Kriti Sanon remains positive amid Adipurush backlash; says Focusing on the cheers and claps
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's highly anticipated film, Adipurush, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons since its release on June 16. The movie, helmed by director Om Raut, was initially surrounded by immense hype and anticipation. However, it soon found itself embroiled in a web of controversies, ranging from calls for boycott to death threats and even bans on the film. Despite the turbulent situation, Kriti Sanon has decided to remain focused on the positive aspects and has expressed her gratitude for the support she has received.
Amid the ongoing backlash, Kriti Sanon took to her verified social media handle on Monday and shared a series of video clips that showcased the audience's reactions while watching the film on the big screen. The snippets captured the exhilaration of the viewers, who can be seen cheering and applauding during pivotal moments of the film. Captioning the post, Sanon wrote, "Focusing on the cheers and claps!" along with, "Jai Siya Ram."
Adipurush, an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana, features Prabhas in the role of Raghav and Kriti as Janaki. Despite the initial backlash, Adipurush has managed to hold its ground and perform well at the ticket counters, bolstered by the support of loyal fans.

Reportedly, during a press conference in Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Raj Shekhawat, National President of Kshatriya Karni Sena, allegedly made a threatening statement. He reportedly stated that if they get their hands on the director, they will harm him. Furthermore, there were reports of plans to assemble a team in Mumbai, acquire weapons, and locate and kill the director. In the same press conference, Indal Singh Rana, a member of the group, reportedly issued a threat directed towards Manoj Muntashir, the dialogue writer of the movie.
