Team Adipurush unveils the first look poster of Kriti Sanon as Janaki on Maa Sita Navami
After releasing the motion poster of Adipurush aka Prabhas on Ram Navami, now, on the auspicious occasion of Maa Sita Navami, team Adipurush pay special tribute to his wife, aka Sita by unveiling the poster of Kriti Sanon as Janaki. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles.
The makers have unveiled the posters of Kriti Sanon as one of the most reverred woman in the Indian History - an epitome of dedication, selflessness, bravery and purity - the enchanting Janaki . Along with that, the makers have also released the audio teaser of the famous bhajan, 'Ram Siya Ram', which is expected to be a part of the film’s album.

A source close to the film opened about Kriti Sanon as Janaki saying, “She represents purity, divinity and courage as Raghav’s consort. The melodious tune of ‘Ram Siya Ram’ perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Janaki's unwavering devotion towards Raghav and is sure to transport the audience to a world of spirituality and devotion. Their rendition, this soulful melody of ‘Ram Siya Ram’ is sung and composed Sachet-Parampara.”

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is produced by T- Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. It is said to be inspired by the mythological saga of Ramayana and features, Saif Ali Khan as Lankeshwar, Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, and Sunny Singh as Lakshman. The film is expected to be a Pan India venture and will be releasing globally on June 16, 2023.
