This year, the Diwali in Bollywood is being celebrated with ample enthusiasm as several of them turned hosts and planned a star-studded bash at their residence. Among them was Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who had a massive turnout with the who’s who of the industry making it to the event. Amid that, Mrunal Thakur, who has been receiving love in Bollywood as well as South film industry, garnered a lot of attention for her bonding with renowned rapper Badshah.

Rapper Badshah and Mrunal Thakur, who were both guests at the bash, were seen exiting the venue together but what caught the paps’ attention was them holding hands. The photo received a lot of attention from many and gossip mills continued to wonder if something is brewing between the two. However, Badshah seems to have decided to respond to these rumours and ended it by taking to Instagram and clarifying on the same. He posted a note on his story saying, “Dear Internet, Sorry to disappoint you yet again but jaisa aap soch rahe hain waisa nahin hai.”

For the unversed, Rapper Badshah was earlier married to Jasmine Masih and the couple ended their eight-year marriage in 2020. On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur has always stayed silent about her personal life.

On the work front, while Badshah is juggling between playback singing and his albums, Mrunal is shuttling between cities for her Bollywood and South projects. She was last seen in the recently released Ishaan Khatter, Soni Razdan film Pippa and has films like Hi Nanna with Nani and Family Star with Vijay Deverakonda in the pipeline.

A gorgeous shimmer was added to the six-yard wonder by the floral embroidery that ran along the borders. Her OOTD's appeal was mitigated by a beaded V-neck blouse in the same tone. Bhumi's golden princess avatar was enhanced by a red-crystal and stone-studded kundan necklace, dangling earrings, and piled bangles. She added mascara, winged eyeliner, blush, and enough highlighter to her skin before finishing with dazzling golden eyeshadow. She wore a gajra with her hair pulled back in a tight bun.

Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar was recently seen in The Lady Killer alongside Arjun Kapoor. She will be seen next in four films this year including Bhakshak, and Meri Patni Ka Remake.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently had the premiere of her movie The Buckingham Murders. The film is yet to receive a release date. Eklavya featured an enviable cast featuring Saif Ali Khan, his real-life mother Sharmila Tagore - also playing his reel life mother, Vidya Balan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, among others and revolved around the life of a royal family and its skeletons in the closet. The film also marked the collaboration of Amitabh Bachchan and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the latter confessed that the megastar has actually tolerated him and as a token of gratitude, he gifted him a Rolls Royce.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra recalled shooting for the Saif Ali Khan starrer saying, “When we were making Eklavya, Amitabh Bachchan came to the sets with one suitcase for a schedule of two months. I asked, ‘Amit, you travel very light?’ He said, ‘No, Jaya told me ‘more than one week you cannot stand Vinod’.” He went on to appreciate the actor’s dedication and enthusiasm as he completed the 10 days of shoot schedule. He added,  “But because he did not leave and completed the whole film, I gifted him a Rolls Royce worth Rs 4.5 crore, because he tolerated me and did a great work in the film.”

However, in 2019, a report revealed that Amitabh Bachchan had sold the car to a certain Ruhman Khan for approximately Rs. 3.5 crores. However, in the said report it was being said that the megastar had cherished this gift from Chopra and was seen even spotted driving it around in the city.

Coming to the film Eklavya: The Royal Guard, the film released in 2007. It also featured Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Raima Sen, Jimmy Sheirgill, Parikshat Sahani, Pankaj Jha, among others in important roles.

Bigg Boss 17 contestants Aishwarya Sharma annd Neil Bhatt had a major fight in the BB house earlier this week and it seems that during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan addressed the issue. In fact, the superstar host condemned Sharma for disrespecting Neil and schooled her for her behaviour towards her partner. However, followed by these events, Aishwarya confronted Neil and accused him of showcasing a different side to the camera on the show.

