Ananya Panday, often in the news for her personal life, recently shared on Raj Shamani's podcast that she has been in a past relationship where she made significant changes to herself. However, she clarified that these changes never reached a negative point.

Ananya said, “I don’t think you see a red flag in a relationship immediately. When you are out of a relationship, at that time, you realise that it could have been done better. If I am in a relationship, I will do everything to figure it out and sort it out. I see the best in people and do my best and give it my all in a relationship, but I expect that from my partner also. For me, half-heartedness doesn’t work. If you are in a relationship, you have to show loyalty and respect.”

Ananya revealed that in the past, she had instances where she adjusted herself for her partner. When asked if she had ever compromised in a relationship, she added, “We all have a little bit. I have been in a relationship where I have changed myself a lot, but not to the point that it turned bad... You do things to impress in the beginning of a relationship and you don’t realise how much you are changing for your partner.”

Ananya shared her perspective on romance, saying it involves "someone who listens to me" and emphasized the importance of support. She added that as a young and successful actor, her achievements can sometimes intimidate men, making it difficult for them to process.

On Ananya Panday’s birthday, Walker Blanco expressed his love with a heartfelt Instagram Story, writing, “Happy Birthday Beautiful!!! You are soooo special. I love you Annieee.”

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) again shared his admiration for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. In a candid conversation with Vanga at the Animal vs Wild Animal event, RGV expressed how the film's depiction of violence left a lasting impression on him.

Emotional Depth in Violence RGV praised the raw intensity of Animal, particularly highlighting the emotional depth behind its violent scenes. He said, "The violence was more impactful than seeing armies fighting each other." The film became one of the highest-grossing films of 2023, receiving widespread acclaim for its emotionally charged storytelling and intense action. Actor Sunny Deol is heading back to the sets of Lahore 1947 after the perfectionist actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan suggested key additions to enhance the film. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the project delves into the emotional upheaval and resilience of individuals during the Partition.

Aamir Khan’s Vision for Lahore 1947 Aamir Khan, who is producing the film, reviewed the first cut of Lahore 1947 and felt certain sequences could benefit from heightened dramatic intensity. A report by Mid-Day quoted a source close to the production saying, “Aamir shared his thoughts with Rajkumar Santoshi, and they agreed on incorporating additional shots to elevate the visual and emotional impact. The changes aim to ensure the narrative is as compelling as the story demands.” Sunny Deol Aligns Schedule for Patch Shoot Sunny Deol, fresh from completing Jaat, readily adjusted his schedule for the patch shoot. A crew member revealed, “The team will film a song and additional scenes that will amplify crucial moments in the story. A set for the song will be constructed at Mehboob Studios starting December 1, with filming expected to last 10 to 15 days. Sunny sir will complete these scenes before traveling to Kashmir for the Border 2 shoot.”

Lahore 1947 also stars Preity Zinta and promises a gripping portrayal of the Partition’s impact. The film captures the chaos, pain, and resilience of those affected.

Salman Khan, the Bollywood actor, mentioned Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu during a conversation with Shilpa Shirodkar and others on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 18. While discussing the contrast between an actor’s on-screen and off-screen persona, Salman Khan highlighted Mahesh Babu’s ability to stay grounded off-screen, despite his powerful on-screen presence.

Salman Khan said, “Shilpa [Shirodkar], your brother-in-law Mahesh Babu, on screen he is like that. But in real life he is not like that. Director and producer Raaj Shaandilyaa and Vimal Lahoti have acquired the Hindi remake rights of Fouja, a film that has won three National Awards this year. This project will be produced under their banner, Kathavachak Films.

Fouja has won three National Awards. With themes of resilience, patriotism, and humanity, the original film resonated with audiences across the country. The Hindi remake aims to bring this narrative to a broader audience.

Sharing his thoughts, Raaj Shaandilyaa said, “I am honored to bring Fouja to Hindi cinema. It’s a story of extraordinary courage and emotion that deserves to be experienced by a larger audience. My goal is to remain faithful to the soul of the original while crafting a version that resonates with Hindi-speaking viewers and beyond.”

Javed Akhtar has clarified his earlier blunt remarks about the blockbuster success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 family crime drama Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. In an interview with Mojo Story, he explained that his comments were directed at the audience rather than the film itself.

“I did not opine on Animal, I opined on the audience. Honestly! I believe if 10-12-15 people have made a film with wrong values… if 10-12 people produce a song which is vulgar, crude, obscene… that's not the problem. If 15 out of 140 crore people are perverts or have wrong values, it's okay, doesn't matter. When that thing goes out in the market and becomes a superhit, that’s the problem,” Javed Akhtar explained.

