The much talked about and keenly anticipated Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra hit screens yesterday. Directed by Ayan Mukherji the film which hit over 5,000 screens in India has been doing rather well. In fact, Brahmastra enjoyed a massive rate of advance bookings for its first three days with the audience booking seats almost a week before its release. Now, we hear that despite the wide screen count and the multiple languages the audience can’t seem to get enough. In fact, after Delhi, certain theatres in Mumbai will now be featuring round-the-clock shows of Brahmastra.

Interestingly, while conventional releases feature shows as early as 8 AM, after the success and audience demand for tickets of Brahmastra certain theatres like PVR Icon in Goregaon, PVR City Mall in Andheri, PVR Lodha Xperia, and a few other locations will feature round the clock shows. As per reports, these locations will feature shows starting as early as 1.30 AM and continuing with shows ending with the last one at 11 PM. While this certainly bodes well for the film’s business, it is interesting to notice that despite the odd timing audience still seems to be booking their seats. This implementation of round-the-clock shows in Mumbai comes after theatre owners in Delhi achieved success with this format. Given the fact that the craze for the film is high, and the audience seems to be booking tickets for nearly every show it comes as no surprise.

As for the film itself, Brahmastra, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy with special appearances from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone continues its run at the box office. After grossing Rs. 75 cr. worldwide on its first day the business of the film is expected to see a further increase on its first Saturday and Sunday.

There was a time when Tigmanshu Dhulia commenced directing a comedy entitled Con Flick in London starring Govinda. This was in 2015. The actor and the director, the latter an unabashed fan of the former, were most excited. Then suddenly Govinda dropped out of the project. The reason was, Queen Elizabeth II.

It seems Govinda refused to dance in the Buckingham Palace for the Queen. Let me explain. This con caper set in London had a situation where Govinda and Celina Jaitley sneak into the Buckingham Palace and thereafter an elaborate song and dance followed in front of an actress, a doppelganger of Queen Elizabeth playing the Queen.

However when Govinda heard about this he refused reasoning, “I am a member of parliament in India. How can I dance in front of the Queen?”

Dhulia tried his best to convince Govinda that it was all for fun. But Govinda was adamant. The film had to be shelved.

The grand finale of Koffee With Karan promises to make up for Shah Rukh Khan’s absence from this season. Impeccable sources say, Shah Rukh wants to stay away from public interviews until the release of his next film Pathaan next year.

Karan Johar apparently asked Mrs Shah Rukh Khan to grace the couch. “Gauri Khan can’t say no to Karan. She agreed to come on his show on condition that Karan won’t ask any questions about her son Aryan’s incarceration. Karan did squeeze in a couple of questions about Aryan. But by and large he stuck to his promise of not quizzing her on the taboo subject,” reveals an informed source.

While Gauri Khan will initially appear solo in the grand finale of Koffee With Karan she will later be joined by two other star-wives Bhavna Pandey and Maheep Kapoor.

Though it’s too early to predict, does the trade feel that Brahmastra can do business of around Rs. 250-300 crores and thus also emerge as the biggest hit of 2022, especially after they have predicted an opening of more than Rs. 20 crores?

Trade veteran Taran Adarsh answered that it is possible, “Look at where The Kashmir Files started and where it ended. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also jumped from Rs. 14.11 crores to Rs. 185.92 crores. Pushpa opened at just Rs. 3.33 crores and crossed the Rs. 100 crores mark. Meanwhile, Karthikeya 2 opened at just Rs. 7 lakhs in the Hindi belt. It’s now nearing almost Rs. 30 crores! And the bulk of these earnings is coming from the smaller centres. And we have sadly ignored them. I hope they don’t. In the metros, you can play more shows. Toh hum ussi ki kamayi dekhte hai. In the long run, however, the collections come from the B and C Centres. Karthikeya 2, Pushpa, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 – all these films worked in these territories.”

Trade analyst Atul Mohan said, “If all goes well, then the sky is the limit! With an opening of Rs. 20 crores, it can have a weekend of around Rs. 80 crores. But if word of mouth is negative, it’ll prove detrimental.”

Girish Johar, producer and film business analyst, said, “(A lifetime of Rs. 250 crores plus) will be a dream come true. When a Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 can collect Rs. 150 crores plus in the post-pandemic scenario, then there’s a possibility. Also, Disney is releasing the film across the globe and so even, overseas, it’ll have a good chance. Disney has also attached the trailers of Avatar: The Way Of Water and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. These are very smart strategies that can further pull the audiences to cinemas.”

