Megastar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 80^th birthday on October 11. The celebration was nationwide with wishes pouring in from all corners – from celebrities, colleagues from the film industry, and fans from all across. As his birthday called for celebrations, his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda took to social media to share photos from their family gathering.

Taking to Instagram, Shweta was seen twinning with her father Amitabh. The father-daughter duo donned printed kurtas and posed at his Mumbai residence. In another picture, Abhishek was all smiles as he wore a yellow kurta. Sharing the photo, Shweta wrote, “Twinning & Winning - perfect end to an incredible day."

On the very same night, Amitabh Bachchan stepped out of his residence Jalsa to greet the fans who were waiting to catch a glimpse of the megastar. In the viral video, he was seen waving at the fans and greeting them with folded hands. They also sang Happy Birthday to the actor. It was reported earlier that due to the demise of politician-friend Mulayam Singh Yadav, the actor had opted for a small celebration for his birthday.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was most recently seen in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The actor has an array of line-up. There is good news for all fans of rapper-singer Badshah! Recently, when he appeared in one of the episodes of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Badshah confessed that he is “single”. However, the singer is no more a bachelor.

Recently, Pinkvilla reported that gives a major update on Badshah’s relationship status. If the report is something to go by, then the talented rapper is dating the Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi from Chandigarh. Quoting a source in the report, the publication stated, “It's been a year that rapper is seeing a Punjabi actress.”

Revealing further details, the source added, “Badshah met Isha Rikhi at a party of their common friend. The lovebirds instantly hit it off. At a party, they figured out that they have familiar taste in films and music, so they vibed together. The couple wants to take things slowly as of now. But as a matter of fact, Badshah and Isha have already told about their relationship to their respective families. And everyone is happy about it.”

However, it is worth mentioning that the ‘Kala Chashma’ singer has not confirmed or denied the report yet.

For the unversed, Badshah married Jasmine in 2012. The former couple welcomed their daughter Jessemy Grace Masih Singh in 2017. However, their marriage hit a rough patch in 2019. While Jasmine and Jessemy shifted to London, Badshah continued to shuffle between Chandigarh, Delhi and Mumbai.

Coming to the professional front of the 36-year-old rapper is currently a part of Hustle 2.0. He is donning the hat of the judge in the show. The reality show gives a platform to talented rappers to win a chance to shine and build a career.

Actress Sara Ali Khan and IAS officer turned actor, Abhishek Singh join hands to provide support to young girls who fall victim to non-consensual media sharing. The duo went to interact with young girls at Miranda House College in New Delhi. 

A talk show session was organized by United by Blood organization with NSS and the Department of Chemistry of Miranda House College, called 'No Shame'. During her speech, the actress addressed the issue of young girls' images being shared on the web without their consent, and how it deeply affects them and their mental well-being.   

The Kedarnath actress has been lauded for standing up for this social issue and providing support to those who fall victim to their intimate images and media being shared without consent. Yesterday, even Minister of Law and Justice, Kiran Rijiju praised the actress for joining the 'No Shame Movement' and spreading awareness against non-consensual image sharing amongst young girls, amidst the rising cases of image abuse that are surfacing.

On the work front, the 27-year-old actress is working on Dharma Productions' Ae Watan Mere Watan. She will be seen donning the character of freedom fighter, Usha Mehta. This is her 3rd project of the year. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in Maddock Films' untitled next opposite Vicky Kaushal and Gaslight opposite Vikrant Massey.

In the video, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are together humming the song ‘Ek Dusre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum’. The video was taken during Badla promotions, which was backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and also starred Taapsee Pannu.

The two stars have worked in three films together, including Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Pathaan has the biggest stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu!

Ankita Lokhande is set to spring a huge surprise on movie buffs and her fans once again with her next big offering, Swatantraveer Savarkar. Ankita has been roped in to play the lead opposite Randeep Hooda in a biopic on the late freedom fighter, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The movie also features Amit Sial in a pivotal role.

Sharing her excitement on the announcement, Ankita says, "I love essaying challenging and pivotal characters that not just take the narrative forward but also leave an impact on the audience. Swatantra Veer Savarkar is one such inspiring story that needs to be told and I'm happy to be associated with it".

Swatantra Veer Savarkar marks the debut of Randeep Hooda as a director besides playing the titular role.

The film is conceptualised by Sandeep Singh, and it is written by Utkarsh Naithani and Randeep Hooda. The film is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Legend Studios, Producers Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh and Sam Khan. The film is scheduled to release on 26th May 2023, marking the 140th birth anniversary of Veer Savarkar.

