Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli are the latest celebrities who have received the invitation for the Ram Mandir. They have received the invite for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The ceremony will take place on January 22, 2024. Sachin Tendulkar and former India captain MS Dhoni have also been invited.

Several industry biggies have received their invitation over the past few weeks. Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Hariharan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Hariharan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Yash, Hema Malini and Randeep Hooda have also received invitation to attend the ceremony.

General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai said the new temple will be open to the public from January 23. “The Pran Prathishtha is expected to conclude by 1 pm. PM Modi and others present will express their thoughts after the ceremony. As per tradition, gifts in 1000 baskets have come from Nepal’s Janakpur and areas of Mithila. Comedian-actor Vir Das recently lauded a cabin crew member from IndiGo who confronted a passenger assaulting a pilot due to a 13-hour flight delay. In his initial tweet, Vir Das praised the IndiGo staff member, stating, "Shoutout to the lady from Indigo cabin crew who stood up to that idiot like a boss." However, an online user responded, suggesting Vir try traveling in economy class to understand the frustration. To this, the comedian retorted, revealing that he regularly travels in the economy.

For the unversed, the incident unfolded due to dense fog in Delhi, affecting operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and causing diversions, cancellations, and delays. The unruly incident occurred on IndiGo flight number 6E 2175, traveling between Delhi and Goa, where a passenger, Sahil Kataria, assaulted the co-pilot, Anup Kumar, upon hearing about the delay in take-off at the Delhi airport. The assailant was promptly arrested, and a viral video captured the episode. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Despite the challenging circumstances caused by the fog, the IndiGo flight eventually departed from Delhi at 6 pm, more than 10 hours later than scheduled, according to flight tracking website flightradar24.

Balaji Motion Pictures is gearing up for their next with Vikir Films, titled, The Sabarmati Report starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra. The film is inspired by true events that took place in the Sabarmati Express on the morning of 27 February 2002, near the Godhra railway station in the Indian state of Gujarat, in The Sabarmati Report.

Last month, the screen sharing issues over Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki and Prabhas-starrer Salaar became the talk of the town. Bollywood Hungama was the first to report the viral news that Salaar makers had decided to pull their film from PVR Inox and Miraj properties in the South after they accused the multiplex chains of ‘unfair trade practice’. A few hours later, thanks to the impact of the article, all parties renegotiated the deal. It was expected that show-sharing would take place. Alas, it didn’t happen. Instead, exhibitors were asked to play either of the two films. As a result, some opted for Dunki while others decided to play Salaar. However, what unfolded in the Telugu industry over the last few days is much more shocking than Salaar vs Dunki screen sharing fight.

On Monday, the exhibition sector across the country got a shock when the famous Prasads Multiplex, Hyderabad cancelled nearly sold-out shows of Hanuman and replaced them with that of Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram. The social media was abuzz with pictures of the famous theatre’s booking page. Earlier, Hanuman had 15 shows and later, the 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm and 7:50 pm shows of Hanuman were cancelled. Meanwhile, Guntur Kaaram was earlier playing in 7 shows. Later on, it got four more shows. A similar scenario was also reported in other centres in Telangana.

An exhibition source told us, “It’s unheard of to see a show, which is nearly house full, being replaced by shows of a film which is not doing as well. This is unacceptable and it would have been understandable if Guntur Kaaram had a huge demand too. However, it hasn’t performed as per expectations while shows of Hanuman are full everywhere. The demand for it is crazy and yet, it’s getting a raw deal.”

Another exhibition insider commented, “Theatres have the power to reduce or increase shows. But this happens as per the demand and supply usually. In an ideal scenario, Hanuman’s shows should have increased while that of Guntur Kaaram should have reduced since the latter is a crowd-puller. But in this scenario, the opposite has happened.”

On Saturday, January 13, a complaint was filed with the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) by Hanuman’s makers alleging unfair theatre practices. TFPC released a statement stating that Mythri Movies Distributors LLP (the distributor) had made an agreement with some theatres in Telangana to screen Hanuman from January 12. But some theatres did not honour the agreement and failed to show the film. Hence, the distributor and producer, Niranjan Reddy, filed a complaint with the TFPC.