Akshaye Rathi, a film exhibitor and distributor, meanwhile, exulted, “It entirely demands on the quality of storytelling. I am giving this film some benefit of the doubt because Ayan Mukerji’s previous two films – Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) – had fantastic storytelling. And these films have not aged. A lot of films made in 2013 seem stale and dated now but you won’t feel that if you watch Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani today. I am hopeful that he’ll be able to tell a tale that viewers would thoroughly enjoy, especially kids. Because when a kid wants to watch a movie, then multiple tickets are sold as the child will not come alone. He/she will come with the parents or caretaker! Nevertheless, I hope it emerges as a universal hit that appeals to viewers of every age and every demographic.”

Raj Bansal, the owner of Entertainment Paradise in Jaipur, said, “Content will depend on the lifetime business. If the audience appreciates the film, it’ll go beyond Rs. 300 crores. There’s no doubt about it.”

The stage is set and now it depends on whether or not the film gets positive word of mouth. Taran Adarsh said, “This is just the beginning. You’ll never know what’ll happen from hereon. The audience has shown that they are interested. Now it’s up to the film to deliver. Saturday and Sunday will be dependent on the word of mouth.”

He signed off by expressing his happiness over the advance sales and remarked, “I would stand in queues to buy tickets for Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Bobby, Kranti, Kasme Vaade etc. I still remember we didn’t get the tickets for Kasme Vaade. So, we had to see the film in Drive-In theatre in Bandra. It’s great to see this trend being revived by Brahmastra.”

Girish Johar is glad the film has something for every audience, “All the reasons we had given for films flopping earlier are absent in Brahmastra. It has a super-hit song, the casting is exciting, the effects are top-class, the story is unique and further, and it also has a mythological touch. So, it ticks all the boxes.”

Atul Mohan had the last word, “Picture ka chalna bahut zaruri hai. God forbid, if it doesn’t click, the exhibition sector will face a deep crisis.”

D23, the Disney-backed convention in Anaheim, kicked off the first day with several first-look announcements, teasers, and trailers. The first trailers of The Little Mermaid, Hocus Pocus 2 and Disenchanted were unveiled on Friday.

THE LITTLE MERMAID

Disney's The Little Mermaid is coming to theatres on May 26, 2023. The filmmakr Rob Marshall’s live-action reimagining of the studio’s Oscar-winning animated musical classic, is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy reunite for the highly anticipated Disney+ Original Movie Hocus Pocus 2. The live-action, long-awaited sequel to the perennial Halloween classic, which brings back the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters for more comedic mayhem, will debut on Disney+ on September 30.

It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.

Disney+ Hotstar made some big announcements at Disney’s D23 in Anaheim. One of their upcoming fiction series is Showtime, produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra (A Dharmatic Entertainment Production).

Producer, director, and host Karan Johar said, “I am excited to associate with Disney+ Hotstar for our new collaboration, announced at the prestigious D23 Expo. I am happy to announce an all-new Dharma Production series, Showtime, which will lift the curtain on India’s entertainment industry’s biggest trade secrets.” 

Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content, Disney+ Hotstar told Bollywood Hungama, “We are doing a show with Karan Johar called Showtime, the one who has taken so much heat on the topic of nepotism is coming around and is going to tell the story of how all this fits in Bollywood. It’s a story about a studio and which direction it will take. Will it go in favour of bloodline or will it go with merit!”

Synopsis of Showtime: Bollywood is the land of dreams - dreams that are dreamt with eyes wide open. Showtime, a drama series, brings forward all the off-screen fights for the power that runs the show. A deep, raw, unconcealed & uninhibited look into the battle lines that are drawn and crossed to keep the camera rolling and the audience clapping. There is only one emperor that sits on the chair - but what’s a throne without a fight to get there? So, lights…camera…and action! Emraan Hashmi will play the lead in Show Time.

Disney’s D23 is the world’s biggest fan fest that’s taking place in Anaheim, the first one since post-covid.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are teaming up for Ali Abbas Zafar's actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It will be an out-n-out action entertainer and is expected to be mounted on a huge scale. Tiger took to social media on Friday to wish Kumar on his 55th birthday. He shared a photo from the sets of the film.

Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar marked her acting debut in 2015, and has not stopped after that. The actress has earned a name for herself by picking unconventional projects. In fact, even though her last film Raksha Bandhan did not perform well at the Box Office, the actress is continuing to shoot for upcoming projects with the same energy and enthusiasm.

Speaking on the same, the Saand Ki Aankh actress said, “I have recently worked on Afwaah, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui sir and is directed by Sudhir Mishra. It is such a wonderful project. The second half of the year is going to be super packed. I have back-to-back shooting schedules as I start shooting for two new projects”.

As her conversation progressed forward, the Bala actress added, “I feel me-time is extremely important. This year, I have not had a lot of me-time. It is also kind of like the revenge work that I’m doing for the time that we lost in COVID. I’ve not had a lot of me-time and I miss it. But I’m such a workaholic.”

As the Lust Stories actress continued, she asserted, “I’m so grateful for all the opportunities that I have that I don’t feel like slowing down at the moment. When naturally my body will tell me, that okay, slow down a little. I think I will only then slow down. But at the moment, I’m on a high. I’m having a blast.”

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman's latest outing, The Son, received a thunderous standing ovation for a whole 10 minutes on Wednesday at the end of the screening in Venice International Film Festival.

According to Variety, Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern devastated the Venice Film Festival with the world premiere of Florian Zeller’s The Son.Jackman appeared visibly moved during the film’s reception, as did the audience. Jackman hugged his young co-star Zen McGrath amid the ovation.

According to the report, The Son centers on “a family as it falls apart and tries to come back together again,” according to Sony Pictures Classics’ official synopsis. Jackman stars as a father whose 17-year-old son comes to live with him after deciding he can no longer stay with his mother (Dern) years after his parents’ divorce.

Hugh Jackman along with co-stars Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, and Zen McGrath attended the screening of the movie. The Son is Zeller's sequel to The Father, which won two Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor for Anthony Hopkins. The Toronto International Film Festival, which begins on Thursday, September 8, will also screen The Son as one of its featured films.

Cricketer Virat Kohli’s new-found form in the Asia Cup has come as a wave of happiness among his fans, and has made wife Anushka proud of him. Continuing being in form, Virat Kohli hit his first T20I century in yesterday’s match against Afghanistan. Post the match, Anushka Sharma took to her verified social media handle and celebrated Virat’s century with a short, sweet note.

Interestingly, the Zero actress posted a series of photos, featuring Virat’s glimpses from the match. In the caption, the actress made a promise as she wrote, “Forever with you through any and everything”, along with a red heart and an infinity emoticon. Kohli was quick to react to her post as he dropped red hearts in the comments section. Apart from him, many from Sharma’s following list flooded the comments section with reactions; Varun Dhawan, Jaideep Allawat, Sonali Bendre, and Athiya Shetty are the name of a few.

The 33-year-old former captain of the Indian cricket team helped India register a huge 212/2 in their 20 overs during their most recent Super Four match against Afghanistan. He scored 122 runs off 61 balls which had six sixes and 12 boundaries. Post the match, Kohli dedicated the 71st century to Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika.

He said, “It [the century] was worth 1000 words, I am blessed and grateful right now – the last 2 and half years have taught me a lot – this November I will turn 34 so the celebrations are of the past. At this celebration, there were a lot of things put into perspective. I was shocked [with the 100] because this is the format I least expected to get a 100," he told the host broadcaster.

Neelam Kothari Soni is garnering praises for her splendid portrayal in Netflix's show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. While the show features her ongoing dilemma to return to the industry, a switch from her current jewelry business, the actress seems to have found a show that suits her taste. In her recent announcement, she revealed that she has signed up for the popular web series Made in Heaven which will return on Amazon Prime with Season 2.

Speaking about the response she received for Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives 2, a source close to the actress said, “The show had Neelam playing herself and she has successfully struck a chord with the audience due to her adorable and graceful persona. People have been sharing clips of Neelam from the show that depict her not-much shown, funnier and outgoing self.”

“In one of the episodes, Neelam shared the news about her stint in Zoya Akhtar's celebrated and much talked about Made in Heaven 2. Neelam Kothari Soni's stint in the second season of Zoya Akhtar's popular web series that shall also feature her husband Samir Soni and Sanjay Kapoor has left fans cheering and rooting for their favorite actress,” confirmed the source.