Salman Khan told Aishwarya Sharma to control her behaviour towards Neil Bhatt and warned her saying, “Kitna patience aap iska try karogi? Ek din ye phatega, aur aap pe phatega. (Don’t try his patience. He will burst and he will burst on you)”. Although Neil defended Aishwarya, Salman continued to address her attitude problem and even went on to advise her to seek professional help if needbe. “If this is your attitude then you should seriously seek help and if this doesn't help them there are professionals too to help you with anger management," he added and elaborated that he is advising based on personal experiences.

Followed by this schooling session, Aishwarya Sharma confronted Neil Bhatt and said that his behaviour changes in front of the camera. “Main dekh liya tera, tu ghar pe alag hai, here you are totally different. Ghar pe tum mujhpe chillate nahi ho(I can see that you are different at home and different here. Don’t you shout at me at home)? Don't we fight? Yahan pe tu chup ho jata hai because cameras hai (You are quiet here because of the cameras). It is looking like that outside that I am the only villain. Mereko pata hain tu yahi karega, cameras dekhke tu conscious ho jaata hai (I knew you would do this, you become conscious in front of the camera). Further, Aishwarya also revealed that he does this during interviews and she is herself, because of which his image comes across differently. She further went on to cry and wondered what her in-laws would be perceiving of her after looking at all this.

Although Neil tried to calm her down, Aishwarya continued to accuse Neil of changing himself for the show.

The star-studded Diwali bash of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan has been garnering a lot of attention. While it was attended by mostly their close friends and family members, the bash continued to be quite the celebrity event considering the Kapoor and Khan families came together. From Sharmila Tagore, Neetu Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, Soha Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, to Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan among others, several people were present at the bash.

Neetu Kapoor took to the platform to share a photo with her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt, who attended the function with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. Also attending the function was Kareena’s cousins Armaan Jain with wife Anisa, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor and mother Babita, Aadar Jain, among others. Aadar Jain made news after attending the event with an unknown woman after his breakup with actress Tara Sutaria.

Apart from them, Arjun Kapoor, Amrita Arora and her husband Shakeel Ladak, among others also attended the bash.

Shah Rukh Khan is known for his witty sense of humour and we have often seen the superstar showcasing it in his replies to the media. During one of the older interviews way back in 2013, while the Jawan actor was all praises for his colleague and co-actor Aamir Khan, he had opened up about a funny anecdote about how his fellow actor often take time to make a decision. He recalled an incident when they were on a flight together.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen narrating an incident when they were travelling together to the host of the show wherein in he revealed that when they were on the flight together, the steward approached them for their order. While SRK stuck to his usual order of a black coffee, Aamir Khan wanted to order tea. He gave her multiple instructions about tea and adding milk to it but then asked for two more minutes to decide about the ingredients he required in his beverage. While the incident left everyone smiling, adding further, Shah Rukh Khan revealed, “Humare ghar jab aate hain, tab main unhe poochta hoon chai piyoge and keh deta hoon Kal bata dena yaar. Hum ghoom ke aa rahe hain (When he comes to our house and we offer him tea, I tell him, ‘Let me know tomorrow, we’ll go out until then’.”

However, after the funny anecdote, Shah Rukh Khan, with all seriousness, appreciated and showcases his respect towards Aamir Khan. “I’m yet to meet a person who is so conscientious and seriously conscientious about his work,” he said.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are one of the few pairings who have never together for a project together. While SRK did do a small cameo in the recently released Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, fans have been requesting them to do a film together for quite some time now.

Netflix India on Thursday launched the trailer of The Archies, a Zoya Akhtar spectacle produced by Tiger Baby, Graphic India, and Archie Comics, that transports the audience to the whimsical world of 1960s Riverdale, India. The trailer unfolds a musical narrative steering through the retro alleys of love, friendship, and youthful aspirations. The film introduces several new faces including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot and Vedang Raina. Zoya Akhtar talked about the 60s era and the rebellion, peace and love that it represented.