The statement remarked that “The theatres did not screen the movie Hanuman as per the agreement. The distributors and producers suffered huge losses. So these theatres must immediately start showing the movie Hanuman and bear the loss so far”. It also said that “Such moves affect the entire Telugu film industry which runs based on faith, morality and justice”.

Hanuman and Guntur Kaaram were not the only Telugu releases during the Sankranthi festival week. Venkatesh-starrer Saindhav released on January 13 while Nagarjuna-starrer Naa Saami Ranga arrived in cinemas on January 14. Hanuman, nevertheless, has emerged as the dark horse as it collected more than Rs. 50 crores in four days and is set for a huge run. Even in Hindi, it has performed beyond expectations.

Meanwhile, On Tuesday, January 16, Prasads Multiplex is playing just 6 shows of Hanuman while Guntur Kaaram has been provided with 8 shows. Interestingly, on Wednesday, January 17, the situation will be reversed as the modern mythological entertainer will have as many as 10 shows while the Trivikram-directorial has been allotted only 6 shows.

The director meticulously recreated the drama at Mumbai's SRPF Grounds, skillfully designed by art director Rajat Poddarr. The intricate aerial choreography, a result of collaboration between action directors Oh Se Yeong and Parvez Shaikh, brought authenticity to Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania's leadership in the airstrike.

According to Mid-day, a source revealed, “Since their starting point was a real-life air strike, the art department took references from pictures of the real location, and then made creative changes. They had to depict the air strike taking place over a snow-clad town that houses the enemy facility. So, they built the set of a town over five acres of land at the SRPF ground, and for the close-up shots, used a particular chemical, which when mixed with water, gives the impression of snow. For the wide-angle shots, the production design team used salt to depict snow.”

The source added, “The entire set took a month to build, after which Siddharth and the actor filmed the scene in April 2023. The sequence sees Hrithik’s character lead the mission as his team and he fly Mirage 2000s over the terrorist camp and demolish it.”

The film rewrote the new meaning of its success at the box office and collected more than Rs. 50 crores. 12th Fail, based on a true story, draws from the struggles of the millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam. But at the same time, it goes beyond that one exam and encourages people to not lose heart in the face of failure and to restart.

Agastya Nanda, son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda and grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, made his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s musical The Archies. He stepped into the limelight with his debut as Archie Andrews alongside newcomers Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Mendra. Mihir Ahuja had prior experience in OTT space. Released on Netflix on December 7, 2023, the film had mixed reactions from the audience and critics. Agastya, acknowledging the criticism, has expressed his thoughts on the same.

In an interview with The Film Companion, Agastya Nanda reacted to the reactions saying, “Honestly, I didn’t know how to deal with it. When you are not prepped in this area, you don’t know that many people have many opinions. And that’s okay, you must have your opinion but I didn’t know what was going on. Some people hated it, some people liked it, some people were indifferent to it and that’s ok.”

He believes that The Archies didn’t work on some levels and he is okay with that. It was his first project and he plans to work hard in the future. “On some levels, it didn’t work and that’s ok. It’s my first try and I am going to work hard and get back up, try for the second and if that doesn’t work then try for the third and then the fourth but to get to that realization took me some time,” said the actor.

Reflecting on the opportunity, he added, “I made six lovely friends, I got brilliant exposure. I got to showcase myself on a huge platform. I was grateful, it's ok, people would kill for this opportunity. I shouldn’t sit here and feel low about it. I gave it my best and I’ll keep giving it my best.”

When spoken about his uncle Abhishek Bachchan, who had also faced similar criticism in his early years, Agastya was informed that his ‘mama’ would put up posters of negative reviews on his wall. But, Agastya said that it was a bit too dark for him. “I think everyone has to do it. I don’t put up negative things because why keep reminding yourself of it. Be aware of it, don’t be ignorant. I did learn. I just watched the film and see what’s happening and I just watched where I can improve, like any person in any field would do. Obviously, when you look at it I was like ‘Oh God what was I doing there, why did I say’ but I am not putting anything up on my wall. It’s a bit too dark,” he said.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, already tied the knot with her long-time partner, Nupur Shikhare. After signing the papers in Mumbai, the couple held a grand wedding celebration in Udaipur where they got married following the Christian ceremony. The couple, who got engaged last year, signed their wedding certificate earlier in January 2024 and had traditional festivities and nuptials. The families have been radiating love and excitement. At the wedding party, Aamir was dancing his heart out to ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ with his nephew Imran Khan.