On the other hand, Neelam went on to speak about her new project adding, "I was elated when I heard the script. Zoya's craft is really unmatchable. Speaking of Made In Heaven, the show features Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur as Delhi-based wedding planners along with Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin playing pivotal roles. The last season ended with Sobhita discovering her husband’s played by Jim affair with his childhood friend, played by Kalki. The show also loosely touches upon the topics like dowry and homosexuality. After receiving much appreciation for its first season, the makers decided to bring it back with Season 2.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has invested in one of the biggest cosmetic brands in India - Sugar Cosmetics as an equity partner. The actress is paired up with Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh for the campaign to charm the audience with their chemistry.

This will be the second time they share the screen together. While the world of Don’t Worry Darling presents as a luxurious lifestyle that harkens back to the Rat Pack era, with all the outward glamor (and entrenched gender roles) of the times, for filmmaker Olivia Wilde, the immediate draw was the chance to investigate the underlying story and themes with a focused gaze and shifted viewpoint that made her truly eager to dive into helming the project.

The director-producer-performer remembers that beneath the perfectly polished veneer, “I was really intrigued by the overarching concept behind Don’t Worry Darling—what does it take for someone to do the right thing, despite the massive sacrifice at hand? More specifically, the idea of someone living in a society, designed entirely for their comfort, only to discover that that society is corrupt. Can you be the one to recognize that it’s inherently wrong and should be dismantled? As a filmmaker, I was drawn to this original story featuring a heroine who is brilliant, nuanced and complex.”

Don’t Worry Darling is a feature from director Olivia Wilde that boasts performances from Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, surrounded by the impressive and pitch-perfect cast. Don’t Worry Darling is set to open in theaters pan India on 30th September 2022.

South Korean network tvN debuted a spine-chilling teaser for the new mystery-thriller drama Blind, starring Ha Seok Jin and 2PM’s Taecyeon.

Blind follows the lives of ordinary people who have become victims of unfairness and ordinary perpetrators who have turned a blind eye to uncomfortable truths. The drama will be centered around detectives, judges, law school students and jurors.

According to Korean media portal Soompi, 2PM’s Taecyeon plays Ryu Sung Joon, a violent crimes detective who is hell bent on catching criminals. Ha Seok Jin takes on the role of Ryu Sung Joon’s older brother Ryu Sung Hoon who is also a perfectionist judge. Apink’s Jung Eun Ji stars as the social worker Jo Eun Ki who is one of the jurors for a murder trial.

The newly dropped teaser opens with a scream. Ryu Sung Joon interrogates someone, asking – as translated by Soompi – “Who can it be? The person with a deep grudge against you?” In another scene, his brother Ryu Sung Hoon starts to suspect his own brother Ryu Sung Joon. He asks his hot-headed brother, “Maybe there’s a different reason why you became a cop.”

Ryu Sung Joon then gets involved in physical altercations and ignites with fury when a suspect attempts to hurt Ryu Sung Hoon in court. Meanwhile, someone strangles Jo Eun Ki as she accuses them, “You’re no human. You’re a monster.” The clip ends with a tense war of nerves between the brothers as Ryu Sung Hoon asks Ryu Sung Joon, “Did you kill Baek Ji Eun?”

Blind is penned by Keun Ki Kyung and directed by producing director (PD) Shin Yong Hwi of sci-fi kdrama Tunnel and Voice 4. The thriller drama premieres on September 16 at 10:40 p.m. KST. Watch the teaser trailer below!

Actress Ileana D’Cruz has earned a name for herself by giving hits in South Indian regional films as well as Bollywood. And, it seems like the talented actress is now all set to mark her debut in web series too. Yes! You read it right. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that Ileana D’Cruz will soon make her web series debut.

Interestingly, the Happy Ending actress signed Applause Entertainment’s next female-led show, which will be led by The Fame Game director Karishma Kohli. The yet-to-be-titled series is said to have a unique concept. Applause Entertainment will produce this upcoming series in association with BBC Studios India. The title and details of the cast are still under wraps. The makers' duo of the forthcoming web series has already successfully adapted global hits like Criminal Justice, The Office, Guilt and Luther for Indian audiences in the past.

