Sunny Deol on fallout with Darr co-star Shah Rukh Khan: “It was childish, we have moved on”

Veteran actor Sunny Deol has opened up about his fallout with Shah Rukh Khan after the release of the 1993 film Darr. Deol, who is currently celebrating the success of his latest film Gadar 2, said that he and Khan have since moved on from the past and share a good bond now.

"Woh zamana (those days) when it happened, that was a different time," Deol said in an interview with Aap Ki Adalat. "I say, people forget what happened in those days. One understands such things should not have happened. It was bachpana (childishness), definitely."

Deol said that he and Khan have met several times since then and spoken about a number of things. "After that, Shah Rukh and I met several times and spoke to each other about many things. We also talked about some movies," he said.

Deol also revealed that Khan called him up after watching Gadar 2 with his family. "This time, he was watching my film with his entire family. And he called me up. Toh sab cheezen bahut badhiya hai. Sab kuch bahut badhiya (everything is fine now)," he said.

Deol's comments come after the two actors were seen hugging at the success party of Gadar 2 last week. For the unversed, the fallout between Deol and Khan is said to have stemmed from the climax of Darr. Deol had reportedly disagreed with the way the film glorified the villain, played by Khan.
