Her jewelled blouse has delicate hand-embroidered jhumkas and auspicious elephant designs on the sheer back. What actually jumped out were the names of her children (Akash, Isha, and Anant) and grandkids (Krishna, Aadiya, Prithvi, and Veda) stitched on her choli. The hemline also had Sanskrit shlokas. The heavy dupatta with elaborate zari embroidery was the focal point of her traditional dress.

Actor Bakhtiyaar Irani shared an interesting tidbit in a recent interview. He revealed that he was originally cast in Dharma Productions' film Ae Watan Mere Watan, starring Sara Ali Khan, but was replaced at the final stages.

Excited about the opportunity, he even underwent a physical transformation for the part. "The director told me I was too bulky for the 1940s setting," he said. Following a strict diet and workout plan, Bakhtiyaar managed to lose 8 kgs in just a month and a half. Bakhtiyaar Irani On Being Replaced At The Last Minute  "Everything seemed finalized," Bakhtiyaar continued. "The director said 'next week contract signing' and I told my close circle – about 30 people – because I was so sure." However, the contract signing never happened. The role eventually went to another actor. Uncertain Reasons for Replacement Bakhtiyaar admitted his disappointment, attributing the change to bad luck. He also expressed his lack of understanding behind the decision. "Bigger name, not necessarily a good actor," he stated, highlighting that he had undergone proper auditions and impressed the director. The Role in Question While Bakhtiyaar didn't directly name the character, it's believed to be the role of Firdaus Engineer, portrayed by Anand Tiwari in the film. Actor Emraan Hashmi has addressed a comment he made a decade ago on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee with Karan. During the show's rapid-fire round in 2014, Emraan referred to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as "plastic," sparking a lot of controversy. In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Emraan has expressed regret for his remark.

Emraan Expresses His Regret For Calling Aishwarya “Plastic” When asked directly if he regretted his comment about Aishwarya, Emraan readily replied, "I regret it. I always say that I have the utmost respect for everyone I spoke about." He further explained his regret, stating, "I regret it because it was distasteful. Lately, people have become very sensitive. People get mad at everything on social media. In terms of the show, we were playing a game, it was all in jest. It was supposed to be taken sportingly." Emraan Speaks About Koffee With Karan’s Competitive Nature Emraan compared the situation to the present, highlighting how social media has changed the landscape. "Recently, Karan Johar himself confessed that the rapid fire round in the latest season of the show was the most boring. It’s because now, the environment has completely changed. Although Aishwarya never directly addressed the comment, she did mention in a 2019 interview with Filmfare that being called "fake and plastic" was one of the worst things said about her. Recalling a moment from his early days as a fan, Emraan said, "I waited for hours outside Aishwarya's van after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam just to catch a glimpse of her. I was a huge fan!" Emraan Speaks On Personally Apologising Aishwarya Despite his efforts, Emraan never got to meet Aishwarya. "I have never met her. I have never had a conversation with her," he said. "I would love to meet her. And I would love to apologise if she felt bad about it. I will have to meet her and ask her. I am sorry if I offended you.”

There were also rumors suggesting Aishwarya declined a film with Emraan due to his comment. However, Emraan denied these rumors, stating, "I have heard these rumours, but I don’t think it holds any truth. I think people just made a big deal out of it. I honestly don’t know if something of that sort ever happened."

Coming to the professional front, Emraan is currently promoting his latest web show, Showtime. Recently the makers shared part 2 of season 1 on Disney+ Hotstar. The show also stars Naseeruddin Siddiqui, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Mouni Roy, among others.

Sonakshi Sinha admits she has the most beautiful life. Sonakshi married the love of her life, Zaheer Iqbal, following the success of her Netflix programme Heeramandi, and her film Kakuda, starring the newest 100 crore club member—Munjya director Aditya Sarpotdar—is currently available on ZEE5.

Sonakshi was promoting Kakuda, which also stars Ritesh Deshmukh and close buddy, actor Saqib Saleem. When questioned why she went back to work so soon after being married, Sonakshi told Indianexpress.com, “I just got married, guys. Pata nahi aisa bhi kya kar diya maine.” When asked whether she’s not planning to take off for her honeymoon with Zaheer, she said, “Maine woh bhi kar diya. And now I am back to work, and I am loving it.”

