Directed by Danish Renzu, Songs of Paradise is a 2025 Hindi-language biographical musical drama that has been streaming on Amazon Prime Video since August 29. The film, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Shafat Qazi and Danish Renzu under Excel Entertainment, tells the inspiring story of a Kashmiri woman who dreams of becoming a singer, drawing inspiration from the life and legacy of Raj Begum — the Melody Queen of Kashmir and recipient of the Padma Shri and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards.
Saba Azad features in the lead role, alongside Soni Razdan, Zain Khan Durrani, Taaruk Raina, Lillete Dubey, Sheeba Chaddha, Shishir Sharma and Lalit Parimoo. The film’s screenplay, penned by Renzu and Sunayana Kachroo with dialogues by Niranjan Iyengar, has been praised for its emotional depth.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan has been keeping busy on the professional front as well. The actor is stepping into the web-space as a producer with his banner HRX Films, backing his first series Storm. The project stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rama Sharma and Ashish Vidyarthi, and promises an intense, character-driven narrative.
With Songs of Paradise earning critical acclaim and Hrithik’s new venture on the horizon, both stars are clearly shining bright — on and off the screen.
