Shah Rukh Khan reacts as Akshay Kumar says 'our films are back' after Jawan success: “Aap ne Dua maangi na…”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently obliterating the box office with Jawan which has collected Rs. 321.16 crores in just five days of its release in theatres. The film, helmed by Atlee Kumar, stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara along with a special appearance from Deepika Padukone. As SRK is enjoying his blissful time at the box office, he continues to interact on X, formerly known as Twitter. Akshay Kumar took to the platform to congratulate Shah Rukh on Jawan's success.

Akshay Kumar on Monday night tweeted, "What massive success!! Congratulations my Jawan Pathaan @iamsrk. Our films are back and how." Responding to OMG 2 actor, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "Aap ne Dua maangi na hum sab ke liye toh kaise khaali jayegi. All the best and stay healthy Khiladi! Love u."

Anupam Kher, who has worked with SRK in many films, also shared a photo with the superstar and wrote in Hindi referencing Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, “My dear Shahrukh! I have just finished watching your film ‘Jawaan’ with the audience in Amritsar. Enjoyed it. The action, the scale of the picture, your style and performance are very good. At one or two places, I even killed the city etc.! Loved everyone. in the movie! Congratulations to the entire team and especially to the writer/director @Atlee_dir! When I come back to Mumbai, I will definitely hug you and say - O Pochi, O Koki, O Poppy, O Lola!! @iamsrk."

The movie also stars Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Mukesh Chhabra, Girija Oak Godbole, Aaliyah Qureishi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Lehar Khan.

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film released on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