In one of the videos, Aamir Khan was grooving to the beats of ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ from his 1988 film Ghulam. The actor was joined by his nephew Imran Khan, his extended family and other guests. He was also seen dancing to ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ with the guests too.

The actor recently opened up about Ira Khan’s wedding and said, “My emotion was like a shehnai. It’s an instrument which is actually played in shaadis. Shehnai mein ek quality hoti hai ki wo aapko thodi si khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi si udaasi bhi deti hai. Uska ek mixture hota hai emotions ka. Khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi se udaasi bhi hoti hai (Shehnai has a quality that it gives you happiness and a little bit of sadness. It’s a mixture of emotions. Makes you happy and sad both). So, that’s my emotion.”

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has heaped praises on Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Sharing a series of photos from their recent meet, the director called Vanga the ‘most misunderstood’, ‘judged’ and ‘reviled’ filmmaker at the moment.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has penned a long note to praise Vikrant Massey starrer 12th Fail. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film was released last year and is considered one of the best movies of 2023. It also became a sleeper hit.

 Anurag Kashyap wrote on Instagram, “Probably the best mainstream film I’ve seen in 2023 @vidhuvinodchoprafilms at the age of 71 has crafted a masterpiece out of a simple story of an adamant man wanting to be more than what life gives him. He goes and takes what he wants and how.”

“What amazed me about the film is how he breaks all conventions of mainstream and has scenes done in simple long shots.. the crowd scenes of Mukherji nagar which feels like the camera just happened to watch the story unfold without disturbing the atmosphere . It just felt like we were fly on the wall witnessing the film unfold . The sparse background score, something that mainstream cinema always shows from. The faith the filmmaker has in himself and his actors and his storytelling that he doesn’t use the BGM to manipulate the audience or the emotions,” Kashyap added.

The filmmaker further said, “A filmmaker at the peak of his storytelling and at this age . Means I have hope too. A new benchmark has been set by VVC for filmmakers like me who have been feeling a bit lost. Kudos to the whole team who I don’t know and all the actors. Especially @vikrantmassey @medhashankr @anshumaan_pushkar @anantvjoshi and the cinematographer Ranga , the production designer and the music directors and writers . I have met Manoj and I’ve read the book but I never could have seen it how VVC saw it. It’s on HotStar and a must watch. Filmmaker Vasan Bala is directing Alia Bhatt in an upcoming movie Jigra. The film is her co-production, under her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions, with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Bala recently revealed the reason behind joining forces with Karan on this particular project.

In a recent interview with The Week, Vasan Bala said, “I was neither inspired nor begrudged by Johar’s films, as we are different types of storytellers. Somen Mishra asked me to meet Karan and when I did, it was refreshing to see someone who didn’t come with an approach that he’s a big producer and I could either take his script or leave it. He asked me what I liked to make. I was convinced this would be an equal creative collaboration, he’s backed me and he’s letting me run with it.”

In the same interview, Karan Johar revealed that once Bala told him that he fell asleep while watching Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. “Selecting Vasan was exciting for us because he hasn’t really loved my previous work as a director. He told me he fell asleep watching Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. I’m not here for everyone to love everything I do. But I loved his honesty.”

With Jigra, Alia Bhatt collaborates with Karan Johar for the 12th time. She made her debut with Student of the Year under Karan's direction and banner. The makers of Don 3 are busy with the casting of the film’s new characters which will be headlined by Ranveer Singh in the iconic role. Farhan Akhtar further said that he is ready to take the legacy forward with an actor whose talent and versatility he admires. Farhan said, “The time has now come to take the legacy of Don forward and joining us in this new interpretation will be an actor whose talent and versatility I have long admired. We hope that you will show him the love you have so graciously and generously shown to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. A new era of Don begins in 2025.”

Speaking to Deadline in December 2023, Ranveer Singh said, “I’m hoping to make Don my own and give it my spin, my interpretation. It is the handing over of the baton of one of the most loved and revered franchises of Hindi cinema. The significance of that is not lost on me. When the announcement was made, as expected, it came with its share of skepticism. But throughout the history of cinema, this has happened. Even as recently as perhaps when the Bond franchise changed hands and they announced Daniel Craig as the new Bond, it came with its fair share of scepticism. So, this is only natural.”