When the veteran lyricist and screenwriter was asked why he thought Animal succeeded, he joked, “I think the basic title tells you why. The title is self-explanatory.” Earlier this year, Javed had mentioned at an event that although he hadn't seen Animal, he had heard about a controversial scene in which the male protagonist (Ranbir Kapoor) asks his love interest (Triptii Dimri) to lick his shoe to prove her love and loyalty. Javed remarked that the fact that Animal earned over ₹500 crore at the domestic box office only highlights how dangerous the society consuming such content has become.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal, took offense to Javed Akhtar's comments and suggested that the lyricist should watch the film first to understand its context. Sandeep also questioned Javed's hypocrisy, pointing out that his son, Farhan Akhtar, is a co-producer of the Prime Video India crime thriller Mirzapur, which is notorious for its use of obscene language.

In his response, Javed pointed out that Sandeep could only find a show produced—rather than directed or written—by his son's production house, Excel Entertainment, to call out his supposed hypocrisy. Javed further added that the fact that Sandeep couldn't find any instance of sexism or obscenity in his own extensive filmography or discography was, in fact, quite flattering.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-awaited epic, Love & War, is creating a lot of excitement, thanks to its impressive cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. During the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Ranbir expressed his enthusiasm about working with the renowned director once more, sharing that he was "extremely excited" to collaborate with him again, according to The Indian Express.

While speaking on stage, Ranbir shared, "I am extremely excited. He is my godfather. Everything I know about films, everything I know about acting, it is something I learnt from him." Ranbir is no stranger to collaborating with the renowned director. He previously worked as an assistant director on Bhansali's Black (2005) and made his acting debut in Saawariya (2007). The grand finale of the We the Women festival, curated by award-winning journalist Barkha Dutt, featured a unique and powerful tribute to designer Sabyasachi. The event spotlighted a fashion shoot that had gone viral, featuring street children from Lucknow dressed in outfits inspired by Sabyasachi's iconic aesthetic. 

The shoot, which blended high fashion with the raw realities of street life, became an instant sensation on social media, drawing attention to the intersection of fashion and social causes. The We the Women team flew down the children from Lucknow- the first journey on an airplane for all of them- for their ramp walk on the festival stage.  The children are from extremely low income households. Their parents are daily wage workers and street vendors. Their fashion walk received a standing ovation and culminated in a dramatic and heartwarming announcement from Sabyasachi- a contribution of 25 lakhs to the NGO Innovation for Change and to the families of the children.  The gesture was not only a tribute to the children's determination but also a powerful reminder of how moments of visibility and support can create pathways for lasting change, helping families rise above the hardships they face. Shriya Pilgaonkar, who has just returned from New Zealand where the Air Quality Index (AQI) was a perfect 1, expressed her shock upon learning about Delhi's deteriorating air quality. The actor emphasized that this is not the time to blame the government, but rather to take responsibility for the situation.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shriya Pilgaonkar discussed her role as a goodwill ambassador for ALT EFF, as well as her concerns about climate change and the severe air quality crisis currently affecting Delhi. During the conversation, Shriya expressed her deep concern about the climate change that people are currently experiencing. She highlighted the worsening air quality in Delhi as a "red alert" signal, emphasizing the urgent need to address the issue. "The crazy part is that I was in New Zealand recently, where the AQI was 1... The air was so clean, and now to think that the air we're breathing here is so hazardous," Shriya shared. "Air is the most basic thing we need as citizens," she emphasized. The actor further added, "It's easy for people to put the blame on the government, but there are so many actions that we also need to take. We need to act collectively. That is when things will change." The Taaza Khabar actor expressed that the current situation deeply unsettles her. "It is very scary to me that we are breathing toxic air.... Especially post Diwali, things happen every year Now, I am concerned about how things will worsen in the time to come... We as a country need to come together and understand. The ongoing festival, which will run across 40 cities in India until December 8, features an exciting lineup of films, workshops, and panel discussions aimed at fostering global dialogue on urgent environmental issues. "Before I started acting, I used to watch a lot of films at the Mumbai Film Festival. As a creative person, it's important to expose yourself to different kinds of storytelling and cinema," she explains, revealing why she chose to get involved with the environmental film festival. Diljit Dosanjh, who typically avoids controversies, found himself caught in one when the Telangana state government issued him a notice, warning him not to perform songs promoting alcohol and violence during his concert in Hyderabad. In response, the singer altered the lyrics of his songs while performing. After his Hyderabad show, while performing in Ahmedabad, Diljit addressed the legal notice. During his set, he clarified that he does not promote alcohol, and that only a few of his songs touch on the topic, which he can easily modify. Expressing his frustration over being singled out for this issue, he declared that if every state in India becomes alcohol-free, he would stop making songs about alcohol altogether.