“The ’60s were the time when there was a peace movement, a revolution that happened, and all the Bob Dylan… There was an idealism that we will make the world a better place. That was the era where they believed that they could change the world. There was a bit of rebellion, peace and love. It was also the era of rock ‘n’ roll. So, that whole feeling of that era is what we wanted to bring in. It is a simple young-adult feel-good story,” Zoya Akhtar told PTI in an interview.

Zoya said that the story packs a lot of innocence and nostalgia. “We are the Archie generation and it resonates with us, and people who have read Archies will come in because they love the comic but there are kids today who do not love the comic… We needed to have a strong story and package it in nostalgia and innocence,” she said.

Reema Kagti, who wrote the screenplay with Zoya Akhtar and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, added, “There are a lot of people who don’t know who Archie is or they don’t read Archies anymore… To our generation, it was a different thing. At a time when there was no mobile or TV or OTT, Archie had a different meaning. We are fans (so) you don’t want to mess it up and do injustice to something that you have loved and revered. We had to do the film in a way that it is relevant to everybody.”

Netflix India on Thursday launched the much-anticipated trailer of The Archies, a Zoya Akhtar spectacle produced by Tiger Baby, Graphic India, and Archie Comics, that transports the audience to the whimsical world of 1960s Riverdale, India. The trailer unfolds a musical narrative led by seven charming characters from the beloved Archie comics, steering through the retro alleys of love, friendship, and youthful aspirations. The film introduces several new faces including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot and Vedang Raina.

Talking about casting for the film with Puja Talwar, Reema Kagta said that it was quite a rigorous process. “The credit goes to our casting directors Nandini Shrikent and Karan Mally. They held extensive tests and several rounds of tests before they came to Zoya. We didn’t go with any pre-decided notions that this actor has to be that character. The kids were not given any point of reference and they were tested for all the parts. It is only after four-five rounds when they finally came to Zoya and even after that Zoya sat with them. It was quite a rigorous round of testing and auditioning and I think we have arrived with the best people to play the parts,” Reema Kagti shared.

Zoya Akhtar revealed that she met all the actors in different capacities. She shared, “I think the person who was cast first was Betty and cast last was Archie. I think each one has surprised us in some way or the other. Ethel is a musician. Dot is a musician, and I met her to do the music. I follow her on YouTube, that’s how I know her. I met her because I wanted some of her music for the film. While I was having a conversation with her, I was like, ‘Oh my god, she’s Ethel (Muggs).’ I tested her, and she was great. She was in Wales, and I was in Bombay, so we did the test on Zoom.”

She added, “And there was Mihir who had been cast in Made In Heaven by another director, and I directed him in a dramatic scene. It was a scene where he had to start crying, and I just kept looking at his face and saying he can be Jughead. But I didn’t know if he can do comedy and if he is comedic.”

Zoya shared that Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, was already training to be an actor. She said, “Suhana was already acting. She was in a school in New York. She was training to be an actor, so we knew she wanted to act. Vedang was a model and musician. He did four or five auditions before it came to me. So, they came from all over the place.”

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, in June this year, announced the fifth installment of his hit comedy franchise Housefull. The film is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and is scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024. It is the first comic franchise in India to have a fifth installment. While it is reported to be made on a massive budget, the casting for the same is underway. Meanwhile, the makers plan to take the film on floors in January 2024.

“Housefull is a franchise close to both Akshay and Sajid. They both have cracked a subject that doesn’t just do justice to the world of this mad cap comedy, but also raises the stakes. The core plot is locked and the pre-production is in progress to take the film on floors with the first schedule from January 15,” revealed a source close to the development, as per a report in Pinkvilla.

A source had informed Bollywood Hungama that Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay had approached Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham to sign the film. However, both Abhishek and John had to say no based on date issues. "While they were more than willing to come on board for Housefull 5, they were not able to allot bulk dates for Housefull 5," the source added.