The 1978 version of Don was headlined by Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role as Don and Vijay. The film was written by Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar and helmed by Chandra Barot. Farhan Akhtar then directed by Don in 2007 with Shah Rukh Khan in the double role and a sequel in 2011. Talking about the third installment, Ranveer said “Taking the baton forward in this franchise and continuing the legacy of two of our greatest superstars – the significance of that is not lost on me. So, I will give it my best shot and you will see the very best of me and I will put my best foot forward for Don undoubtedly.”

After the massive success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is set to embark on his next venture, collaborating with director Nitesh Tiwari for the epic Ramayana, alongside Sai Pallavi. The actor is slated to commence filming in Mumbai on March 2, with an additional schedule planned for April and May 2024. The anticipation surrounding this cinematic spectacle is heightened.

According to a report in Mid-Day, a source revealed, “The cast and crew were recently informed that March 2 is the big day. Nitesh sir has charted out a long schedule in Film City. In the first part of the leg, Ranbir and Sai will shoot the dialogue-heavy scenes. The major crowd sequences, including some war portions, will be shot in April and May. The idea is to wrap these scenes before the monsoons hit the city.”

Director Nitesh Tiwari and VFX powerhouse DNEG have collaborated extensively, investing months in crafting the mythological universe for their upcoming epic. The pre-production phase involved intricate look tests and 3D mapping sessions with the cast. Ranbir Kapoor will fly to Los Angeles in February for crucial technical rehearsals at the DNEG office. The source added, “In the first few weeks of the shoot, the makers will also be flying down expert technicians from Los Angeles to help them get familiar with the process.”

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan was honoured as the Indian of the Year 2023, acknowledging his stellar contributions to cinema with blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan, along with the success of Dunki. In a poignant 10-minute speech in New Delhi on Wednesday night, Khan shared insights into his journey over the last few years, reflecting on both triumphs and challenges. Following his speech, Shah Rukh Khan had the sweetest interaction with legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam, with whom SRK had worked on Dil Se. It gave the iconic song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ which is now synonymous with SRK.

Mani Ratnam was also honoured with the Indian of the Year 2023 award. The interaction between SRK and Mani was hilarious. As News18 reported, he said, “Mani sir, what now? It’s all come out in the open now. I’m requesting you – I’m begging you – I’m telling you every time! Do a film with me, I swear, I will dance on top of a plane on ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’, if you’d tell me.”

To this, Mani Ratnam said that he would work with Shah Rukh Khan if he bought a plane. To this, SRK quipped, “Mani, the way my films are going…this plane is not far away. I’m coming!”

We would party in the night, play antakshari, and play dumb charades. So, that was like one picnic. That was really-really fun.”

However, due to the strictness of her mother and her boyfriend, she never really experienced the crazy parties. “But I had this Rishi Kapoor as my boyfriend. So, I never partied-partied. Because he was always like, yeh nahi karna, woh nahi karna, ghar aajao (don't do this, don't do that, come home). So, I’ve never seen that wild side of partying in those days,” she added.

Recalling his cancer treatment in New York, Neetu told Karan, “So Karan for me, I don't like to remember the sad part. I like to remember the good part of our relationship and of our time in New York. So New York was really sad, but we had the best year, I had the best year of my life.”

She added, "Because you know Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) is a very loving person. He had a lot of love in him. But there was something he never really showed his love. He always kept his distance and bullying people, not show his love. Especially with me and my children, he was like a big thing. Respect and all and with that he lost out on a lot with his children. He was never a friend to them."

She said, “But that year, he opened up. He showed love, went towards me also he was so lovely. We had the best time.”

In an interview given by Divya to Bollywood Hungama years ago, the actress turned filmmaker opened up about how fraternity members, including Salman Khan, were left enchanted by the beauty of India and the secret was ‘virgin locations’!

Revealing about choosing India over foreign locales, Divya Khosla Kumar told Bollywood Hungama, “As an Indian filmmaker, I always believe in bringing out the best from my country. When I sat down and researched on the location I want to shoot in, I wanted to discover virgin locations and show to the people of India that we have as much beauty in our country as any other. They don’t have to just run away to Switzerland or for that matter any other country to shoot a film.”