The Chamkila star received backing from his fans when he openly expressed his feelings. Recently, his industry peer and close friend, Badshah, also came to his defense. During an appearance at the Aaj Tak event, Badshah criticized the apparent double standards, pointing out that while musicians are targeted, alcohol is readily available across the country. Reflecting on Diljit's comments, Badshah agreed with the artist's point of view. He said, "You are telling him not to sing or make songs about alcohol but then you're selling liquor everywhere. Why shouldn't they be made? An artist represents society and that's what makes them relevant and the reason why people love them. However, he fully supported Diljit's stance and said, “If you don’t want him to sing about something, then that thing shouldn’t exist in society in the first place.” Badshah also spoke about the close personal relationship he shares with Diljit, describing him as an elder brother who has always supported and guided him through difficult times. Kartik Aaryan stood against the multi-starrer Singham Again and came out with flying colours. Many were of the opinion that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 should move out of the Diwali race. But Kartik and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series didn’t bow down. The result: Kartik and the makers had the last laugh as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 managed to trend better.

Trade veteran Taran Adarsh said, “It withstood a giant like Singham Again. It has so many stars, including Salman Khan in the end. To go past that film is a humongous achievement for Kartik. For him, it’s not a jump; it’s a leap! You are known by your last Friday and his last release was Chandu Champion. When I saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, I told him, ‘Chandu Champion se aap awards kamaoge. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 se aap awards ke saath rewards bhi kamaoge’. And somewhere, box-office rewards are more important than getting awards (smiles).”

He added, “Kartik Aaryan has a huge following among kids and family audiences. That worked to the advantage of the film. And look at the way he promoted it; he even went to Patna. He could have ended the campaign after the first week. But he did not stop. That also adds to his popularity – his connect with the masses. The whole idea of letting people know that the actor is coming to their city to promote his film makes a difference. Of course, the content also has to match. Singham Again stars, meanwhile, did only select venue visits that too in Mumbai.”

Trade analyst Atul Mohan said, “If your film emerges a success in such a high-profile clash, it’s a big shot in the arm. He’s now in the big league. He didn’t clash with a film starring a lot of stars but also with a hit filmmaker – Rohit Shetty. He’s the face of the franchise and hence, he gets the benefit when the film works.”

Girish Johar, producer and film business analyst, said that he won when he decided to clash Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Singham Again, “Kartik standing against these high profile actors itself is a big thing for him.” He added, “Kartik has been dabbling in various genres, be it Chandu Champion, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Freddy etc. He’s acting in light mass-based comedies because he should continue. He has a long way ahead of him.”

On Tuesday, AR Rahman took the nation by shock as he announced separation from his wife after 29 years of marriage. While his kids have requested privacy and addressed the media showcasing their support towards their family and parents, another divorce note which was from the musical maestro’s bassist Mohini Dey has further added to the speculations. Considering that the musician announced soon after the maestro shared this life update has got netizens talking.

Mohini Dey, who has performed for AR Rahman for many years, incidentally announced her divorce on the same day as the latter which has fueled up rumours. After the musician’s lawyers addressed the same earlier this week, now Dey too has decided to speak up on it. While she maintained silence all this while, on Friday, she took to her Instagram handle to share a note on her story which asserted her stance on the ongoing rumours as she wrote about the innumerable interview calls coming her way. “I've been getting a humongous amount of requests for interviews and I know exactly what it’s about so, I have to respectfully turn each one down because I am not interested in fueling into ABSOLUTE BS! I believe my energy is not worth spending on RUMOURS. Kindly, respect my privacy. <3 Mo”.

While AR Rahman has not reacted to these reports, his son A R Ameen too took to his Instagram story to react to these rumours, denying them and requested everyone to maintain dignity. His note said, “My father is a legend, not just for his incredible contributions but for the values, respect, and love he has earned over the years. It's disheartening to see false and baseless rumours being spread. Let us all remember the importance of truth and respect when speaking about someone's life and legacy. Please refrain from engaging in or spreading such misinformation. Let's honor and preserve the dignity and the incredible impact he has had on all of us.”

Meanwhile, the legal team of AR Rahman also addressed these rumours. “There is no connection at all. Saira and Mr Rahman made this decision on their own”, they were quoted telling Republic TV recently.

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024 kicked off in Goa on Wednesday, celebrating Indian cinema. A major highlight on Day 1 was a masterclass by Manoj Bajpayee, where the renowned actor discussed his acting journey, film choices, and the challenges confronting independent cinema today.

Manoj Bajpayee, known for taking on unconventional roles and collaborating with emerging filmmakers, openly discussed what influences his career decisions. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “When I was doing Gangs Of Wasseypur, I realised this industry is not going to give me what I want. They weren’t writing the scripts that I wanted and not giving opportunities to the talents who have it in them. That’s when I realised I have to look for my own directors and scripts or just wait for eternity for that one script to happen to you, and I was desperate!”