They have also reached out to Riteish Deshmukh as he has been a part of all four installments. The first part of Housefull was released in the year 2010 and starred Akshay, Riteish, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani. The film was declared a hit, followed by another hit sequel Housefull 2 which was released in the year 2012 and included a stellar cast of Akshay, Ritiesh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Asin. Both of the parts were helmed by director Sajid Khan. The third installment saw Akshay, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon, Chunky Pandey, and Jackie Shroff. And the fourth part had Akshay, Riteish, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for the Mudassar Aziz’ comic caper Khel Khel Mein in London. He has wrapped his cameo in Singham Again. Tiger Shroff may have delivered some flops in recent years, however, his mass pull continues to be biggest among the younger generation of actors. His action has a loyal fan base in tier 2 and tier 3 centres, and this aspect is helping him lead some of the biggest action films of Hindi Cinema. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that Tiger Shroff has signed a feature film with producer Anand Pandit and Parag Sanghvi.

According to a source close to the development, Anand Pandit encountered an action-packed script recently and had Tiger in his mind for the same. He pitched it to Tiger, who loved the subject and agreed to come on board. "The film will be directed by Shivam Nair, who is known for Naam Shabana. Shivam has worked with Neeraj Pandey even on his web series, Special Ops. Now he is all set to explore the action genre with Tiger Shroff," the source told Bollywood Hungama.

The film will go on floors in the second half of next year, once Tiger Shroff wraps up shooting for Jackky Bhagnani's Hero No. 1 and Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again. Tiger Shroff is also in talks with multiple filmmakers and will be looking to lock a lineup for 2024 and 2025 soon.

Anand Pandit, and Parag Sanghvi are also very excited to work with Tiger Shroff soon and will move on to the casting once Tiger allots the exact date of the shoot to them.

In a legal development, a Delhi Court has officially granted divorce to renowned singer Honey Singh and his wife, Shalini Talwar, following more than a year of legal proceedings. The divorce was initiated after Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence case against the singer.

Principal Judge (Family Court) Paramjeet Singh, presiding over the case at Saket Court, issued a decree of divorce for the couple. The divorce was granted based on a mutual settlement agreement aimed at resolving all disputes between the two parties.

According to the Hindu Marriage Act, the divorce process includes a second motion, which is initiated after a waiting period of six to 18 months from the date of filing the divorce petition. This waiting period, known as the interregnum, is intended to provide both parties with time and opportunity to reflect on their decision to seek divorce.

Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar were married in January 2011. After 11 years of marriage, they jointly filed a divorce petition under section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act in September 2022. The court accepted their petition, granting a six-month interregnum period.

Ishan Mukherjee, the advocate representing Honey Singh, confirmed to Hindustan Times that the second motion was granted, resulting in the issuance of the divorce decree. However, he declined to comment further, citing the private nature of the matrimonial matter. Vivek Singh, counsel for Shalini Talwar, also refrained from providing comments, highlighting the confidential nature of the issue.

For the unversed, previously, in August 2021, Shalini Talwar had approached the Delhi Tis Hazari Court, filing a case of domestic violence against Honey Singh. The singer responded to these allegations with a social media post, denouncing them as "odious," "false," and "malicious." The release date for Sidharth Malhotra's upcoming action film Yodha has been changed once again, this time to March 15, 2024. The film was originally scheduled to release on December 15, 2023, but was preponed to December 8, 2024, and now to March 15, 2024.

The reason for the latest delay has not been disclosed, but it is speculated that it may be due to avoid clashing with other big-budget films releasing in the last quarter of 2023. A widely circulated video that seemingly portrayed Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna entering an elevator has been exposed as an artificial intelligence (AI) deepfake, raising concerns about the prevalence of deceptive content on social media platforms. While the video appeared highly convincing to the average social media user, close scrutiny reveals telltale signs of manipulation.

