Not too long ago we reported about how FIFA fever has gripped Bollywood. Right before the finals, celebrities couldn’t stop rooting for their favourite teams and took to social media to cheer for them. While most of them showered their love for Lionel Messi and the team Argentina, they were thrilled when the team won, despite a close match with France. Interestingly, this year, there was also a massive Indian cinema representation at the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 with Deepika Padukone representing the country in Doha, Qatar. While some celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, among others, who were busy with other work commitments, decided to catch it live and posted about it on their social media handles. Besides them a few others too added posts dedicated to the winning champions. Varun Dhawan, who had already taken to Instagram to showcase his love for Messi, took to the platform to share his photo in the Argentina Jersey as he wrote ‘Vamos Argentina’. On the other hand, while hubby Ranbir Kapoor is a massive fan of football but is not on social media, his wife Alia Bhatt took to the platform to share a photo of Messi holding the FIFA trophy and dropped heart emojis, showering her love on the team.