He explained how this realization drove him to actively look for promising filmmakers. “I started watching a lot of short films on YouTube. In that search, I found too many people. That’s when I went for the new filmmakers – Dipesh Jain (Gali Guleiyan), Kanu Bahl (Despatch). I knew I had too much to express, but there was nobody in the industry who was able to give me that,” Bajpayee shared.

Bajpayee expressed concern about the challenges facing independent cinema in India today, especially on digital platforms. He said, “We are at our lowest right now. We thought there is a strong platform for independent cinema, but now even the OTT platforms have stopped welcoming that kind of creativity.” He added, “We are living in a time of uncertainty. One day, independent cinema will rise again. Independent cinemas are the only kind of cinema that is staying true to the definition of cinema as an art.”

Bajpayee, last seen in Bhaiyya Ji, is preparing for the release of Kanu Bahl’s highly anticipated Despatch, which will premiere at IFFI 2024.

A new report suggests that the individual arrested for issuing death threats to actor Shah Rukh Khan was monitoring his activities and attempting to gather private details about his family. The accused, identified as Raipur-based lawyer Faizan Khan, is in custody for allegedly threatening the actor and demanding extortion.

According to a report by The Times of India, investigations revealed that Faizan Khan conducted extensive online searches to gather information about Shah Rukh Khan's family's security arrangements and movements. He also tracked the movements of the actor and his son, Aryan Khan. This discovery was made through a forensic analysis of Faizan's second mobile phone, recovered by the Bandra Police investigation team.

Reports indicate that Faizan, currently in judicial custody for ten days, has been providing investigators with evasive and contradictory explanations for his searches related to Shah Rukh Khan and his family's movements. Both Shah Rukh and Aryan Khan are under Y-plus security cover provided by the Maharashtra government.

On November 7, the Mumbai Police received an anonymous call threatening Shah Rukh Khan's life and demanding a ₹50 lakh extortion. The call was traced to Raipur, linking the phone to Faizan Khan. Initially, Faizan claimed his phone had been stolen and that he was being framed.

Following preliminary investigations, the police arrested Faizan on November 12 and brought him in for questioning. He was placed in police custody until November 18 and later remanded to judicial custody for two weeks. Notably, Faizan had previously filed a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan regarding a dialogue in his 1994 film Anjaam about deer hunting.

The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 is approaching its finale, with only four episodes remaining. The penultimate episode will feature veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, along with his wife Poonam Sinha, daughter Sonakshi Sinha, and son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal. Ahead of its release, the makers dropped a teaser, offering fans a sneak peek at the fun that’s about to unfold on the show.

The teaser kicks off with Sonakshi Sinha joking, “If you want to get married, come on Kapil Sharma’s show and address him as Bhaiya.” She introduces her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, to Kapil, saying, “Bhaiya, meet my saiyaa,” leaving the audience in laughter.

Next, Shatrughan Sinha makes an entrance with his iconic “Khamosh” and shares a funny anecdote. Archana then asked Poonam, “Has Shatruji ever apologized to you after an argument?” Poonam laughs and replies, “You think he will ever apologize? Oh my God! That will be the day.” Shatrughan Sinha humorously responds, saying, “I feel like crying.”

When Kapil asked Poonam, “How will you score Shatrughan Sinha for being patient?”, Shatrughan confidently guesses, “100,” but Poonam gives him a “2.”

One of the most dashing and talented actors of the industry, R Madhavan, is having a great run at the box office. Earlier this year, he rocked the show in Shaitaan, co-starring Ajay Devgn, as the antagonist. His 2001 romcom Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein was re-released and did very well. And now he has begun shooting for a love story with a dash of comedy opposite Fatima Sana Shaikh. As per certain reports, the film is tentatively titled Tharki.

Bollywood Hungama has found out the actual title of this film. A source told us, “The film is not called Tharki. The title is Aap Jaisa Koi. It goes well with the plot of the film and also has a nostalgic vibe to it, as it reminds of the classic song of the same name from Qurbani (1980).”

Aap Jaisa Koi is directed by Vivek Soni and incidentally, he has one more film lined up for release. It’s called Chand Mera Dil and incidentally, just like the R Madhavan starrer, the title of the second film also has a title taken from an old hit song. It stars Ananya Panday and Lakshya of Kill (2024) fame. Its posters were unveiled recently and got a fine response.

Incidentally, Chand Mera Dil will be released under the banner of Dharma Productions and hence, will have a theatrical release. Aap Jaisa Koi, however, is reportedly made under Dharmatic Entertainment and will premiere on Netflix. Both films are backed by Karan Johar.

As per an article in mid-day, Aap Jaisa Koi is about a virgin in his mid-40s who meets a young girl on a dating app. It also stars Namit Das and Karan Wahi. The film went on floors in Mumbai a few weeks ago and it’ll also be shot in Kolkata in December.

