Koffee With Karan 8: Vicky Kaushal reveals he proposed to Katrina Kaif a day prior to their wedding: “I had been warned by everybody that if you don’t propose…”

The latest episode of Koffee with Karan brings together the dynamic duo, Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal, who were last seen together in Govinda Naam Mera. Gracing the couch with their good looks and spilling the beans on their respective marriages, proposals and more, this episode was all things entertaining, cute and full of laughter and warmth. Vicky married Katrina Kaif in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan on December 9, 2021. The couple remained tight-lipped about their relationship and it was only confirmed when they got married.

During the chat with Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal revealed he proposed to Katrina Kaif a day prior to the wedding as she was busy with Tiger 3 shoot whereas he was completely swamped with his work commitments. “It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don’t propose, it’s something you’ll have to be prepared for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding. It was a dinner just before any of the friends and families could come,” the actor said.

He also revealed that he only met Katrina Kaif’s family just a week before their wedding as travel was not allowed due to COVID-19. He told Karan all the ice between him and her family was broken when he danced to ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’.
