Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh gaze at each other under a smiling Karan Johars command in behind-the-scenes photo

Filmmaker Karan Johar returns to direction with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem after seven years since Karan’s last directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Billed as a new era of love, the makers had released the film’s teaser in June 2023 followed by song release ‘Tum Kya Mile’. On July 4, the trailer of the upcoming film was unveiled which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhary and Jaya Bachchan.

Post the trailer release, Alia Bhatt hosted a mini Q&A session with fans on Instagram and answered some fun questions about the film. Towards the end of the session, she shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself gazing at Ranveer Singh under the supervision of Karan Johar. She wrote, “Okay that was funnnnn….I’ll see you soon…we shall pick this AMA up again…next time with RANI :) bye bye!”

The film promises to be this year's biggest entertainer, a wholesome blend of emotions, humour, romance and family drama.

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on 28th July, 2023.
