BTS’ RM announced as global ambassador for Bottega Veneta; Creative Director welcomes Kim Namjoon to the “family”
The ascension of BTS to international recognition has been nothing short of extraordinary. With each new musical project, business partnership, global tour, and other endeavours, the pop titans have been making a mark of themselves. The septet, which consists of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has attracted the crème de la crème of the luxury market and occasionally seals big deals. The extensive list of BTS brand partnerships demonstrates the lads' dominance in the international entertainment industry. The portfolio of the BTS lads includes brands including Disney+, McDonald's, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. The individual brand value of each member of BTS is equal to or greater than that of the group as a whole. The most recent development is that RM of BTS has been named a Bottega Veneta brand ambassador. Brands have knocked on each member's door, especially after their June 2022 statement that they will be concentrating on separate careers. SUGA x Valentino, Jimin x Tiffany & Co., J-Hope x Louis Vuitton, Jungkook x Calvin Klein have recently signed contracts with these prestigious companies. RM now joins the camp. Milan, Italy is home to the upmarket fashion label Bottega Veneta. Ready-to-wear, purses, shoes, accessories, and jewellery are among its product categories. Bottega Veneta's creative director Matthieu Blazy welcomed BTS star RM as their new global ambassador via social media. Many people have noticed the post, and the ARMY is unable to remain calm because they only had positive things to say. This cooperation has long been rumoured, but it has now been confirmed. ARMY had suspected that RM is all set to become the brand ambassador for the Italian luxury brand when he was spotted at the Bottega Veneta show during the Milan Fashion Week 2023. It is known that he does in fact, admire the brand and now, he is representing it. Creative director Blazy took to social media as he tagged RM in the picture, and added the caption, “Welcome to the family”. The photo sees RM carrying the brand’s Andiamo bag, which looks like is a part of their new Spring/Summer 2023 campaign. Interestingly, RM had spoken about the brand earlier, and he told El País, “Bottega [Veneta] is different” despite the fact that he has “lost interest in brands”. He added, "They don’t use logos, they have a history with weaving and leather, they don’t even have Instagram. They are beyond the buzz.” On the work front, BTS’ RM released his solo album Indigo last year.
