Last week, reports came in that two youths sneaked into Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow Mannat. They were later caught and handed over to the police. Now, reports have emerged that the teenagers had remained hidden in one of the rooms in the bungalow and had given Shah Rukh Khan the shock of his life. As per a report in The Times Of India, the names of these trespassers are Pathan Sahil Salim Khan, aged 18, and Ram Khushuva, aged 19. While the former is a labourer, the latter is a vegetable seller. Both belong to Bharuch, Gujarat and they came to Mumbai on March 1 to see Shah Rukh Khan. On March 2, at 3:00 am, they reached Mannat and taking advantage of the scaffolding erected for repairs, they jumped inside the bungalow. The report further states that they entered the make-up room and remained there till 10:30 am. This is when Shah Rukh Khan entered this room and saw the duo. As expected, the superstar was left shocked and he immediately called a staffperson from his housekeeping team. They were handed to the security team and later were taken away by the police. The police kept them in their custody for a day and realized that they were no evidence of malicious intent. On Saturday, March 4, their parents arrived in Mumbai and secured their bail. A payment of Rs. 20,000 was done to release them from police custody. The parents claimed that they had no idea about the plans of the duo to come to Mumbai. Meawhile, the report claimed that Pathan Sahil Salim Khan and Ram Khushuva suffered minor injuries on their nose while scaling the compound wall of Mannat. Shah Rukh Khan’s housekeeping staff provided them with first aid and only then they were handed over to the police. Also Read: Two men break into Shah Rukh Khan’s home Mannat, case registered

Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji took a four-year break from acting after the birth of Adira before making a comeback with the 2018 movie Hitchki. Post this; she has appeared in several films. She successfully maintains a positive work-life balance. In an interview, Rani Mukerji spoke about her family making efforts when asked what type of effort she had to put out. Rani told Pinkvilla, “I think I would say efforts have been made from my family- whether it's my husband who has been so understanding and my daughter who has been so understanding. I would like to give them the credit. Because when I was in films and I was playing the role of a daughter to my parents, my parents were very supportive. They encouraged me to be in the field that I was in and they really looked after me while I used to have those grilling schedules and was working day and night. They were very supportive.” After a two-year hiatus, the actor is back this month with a new movie, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway. Rani plays an Indian woman living in Norway whose young children are taken away from her because she is deemed an unfit mother in the drama based on actual events. Rani revealed in a recent interview that her mother asked her to pursue acting when she was younger. Rani realized that by working, she would contribute to the improvement of her family's financial status, which was not excellent at the time. She said, “When I grew up, an offer came my way. My mother very politely put it to me that try it, if it doesn't work for you; you can go back to studies. Maybe I didn't realize at that time, the situation in my family was such that there was a need of financial help. But I didn't think of this much as this. No child thinks their parents aren't doing well.” She added, “The kind of lifestyle that my parents tried to give me and my brother, it was quite comfortable. I'm so glad that she did because I'm really in love with my profession today.” On the professional front, Rani was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring alongside Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh. She will be next seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway which features Anirban Bhattacharya, Jim Sarbh and Neena Gupta. The much awaited film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, is all set to release tomorrow in cinemas. Directed by Luv Ranjan, there's a lot of hype for the film due to the fresh pairing of Ranbir Kapoor with Shraddha Kapoor, youthful appeal and hit songs. Meanwhile, several reports have claimed that Kartik Aaryan features in a cameo in this romcom. But the makers never confirmed about it. Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that the speculations are true. A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Yes, Kartik Aaryan indeed has a fun special appearance. He appears in the film at a crucial point and his role will be loved by the moviegoers." And that's not all. The source continued, "Nushrratt Bharuccha also is seen in a hilarious special appearance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Both Kartik and Nushrratt began their careers and earned fame by working in Luv Ranjan's films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Hence, when Luv asked them to shoot for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, they were more than happy to be a part of it. Their presence enhances the madness quotient in the film." After Luv Ranjan and Ranbir Kapoor's recent statement on crossover, many are also speculating that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar's characters bump into the characters of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. However, the source clarified, "There's no such crossover happening. Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bharuccha are not essaying a role from any previous film. Like YRF Spy Universe or Rohit Shetty Cop Universe, Luv Ranjan hasn't started his own universe, yet." Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases in cinemas on March 8, 2023 worldwide. Ranbir Kapoor had recently said that he was keen to work with filmmaker Luv Ranjan after he saw the latter’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His wish finally came true with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which is all set to release day after tomorrow in cinemas. The romantic comedy sees him cast opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. But Bollywood Hungama has learnt that even before that film hits the screens, Luv has offered two more films to Ranbir. One of the two projects is the keenly looked forward biopic of the former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced in 2021. Ranbir also recently said that he is keen to don the role of the cricketer who is nicknamed Dada. Luv, however, won’t be directing the film, which is in the developmental stage right now. He will produce the project as he has the rights. The second film also sounds equally exciting. This yet-untitled movie will see Luv venturing into the action genre for the first. Interestingly, he was keen to cast Ajay Devgn with Ranbir in the film, but it got dropped because of date issues. Both actors were cast as brothers in the film. Coming back to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, the film is all set to release in cinemas during Holi on March 8. Sanjay Dutt is among those few Bollywood actors, who have also impressed the audience from the southern part of India. For the unversed, Dutt marked his debut in the Kannada film industry with K.G.F: Chapter 2. Recently, in a chat, Sanjay opened up on the Bollywood vs South debate and stated that segregating cinema is not right. It all happened when the Free Press Journal asked Sanju to comment on it. In his response, Dutt asserted, “I don't see this as South and Bollywood and North or East. Every movie made in this country is part of one cinema, which is Indian cinema. It should be like that and nothing else. We all are part of this one country, it's one team. Segregating cinema is not right. It's a whole industry and one big family, which is a good thing for Indian cinema. We represent the Indian film industry and everything is part of it. I don't believe in South, East, North, and West, it's all one family.” In the same interaction, Sanjay also spoke about cinema evolving over the decades, and said, “There used to be a time when we would have one paper and we would sign a film. There were so many insecurities and risks of finances, but that's not the case now. There are proper channels and you have everything documented. We would get the script and go in front of the camera right after that but now you have an entire script with you and you have practice sessions to prepare for your role.” He further added, “I am also very happy with the way we are using technology in films. We should never decline technology because that's the future. I am very happy to see films like Pathaan, and RRR doing well at the box office. These are fantastic films and movies like these should work. There are wonderful roles written for every actor and there are many opportunities for everyone who has talent.” Coming to the professional front, the 63-year-old actor has multiple projects in his kitty, including Baap, co-starring Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, and Mithun Chakraborty. Last year turned out to be the most eventful year of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s life with multiple happy news. He not only tied the knot with his lady love Alia Bhatt and welcomed their first child Raha Kapoor, but also delivered one of the biggest commercial successes of the year with Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva. With the amount of time invested in the Ayan Mukerji directorial, it won’t be wrong to say that Ranbir must have numerous memories from its shoot. Speaking of one such, Ranbir recently revealed that Brahmastra reminds him of his late father and actor Rishi Kapoor’s cancer treatment days. It all happened during his conversation with PTI, when Kapoor asserted, “When my father was suffering from cancer and was going through his treatment, I was working on Brahmastra and Shamshera at that time. When I see Brahmastra now, there are amazing memories, but there are certain scenes I see and I get reminded of moments... like 'Oh! At this time, he was having chemotherapy or he was on a ventilator.’” In the same interview, RK further added, “The biggest thing that happens in an individual's life is when you lose one of your parents. That really is something... Especially when you're nearing your 40s, that's the time when something like this usually happens... Nothing prepares you for that, but it brings the family closer. It makes you understand life.” Coming to the professional front, the 40-year-old actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming release, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The rom-com, slated to release on March 8, stars Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady. Meanwhile, comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi and producer Boney Kapoor will be making their acting debut with TJMM. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor revealed her vulnerable side in the most emotionally open conversation she has ever had at We The Women, the flagship festival curated by journalist Barkha Dutt. At the forum’s sixth edition, held on the ground in Jaipur and live-streamed on the digital platform Mojo Story, Janhvi Kapoor spoke candidly about coping with the loss of her mother Sridevi, seeking validation from the audience, and dealing with hurtful comments about her privilege. The conversation took an especially emotional turn as she spoke about Sridevi’s death and how she turned to work as a distraction. "I don't think I coped with it for a very long time. I don't think I went about it in the way I should have gone about it…. When we had her my life was completely different and when we lost her, I was bang in the middle of the shoot of my first film. It was almost as if the life I was leading before her death was an idealistic and fictional life… It was during COVID when I was forced to spend time with myself that I realised how damaged I was. I was almost like a zombie.. on a hamster wheel doing things I didn't even need to do, in a race that I didn't need to be in with myself and seeking the company of people that I didn't really even want in my life just to fill a void”, she said, choking up. She told Barkha Dutt of “the strange guilt” she felt in the aftermath of her mother’s death. “When I lost Mom, of course, it was this huge tragedy and a hole in my heart but there was this horrible feeling that because of my privilege and being told my entire life that I have got things so easy .. there was this weird guilt that I deserve this horrible horrible thing that's happened to me… This feeling was such a weird thing to process as a young girl,” the actor said. Janhvi said that she later realised that seeking validation from her audience after her mother’s death was displaced grief. "I think the validation and approval that I sought from my mother, I started seeking that from them.. Not everyone in the world is going to love you like they are your mother." When Barkha Dutt asked Janhvi Kapoor what she remembers when she closes her eyes and thinks of her mother, she said, “I just remember her calling me Ladoo. Every time I am on set and I am in front of the camera. I feel like in front of the camera is the closest I'll ever be to her [my mother]. That’s why it's such a sacred space for me.’” On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will next star in Bawaal and Mr and Mrs. Mahi. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were constantly in the news last month because of their dreamy wedding, after being in a relationship for a few years. The marriage became the talk of the town and its pictures got shared millions of times on social media as the fans just couldn’t get enough of it. It now seems that Sid and Kiara will be in the news this month too. Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Sidharth and Kiara are now all set to star in an unusual romantic comedy, which will be produced by their close friend and mentor Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. This is the second time that the two actors would be starring opposite each other after the acclaimed and successful Shershaah (2021). That film was an emotional saga as it was based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a martyr of the 1999 Indo-Pak war. We have also come to know that Sid is now in the mood to do a light-hearted film together with his wife, after an emotionally heavy film. Just like Shershaah, this yet untitled film was pitched by Sidharth to Johar. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The script has been locked by Sid and much like Shershaah, it’s he who approached Karan to get the movie rolling. This is a fun entertainer with a quirky touch to it and not emotional like Shershaah because Sid believes people want to see him and Kiara in a happy film.” The title and the rest of the crew are currently under wraps. After a brief period of fashion glory for her wedding outfits, the actress caught our eye once more in a stunning yellow co-ord set. Yellow has been high on the latter's choice of fashion colours, as she was once again spotted making her case in a dazzling yellow co-ord outfit for a slice event. Kiara Advani replaced Katrina Kaif, who was well-known for its advertising, as the new face of the mango drink company, Slice, on Friday. Kiara attended the Slice event and wore a yellow outfit to match the slice's bottle. Who doesn't enjoy a well-put-together appearance? Actress Kiara Advani is advocating for this point in a lovely yellow coordinated outfit, where there is an easiness to style that makes every day wear simpler. She displayed a bodycon skirt and bandeau top pair from the Dion Lee apparel line, which are both worthy of being plucked off the rack. The strapless top is referred to as the Mobius Bandeau Top and costs 55,565 while the bottom is known as the Gradient Rib Skirt and costs 68,639 (USD 840). (USD 680). Kiara paired it with a matching amber-yellow knit skirt that had an ankle-length hem, ribbed pattern, knee-high side slits, and a high-rise waist. As for the accessories, Kiara ultimately went with a sleek chain which read Slice, stacked gold bracelets, bold gold rings, and embellished floral-print killer high heels. The last finishing touches were side-parted open wavy hair, a glossy fuchsia lip colour, reddened cheekbones, a dewy base, darker feathery eyebrows, shimmering smoky eye shadow, mascara on the lashes, shining highlighter, and subtle contouring of the face. Ranbir Kapoor has been busy promoting Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film, which is releases in theatres in two days, marks his return to the romantic comedy genre. It also marks his third release within a year’s time. The actor misses his father, the late Rishi Kapoor, before his film’s release a lot. During the promotions, the actor admitted that he got emotional after seeing his father Rishi Kapoor in YRF’s docu-series The Romantics. Rishi Kapoor did his last interview for Netflix’s The Romantics, a docu-series celebrating filmmaker Yash Chopra, YRF’s legacy and its impact on Indian pop culture over the last 50 years! He had closely collaborated with Yash Chopra and then Aditya Chopra in cult hits like Kabhi Kabhie, Chandni, Jab Tak Hai Jaan (in which he was paired with his wife Neetu Kapoor), Fanaa, Hum Tum, etc. It marked his last on-screen camera interview after which he was admitted to the hospital and within a month’s time, he had passed away fighting the battle of leukemia. During a group interaction on Sunday, which Bollywood Hungama was a part of, Ranbir Kaoor said that he misses his father every day. The Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar star said, “I miss him a lot. I miss him every day. Especially now, I have seen The Romantics and hearing him talk I felt really emotional. I remember that day when he was shooting for the show - the next day, he was admitted to the hospital and we lost him in a month's time. Losing a parent is a very big deal in anyone's life. My phone's wallpaper still has him (Rishi Kapoor's photo).” Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases in theatres on March 8, 2023. Post-pandemic, cinema halls are finally witnessing audiences heading to the theatres. While the theatre experience is back, cinemas have been re-releasing movies on special occasions. On Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and late Dilip Kumar’s birthdays last year, cinemas re-released many of their iconic films for a limited time as fans flocked to the theatres to relive memories. Just this Valentine’s Day, movies like Jab We Met, Tamasha and many more movies were welcomed with open arms. It does seem like cinemas would like to continue this experience for fans and interestingly, this may increase the theatre going audience. With many films re-releasing, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar star Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he wants any of his films to be back on silver screen, with many wanting to re-watch Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. As Ranbir Kapoor is busy with promotions of his upcoming Holi release, the actor does feel cinema and content will always find its audience – if not during release then later on OTT. During a group interaction on Sunday, Bollywood Hungama asked Ranbir Kapoor if he wants any of his movies to be re-released on the silver screen and given a chance again for the audience to experience it, he says, “Cinema and content is such that it always somewhere finds its audience, if not, at the time of the release, maybe 10 years down the line. I remember, I mean I cannot compare that to my film but a film like say Guru Dutt’s film Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), which was a very big disaster when it was released, or Mera Naam Joker. But, today, Mera Naam Joker is the highest-selling film for RK Films. And you know, whenever it comes on television, or whenever people want the rights of RK Films, they speak about Mera Naam Joker. So films have their own destiny, and films will always find their audience.” Adding to that, Ranbir Kapoor picked Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year as the movie he would pick from his filmography that didn’t get much appreciation from the audience when it was released in theatres back in 2009. He says, “If I have to choose a film that didn’t work in my filmography, I would probably say Rocket Singh also. I don't think it's a very entertaining film. I also believe that if a film doesn't work when it releases and the audience is the key and they're never wrong, so there must be something wrong in the film at that moment, and it didn't work. But in hindsight, if you're sitting at home and if you watch Rocket Singh on OTT, maybe it's a great watch. Maybe if I had to make a film like Rocket Singh today, I should be intelligent enough and wise enough that ‘I should make this film for OTT and not for the cinemas.’ You don't waste people's time and money and release it on an OTT platform.” Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases in theatres on March 8, 2023. Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor. It all happened during her recent appearance on YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast The Ranveer Show. She candidly asserted, “2020 just got progressively worse. It started with a breakup and kept getting worse. It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet.” As the conversation progressed further, she briefly spoke about criticism of her performance in Love Aaj Kal and explained it didn't bother her much as she was not doing good on her personal front. “Sometimes, when you know you deserve the trolling or when something is really bad, the fact that it is on the internet is so incidental and so trivial compared to the fact that it happened, that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re heartbroken, miserable, exhausted, scared, nervous, it doesn’t matter what 20 people are reading about it when you are so disturbed yourself,” said the 27-year-old actress. Coming to the professional front, Sara was last seen in Atrangi Re, co-starring Dhanush. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film was released directly on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. She has a bunch of projects in her kitty including Gaslight, opposite Vikrant Massey. The Pavan Kirpalani directorial is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family issues remain in the headlines. The actor and his wife Aaliya have been making headlines after Aaliya claimed that she was being harassed at Nawazuddin’s house after his mother filed a complaint against her over a property dispute. She was at his Andheri house after she returned from Dubai with her kids. However, Nawazuddin’s lawyer had claimed that Aaliya was still married to her first husband, Vinay Bhargav. Now, a video has gone viral in which she has claimed that she and her kids were kicked out of the house. She also said that she simply had Rs. 81 with her. In the viral video, Aaliya was heard saying, “I just came from Nawazuddin's house and there (points out in a distance) you can see my daughter who is crying. We were thrown out of his bungalow and we have been told we cannot enter. I cannot understand where should I go with my kids. I just have Rs 81 with me - no house to go to, and no money.” The video also saw Shora Siddiqui, Nawazuddin’s daughter crying. Aaliya further said, “I do not know, how can Nawazuddin behave in such a manner. Nawazuddin, I can never forgive you for what you are doing to my kids. I just want to show, to all of you, how my kids are suffering at this late hour in the night. It is midnight, and I am stranded in the streets. I do not know where I should go with my kids.” She also claimed that her kids slept on the floor of a relative's house. As reported by Hindustan Times, responding to Aaliya’s claims, sources close to Siddiqui said, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui has said that she was not allowed to enter the house but the truth is Nawazuddin has already named the property on his Ammi, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, so Nawaz is devoid of any decision-making power on anyone's entrance in the property. The caretaker of Mehrunisa Siddiqui states that only her grandkids are allowed in the property and no one else as the property belongs to her now.” “Other than this, in a recent viral video in which Aaliya was seen claiming that she does not have any other place to stay or go is technically wrong. To clarify