Talking about the project, the upcoming web series will mark the 35-year-old actress’ first project in the lead role. Ileana was last seen in the Abhishek Bachchan starrer The Big Bull, which was released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The actress has two films lined up for release this year Tera Kya Hoga Lovely with Randeep Hooda and the tentatively titled Lovers, which is a romantic-comedy, co-starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy.

On September 6, ahead of their film Brahmastra's release, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were stopped from entering the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. As the activists formed a large group to stop Bhatt and Kapoor from entering the Temple, director Ayan Mukerji went ahead alone to seek the blessings. Now, speaking about the episode in a press conference in Delhi, Mukerji came forward.

Interestingly, the Brahmastra stars were asked to share their mind on actors hurting public sentiments, and why people, who have taken the boycott call should watch the film. Standing in defence of them, Ayan took the call and said, “In MP, I felt really bad honestly that Ranbir and Alia did not come with me to darshan at Mahakaleshwar. There's a history to it. I had gone there before my motion poster had released and I had told myself that before the release of the film, I would definitely go there.”

The Wake Up Sid director further added, “Both of them were very keen to come with me. And honestly, till the end, they were keen. But when we reached there and heard about the protest, I felt let me go alone. Eventually, I had gone to seek blessings for the film and that is for everyone. I just didn't want to take Alia there in her current condition.”

Countering the second question that why people, who have taken the boycott call should watch the film, the 39-year-old filmmaker stated that once the movie releases, people will realise it is rooted in Indian culture. He asserted, “With Brahmastra, there is a line- let the light come. And by that, I mean everything that is positive and spiritual in this life. With the whole marketing thing of this film, my aim is that we must only spread positivity because that is what the whole world needs.

Concluding his opinion, Mukerji added, “This film is so much celebration of Indian culture, so deeply and naturally, I feel every single person is going to feel that when it releases in two days. So yes, that positive energy of the film will touch people.”

Brahmastra is slated to release on September 9. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the ensemble cast of the upcoming film also includes Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It will be the first instalment of a planned trilogy.

The 39th birthday of Bollywood actress Katrin Kaif grabbed headlines for many reasons. While many reports claimed that Katrina will announce her pregnancy, it was actress Ileana D’Cruz’s presence in Kat’s birthday post that distracted everyone. As soon as Katrina shared the inside pictures of her 39th birthday, many speculated that Ileana is dating Katrina’s brother Sebastian.

Clearing everyone's doubt for once and all, filmmaker Karan Johar has confirmed the rumour in the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 7. The latest episode of KWK sees Phone Bhoot star cast, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter.

While speaking about Kaif’s birthday photos, Johar mentioned Ileana’s connection with the Kaif family and said, “We don’t have to confirm that.” He then added, “On a Maldives trip some images came out and I was doing the math in my head. I said ‘okay I saw these two meet for the first time in front of me at a party’ and I’m like ‘that moved fast as well’.” In response to Karan’s remark, the actress couldn’t help but laugh.

For the unversed, in July, an ETimes report stated that Sebastian and Ileana had been spending time together sparking rumours of the two dating. Additionally, it was stated that by July, the couple will have been dating for around six months. They frequently hang out in Katrina Kaif's former Bandra apartment, according to the report. They also visit Ileana's home, which is located in Bandra, as well as London.

In just a few days, the much-anticipated film Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt will hit the theatres. While the fans are excited to see their favourite pair on screen, the lead stars, director Ayan Mukerji has made a special announcement for the fans.

Alia shared a video from the special preview of Brahmastra on Tuesday, which was kept for the crew of the film. Ayan, Ranbir and Alia then announced that they will hold a special fan preview of Brahmastra on September 8, a day prior to the film’s release.

S.S Rajamouli presents Brahmāstra - Part One: Shiva in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is on a signing spree. Following his special appearance in the Marvel series Ms. Marvel, the actor has now announced his next project Money Back Guaranteed starring alongside former cricketer Wasim Akram. The first poster was unveiled on Tuesday.

Sharing the poster on his Instagram, he wrote, “Unveiling the first look of our next movie “Money Back Guarantee – MBG”.

Starring Fawad Khan, Wasim Akram, Shaniera Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Omar, Javed Sheikh, Jan Rambo, Gohar Rasheed, Hina Dilpazir, Shayan Khan, Mani, Kiran Malik, Ali Safina, Marhoom Ahmad Bilal, Adnan Jaffer, Shafaat Ali and Aqdas Waseem, the film is helmed by Faisal Qureshi. The teaser will be unveiled on September 9, 2022. It hits the theatres on April 21, 2023.