Apple Original Films on Monday unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated documentary feature about singer, songwriter, actress, producer, entrepreneur and activist Selena Gomez, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, directed and produced by Alek Keshishian. The announcement was made on World Mental Health Day, in support of global mental health education and awareness, as Selena bravely shares her own journey in this revealing film.

After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieved unimaginable stardom. But just as she reached a new peak, an unexpected turn pulled her into darkness. This raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light. “Just be who you are, Selena," the voice-over of the songstress begins. “No one cares about what you're doing. It is about who I am, being okay with where I am. I am grateful to be alive.” The trailer gives a glimpse of Gomez receiving her lupus diagnosis and says that she had a mental breakdown. Selena says in the video, “I'm going to stop living like this.”

Selena is in tears in the trailer as she says, “My whole life since I was a kid I've been working. I don't want to be, like, super famous, but I do know that if I'm here I have to use that for good.”

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has finally dropped the trailer for his long-awaited film Ram Setu. The trailer starts with Nassar saying, “Ye desh Ram ke bharose chalta hai.” Then the viewers get a peek into the courtroom drama of the upcoming film. 

As the trailer progresses further, Akshay Kumar enters the frame as an archaeologist. The picturesque frames of the trailer manage to grab viewers attention. The trailer revolves around an atheist archaeologist turned believer, Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar). He can be seen racing against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage.

The forthcoming film also features Satyadev Kancharana, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Jacqueline Fernandez in primary roles. It will be a fast-paced, action-adventure entertainer with a never-seen-before visual scale.

Jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions and Prime Video, Ram Setu will be distributed worldwide in theatres by Zee Studios. It is written and directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film is slated to release on October 25, 2022.

October 11 this year marks the 80th birthday of legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. Among many others, it's her daughter Shweta Bachchan who wrote a heartwarming birthday note for him. While taking to her official social media handle, Shweta dropped a photo dump, featuring a few unseen photos of the Shahenshah.

On the other hand, Shweta wrote a Punjabi poem in her caption along with “To my grand old man Happy 80th Birthday”. In one of the images, Amitabh can be seen walking hand-in-hand with toddler Shweta. The multiple-picture post on Shweta’s Instagram handle garnered love from Bachchan’s fans.

In the film festival, Bachchan Back To The Beginning, presented 11 films of Big B over 22 theatres all around India. Even before the film hit the big screens, the Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan has been garnering ample of attention from the audience. The film marks the comeback of the superstar after three years on the big screen and fans cannot wait to see him play the secret spy in this Siddharth Anand directorial. Now certain reports suggest that the makers are already planning a sequel but there has been no official announcement regarding the film.

Reports have it that the team of Pathaan has already started work on the second instalment and that they are working on the script. Neither Siddharth Anand nor producers Yash Raj Films have spoken about it. Readers would be aware that Pathaan will also have Salman Khan reprising his role as Tiger along with Shah Rukh Khan also reprising his role from Pathaan in Tiger 3. It is being said that YRF is keen on creating a spy universe with the Khans by turning these films into big franchises.

Speaking of Pathaan 2, a source was quoted in ETimes saying, “The team of Pathaan has begun writing the sequel to the film and like the Tiger films, the story will travel to various countries." It has also been revealed that the makers would be adding more characters in the sequel to the SRK starrer.

For the first time ever, Pathaan will bring together Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone. The spy thriller is expected to feature the action packed avatars of the superstar and the actress. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is slated to release on January 25, 2023. Talking about Tiger 3, the film will mark the return of the popular onscreen couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif whereas Emraan Hashmi will be seen in the role of an antagonist. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the action entertainer will release on April 21, 2023.

Ayushmann Khurrana is currently gearing up for his next release Doctor G. Like his previous big-screen outings, the Anubhuti Kashyap directorial features a unique story, which is off the beaten track. Recently, while promoting the film, Ayushmann was in conversation with Bollywood Hungama, where he revealed that there was a time a producer offered him a blank cheque to sign a three-film deal.

Talking about the incident, while replying to the query of how tough it is to reject films that don’t have a unique twist, the actor added, “I remember there was this one producer who gave me a bank cheque saying, 'aap jitne paise chaihye le lo, humare saath teen picture kar lo'. I asked about the story, subject and the script, his response was, 'woh toh likhte rahenge hum’. Maine kaha, mere liye Lakshmi ke pehle Saraswati aati hai. For me the script is very important, there have been offers, which have been out there, and much more than what I expected. But it is the script which is of utmost importance.”