the fact, Nawaz has already bought a lavish flat for Aaliya in Mumbai in 2016 which she has given for rent of her own will. Also, as we clearly see in this video, it is visible that no one is removed from the property as claimed by Aaliya and it is also very evident that the kids were never stopped to enter the property,” sources further told the publication. While speaking with ETimes, about the recent claims made by Aaliya, Shamas Siddiqui said, “As we speak, they are waiting outside the gate. The police are apparently going to help them to get inside. Aaliya stayed with her bhanji (niece) Shivani last night and she is present with them. Their maid is also with them.” Talking about the ancestral bungalow belonging to his mother, he said, “That’s not true. They have done a false Gift Deed in the name of our mother, which has been only notarized. A Gift Deed is meant to be registered. The bungalow in question belongs to Nawaz." Furthermore, advocate Rizwan Siddiquee, who appeared for Aaliya Siddiqui, told the Bombay High Court that the “situation in the house is so hostile” and he was not able to speak to his client. As per India Today, for this reason, he was “not able to file a reply to the habeas corpus (produce the person) petition of the actor.” While there are reports claiming property dispute, a day ago, it was reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui reportedly transferred the land of Budhana village located in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, to his brothers. He signed the papers at sub registrar’s office and granted the power of attorney to one of his brothers. As per a report in News18, “Advocate Prashant Sharma told the media that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given the power of attorney for all his ancestral property to his brother Almasuddin. This way, he has handed over all the rights of his land to his brother. In the second document, he has made a will that he will have the right to his share of the property as long as he is alive. After him, the property will be in the names of brothers Almasuddin, Majuddin and Minhajuddin Siddiqui. After signing all these documents, the actor left for Delhi by car.” ALSO READ: Nawazuddin Siddiqui dowry case dismissed by Mumbai court

The 95th Academy Awards is around the corner and it has created a lot of buzz. From bagging a couple of nominations to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone being one of the presenters, India has multiple reasons to rejoice in this year’s Oscars Awards. While many are going to step on this stage for the first time, Indian music maestro AR Rahman has already been there and lifted an award back in 2009. Refreshing our memory, the Academy's official Instagram handle gave a glimpse of Rahman's Oscars acceptance speeches. In the video, Rahman also recalled how people “misinterpreted” his acceptance speech while it has nothing to do with “any religion.” It all happened when he spoke about his surreal experience of winning two Oscars for Slumdog Millionaire in 2009. In the video, Rahman asserted, “I went to all these amazing dinners before the Oscars. But still, I was unsure, and the whole of India was cheering. I felt like a gladiator. When they announced my name for the score, I was like, “Is this real? Or is this a dream? And because I had to perform next, I was like “A.R., don’t react. There’s this and more. Don’t mess up your performance.” As he continued, the 56-year-old musician also talked about his acceptance speech, which he delivered after receiving the second award on the same night for the Best Song award with Gulzar for ‘Jai Ho’. For the unversed, he had said, “All my life, I had a choice of hate and love. I chose love and I’m here. God Bless,” in his speech in 2009. Commenting on the same, the Grammy Award winner told, “The second time when they announced my name for the best song, I had said in the speech that the essence of the film is optimism and hope, because the world was going through that economic depression, and Slumdog Millionaire was done in a way that anybody who sees it would feel high.” Explaining his take further, he added, “Some people have misinterpreted that statement over some religion and this and that, which is not true. This is the state of every artist in the world and that’s what makes them the artist. They want to give and love is about giving, not taking.” A.R. Rahman (@arrahman) reflects on winning the Oscar for Best Original Song and Score for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ at the 81st #Oscars. pic.twitter.com/Hry5GmTBzK — The Academy (@TheAcademy) March 2, 2023 Coming back to this year, the 95th Academy Award will be held on March 12 at Los Angeles' Dolly Theatre. The internet has been on fire ever since it came to light that the next instalment of Hera Pheri is going on floors very soon. On February 21, the lead cast of the film – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal – along with producer Firoz Nadiadwala were spotted shooting for the film’s promo. In no time, the picture went viral as the third part of this iconic franchise is highly awaited. A few days ago, another image took the netizens by storm. It showed Akshay Kumar, Farhad Samji and Ahmed Khan holding a clapper. Interestingly, two versions of this photo are available online and it has created a lot of madness, or should we say, hera pheri! As per one picture, the name of the film on the clapper is Hera Pheri 4. But another picture has surfaced that mentions the name of the film as Hera Pheri 3! It has led to confusion about the real title of the film. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “There’s speculation that the next part will be called Hera Pheri 4. However, it doesn’t make sense as it’s the third instalment. Then, how can it be called Hera Pheri 4? However, Akshay Kumar can be seen holding a placard that says Hera Pheri 4. But another image on the internet shows the clapper with the title Hera Pheri 3. Is one of the pictures photoshopped? Or are the makers shooting both Hera Pheri 3 and Hera Pheri 4 simultaneously, like Baahubali and KGF?” The source further said, “A section of media has speculated that the film will be called Hera Pheri 4. Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, in their interviews, have always addressed the film as Hera Pheri 3. As the famous memes from Phir Hera Pheri (2006) goes, ‘Mujhe chakkar aa raha hai’! There’s too much excitement and madness going around. I guess, let’s just wait for the official confirmation.” Speaking about the franchise, Hera Pheri (2000), directed by Priyadarshan, was a tale of a landlord and his tenants who go from rags to riches. In the sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, directed by Neeraj Vora, the trio goes from riches to rags. Both films are iconic in the world of memes and as a result, there has been a huge demand for the third part. Priyanka Chopra, along with Nick Jonas, has partnered with Jonas Brothers and Rob’s Backstage Popcorn co-founder, Rob Garbowsky, to create a new flavour of her own inspired by Indian spices called Priyanka’s Mumbai Nights. She even participated in terms of creating the popcorn bag. “Indian food is so diverse and Indian spices are so diverse, they all lead to another journey,” Priyanka Chopra told PEOPLE. "I wanted it to have a little bit of a kick, but not to be like chilli spicy. So it's heavy on cumin, onion, garlic, turmeric and red peppers. It's a very interesting spice mix, and it's very unique to our popcorn.” “If you walk into our kitchen, you'll see a space where all our favourite snacks for the month are given a prominent position, and I wanted to make the bag something which would be beautiful, that you'd want to display, which I think it is,” she added. “I made the writing sort of this muted gold because it's so good, and the colour is spearmint because that's just one of my favorite greens, and I just think it's super chic looking.” The actress further added, “Mumbai is chaotic and seductive at the same time. And that's why I called it Mumbai Nights because the humid, seductive, sexy Mumbai nights were sort of the inspiration behind the flavour for me.” Priyanka Chopra got to create the new flavor with her husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas. “Nick and I, as much as we have our individual careers and lives, we end up inspiring the work that we both do because I mean, you come back home and you're having dinner and you're talking about your day and it becomes one in a way. So working with Nick is very easy,” she said. “So far,” Chopra teased, adding, “We're always on the same page and it's just so fun because this is my best friend and someone that knows me more than anyone else. I could absolutely and wholly be myself and be completely honest with how I feel and not be worried about complications that you have with work colleagues. This is my person, so it makes it so much easier.” Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, Priyanka wrote, “This has been a hard secret to keep… one of my favourite snacks inspired by one of my most favourite cities in the world… a match made in heaven or in this case, made in the secret Labs of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn. T-Series and Chalk N Cheese Films’ upcoming drama SRI is all set to release on 15 September this year. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar, the film is the biopic of the visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla. The film marks south actress Jyotika’s return to Bollywood after a long hiatus. Sharing more about the Tushar Hiranandani directorial venture, an official statement from the makers said, “Written by Jagdeep Sidhu and Sumit Purohit, pictured by Pratham Mehta, SRI is a biopic of an industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who didn’t let his visual impairment come in the way of his vision and founded Bollant Industries.” Speaking about his excitement to back SRI, Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series, had earlier said, “Srikanth Bolla’s story testifies the very proverb of acing against the odds. Having faced so many challenges since birth, yet not letting anything hamper his dreams - his journey is truly inspirational. And it's indeed a privilege to be associated with a person like him. The personality of this character is such that only an actor of a calibre like Rajkummar Rao can justify it and we are happy to have such a fine actor on board. Tushar Hiranandani’s vision to showcase this captivating story is very peculiar. As we are thrilled to make this film, we are equally excited for the audiences to witness this compelling story of Srikanth!” Rajkummar was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Monica, O My Darling, which also starred Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte and Sikandar Kher. The dashing and talented director Abhinay Deo is on a roll currently. His web series, Brown, starring Karisma Kapoor and backed by Zee Studios, has emerged as the only Indian show to be part of Berlin Market Selects 2023, which was held during the 73rd annual Berlin International Film Festival. Currently in London, the filmmaker exclusively spoke to Bollywood Hungama about this honour and a lot more. Except for Doosra, all your projects till now, be it Game (2011), Delhi Belly (2011), the TV show ‘24’ (2013), Force 2 (2016), Blackmail (2018) and Brown have had English titles. Is this intentional? Not at all. I actually never thought about this (laughs)! But it was just the kind of scripts that I chose. In ‘24’, I could not change the title as it was the adaptation of an international series of the same name. And what made you title the show Brown? Is it because the lead protagonist is named Rita Brown? Or is there any other reason? It is primarily the character’s name. But yes, the series talks about the different shades that a human being has. It’s not just a thriller or a murder mystery. It makes an in-depth analysis of how people are. They are neither white nor black. While that was one of the thoughts, the show was named Brown only because of the lead character. Was it difficult or easy to get Karisma Kapoor on board? The kind of role that we had, the actor had to be somebody who is of a certain age, who is a fine actor and who is not a conventional choice. All her life, Karisma has done very glamorous roles. In her prime, she played different characters but they were all glamorous. So it was a great idea to strip the glamour off and make her into something so real as a character. Initially, yes, it was difficult to convince her. She was contemplating whether Brown is the right project for her. But once we sat down and talked about the character and my expectations, it was a no-brainer for her. Brown is entirely set in Kolkata. Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani (2012) has set a benchmark as it showed the City of Joy like never before. Did it play in your mind that you have to ensure that you show Kolkata in a way that it stands out from Kahaani or the rest of the thrillers set in Kolkata? No, it wasn’t in my mind. Kahaani was a fantastic film and I don’t approach films that way. I consider what the script and the characters demand and how the city needs to play an important role. In Brown, there’s a reason why it’s set in Kolkata. It is a rare city which is a metro and yet, behaves like a small town in many ways. At the same time, it encompasses different cultures. Bengalis, Marwaris, Biharis, Anglo-Indians etc co-exist in Kolkata. There are a lot of varied cultures and you can see their impact on the city. That’s what interested me to go with Kolkata. It had nothing to do with the way it was shot. I am anyway not a fan of shooting a city by showcasing its tourist attractions. Agar aapko Howrah Bridge dekhna hai toh Incredible India ka ad dekh lo (laughs)! Even in Delhi Belly, we didn’t show India Gate or Qutub Minar. I feel that a city is not its monuments. The city is its people and its underbelly. That’s what I’d rather show and also culturally, what the city stands for. Two locations that stood out for me in Brown were the tram depot where people are shown living in the trams and the scene where we see the informer operating from a very intriguing location… The second place was Tangra (aka Chinatown). The very fact that you mentioned it is a success for us! Earlier, Tangra used to be quite fascinating but now it is a dying part of Kolkata. I wanted that to be an element. Meanwhile, every filmmaker who goes to Kolkata feels obligated to shoot a scene in trams. The tram culture, however, is almost gone. In the next two years, trams will be obsolete. So, what happens to these trams? Interestingly, they are standing in a yard and poor or homeless people have started living in it. So, we decided to focus on that. How important is the Berlinale honour for you? We make films not just for ourselves. We make it for a large section of the audience. And getting accolades from a reputed festival makes you feel that you are heading in the right direction. There’s a commercial side and there’s an aesthetic side to any content. Both being praised is a feat. Brown is not out to the public. So we’ll know shortly how they receive it. But having a pat on the back from the very respected Berlinale is a very big feather in our cap. It makes us feel proud and happy. How many episodes of Brown were screened at Berlinale? We showed two episodes. The show is under production and we were only ready with the first two episodes. When will Brown be released to the public? It is in process and we are at the tail end of the post-production. Shortly, we shall make an announcement in this regard. Several web series end on a cliffhanger. Can we expect that in Brown and are there any plans for Brown’s sequel? Certainly, there is. We would hate to have such great characters created not being used to their maximum potential. So, we have our plans for part 2. Time will tell how it goes. You are about to shoot your next film in London. Could you share details? Not at the moment. It is not even named yet and hence, it’ll be difficult for me to share. Will the title be in English? Let’s hope not (laughs)! On a serious note, it’s a drama thriller and I am hoping that the audience will find it interesting. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan made a remarkable debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial, Kedarnath in 2018. In fact, her second outing, Simmba, also performed well at the box office. However, her last big screen release, Love Aaj Kal, and other OTT releases, Coolie No 1 and Atrangi Re, failed to meet the audience's expectations. Recently, the actress opened up about giving flops during a conclave. As per a report by Easter Eye, addressing the same, the 27-year-old actress asserted, “As an actor, we learn a lot every day. And our journey also involves the same. I always try to learn something or the other. But I also feel that I have made some mistakes. I have done such films, which have not been loved by the audience. But then again, this is my age to make mistakes.” She further explained, “Also, I feel that it’s important to fall down to get up every time. And I have had my own set of setbacks. Moreover, I have learned that making mistakes is a part of the journey and I think I have to make allowance for that.” Coming to the professional front, Sara was last seen in Anand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The film received a mixed response. She has a bunch of projects in her kitty, including Gaslight, Ae Watan Mere Watan, and Metro In Dino. A few weeks back, Sara started preps for filmmaker Homi Adajania’s next project, Murder Mubarak. Manoj Bajpayee has carved a niche for himself in Hindi cinema and is known as one of the finest artistes of his time. He has also been someone who has maintained a balance between mainstream commercial cinema and off-beat flicks. If one looks back at his filmography of the last decade or so, one would notice that he has worked mostly with new or relatively new or unestablished filmmakers. During the recently concluded Arth Culture Fest in New Delhi, Bajpayee shared the reason for being away from well-known filmmakers. “It’s been years since I stopped working with famous directors. I would try and work with new voices, who were telling stories in new ways. This is how I ended up doing films like Budhia Singh, Gangs of Wasseypur, Missing, Special 26, Gali Guleyan, Rukh, Bhosle, and now Joram and