Apart from this romcom, R Madhavan also shot for De De Pyaar De 2, co-starring his Shaitaan co-star Ajay Devgn. As for Fatima Sana Shaikh, she’ll be seen in the multi-starrer Metro…In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu.

The power-packed teaser of Chhaava was released on August 14 and attached with the prints of Stree 2. It stars Vicky Kaushal in a never-before-seen avatar and as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The promo got a roaring response and immediately, the excitement for it went many notches higher. The makers also announced that the film will be released on December 6. This meant a clash with Pushpa 2, arguably the most awaited film of the year. Many in the industry and trade hoped that this clash would be averted. With two weeks to go for December 6, it is clear now that Chhaava is not releasing on the said date and that Pushpa 2 will come solo. However, Maddock Films, the prestigious banner backing Chhaava, has still not announced the new release date for their film.

As per reports, producer Dinesh Vijan and his dedicated team are looking at multiple dates to bring the period film to cinemas. Reportedly, he’s looking at December 20 and January 10. Now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that the producers are also toying with releasing the film in the second or third week of February 2025.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Chhaava is the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, whose father was the national hero Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. His birth anniversary, called Shivaji Jayanti, is celebrated on February 19 every year with a lot of pomp in Maharashtra. The makers felt that releasing Chhaava around this time could be apt.”

The source continued, “If they lock this period to release Chhaava, they’ll need to figure out whether to release it on February 14 or February 21 since February 19 falls on Wednesday.”

An industry expert commented, “All the dates under consideration are packed. Mufasa: The Lion King and Vanwaas are scheduled for a release on December 20 followed by Baby John on December 25 while Game Changer releases on January 10. The Ram Charan starrer might not pose a big competition but then it’s just two weeks before the release of Sky Force, another ambitious film of Maddock, starring Akshay Kumar, which releases on January 24. February 14 and 21 are also crowded with releases like Deva, Sanki, Dhadak 2 and Raid 2. Meanwhile, the holy month of Ramadan is expected to start from February 28. Hence, it remains to be seen how Dinesh Vijan manages to find a perfect release date for Chhaava.”

Besides Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna and Divya Dutta. It is directed by Laxman Utekar, of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023) and Mimi (2021) fame.

Ashneer Grover, co-founder of BharatPe and a former judge on Shark Tank India, recently appeared as a guest on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 18. During the episode, host Salman Khan confronted Grover over past comments made about the actor. While Grover apologised to Khan during the show, he later addressed the incident in a lengthy post on social media.

The Backstory: BharatPe’s Association with Salman Khan Salman Khan was previously hired as a brand ambassador for BharatPe when Grover was associated with the fintech company. Grover had shared anecdotes about working with Salman, including one where he negotiated Khan’s fee for an advertisement.

“Salman’s team initially demanded Rs. 7.5 crore, which I couldn’t afford. After negotiations, the fee was reduced to Rs. 4.5 crore,” Grover had revealed during a session at Lovely Professional University in 2022.

Another incident, which Grover mentioned on the Vagehra Vagehra podcast, involved Salman refusing to take a photo with him. Grover humorously recalled, “I sat with him for three hours, and then his manager said Salman doesn’t like clicking photos. I said, fine, I won’t insist.”

However, the recent appearance on Bigg Boss 18 gave Grover the chance to click a long-awaited photo with the Bollywood superstar.

While Salman Khan criticised Grover during the episode, it appears the two have resolved their differences, with Grover appreciating Khan’s contribution to BharatPe’s campaigns.

Dilip Joshi, known for his iconic portrayal of Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), has addressed the viral rumours about an alleged fight with the show’s producer, Asit Modi. The actor denied these reports, calling them baseless and hurtful.

"False Stories Hurt Us and Our Fans" Responding to claims that he had a heated argument with Asit Modi, even holding the producer by his collar, Joshi issued a heartfelt statement. He expressed frustration over the spread of false information, saying: "There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a show that means so much to me and millions of fans, and when people spread baseless rumors, it hurts not only us but also our loyal viewers." "Negativity Around the Show Is Disheartening" Joshi emphasised the impact of such rumours on the cast, crew, and fans of the beloved sitcom. He stated: "It’s disheartening to see negativity being spread about something that has brought so much joy to so many for so many years. Every time such rumours pop up, it feels like we’re constantly explaining that they are completely untrue. It’s tiring, and it’s frustrating."

The actor further speculated that jealousy over the show’s continued success might be a factor behind these recurring controversies. "No Plans to Quit TMKOC" Putting an end to rumours about his departure from the show, Joshi confirmed his commitment to TMKOC. He said: "Earlier, there were even rumours about me leaving the show, which is completely false. We all stand together in our commitment to make this show the best it can be. Let’s focus on the positivity and joy that this show brings to so many." Previous Controversies on TMKOC Sets This isn’t the first time the show has made headlines. Several former cast members, including Shailesh Lodha, Jennifer Mistry, and Palak Sindhwani, have alleged harassment, abuse, and non-payment of dues by Modi and the co-producers. Jennifer Mistry also accused Modi of sexual harassment. Joshi, however, has dismissed the current allegations surrounding his relationship with Modi as unfounded.