She is looking forward to promoting her film Kakuda, a parody horror comedy. Speaking on how she is pushing out of her comfort zone for Kakuda, Sonakshi said, “Kakuda came to me and I just found it to be such a fun read. I was very entertained while reading the script. Although I don’t like horror films, there was so much humour in this film. Aditya (Sarpotdar) is someone who has understood this genre so well. I think his grasp on it is fantastic. He kind of knows where to scare people, where to make them laugh, the punches, the beats, he gets it bang on. It was a pleasure to work on a genre like this for the first time with a director like him who is so well versed with it. So, I had a blast. It was me stepping out of my comfort zone, trying out something I hadn’t done before. I’d love to do it again because it was so much fun.”

Sonakshi then explained how she quickly signed Kakuda. She added, “If I like something then I don’t believe in dilly-dallying and making the other person wait too much. If I am excited about something, then I am. I’ll go full on. That is what happened with this film as well.”

Sonakshi further added, “I think it is fantastic. I am doing exactly the kind of work that I always wanted to do and it’s been a gradual process. I have done everything. I want to be an actor who filmmakers think ‘I can put this girl in any genre and cast her in any kind of film.’ Today I am open to doing any kind of film, small film, big film, action film, romantic film, whatever film. I want to be that actor who can be cast anywhere. I have tried my hand at everything, really, and I have enjoyed it. Some films have done well; some films have not. I have made my mistakes and I have learned from them. That has really made me the actor and person I am today.”

Sonakshi Sinha's desire to explore Biopics

Sonakshi Sinha began her career with Salman Khan's Dabangg in 2010. While she has played a variety of roles throughout the course of her career, she has recently taken on projects on her own. When asked if she has intentionally chosen meaty parts over conventional glitter roles.

Sonakshi said, “I am open to everything. The role should excite me. It’s been a while since I shifted gears from a particular kind of film that I was doing to playing very strong female characters on screen. And I really enjoy that. It really satisfies me as a person and as an actor. So I will follow that same direction and then it depends on what roles I get to play. I’d love to do biopics. I’d love to do period films more, do all out action again. I really enjoyed doing action in Akira.”

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to complete 14 years as an actor in Bollywood this year in September. In these years, she played varied roles but it was only in 2024 that she played a dual role for the first time in her much-talked-about web series, Heeramandi. And now it has come to light that she has a double role in her latest release, Kakuda as well.

Kakuda is a horror comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya (2024) fame. Released directly on Zee5, it is set in a village haunted by a midget ghost. The ghost attacks a newly married man, Sunny (played by Saqib Salaam). He’s all set to die in 13 days. Not ready to take things lying down, his wife Indira aka Indu (Sonakshi Sinha) asks for help from a ghost hunter, Victor Jacobs (Riteish Deshmukh).

Very soon in the film, viewers get to know that Indu has a twin sister by the name of Gomati. The twin sister angle makes for an interesting addition and forms an important plot point, especially in the film’s second half.

In Heeramandi, meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha played the role of Rehana and that of her daughter Fareedan. But in this Netflix show directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, both characters never appear together. That’s not the case in Kakuda and many scenes feature two Sonakshi’s on the screen.

Kakuda is also Sonakshi Sinha’s first release after her marriage with her long-time boyfriend and actor Zaheer Iqbal. The wedding was a star-studded affair and also led to some controversies due to protests in Bihar and brother Luv Sinha’s comments on Zaheer on the microblogging platform X, which he later deleted.

Before Heeramandi, Sonakshi Sinha’s first release of 2024 was Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, in which she was seen in a supporting role. Her upcoming release is Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness, directed by her brother Kussh Sinha.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas (2002) remains one of his most iconic works. Based on the story by the late celebrated author Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, the movie starred Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit played Paro and Chandramukhi respectively. The film became a runaway success and swept most of the awards that year.

Devdas was also one of the earliest films for actress Nehha Pendse, who was a teenager back then. She played the character of Chaurangi, one of the girls in Chandramukhi’s palace.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to be a strict taskmaster. There are also stories about his anger. However, Nehha’s experience of working with him was exactly the opposite. She revealed this while recalling an incident during the film’s shoot in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama.

“This is also what I heard (that Bhansali is a strict taskmaster). But my experience of him, not just with me but my observation of him during Devdas was very different. He was the coolest and extremely patient,” she said.

Nehha recalled an interesting incident during a scene she shot. “In fact, I remember one incident very clearly,” she said. “It was a little complex shot between me, Madhuri and others where retakes were happening because of me. It was because I wasn’t doing my part correctly. But he was so patient! Not one set of anger, nothing whatsoever. I was feeling guilty for taking retakes, but he was so chilled. Of course, I was a child. He took care of me.”