On the work front, Fawad Khan will headline the Pakistani magnum opus The Legend of Maula Jatt, starring Mahira Khan. The film is all set to arrive in theatres on October 13. Featuring Fawad as Maula Jatt and Mahira as Mukkho, the Punjabi-language film is a remake of the 1979 classic Maula Jatt. It also stars Hamza Ali Abbasi.

While Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin have been doing individual projects of late, the fans of the couple were thrilled to see them reunite for a music video yet again. Taking some lines from the popular 70s chartbuster ‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne’, ‘Sajaunga Lut Kar’ is a peppy romantic number featuring both the actors. The song released earlier this week and needless to say, JasLy fans are showering their love upon them. Recently, Aly too spoke about reuniting with his real life love Jasmin and he also expressed his desire to share screen space with her for any OTT content.

Speaking about the song, describing ‘Sajaunga Lut Kar’, Aly said, “The song is beautiful. Coming together of Ganesh Acharya, a great choreographer, and Shaan & Neeti Mohan’s voices make it a perfect package. Also, the song has been shot differently from the other songs, and the rain sequence gives a movie feel.” For the uninitiated, the track was shot in Mumbai.

He also shared his feelings about the kind of response he has been receiving from JasLy fans, saying, “I feel happy that fans get what they expect from us though it takes time. The response has been great and the song is already trending on YouTube. Fans love to see us together all the time, and that gives us immense pleasure.”

The best part of shooting with Jasmin, according to Aly, is that their chemistry is amazing. “She’s a great actor and our chemistry is visible on camera. This is our fourth song together. Our previous three songs were ‘2 Phone’, ‘Tu Bhi Sataya Jayega’ and ‘Tera Suit’ have got good reviews. Chemistry is the most important thing that is shown on camera. Of course, we also had a blast shooting together,” he says.

We wonder if there is any possibility of Jasmin and him teaming up for a TV or OTT project. To the same, he replied, “I don't know about TV, but if there's a good script for OTT I would love to do it. It depends on the subject. We are having our individual careers going on too.”

In a recent event attended by Uorfi Javed, the reality show contestant expressed her displeasure with the media and angrily lashed out at them for commenting on her clothes. The media questioned her about her look when she attended the launch event of Sunny Leone and Remo D’Souza song ‘Naach Baby’ in a backless olive green dress, representing her unique style. However, when the actress was seen in a much subtler outfit at the recent Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa bash, that didn’t match her usual dressing sense, the media questioned her regarding it. However, it seems that it irked Uorfi, who later lashed out at the media stating that they don’t respect her even when she treats them with respect.

In a recent video, where Uorfi Javed was seen posing for paparazzi at the Sunny Leone event ‘Naach Baby’. She said, “Guys I am not coming here for this. Tumhein agar comment karna hai na toh apni girlfriend aur maa-behen ke ghar pe jaake karo. Mere kapdon pe koi comment nahi karega. (If you want to comment, go to your girlfriend or mother or sister’s house to comment on them. No one will comment on my clothes anymore.) One more comment from any one of you and that’s it. I give you guys so much respect and this is what I am getting back?”

She went on to recall about how one of the media personnel passed a comment on her clothes when she attendd the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa bash. She said, “Jab mein Jhalak mein aayi thi, tum mein se hi ek banda comment kar raha hai ki main dhank ke kapde pehen ke aayi thi. (When I attended Jhalak, one of the people from you guys, commented that I had worn decent clothes that day).”

Following a banger release with ODDINARY and a world tour, South Korean powerhouse Stray Kids is all set for a solid comeback with the new album MAXIDENT.  The official announcement was made on September 6 at midnight with a trailer.

In the trailer, Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N take over the city in what seems like their rebellious nature. The album's title is unique and MAXIDENT means, "An accident of the largest proportion."

Back in May 2022, Stray Kids’ EP ODDINARY, which was released on March 18, became the band’s second million-seller, following their second studio album ‘Noeasy’ last year. ODDINARY recorded around 1.3 million copies in pre-orders and sold 853,021 copies in its first week of release, according to album sales tracker Hanteo Chart.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama in April 2022 about how massive the response has been to their previous album, Bang Chan said, "I honestly still can’t believe it. I still have a hard time trying to accept that we’ve come this far. But one thing for sure is that all this was possible because of my beautiful members and our precious STAYs. And without thinking about specific goals we just focus on our own pace because as long as we do our best with what we’re doing right now beautiful results are bound to come naturally in the future."