As for Ayushmann’s soon-to-release film, Doctor G also features Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah, and Sheeba Chaddha and revolves around a doctor's struggle as a male gynecologist. Produced by Junglee Pictures the film is slated to hit screens on October 14, 2022.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and his infectious energy spread like wildfire with whoever dances with him. After sharing antisemitic posts on social media, Kanye ‘Ye’ West, has had both his Twitter and Instagram accounts restricted following a series of antisemitic posts.

According to a report by Variety, the restriction comes after West took to Twitter after facing a similar restriction on Instagram. The musician Donda rapper shared two tweets that have largely been criticized as antisemitic. The first post – where West claimed that he couldn’t be antisemitic and said he had been “toyed with” by the Jewish people – has since been deleted by Twitter for “violating the Twitter rules.”

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death [sic] con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” West wrote in the now-deleted post. “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.” A second post, shared closely after the first, remains public on Twitter: “Who do you think created cancel culture?”

Earlier on October 7, West had shared a screenshot of a message, in a now-deleted post, which he had allegedly sent to rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, in which he wrote, "Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this was war." Soon after, Instagram restricted his account and deleted the content for a violation of its policies.

Per the report, a Meta spokesperson confirmed the decision sharing that temporary restrictions on posting, commenting and messaging are standard practice for accounts that regularly violate the social media platform’s policies. The company did not indicate which specific posts were the cause behind the restriction.

Following the backlash on Instagram, West took to Twitter calling out Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for his restriction from the platform and wrote, “Look at this Mark How you gone kick me off Instagram You used to be my ni**a” Replying to the rapper, Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”

This week is going to be dominated by Amitabh Bachchan as he turns 80 years old tomorrow, October 11. A film festival of his classic films is going on in multiple cities in PVR Cinemas and its videos have already gone viral. Meanwhile, his film Goodbye was released last Friday, October 7. Its tickets will be sold for just Rs. 80 on his birthday and this offer has also caught the attention of film goers.

Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan will continue to dominate the headlines next week as well. The trailer of his upcoming film, Uunchai, will be released on Tuesday, October 18 at a grand event at a multiplex in Mumbai. The actors of the film – Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Sarika and Neena Gupta – along with director Sooraj Barjatya will be present at this launch event. As for Amitabh Bachchan, he’ll join the event and interact with the media through video call.

Uunchai releases on November 11 in cinemas. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Sooraj Barjatya is known for making films about families. For the first time, he has made a film which celebrates friendship. It’s shot in the snow-capped regions of Nepal and it’s a story of four old-aged buddies who try to scale Mount Everest, as per reports. There’s a lot of excitement for this film as Sooraj Barjatya’s track record is incredible. The trade expects this film to be a dark horse at the box office. The trailer will give a fair idea about the film’s potential and hence, the launch event is keenly awaited.”

In October 2021, Bollywood Hungama reported that Parineeti Chopra will be seen in the role of a Nepali tourist guide in Uunchai who helps and accompanies Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa on their adventurous trip. The line producer Suraj Acharya had revealed to a newspaper that between October 4 to 9, 2021, the team of the film shot at Lukla airport, located near the Everest Base Camp. It is considered the most dangerous airport in the world.

Salman Khan has been even more successful since the release of Dabangg (2010). His box office record is envious and though a few of his recent films underperformed, his stardom is intact. As a result, there’s a lot of hype for his upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhi Kisi Ki Jaan. The superstar has released a few stills from the film and even a rocking title announcement video in the past few months. And now, on Diwali, Salman is all set to treat fans with a surprise.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Salman Khan and his team are going to digitally drop an asset of Kisi Ka Bhi Kisi Ki Jaan. It’ll be launched on or around the Festival of Lights. Diwali is a time when families come together. Kisi Ka Bhi Kisi Ki Jaan is also a complete family entertainer. Hence, Salman felt that this period is apt to release an asset of the film. Moreover, with the movie releasing two months later, it was only fair to begin the promotional campaign during the festival.”

When asked what the fans can expect, the source replied, “Salman Khan, director Farhad Samji and the core team are working on the poster, motion poster and teaser. They’ll decide closer to Diwali as to what they’ll like to release out of the three.”

Will it come on the day of Diwali? The source revealed, “Possibly. Or it can come around Diwali. A clearer picture will emerge in the next ten days.”

Meanwhile, fans online are speculating that Kisi Ka Bhi Kisi Ki Jaan’s asset will be unveiled during the India vs Pakistan T20 match, which will be held on October 23. The source, however, maintained that nothing is sure at the moment.

Kisi Ka Bhi Kisi Ki Jaan also stars Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill and Raghav Juyal. Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu also have key roles in the film. It will release in cinemas on December 30, 2022.

The recent recall of the journey of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family has risen the anticipation for the much-awaited, Drishyam 2. Going by the latest development update, the upcoming film has wrapped its last schedule. Interestingly, before wrapping the crew shot a song featuring the Salgaonkar family in Goa. 