This deepfake video has garnered millions of views. Abhishek Kumar, an Indian journalist, undertook the task of tracing the video's origins and, in response to the incident, called for the establishment of new legal and regulatory frameworks to address the dissemination of fake content on the internet. The video in question was originally posted on Instagram on October 8 and featured a woman named Zara Patel. There is currently no evidence linking Patel to the creation of the deepfake video. It remains unclear who crafted the deceptive version or what their motivations were. Nevertheless, this incident underscored a growing trend of fake videos featuring celebrities from various industries, perpetuating false narratives and potentially causing harm.

The journey of Sooryavanshi to its resounding success was nothing short of a heroic saga, spanning 19 months, during which Shetty and his team battled against the odds. When the film was first conceptualized, it was slated for release in March 2020. However, the global pandemic hit, leading to the closure of cinemas across the nation. The fate of the film hung in the balance as its release was postponed indefinitely.

Despite the discouraging circumstances, Shetty remained undeterred. He was determined to bring back the magic of cinema to the silver screen. Sooryavanshi was rescheduled, and the team began the arduous journey of promoting the film amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic's course. The challenges did not end there. As a glimmer of hope emerged in the form of a release date in March 2021, the second wave of the pandemic swept across the nation, causing another delay. This double blow could have broken the spirit of many in the industry, but not Rohit Shetty. He remained resolute in his belief that cinema was not just a form of entertainment but an experience that could not be easily replicated.

Finally, in November, during the auspicious Diwali weekend, Sooryavanshi made its much-anticipated debut. The response was nothing short of overwhelming, with 50% occupancy, the film went onto mint close to Rs 200 crores at the domestic box office within days of its release. The success of Sooryavanshi was not just a personal achievement for Shetty and Kumar, but a collective triumph for the entire industry.

The Black Nights Film Festival, also known as PÖFF (Pimedate Ööde FilmiFestival), is an annual cinematic extravaganza held towards the end of November in the picturesque city of Tallinn, Estonia. It holds an esteemed position as the only FIAPF-accredited competitive feature film festival in Northern Europe. The 27th edition of the Black Nights Film Festival is slated to unfold from November 3rd to 18th, 2023, and it has already started generating excitement within the global film community.

Radhika Madan will join a distinguished panel of jury members, including Nicolas Celis Lopez from Mexico, who serves as the Head of the Jury, along with Ron Fogel from Israel, Diana Ilijane from Germany, and Ran Huang from China. Amid speculations around the casting of Housefull 5, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has issued an official statement requesting media houses to refrain from making any premature announcements. The film is all set to be released during Diwali in 2024.

In June this year, Akshay announced the fifth instalment of his hit comedy franchise Housefull. The film is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and is scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024.

Housefull 5 marks the first-ever franchise film in Indian Cinema to have five instalments. The first part of Housefull was released in the year 2010 and starred Akshay, Riteish, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani. The film was declared a hit, followed by another hit sequel Housefull 2 which was released in the year 2012 and included a stellar cast of Akshay, Ritiesh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Asin. Both of the parts were helmed by director Sajid Khan.

However, Sajid Khan was replaced in the third instalment of the film by director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. The film was released in 2016. Director Farhad Samji helmed the fourth part of the franchise which was a reincarnation comedy film. The latest instalment in the franchise, Housefull 4, was released 4 years ago.

Yash Raj Films is ready to set the cash counters ringing this festive season with its latest offering Tiger 3, a YRF Spy Universe film. Starring Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, Tiger 3 is set to release on Diwali Day, Sunday, November 12! While fans are excited to see the reunion of Tiger and Zoya, they are equally excited to witness Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan appear in the project. Now, it seems like the third spy Kabir from War, played by Hrithik Roshan, is also set to make a surprise appearance in the third installment of the Tiger franchise.