Nehha added, “So, I, honestly, have a very different experience of him. I am a little surprised when I hear all these stories of him losing his cool. My personal experience, not just with me but, like I said, being on the set in general (with him) has been very nice, beautiful and memorable.”

Nehha has always been a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan, even when she was shooting Devdas. There was also a moment in the film where she shared the screen with SRK. However, she couldn’t speak to him due to an unusual reason.

“If I have to be very honest, I was a 15-16-year-old very shy girl,” she said. “He is the most courteous man ever. He is going to wish good mornings and good nights to everyone who comes in his eyesight. He makes you feel comfortable, happy, everything. I was so shy that I didn’t even have the courage to wish him good night back. I just used to smile and look down because dil mein laddoo phoot te the (I was all excited from inside).”

Nehha added that she hasn’t got a chance to meet SRK again. But if she does, she won’t let the opportunity go by abegging.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently took to his Twitter account and share an update about the runtime and certification details for the upcoming film Bad Newz.

In his tweet, Adarsh announced that Bad Newz. has received a UA (Universal Adult) certification from the censor board, indicating that the film is suitable for Adult. Alongside this, he disclosed that the film’s runtime is a lengthy 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The tale of Bhool Bhulaiyaa is getting a fresh chapter, and this time, the thrills and chills are headed to the historical town of Orchha in Madhya Pradesh. After a brief hiatus for Kartik Aaryan's other project, Chandu Champion, the team has regrouped, ready to unleash the scares (and laughs) with the film's final shooting schedule. Kartik has shed his playful persona to embrace the role of Rooh Baba once more. He's joined by Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Notably, Vidya Balan, who left audiences spellbound with her portrayal of Manjulika in the first film (2007), is expected to join the cast this week.

According to a report in Mid-day, director Anees Bazmee embarked on a meticulous scouting mission across Madhya Pradesh in June. After careful consideration, Orchha emerged as the perfect setting for the film's final act. The town boasts breathtaking natural beauty, alongside ancient palaces and monuments that resonate with historical significance.

On July 3rd, the cameras started rolling once again, capturing the essence of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The first leg of the two-week schedule unfolded at the picturesque Kanchan Ghat, nestled along the serene Betwa River. Last week, the team shifted gears, filming dramatic scenes at the Ram Raja Mandir, with Aaryan, Dixit, and Rajpal Yadav leading the charge. Currently, the focus is on capturing the romantic essence of the story with Aaryan and Dimri filming a song and other tender scenes at the breathtaking Jahangir Mahal. The grand finale, however, promises an explosive culmination, bringing all four lead actors - Aaryan, Dimri, Dixit-Nene, and Balan - together.

The first film (2007) transported audiences to the vibrant hues of Jaipur and the historical grandeur of Hampi. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) opted for a more urban landscape, filmed primarily in Mumbai and Lucknow. This time, the story embarks on a journey from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the historical echoes of Kolkata, finally settling in the captivating town of Orchha. The production team is currently residing at the Orchha Palace Hotel and Convention Centre.

Speaking about the location choice, producer Bhushan Kumar highlights the significance of filming at iconic landmarks like Orchha Fort and Ram Raja Mandir. He emphasized, “These settings not only offer beautiful backgrounds, but also bring an authentic charm to the story. These historical landmarks add to the cultural richness of every scene.”

Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in the lead role in the film  Lucky Baskhar, a period drama narrating the extraordinary life of a Bank Cashier from the late 1980s to early 1990s. Blockbuster director Venky Atluri is writing and directing the film on a massive scale. Now, the makers have announced the movie to release on 7th September, worldwide.

The movie has wrapped up shooting and for the film, makers have recreated 80's Mumbai (known as Bombay back then) in Hyderabad with some expensive and extensive sets. Further makers have constructed a Bank set resembling banks from the story time period on an even bigger scale.

Sithara Entertainments production house, constructed such huge sets. They are confident about audiences being transported into the life of Lucky Baskhar during that time period, while being arrested by his antics and journey.

Ace Production designer Banglan researched extensively to bring authenticity to the sets. Eminent cinematographer Nimish Ravi worked with director Venky Atluri to capture the journey of Lucky Baskhar.

Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the leading lady role and GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film. They already released teaser and song have gone viral, raising expectations for the film among the fans and movie-lovers.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively had produced the film and Srikara Studios has presented it. Pan-India film Lucky Baskhar will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil languages.

Indian music diva Usha Uthup’s husband Jani Chacko Uthup, died on Monday in Kolkata, according to his family. Jani, 78, complained of discomfort while watching television at their home. He was taken to a local hospital, but pronounced dead, according to reports.

A major cardiac arrest caused the fatality, they noted. Jani, Usha's second husband, had background in tea plantations. They initially met at the renowned Trincas in the early 1970s.

Jani leaves behind a son and a daughter in addition to Usha. The family has announced that the final rites will take place on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Usha Uthup received the third-highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhushan, for her contributions to the music business. The singer exclusively spoke to News18 about the recognition. She said, “It’s been an unbelievable moment. The feeling hasn’t sunk in yet. I am thankful to the Government of India for recognising my talent.”

The ceremony was conducted at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of India's President, Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah.

While both men are known for their strong personas, fans were thrilled to see the camaraderie between the two. Khan, who rarely shares details of his private life on social media, took to X, aka Twitter, to share this special photo with Dhoni wherein the latter is seen cutting the cake at Salman’s residence Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. It is being said that Dhoni was also accompanied by his wife Sakshi. Salman captioned the pic saying, “Happy Birthday Kaptaan Sahab! @msdhoni”.

Meanwhile, another video of the cake cutting ceremony also surfaced on the platform where the former cricketer is seen cutting three different cakes and he fed one of them to Sakshi. About Salman Khan

Talking about Khan’s work commitments, the superstar is currently shooting for his highly-awaited film Sikandar which was announced in Eid this year. The film will mark his first onscreen collaboration with actress Rashmika Mandanna and is directed by A R Murugadoss along with Sajid Nadiadwala producing it. It is expected to release in cinemas during Eid 2025.

The month of May brought some relief to the exhibitors thanks to the Rajkummar Rao-starrer Srikanth. It was one of the few major releases of the month and did exceptionally well in cinemas. It also made its director Tushar Hiranandani someone to watch out for. It has now come to light that Tushar has already moved on to his next project. As per a source, he is reshooting certain portions of the Vikrant Massey-starrer The Sabarmati Report.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The film is not going for a massive reshoot. The producers felt that some scenes could come out strongly and also, they thought of roping in Tushar Hiranandani for the reshoot. The actors, too, readily came on board.”

In April 2024, Bollywood Hungama reported that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had expressed reservations that certain moments in the film could hurt the sentiments of a section of the moviegoers and hence, the makers had toyed with the idea of reshooting the film. The source, however, has no information on whether the film is being reshot for this reason or some other factor.

Back then, Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report that The Sabarmati Report wouldn’t be able to make it in cinemas on May 3. This was a time when the Lok Sabha Elections were going on and besides objections to some scenes, the CBFC also feared that it might violate the model code of conduct as laid down by the Election Commission of India.

Besides Vikrant Massey, The Sabarmati Report also stars Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. It is a political thriller about two reporters investigating the burning of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra on February 27, 2002. It is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan and directed by Ranjan Chandel.

The major festivities will begin on July 12 with the auspicious Shubh Vivah (wedding ceremony). According to reports, visitors are invited to get into the spirit of the occasion by dressed in traditional Indian costume. The festivities will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad. The last celebration, Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, is slated for Sunday, July 14.

Shweta Tiwari, fondly remembered for her portrayal of Prerna Sharma in Ektaa Kapoor's iconic drama Kasautii Zindagi Kay, recently shared a behind-the-scenes anecdote from the show. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shweta recounted a challenging experience while filming a scene for one of the show's early episodes. The scene required her character to fall into a river, with her co-star Cezanne Khan's character jumping in to rescue her. The narrative demanded that both actors remain in the water throughout the night.

Shweta Tiwari Recalls Shooting in Less Than Ideal Condition "It was really gross," Shweta revealed. "Cezanne and I were shooting for a sequence where my character falls into a river and his character jumps in to save me. The story required our characters to stay in the water the whole night and only come out in the morning when someone else comes to help us." A Rude Awakening Unfortunately, the actors were unaware of the unpleasant surprise that awaited them the next morning. "We were shooting this in Film City Lake and stayed in the water all night," Shweta continued. "In the morning, we realised that kids had been sitting on the edge of the lake and pooping there. I was like, 'Oh s***, we were in this water the whole night!'" 