Madhuri Dixit shocked many by stepping away from acting at the height of her career to get married. In 1999, she tied the knot with Dr. Shriram Nene and relocated to Colorado, where they lived a quiet life away from the spotlight for several years. In 2011, the family, including their two sons, Arin and Ryan, returned to India. Recently, Madhuri, who appeared in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared her thoughts on moving abroad after marriage, saying she didn’t miss anything about her earlier life.

In an interview with Galatta India, Madhuri Dixit shared, “I was very happy because for me, the paraphernalia was not very important to me. I loved what I do. I love acting, dancing and everything to do with my profession. Anything else is just bonus like people considering you as a star. But I haven’t ever felt that way about me. So for me, it was never like, ‘Oh my god, I am going away from the public eye. I am getting married at the peak of my career.’ I never thought of it that way.”

She further explained, “I just thought I have met the right person for me. This is the man I want to marry and I am going to get married to this guy because everybody dreams for themselves. For me, it was like having a house, a husband, having family, and kids. I love kids. So, having kids was big part of that dream.”

The Saajan star shared, “When people say, ‘Oh, you were away, and didn’t you miss?’, I be like, ‘No, I didn’t miss because I was living my dream.”

Dr. Shriram Nene, speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia about his marriage to Madhuri Dixit, said, “I don’t know her like that (superstar). She is my wife and partner, and my encouragement to people is be what you always wanted to be and support the people with you. We are partners in a marriage where we look out for each other forever. If you develop that kind of relationship, it doesn’t matter what they did. I never knew her past history and she never knew mine. We came from very different worlds yet similar. Like sub-region Maharashtra, same kind of language and background. Neither of us thought that this would happen. I would say this is the most amazing thing in my life.”

Aamir Khan is working to repair his relationship with his daughter, Ira Khan. The actor shared that they are attending joint therapy to address and resolve their issues. In a Netflix India video, Aamir joined Ira and Dr. Vivek Murthy to discuss mental health.

During the chat Aamir said, “Therapy is so helpful. I think she (Ira) pushed me down that path. I would strongly recommend therapy to anyone who feels the need for it? It has been helpful for me. In fact, Ira and I also have started joint therapy. The two of us go to a therapist for our own relationship. To work on how to make that better and issues which have been there for over years.”

In a candid conversation on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast “Chapter 2,” Aamir Khan expressed regret over his absence from his children’s lives, which he believes contributed to his decision to leave the film industry.

Ajay Devgn dismissed the idea that the general audience is behind this obsession, saying, “I don’t think the movie-going audience is the one obsessing over this. It’s something created by the film industry or maybe some people outside of it. The general audience either likes the film or doesn’t. They don’t care about collections or numbers.”

Devgn pointed out that much of the hype is driven by social media. “When a trailer is released, and you see hundreds of thousands of comments. Who is actually writing them? Most real audiences don’t have time for that. They watch the movie, talk about it briefly—whether they liked it or not—and move on with their lives,” he added, questioning the origins of such intense scrutiny. Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh addressed the controversy surrounding the Telangana government’s ban on some of his songs during his electrifying Hyderabad concert on Saturday night. Despite the restrictions, the singer entertained a packed stadium, taking a humorous yet pointed approach to the censorship.

Telangana Govt’s Ban on Diljit’s Songs The Telangana government had earlier issued an order prohibiting Diljit from performing songs referencing alcohol, drugs, and violence during his Hyderabad concert. While performing, Diljit subtly criticized the decision without naming anyone directly.

Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was rushed to a Mumbai hospital on Saturday after experiencing health issues during a roadshow in Jalgaon as part of his campaign for the MahaYuti alliance. According to a report by IANS, the incident occurred while the actor was addressing voters in Pachora, one of the stops in his campaign across Muktainagar, Bodwad, Pachora, and Chopda.

Health Concerns During Campaign Initially, Govinda reported mild physical discomfort but soon began experiencing severe chest pain and leg discomfort. Following doctors' advice, he was urgently airlifted to a Mumbai hospital for immediate medical attention. His family accompanied him during the emergency transfer, and he received initial treatment upon arrival.