For unversed, though Salman Khan was the first spy in the YRF Spy Universe, Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan kicked off the interconnection between the said universe. Salman Khan made an extended cameo in the movie as Tiger and the audience was delighted to have the beloved Khans back on the big screen. Now that Pathaan is gearing up to help Tiger in the Maneesh Sharma directorial, Kabir is heading to the franchise. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source revealed,  “Aditya Chopra has set the wheel in motion for a full convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe. No one knows, but along with Pathaan, Kabir will also be making an appearance in Tiger 3. A handful of people know how Adi is visualizing Kabir in Tiger 3 and this information is being kept under wraps to be only revealed on the big screen when Tiger 3 releases on November 12.”

“Three of India’s biggest superstars – Salman, SRK & Hrithik – are in the same universe and now also the same film. This is definitely a moment to celebrate for all the cine-goers. Kabir’s appearance in Tiger 3 is just the beginning of something special in the future of this universe. At this point in time, no one knows the dynamics of how the three super spies will be presented and if they will be in the same frame or not,” the source added.

Hrithik Roshan is already starring in War 2 which will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji. It also stars Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. Meanwhile, there is another spy project with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan titled Tiger vs Pathaan to be directed by Siddharth Anand.

Tiger 3 is the 5th film in the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe which follows the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War & Pathaan. It has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. Following a full day of celebration and Dunki Drop 1 on November 2, Shah Rukh Khan’s big 58th was celebrated with full pomp and show with a grand birthday bash. It was attended by the who's who of the industry. Amongst them were Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who were seen having a gala time at the event.

A video has gone viral on social media in which Ranveer Singh was seen taking over the DJ Booth alongside Mika Singh. He was sporting a white shirt and a moustache, wearing shades as he grooved to SRK’s songs like ‘Lungi Dance’ from Chennai Express and ‘Chaleya’ from Jawan. In one of the moments, he stood on the table as he dedicated ‘Aana Mere Pyar Ko’ from Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa to Deepika who was on the dance floor. The upcoming film Lahore, 1947,  produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, is one of the most anticipated films. Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan are teaming up for the first time for this film. The announcement of the film piqued the excitement. What makes the announcement even more impressive is that Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan have had very iconic box-office clashes as competitors in the past, where both have eventually emerged victorious.

The first iconic clash at the ticket window was witnessed in 1990 when Aamir Khan’s Dil and Sunny Deol’s Ghayal were released on the same day. Then, in 1996, it was Raja Hindustani vs. Ghatak, followed by the most epic Box Office clash of Indian cinema in 2001, when Lagaan was released on the same day as Gadar. Now, for the very first time, the duo has come together and joined hands on a project.

Recently, on his visit to Koffee With Karan Season 8, Sunny Deol was asked by the host, Karan Johar, to share the moment when he and Aamir decided to collaborate. In reply, Sunny Deol said, "When Aamir Khan came to the success party of Gadar 2, he came to me and said that he wanted to meet me. I surprisingly asked myself what it was all about, and the next day we met, we discussed some ideas and possibilities for cooperation, and after the conclusion, we came to this project, and that's how it happened."

Aamir Khan will take over the charge as producer under Aamir Khan Productions, while director Rajkumar Santoshi will helm the project, and Sunny Deol will be leading the film as the main actor.

Lahore, 1947 marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Santoshi after their iconic cult classic, Andaz Apna Apna. Moreover, Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously delivered three box office hits together in the form of Ghayal, Damini, and Ghatak. 9 days are left for the release of Tiger 3 and the excitement is tremendous. Starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the film belongs to the much-loved YRF (Yash Raj Films) Spy Universe, a franchise which has become bigger and bigger with each film. With the action entertainer releasing on Diwali, the producers made sure to begin the censor process well in time. Bollywood Hungama has learned that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the film, albeit with some modifications.

The good news is that unlike Spy Universe’ previous film, Pathaan (2023), the Examining Committee of the CBFC has asked for only audio cuts and haven’t axed any visual from the film. The CBFC asked the word ‘bewakoof’ to be replaced with ‘mashroof’ and ‘foolish’ with ‘busy’ in the subtitles. In certain dialogues, RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) has been mentioned. The CBFC asked the makers to use the correct abbreviation, that is, R&AW, in these dialogues. Finally, the cut list mentions that ‘the modification with respect to the National Anthem is retained as per request’.