MAXIDENT will release on October 7, 2022.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the big screen next year. He is headlining three projects - Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Following his cameos in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Laal Singh Chaddha and his upcoming appearance in Brahmastra, the superstar will also be seen in Salman Khan starter Tiger 3 after the latter appears in Pathaan. For the same, SRK will be shooting a special sequence later this month.

According to the report in ETimes, Shah Rukh Khan will be shooting his special appearance in September for Tiger 3. While SRK is busy with Jawan, Salman is shooting Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Both the stars will come together for Yash Raj Films' spy universe.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Tiger 3 brings Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif back as Tiger and Zoya. It is being helmed by Maneesh Sharma and will release in theatres on April 21, 2023.

Comedian Kapil Sharma paid a tribute to late singer Mohammad Rafi during his show in Melbourne. Kapil took to his verified Instagram handle and shared a video, in which he is seen singing Mohammad Rafi's song ‘Parda Hai Parda' from the movie, Amar Akbar Anthony. For the unversed, Kiku Sharda, Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek are currently in Australia.

In the video, Kapil was heard singing, ‘Shabab Pe Main Zara Si Sharab Phekunga Kisi Hasin Ki Taraf Ye Gulaab Phekunga’. In the middle of his performance, he requested the audience to give a huge round of applause for Mohammad Rafi while mentioning that the late playback singer belonged to Amritsar.

As soon as the comedian resumed singing, the audience erupted in cheers and applause. Meanwhile, the digital screen behind him showed him singing and glimpses of the audience sitting there. Captioning the video with one-word, Sharma wrote, “Just” followed by a folding-hand emoticon.

On the professional front, Kapil Sharma is gearing up for the return of his popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, on TV. It will go on air from September 10. Actor Akshay Kumar will be seen as the first celebrity guest in the show. Apart from this, Sharma also has a Nandita Das directorial in his kitty. In the upcoming film, titled Zwigato, he will play the character of a food delivery executive.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is busy with several projects. While he is headlining three films next year, the actor is also busy producing and working on several projects under his production house Red Chillies Entertainment. While he may not star in every content that the production house produces, the plan is to generate some great stories. In the latest update, the production house has reportedly acquired the remake and negative rights of Dulhe Raja which originally starred Govinda, Kader Khan & Raveena Tandon. Adding to that, Farhad Samji is penning the script.

As per a report in a media portal, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment has acquired the blanket rights of the film. Pinkvilla reports, “The satellite and digital rights also rest with SRK and his company that would now sell it to the partners and reap rich returns from renewal of licence.” While Farhad Samji is busy with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, he has been advised to create a draft of the screenplay while retaining the essence of Dulhe Raja but also keeping it modern in terms of storytelling. Depending on the screenplay, the makers will eventually take a call on approaching an A-list actor for the lead role. If the adaptation looks intriguing and the actors are keenly interested, then the production house will move forward with the remake. If not, then they will anyway generation revenue through the rights for digital and television screenings.

Dulhe Raja, helmed by Harmesh Malhotra, also starred Mohnish Behl, Johnny Lever, Prem Chopra and Asrani. The film was released in 1998.

A while back, the Ronnie Screwvala-led production house, RSVP hand announced their next venture that would feature Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. The film based on Air Force pilot Tejas Gill was to release on Dussehra on October 5, 2022. In fact, team Tejas had even made an announcement of the same. However, now we hear that the Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas directed by Sarvesh Mewara will be delayed.

Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama a source close to the development confirmed that the release of Tejas has been pushed saying, “Tejas was to release in October. However, since the film is very VFX there is still quite a bit of work pending. However, the work pending isn’t much yet it will still take a while. So to avoid doing a rushed job on the film, it was decided to defer the release date.” Ask for details on the new date being planned for the release of Tejas and the source continues, “Right now the makers are looking at a release in either December 2022 or January 2023. However, no one single date has been locked as yet.”

The film, Tejas which will honour our brave hearts in the armed forces is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara. Starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role of Tejas Gill, the film will feature a story that is meant to inspire and make one feel proud of our brave soldiers as they face a number of challenges to keep our country safe.