As if the sewage water wasn't enough, Shweta also encountered another unsettling surprise. "I also saw a snake crawling there," she added, "and realised it was in the water with us at night."

Kasautii Zindagi Kay's Legacy Kasautii Zindagi Kay, which aired from 2001 to 2008, remains a popular television drama in India. The show's success spawned a reboot, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, in 2018. However, the second iteration failed to capture the same level of viewership as the original.

The 'mameru' ceremony, which is an important part of Gujarati weddings, represents the couple's blessings and well-wishes from the groom's maternal family. It also included the presentation of 'mameru', a traditional collection of presents from the groom's maternal uncles and family.

On June 29, before the 'mameru' ritual, the Ambanis held a private puja ceremony at their Mumbai home, Antilia.

Actor Huma Qureshi has come on board to headline the upcoming investigative police procedural drama Bayaan, award-winning producer Shiladitya Bora announced on Friday. Developed at Film Independent, Los Angeles, Bayaan will be helmed by writer-director Bikas Mishra, best known for his acclaimed feature film Chauranga.

Also starring actors Chandrachur Singh and Sachin Khedekar, Bayaan is set to begin production in Rajasthan, this month. The film is jointly produced by Shiladitya Bora (Platoon One Films), Madhu Sharma (Summit Studios), Kunal Kumar, and Anshuman Singh.

The drama is set against the ravishing landscape of Rajasthan and follows the story of a father-daughter duo. "Roohi, a female detective, is sent to a small town in Rajasthan to probe the first case of her career as a lead investigator. She is, however, doomed to fail as her opponent’s influence runs deep within the system. Roohi must strive to live up to her father’s legacy, who is a legend in the world of law enforcement," the logline reads.

The film is supported by the International Film Festival Rotterdam’s Hubert Bals Fund and was developed at LA Residency, a part of the Global Media Makers (GMM) program of Film Independent, Los Angeles. During the course of the residency, Bikas was mentored by Craig Mazin (creator of HBO’s Chernobyl, The Last of Us, Hangover 2 and 3) and received advice on the script from writer Jeff Stockwell and story editor Ruth Atkinson.

"The sheer passion of the director-producer duo, Bikas and Shiladitya, moved me," actor Huma Qureshi said about signing Bayaan.

"Collaborating with such dedicated professionals, who care deeply about filmmaking, is truly exciting. It's a rare combination: a fantastic script, a talented crew, and their complete dedication to their work. Their energy is infectious. Bikas Mishra, known for his debut feature Chauranga, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles in 2015 and was declared Best Indian Feature at the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) in 2014, said, "I feel humbled by the unconditional support Bayaan has received from Shiladitya and Huma. Having assembled the best cast and crew, there is no stopping now. We are going to make a film that will speak to the world, to tell a story we care a great deal about."

Producer Shiladitya Bora said a film like Bayaan perfectly aligned with the vision of his production house. "As a producer, I'm always looking for that one script that will be a breakout film for everyone involved. My job is to back the director's vision and empower him to create a film that will take us places. Huma's backing reaffirms my faith in the project."

Producer Shiladitya Bora has earlier backed projects such as Newton (India’s Official Entry to the 2018 Oscars), and Picasso (Prime Video India's first Marathi direct-to-digital acquisition). His banner, Platoon One Films, is a leading Indian independent film production house that was behind last year’s Berlin Panorama selection Ghaath.

Bayaan boasts a talented crew; three of them, the director, producer, and cinematographer, are alumni of the prestigious Berlinale Talents. Udit Khurana (Ghaath, Netflix’s Hunt for Veerappan) will shoot the film, while Vinay Vishwakarma (Disney-Hotstar's Candy) will serve as the production designer, and Shilpi Agarwal (Prasanna Vithanage’s Paradise, Netflix’s Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom) will serve as the costume designer. Location sound will be done by Amala Popuri (Ghajini, Trial By Fire). The casting is put together by Casting Director Rahul Tanwar. Ashok Sen (Newton, Raazi) will be the First AD, Ratan Sil Sarma will be the Head of Production, with Himanshu Malik as Executive Producer.

The film will also showcase many acclaimed actors in pivotal roles, including Avijit Dutt (Piku), Shampa Mandal (Sonchiriya, Sherni), Priti Shukla, Vibhor Mayank and Aditi Kanchan Singh.