Adding about discovering a unique location situated in the North-Eastern state of Sikkim, Divya continued, “So, I discovered this large chain in the north of Sikkim, which was extremely difficult to reach very bad infrastructure, but if you reach there, it will almost like heaven. It was so beautiful.”

Divya also revealed how filmmakers were left impressed by its beauty and were keen on knowing the location. “A lot of filmmakers are coming up to me and asking me which places and where have you shot? Like for example, yesterday Salman Khan was asking me, ‘Which place is this?’ So, you know there's been so many compliments pouring in. I think that scrutiny, hard work and the detailing to find the right location has worked.”

Yaariyan also starred, Himansh Kohli, Dev Sharma, Vedish, Evelyn Sharma, Serah Singh, Shreyas Pardiwalla, among others and was produced under the banner T-Series.

Salman Khan and Sunny Deol, who shared the screen 27 years ago in Jeet, are set for a reunion in the film Safar. After the success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has been immersed in his upcoming project. Recent reports indicate Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in the movie, marking their on-screen collaboration after nearly three decades. Scheduled to shoot his part this week, Salman's cameo adds anticipation to the film, creating excitement among fans who look forward to witnessing the duo once again.

According to a report in Mid-Day, “The Tiger 3 star will shoot with Paaji later this week. Salman reportedly has a cameo in Sunny’s next, Safar, for which the two actors are expected to film their scenes together this Friday and Saturday at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. Salman will be playing himself in the Vishal Rana production venture.”

Hema Malini, the iconic Bollywood actress and politician, will be launching the authorised biography of legendary filmmaker, lyricist, and poet Gulzar on January 9. The biography, titled Gulzar Saab: Hazara Rahein Mudke Dekhin, is written by National Award-winning author Yatindra Mishra. 

It chronicles Gulzar's life and career, from his early days as a poet to his success as a filmmaker and lyricist. He has compiled his interactions over 15 years with Gulzar in the book. Other guests at the launch included Sahitya Akademi award-winning writer and poet Sheen Kaaf Nizam, and filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

A report by ANI, quoted publisher Arun Maheshwari saying, “Gulzar Saab: Hazara Rahein Mud Ke Dekhin... will open alleys of learnings and stories about the master craftsman Gulzar saab. Yatindra has done a commendable work in delicately compiling his interactions with the legend.” In addition to this, the CEO of the group, Aditi Maheshwari believes that this book will contribute poetic continuity to the legendary generation of Gulzar to the younger ones. Restaurateur Timmy Narang has confirmed his divorce from actress Isha Koppikar. For weeks, rumours about their separation were rife. However, Narang has now confirmed that not only is the divorce final, but the actress has also moved out of their house with their daughter.

In a statement to ETimes, Timmy Narang said that they were contemplating divorce for one and half years before taking the decision. He said, “The divorce was granted in November last year, and it was on amicable terms. Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact. So, I don’t see why there should be any confusion regarding that. While I haven’t read the latest report, considering the legal option isn’t even an option because the divorce has already come through, it’s as simple as that.”

The source was earlier quoted saying, “The couple parted ways due to compatibility issues, which cropped up a while ago. They tried every bit to save the marriage but didn’t succeed. Isha has moved out of the house and is living separately with their daughter.”

Isha Koppikar married hotelier Timmy Narang in November 2009. They have now parted ways after 14 years of marriage.

A few trusted sources were quick to speculate that Divya is looking forward to getting into the Telugu film industry and doing a unique project. It is said that the film is titled Hero N Heroine, and the first poster of the same may be unveiled on January 16, 2024.

Apart from her acting career, Divya Khosla Kumar is also known as a director and producer in the Indian film industry. If these rumours are true, it will be great for her fans to see Divya don a new character.

Following the tremendous success of the 2018 film Raid, Ajay Devgn will be reuniting with director Rajkumar Gupta as well as producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar for the highly anticipated sequel – Raid 2. The makers took to social media to make this announcement, much to the excitement of Ajay’s fans, and even asserted that it will releasing in the final quarter of this year. Furthermore, the makers also revealed that the film is already going on floors, adding to the anticipation.