Once these changes were carried out, Tiger 3 was granted a U/A certificate on October 27. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate is 153 minutes. In other words, the run time of Tiger 3 is 2 hours and 33 minutes.

Tiger 3 will release in cinemas on Sunday, November 12. Shah Rukh Khan, who played the lead in Pathaan, features in this film in a special appearance. Interestingly, in Pathaan, it was Tiger (Salman Khan) who came to Pathaan’s rescue. Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Besides Tiger 3 and Pathaan, the other films of YRF Spy Universe are Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War (2019). War starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Interestingly, the shoot of War 2, featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR, is underway at present.

The couch is back with its host Karan Johar as Hotstar Specials’ Koffee with Karan returned for season 8.  Following the premiere episode with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the Deol brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol graced the second episode of the show! Both Sunny and Bobby received a special message from their beloved father and veteran star, Dharmendra, which left them emotional.

Dharmendra began his message by saying, “Har baccha kaise bhi ho, baap ke saamne bheegi billi ban jata hai aur baap se dur hote hi sher ban jata hai. Sunny ke andar ek baccha hai jo samajhdaar hogaya hai aur usse samajhdaar hona chahiye (Every child is a scary cat in front of their father, but they become a lion when they move away from their father. Being one of the biggest celebrity photographers in Bollywood, Avinash Gowariker recently received a lot of love from Bollywood star Kajol after she turned muse for him in his recent photoshoot. The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actress penned a beautiful note, dedicating it to him, not only gushing about his photographic skills of Gowariker but also went on to even compare him to one of the biggest fashion photographs, Gautam Rajyadaksha.

Kajol shared a series of monochrome photos of her face close-up from a recent photoshoot with Avinash Gowariker which is expected to be a Halloween-themed one going by her caption. Posting the same, she penned a beautiful note for Ashutosh Gowariker saying, “Somehow black and white have this ghostly power over you.. all you can see is how right it looks. On the other hand, Kajol is riding high on the success of her recently released web series The Trial. It features her in the role of Noyonika, who rejoins law in a bid to save her family from crisis. As for her upcoming projects, Kajol is expected to play a prominent role in the acting debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sarzameen as well as the debut production of Kriti Sanon, Do Patti where she will be reuniting with her Dilwale co-actress.

Dhanush is a rare actor who did a successful crossover from South cinema to Bollywood before the Baahubali era. He was seen in a couple of interesting Hindi films, which made him a popular name even in the Hindi-speaking markets. Now, he is all set to deliver possibly the biggest Pan-India film of his career.

According to sources, the National Award-winning star is all set to play Isaignani Illaiyaraaja in his biopic. Sources added that the movie will go on floors in 2024 and will release in 2025. This is likely to be a huge project given that it is about one of India’s music legends and has uber-talented Dhanush playing the role. The project is said to be produced by Connekkt Media, which is also producing Mohanlal’s pan-Indian film Vrushabha.

The source said, “A few months back, Yuvan Shankar Raja had said that he would love to see Dhanush play his father Ilaiyaraaja in his biopic and the stars seem to have aligned. This is the first biopic Dhanush will be seen in such an iconic role. The Captain Miller star is one of Ilaiyaraaja’s biggest fans and this role will definitely bag him some prestigious awards.”

Ilaiyaraaja, aged 80, has a record of composing over 7,000 songs in over 1,000 films and also performing in over 20,000 concerts. He began his career in 1976 and has composed songs not just for Tamil movies but also for Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi films and also one English movie. In 2010, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honour and the Padma Vibhushan in 2018, the second-highest civilian award, by the Government of India. He has even been honoured with five National Film Awards — three for Best Music Direction and two for Best Background Score. The title ‘Maestro’ was conferred on him by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London.