As of now, Govinda has not issued a statement about his condition, leaving fans and supporters concerned. Campaign for MahaYuti in Jalgaon Govinda has been an active supporter of the MahaYuti alliance, campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). During the roadshow, he encouraged citizens to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi by voting for the ruling coalition. Unfortunately, the actor had to cut short his event in Pachora due to his deteriorating health. Recent Health Scare: Gunshot Incident This recent health emergency comes just weeks after Govinda accidentally injured himself with a gunshot wound. On October 1, while cleaning his revolver at home, the weapon discharged, causing a bullet to hit his leg. The incident occurred early in the morning when Govinda was preparing to leave for an event in Kolkata. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Andheri for treatment.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has officially renounced his Canadian citizenship and embraced his Indian roots. The actor, known for his patriotic roles, made this decision last year and recently discussed it at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024.

A Heartfelt Connection to India When asked about the timing of his decision, Akshay humorously responded, “Not any baba, it was the blessings of my parents. Main chup chaap nikal gaya (I left without making a noise)." He further explained that he had applied for Indian citizenship during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the unversed, Akshay got his Indian passport just a couple of days before the India-Canada conflict. A Look Back at the Past The actor also shed light on the reasons behind acquiring Canadian citizenship in the first place. He stated, "My films were not working at the time. And all people should work, I was getting some work there with a friend on mine in cargo. But then two of my movies were up for release and they became hits. Then I got a bunch of more hits and forgot about it (Canadian citizenship).” A Strong Sense of Indian Identity Akshay emphasized his deep-rooted connection to India, saying, “I am an Indian from my mind, from my heart and from my soul. That will always be. So I never cared about that. But about 3-4 years back, I had said on this stage that I will give it up. It took some time and last year, exactly on 14th or 15th August, I got my passport.”

Bigg Boss 18, which has been focusing on way too many fights and arguments in the house, has left Salman Khan quite disappointed. The host, who has returned for the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, was seen questioning the attitude and anger issues of majorly two contestants – Digvijay Rathee and Avinash Mishra after their major showdown. In a recent promo, the actor is seen slamming them for the same and he is also seen questioning the attitude of a special guest Ashneer Grover who will join Bigg Boss for this episode.

In a recently released promo on social media, Salman Khan is seen giving an experiment to Digvijay Rathee and Avinash Mishra where the two are asked to tear a pair of denims. But when neither of them were able to achieve it, he questioned them about their alleged ‘rivalry’ within the house and the superstar host even went on to accuse them of maintaining this ‘enmity’ in order to stay in the limelight. Furthermore, the promo also introduced the arrival of Shark Tank judge and entrepreneur Ashneer Grover for a special episode with Salman Khan.

The superstar-host, who was in his elements, also took a jibe at Grover addressing an old podcast where the latter flaunted about signing Khan as an ambassador for one of the brands. “Mere baare me kehte huye suna hai that you have signed me. Sab figures bhi aapne galat bataye. Toh phir yeh dogalapan kya hai? (I heard you talking about signing me. You have also given all wrong figures. What kind of double standard is this?)”, Khan asked when Grover made his entry. The latter, however maintained his calmness and replied, “Aapko jo brand ambassador kia (Having signed you as the brand ambassador), I think that was one of the smartest moves”.

Salman Khan, however, continued to address his attitude, as he said, “Yeh jo attitude ab hai, tab wahan nahi dikha tha (This attitude that you are showing right here, it wasn’t the same back then)”. Khan referred to an interview where Ashneer Grover had recalled an incident where he told Khan’s manager to go to hell after the latter informed him that Salman had refused to take a photo with him.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Soundarya spoke about it and a lot more.

How has been the year for you? It’s been very overwhelming and very thrilling. It’s exciting to be a part of such a mega-franchise and to be featured alongside Akshay sir, Riteish sir and Abhishek sir. It has a humongous cast. As kids, we used to dance to the songs of multi-starrers and today, I am a part of one such film (smiles).

How did you bag the film? Did the Vimal ad help in any way? Yes, but I would say that everything is connected and helps you in some way. The ad played a major role in it. People have Godfathers in the industry. I have a God sister - Warda Nadiadwala (smiles). We were always good friends and they had seen me in Bigg Boss. Then the ad came out and it became the most controversial one. Also, Warda happened to see one of my showreels. One fine day, she called me up and asked to come over for tea. That’s when she told me that I am a part of Housefull 5. It was a surprise for me and I was overwhelmed.

It was a controversial ad but it grabbed eyeballs among the people and also the industry… Absolutely. There couldn’t have been a better opportunity for a newcomer like me who was trying for a foothold in the industry. Who would say ‘No’ to an ad like that? Also, not every big ad necessarily translates into bigger work. So many people are also doing such big ads. But this was an unprecedented one. I don’t remember anything of this sort happening to any actress or any newcomer. But translating into bigger work is always commendable.

Housefull 5 went on floors in mid-September. Hence, did you have a working birthday, on September 20? (Smiles) Oh yes, I did. I celebrated on the cruise and I had a great time. It was the kind of birthday I was always looking forward to in my life (laughs).

