Karan Johar reminisces magic of 90s by sharing a video of Shah Rukh Khan from Duplicate: “SRK giving each shot a volcano of energy”

The trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Farah Khan’s friendship has been witnessed in the industry for decades. Recently, Karan took a moment to reminisce about the early days, particularly their time working on the 1998 film Duplicate.

In an Instagram post, he shared a fan-made edit of the song Wah Ji Wah from the movie. He recalled the infectious energy brought by Shah Rukh Khan on set, infusing each scene with his trademark charisma. For Karan, Duplicate wasn't just another project; it was a nostalgic journey back to the magic of the '90s. He wrote, “@farahkhankunder owning and nailing the vibe! Reacting to the post, Farah Khan said, “The film where I actually became best friends with u @karanjohar.”

Directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Karan's father, Yash Johar, Duplicate was an action-packed comedy that showcased Shah Rukh Khan's versatility as he portrayed dual roles alongside leading ladies Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre.