Radhika Merchant held her Mameru ceremony on Wednesday night, just before her spectacular wedding. The bride-to-be's maternal uncles present her with jewellery and garments as part of the Gujarati custom. The wedding was place at the Ambani house in Mumbai.

Photos and videos from the ceremony were widely circulated online. Beside from Ambanis, Radhika's pal Janhvi Kapoor and her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya were also seen at the event.

Radhika dressed in a multicolored lehenga for her wedding. She finished her ensemble with striking jewelry and perfectly braided hair. Anant Ambani, the groom-to-be, complemented his bride by wearing a similar-colored pajama suit. The bride and groom were seen riding in a jungle-themed carriage decorated with figurines of numerous wild animals.

The family can be seen striking funny poses and enjoying their time together. Ziana looks adorable in a multi-coloured frock, Charu stuns in a black ensemble, and Rajeev looks stylish in a white striped shirt and white jeans. Alongside the video, Rajeev captioned it, "Tera Mera Pyar," reflecting the love and joy of their trip.

Fun and games in Dubai

In another Instagram post, Ziana is seen sitting gleefully on her mother’s lap, beaming with excitement about their Dubai adventure. The family is also seen enjoying bumper rides and playing games, with an adorable moment of Ziana sitting on her daddy’s tummy and playing. These shared moments highlight the close bond and joy the family is experiencing together in Dubai.

A journey of love and togetherness

Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa, who tied the knot in June 2019, welcomed their first child, Ziana, in 2021. Despite their divorce on June 8, 2023, their Dubai trip showcases their commitment to co-parenting and creating lasting memories for their daughter. This vacation not only marks a significant milestone for Ziana but also emphasizes the enduring bond and love shared by the family.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are expecting their first child together, watched Kalki 2898 AD on Tuesday night. Several photographs and videos of the couple outside a movie theater appeared on social media networks, however they were photographed coming separately.

Deepika stepped out of her car, looking around and smiling. She also mouthed the word "thank you". She donned a white T-shirt with a black jacket and cropped blue jeans. The actor wore glasses, a purse, and white sneakers. Before entering the theater, she briefly posed for the paparazzi.

Outside the theater, Ranveer Singh was spotted waving and smiling at fans and paparazzi. He donned all black, including a T-shirt, cape, jeans, shoes, cap, and sunglasses. The star was also seen signaling for the paparazzi to move aside. His mother, Anju Bhavnani, and sister, Ritika Bhavnani, were also seen at the scene.

After watching the film, Ranveer posted a review on Instagram Stories. He wrote, "Kalki 2898 @kalki2898ad - a grand cinematic spectacle! That's what big-screen cinema is all about! An unprecedented level of finesse in technical execution. The very best in Indian cinema. Congrats to Nagi Sir & team! @nag_ashwin."

Director Nag Ashwin's 3D sci-fi spectacle Kalki 2898 AD has a reported budget of ₹600 crores. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana star in this multilingual film. Vyjayanthi Movies produces Kalki 2898 AD, which is described as a combination of the Hindu epic Mahabharata with science fiction. The film was released worldwide on June 27 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English languages.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will appear in the film Singham Again, which will be released in theaters on November 1. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, among others. Ranveer will also star in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, was scheduled to open in theatres on July 5. However, due to the success of Kalki 2898 AD at the box office, the film's release date is expected to be pushed.

The makers have now officially confirmed the film's new release date. The statement stated, 'On the request of the exhibitors and distribution fraternity, we have mutually decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.' It also noted, 'New release date to be announced soon.'

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is Ajay and Tabu's eleventh film together, and fans are anxious to see them as lovers. Director Neeraj Panday admits that he was unaware of their off-screen friendship, but he thought they were the ideal cast for the picture. “Two years back, when we were figuring out our next theatrical release, the germ of this film came to me. It was there in some form in my head before that but I didn’t actually sit down and write about it till two years ago. And Ajay and Tabu were my first choices. Having said that, I don’t know if it’s their friendship that translated onscreen because I know nothing about its background,” the filmmaker said.

Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha is an epic love story that follows Krishna and Vasudha as their young relationship confronts numerous challenges, eventually leading to their separation when Krishna commits multiple murders and is condemned to life in jail. Krishna gets released from prison after 22 years, and the story revolves around his final rendezvous with Vasudha.

When asked about the success of Kalki 2898 AD, producer Sangeeta Ahir of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stated, "It is good for us that the audience is back in theatres and happy days are back."