Celebrating the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department, Raid 2 yet again will narrate a true case from their books. The makers took to social media to mark the return of the franchise with a first look poster. Although the poster refrained from revealing the look Ajay Devgn will sporting in the film, it featured a caption that read, “The wait is over! Ajay Devgn is back as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik in #Raid2, ready to bring another true case to the big screen on 15th November 2024!. IRS officer Amay Patnaik AKA Ajay Devgn is all set to get a new tip this time! So, are you ready to know whose house will be raided by him this time?”

The shoot has commenced on January 6, and we hear that while it kicked started in Mumbai. It will also be extensively shot in other places like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Readers would be aware that the prequel captivated audiences with its gripping narrative, and now, with the sequel underway, Raid 2 promises even more intensity with double the drama and suspense.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar under their banner T-Series and Panorama Studios, the film will release theatrically on November 15, 2024. Further details on the casting are still awaited.

Rashmika Mandanna, who has been currently shooting in Hyderabad for her much-awaited film Pushpa 2, along with Allu Arjun will be taking some time off her busy schedule to make a quick trip to Mumbai. The reason? To celebrate the humongous success of her recent film Animal, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, which featured her in the role of his wife Gitanjali in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

A source close from the production confirmed the same adding that she has already taken permission for this break as she is keen on attending the bash and celebrating the success of one of the record-breaking films this year. The source revealed, “Rashmika, who has been shooting for a song for her upcoming film Pushpa 2 has taken special permissions from the producers of the film to make a quick trip to Mumbai amidst shoot, to be part of the success party of Animal. She will be flying to Mumbai on Saturday just in time for the party and returning to Hyderabad to resume shoot. Clearly the celebration would have been incomplete without her!”.

Speaking of the success bash, the entire team of the film will be seen hosting celebrations in Mumbai and it is undoubtedly anticipated to be a star-studded affair. And Rashmika's presence is expected to add an extra layer of excitement. Rashmika’s role as Gitanjali seems to have made space in the hearts of many and we hear that the actress will also play an integral role in the sequel to the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, titled Animal Park.

Meanwhile, talking about Pushpa 2, the film will too see her reprise the character of Srivalli and it will also feature Fahadh Faasil in an integral role along with Allu Arjun as the lead. The film is scheduled for release on August 15 this year.

Fighter, which is touted to be one of the biggest releases this year, is garnering eyeballs for the intense chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, who will be coming together for the first time on the big screen, later this month. Ahead of its release, as Deepika turned a year older on January 5, and Hrithik decided to pen a heartfelt wish for his co-star. He was joined by Anil Kapoor, who will also be essaying one of the lead roles in the upcoming Siddharth Anand directorial.

Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram to share a few glimpses of Deepika Padukone from their upcoming aerial actioner, and also penned a long birthday wish for her. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Deepika Padukone! You Truly exemplify the spirit of Fighter with the way you persevere through every challenge and setback on your way to victory. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you - wishing you health, happiness and peace for this year and all the years to come.” He concluded it by wishing her in true-blue ‘Patty’ style as he added, “Soar High, Sqaud Leader Minal Rathore.” For the unversed, Deepika plays the role of an Squadron Leader of the Indian Air Force by the same name in the upcoming entertainer. On the other hand, Hrithik will be essaying the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania.

Further, Anil Kapoor, who will be playing Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky also took to the platform to share his birthday wish for Padukone as he wrote, “Many Many happy returns of the day. To more and more health and success to you!"

Apart from them, Fighter is also expected to star Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover in key roles and the two actors also wished the actress on her special day. Produced by Viacom18, Fighter is expected to hit the big screens on January 25.

Kangana took to her Instagram stories to share her thoughts on 12th Fail. She wrote, “What a terrific film.. Coming from a Hindi medium myself belonging to a rural village and being a general caste student for entry tests without reservations in my school years, I was weeping through out the film, ufff never cried so much in a flight, my co passengers were stealing concerned glances at me, I am embarrassed.” In the next story she wrote, “Vidhu sir has won my heart all over again. @vikrantmassey is beyond amazing!! 12th Fail, based on a true story, draws from the struggles of the millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam. But at the same time, it goes beyond that one exam and encourages people not to lose heart in the face of failure and to restart.