The sequel of the murder mystery will mark the return of its original star cast of Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta. After the release of the recall teaser, Bollywood Hungama had shared an interesting development about the film. A source told us, “The trailer of Drishyam 2 is expected to be out mid-October, around October 15 or 16.”

It further added, “The launch event will be held in Goa. The beach state played a very important role in part 1 as well as in Drishyam 2. Hence, the team of the film felt that launching the trailer of Drishyam 2 will give a nice touch. The film's actors - Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav - will be in attendance at the Goa event along with director Abhishek Pathak and the producers of the film.”

Viacom18 Studios Presents Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios present, Drishyam 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The original score and music are by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 is set to release theatrically on 18th November 2022.

Geeta Basra has been on a long hiatus. But now, the actress is all set to return to the big screen after six years. Geeta, who was busy with her married life and motherhood, had decided to take a break from the entertainment industry. While she was quite active on social media, the actress seems to have made up her mind to return and stay active in B-town as well. Her next film is titled Notary and will feature her alongside Parambrata Chatterjee.

Geeta Basra took to Instagram to announce her next film Notary and also gave a sneak peek into what the film is all about. She posted, “#Notary is a quirky and satirical drama film. A Kaash Entertainment production, in association with Boundless Media and Wadeeyar Movies, the shoot of the film has begun.” Speaking about her return, a source close to the actress said, “Geeta has announced her comeback to films after six years. She was on a maternity break for the past few years and now she decided that she is all set to face the cameras again. Before that, the actress is spending some quality time with her family in Dubai.”

Notary is directed by Pawan Wadeyar and is also expected to star Shiv Pandit, Priya Banerjee, Dalip Tahil, Darshana Banik, among others. Recently the actress also announced about the film going on floors by posing with a clap. Producers Kaash Entertainment, Boundless Media, Wadeeyar Movies also shared photos and videos announcing the film going on floors in Bhopal.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill is gearing up to become a Bollywood star. However, the reality show contestant’s family seems to face trouble in Punjab. Her father Santokh Singh Gill, who is also a politician, faced death threats and have approached the Amritsar police and has filed a case against the caller. Mr. Gill has given a statement to ANI claiming that he received a phone call and was threatened that he would be killed before Diwali. He also went on to state that if no arrests are made, he would be forced to leave Punjab.

Speaking to ANI, BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) member Santokh Singh Gill said, “I reached the SSP of Amritsar Rural Police on Saturday to file a complaint,” he said. “Yesterday I got a threat call from a person named Happy who threated to kill me before Diwali,” he shared. He went on to add, “I think they want to target me because I am a Hindu leader.”

While he has requested the police to fast track the investigation, he went on to conclude, “If no arrests are made, I will soon be forced to leave Punjab and settle elsewhere.” In the past, in December 2021, Santokh Singh Gill was attacked by two assailants who had shot him when he was sitting in the car.

Shehnaaz Gill gained fame with Bigg Boss 13 and was reportedly dating co-contestant Siddharth Shukla, who passed away last year due to cardiac arrest. She is currently gearing up to make her big Bollywood debut alongside Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which also features an ensemble cast of Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill among others.

The actor was recently trending across platforms, courtesy of his dance video with Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek basketball player was seen grooving to one of the actor’s most popular songs from his film Goliyon Ki Raasleela, Ram Leela. A video of Ranveer teaching dance to Giannis has started to go viral and even the actor’s industry friends like Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor also commented on the video.

In a recent video shared by Ranveer Singh, the actor and Giannis Antetokounmpo were seen doing some Bollywood-style dancing. The actor was seen teaching the basketball player the moves of his popular dancing track ‘Tattad Tattad’ from his film Goliyon Ki Raasleela, Ram Leela. The track is his introduction song in the film which was also his movie with his wife Deepika Padukone that released in 2013. Interestingly, Giannis was not only enjoying the performance but was also seen acing the dance moves with Singh.

Ranveer Singh posted the video on his Instagram handle saying, “The Greek Freak gettin’ his Tattad Tattad on! @giannis_an34 ?????? @nba @nbaindia @nbastyle_in @nbaeurope @nbaarabic.” Followed by the post, many of his industry friends like Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and photographer Rohan Shrestha took to the platform to drop their comments. “Ohhhh sheeee bro????” said  Tiger whereas Arjun commented, “Desi freak”. “HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA YAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS,” said Rohan, and Abhimanyu Dassani too dropped a comment, “Hhahahahaha what a guy!!!” Interestingly, the post was also appreciated by NBA India who added, “Just the Collab we needed”.
