After having kept the nation in great anticipation for the release, Shah Rukh Khan’s most anticipated Jawan finally arrived on the big screens on September 7 and has obliterated the box office. The film opened at Rs. 65.50 crore on Thursday, surpassing SRK's own record with Pathaan.

As the celebration galore is at its peak as Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a double massy avatar on the big screen, the superstar took to Twitter to thank everyone. After thanking several fan clubs, he wrote, "Thank you for all the love and appreciation for #Jawan!! Stay safe and happy… Please keep sending in the pics and videos of all of you enjoying at the movies…. And I will be back soon to see all of them! Until then… Party with Jawan in the theatres!! Lots of love and gratitude!"
