The much-awaited web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is inching closer to its release on May 1st on Netflix. To celebrate this grand occasion, the makers hosted a star-studded premiere night on Wednesday. The event saw the presence of numerous Bollywood A-listers, all sporting infectious smiles as they came to support the cast and crew. From Salman Khan to Alia Bhatt and the evergreen Rekha, the evening was a showcase of camaraderie and appreciation for Bhansali's work.

The official Netflix India Instagram account shared a glimpse into the night with a collection of captivating photos. One photo, in particular, caught everyone's attention. It featured Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali posing together, looking suave and sophisticated. This joint appearance served as a welcome sight for fans, effectively quashing rumours of a rift between the two after their film Inshallah with Alia Bhatt was shelved.

Photos showed veteran actress Rekha sharing a warm embrace with the director. Another highlight was Alia Bhatt, who delivered a critically acclaimed performance in Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Bhansali is venturing into the digital world for the first time with Heeramandi. The series is set against the backdrop of the 1940s and promises an epic narrative of love, power, and freedom. With Bhansali at the helm, viewers can expect a visually stunning spectacle, intricate characters, and a story that resonates long after the credits roll.