How was it to be on a cruise and shooting for this film? It was fantastic and more like a picnic. Everyone was so good. Akshay sir is so goofy. Riteish sir, too, is goofy and also very cute. I was treated like a superstar. I don’t remember anyone making me feel like a junior, except when they wanted to troll me and play pranks on me (laughs)!

Did you get to see the punctual side of Akshay Kumar and did that add any pressure? I am also punctual. Sometimes, I come and start the generator on the sets! Hence, for me, it was not a problem. And yes, he’s very punctual and there are so many things from him to learn from. There’s a reason why he's been a superstar for so many years.

Did your stay in the USA help you develop a sense of punctuality? No. It’s in my genes. I come from a family of teachers and IAS. I, myself, am a doctor. Toh humko time pe pahuchna hi hota hai. Hence, I am the first one in my team to reach anywhere. At times, I have even been told, ‘Aap thoda late aa jao’!

You were shortlisted for Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). Any plans to try for a role in a Hollywood project? Regarding Wonder Woman, I guess let bygones be bygones. But definitely, something is on the cards. I am flying to Los Angeles and France in January.

You said in an interview that you were also one of the shortlisted actors for a film that went to the Oscars. Was it Laapataa Ladies or All We Imagine As Light? I don’t want to name the film as it won’t be right on the part of the actor who got the role. I had actually thought that I’d be out of the Bigg Boss house in 4 weeks. But I never ever thought in my wildest dreams that I’d be there until the finale. So, God had His plans. Nevertheless, I went through a tough time as things were sorted for me then. But now I feel Housefull 5 is the best thing that has happened to me.

Can we expect a madcap entertainer from Housefull 5? Definitely. We are having a lot of fun while shooting. And I am the surprise package of Housefull 5 (smiles).

Is the shoot complete? No. We are still shooting.

What next apart from the project that you will begin shooting for in January 2025? I may have something in December. I may have signed a three-film deal; you never know! When things happen, people will get to know. Warna nazar bhi lag sakti hai. I am a little superstitious about it. Hence, when I start shooting, I talk about it.

Any final thoughts on your journey? I have worked hard. Difficult is an understatement coming this far. But my journey has just begun. You need that one person who holds your hand and gives you the platform. I am so grateful to Warda for doing that, especially in an industry where there are so many talented people.

Disha Patani and her family have come in news after her father Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jagdish Patani has filed a complaint against four individuals for fraud and duping him of a whopping Rs. 25 lakhs in the name of providing a high position in a government commission. The names of the accused that have come to light include Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Acharya Jayaprakash, Preeti Garg, among others. The police investigation is currently underway and an FIR has been lodged regarding the same at Kotwali police station in Bareilly.

Confirming the details, the in-charge of Kotwali police station DK Sharma was quoted saying to NDTV, “A case has been registered against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Acharya Jayaprakash from Juna Akhara, Preeti Garg, and one unidentified person for cheating, criminal intimidation, and extortion. Efforts are underway to arrest the accused and take strict action”. Meanwhile, as per reports, Jagdish Patani had invested a certain trust in Shivendra Pratap Singh whom he knew personally. The latter then introduced Patani to Jayaprakash and Diwakar when the conversation about getting him a high position started.

Furthermore, the accused assured Patani of having high-profile political contacts that will help him benefit and secure the offered position in the government commission easily. In order to gain his trust and reassure him regarding their credibility, reports suggested that the trio of Singh, Garg, and Acharya introduced a man named Himanshu as the ‘officer on special duty’ to Patani.

If that wasn’t all, the trio also took a lumpsum worth Rs. 25 lakhs wherein Rs. 5 lakhs were asked to be given in cash and Rs. 20 lakhs reportedly were transferred between three different accounts. However, when Jagdish Patani confronted them about returning the amount after seeing no progress in the matter for over three months, threats were issued to him, and it is being said that they also behaved aggressively. Owing to the matter getting out of hand, Patani decided to take legal and police action against the four individuals.

Amid fans who couldn’t stop gushing over cuteness, many believed that the couple just confirmed their relationship.

Ibrahim Ali Khan took to Instagram to share photos of him enjoying the sunset, spending quality time in the pool and some aesthetic photos of the food and location. Whereas, Palak Tiwari shared a video which included montages of her Maldivian shenanigans. The two of them also were seen enjoying a romantic candlelight setup which was posted by both in their respective posts. While Ibrahim dropped only emojis in his caption, Palak wrote, “A vacation girl”.

For the unversed, Palak Tiwari gained fame for featuring alongside a host of stars including Salman Khan in the actioner Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who worked as an AD with Dharma Productions, will be making his debut soon and has films like Sarzameen with Kajol and another untitled film allegedly named Naadaniyaan with Khushi Kapoor in the pipeline.
