Adipurush: Poster of Shri Bajrang Bali aka Devdatta Nage unveiled on Hanuman Janmotsav
On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the Adipurush filmmakers revealed a brand-new poster from the movie. Showcasing his valour and vehemence towards Raghav, the poster features Devdatta Nage as Shri Bajrang Bali! Om Raut's film Adipurush is based on the Ramayana. Devdatta Nage is depicted on the poster in a meditative position. We catch a glimpse of Prabhas, who plays Raghav in Om Raut's film, in the background. The lead cast shared the poster on social media and added the following caption: “Ram ke Bhakt aur Ramkatha ke praan...Jai Pavanputra Hanuman (a devotees of Ram and life of Ramkatha...Hail Lord Hanuman). It is an apt recollection of the famous devotional lines from ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ “विद्यावान गुनी अति चातुर। रामकाज करीबे को आतुर।“ The divine image is a reminder of Shri Bajrang Bali’s sheer dedication towards the virtues of Raghav portrayed by Prabhas. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Lankesh. The magnum opus is slated to release in theatres in IMAX and 3D on June 16 this year. The film, directed by Om Raut, has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Adipurush is directed by Om Raut is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles and Om Raut himself.