Gulmohar.” Sharing the reason for the same, the actor added, “The reason I want to work with new directors is that these people are young, they have new ideas. Their expectations from their actors are completely different. As an actor, I always want to keep evolving, and this bothers me. Elaborating further, Bajpayee said, “If I keep working with older filmmakers, I won’t evolve. These new directors have grown up on world cinema. They haven’t grown up watching only Hindi films. They watch Malayalam films, they watch Tamil films, they watch Telugu films, they watch European films, American films. This is good for me, because they challenge me, they bother me, they don’t let me sleep. They want me to distance myself from what I’ve done in the past.” Bajpayee will next be seen in the film Gulmohar, which will release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 3. Directed by Rahul Chittella, the film also stars Sharmila Tagore and Suraj Sharma. After literally waiting for years, the official announcement of the third film in the Hera Pheri franchise happened last month. The film will see the return of the famous trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the roles of the iconic characters Raju, Ghanshyam aka Shyam and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte respectively. Shetty has penned a long note expressing his happiness on the green signal for the third film in the series, which is called Hera Pheri 4. In a LinkedIn blog post, the actor wrote, “So Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening! Look forward to being back on set with Pareshji and Akki (Akshay). Like all good things, this one took some time, but it’s a relief to finally have an answer to this question! Films are such a huge part of our culture, and yet, not many understand what goes into making a film. Apart from creative challenges, the business model and needs of the movie business make it as challenging as any other.” While elaborating on the process of making a film, Shetty added, “But let's just say having a good script, a set of actors and a director is literally just the start point. There’s the financing of a movie. It’s usually studios or production houses, which invest their own capital. Their teams assess the viability of a project before deciding on the budget.” Speaking about his own understanding of the complex process of making films, Shetty concluded saying, “33 years and 125 films later I don’t have it all figured out, but I will keep getting better at it.” Titled, Hera Pheri, the first film released in 2000 and it was directed by Priyadarshan. The sequel, titled Phir Hera Pheri, was helmed by the late Neeraj Vora and it released in 2006. Hera Pheri 4 will be directed by Farhad Samji. The much-talked-about Netflix docu-series The Romantics, which is a tribute to the legacy of Yash Chopra & YRF and their cultural impact on India and Indians for the past 50 years, was released on Feb 14 to unanimous acclaim and love. The national over-pouring of love for Yash Chopra and YRF was evident as The Romantics became the Number 1 trending title on Netflix within 48 hours of its drop, a rare feat for a documentary! The docu-series pays homage to Sridevi, the iconic Yash Raj Films heroine who made the entire country fall in love with her in the cult Yash Chopra romantic blockbuster - Chandni! Speaking of the same, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar lauded the late actress. The late Yash Chopra is seen revealing why he wanted to make a pristine love story for audiences. He says, “Our industry had reached the saturation point of violence. I said okay, now I’ll do the biggest gamble of my life whatever happens. I won’t make a film with formulas, with calculations. I will make a film which will touch my heart. I started Chandni.” However, the legendary Yash Chopra’s career was at a low then, having delivered some unsuccessful films. So, it was not easy for him to sign Sridevi, who in her prime was considered bigger than the heroes of India. Even though he had never worked with Sridevi, Yash Chopra admitted that he was impressed by the Tamil drama Moondram Pirai that Amitabh Bachchan had shown him. Anil Kapoor reveals, “Sridevi was the top star at that time. He didn’t know how to approach her. He asked my brother (Boney Kapoor) to speak to her. So, my brother flew down to Chennai to talk to her mother. It didn’t matter to her who Yash Chopra is, who has made such great films, it was just the money.” Chandni’s success was a watershed moment for Yash Chopra & YRF’s destiny and Sridevi’s brilliance in Chandni has inspired the leading ladies of our times to follow in her footsteps to deliver path-breaking performances on screen. Rani Mukherji says, “Like every woman wanted to be Sridevi. She was the epitome of grace, beauty, and performance. She was just everything, that a Hindi film actress needed to have.” About her memory of Sridevi as Chandni, Bhumi Pednekar says, “Oh my, God. She was just so fantastic and beautiful, and vulnerable, but she was still so womanly.” Even the men were enamoured by Sridevi’s beauty, grace, and acting acumen in Chandni. However, Hrithik Roshan, who has been very close to the Chopra family, reveals the mood pre-release. He says, “It was the premiere (of Chandni). Then, we heard reports - mixed reports that it was not doing well, or some people did not like it. So, I remember being a part of that conversation and feeling the jitters.” Of course, the rest is history as Chandni is regarded as one of the biggest all-time blockbusters in the history of Hindi cinema! From Aamir Khan to Salman Khan, from Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, from Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, from Rani Mukerji to Hrithik Roshan, from Katrina Kaif to Anushka Sharma, the mega-stars and icons of Hindi cinema have come together and spoken about Yash Chopra and YRF’s contribution to Indian cinema in The Romantics. The Romantics has been directed by Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Smriti Mundhra, who returns to Netflix after the phenomenal success of Indian Matchmaking and the Never Have I Ever franchise. Netflix, in this four-part docu-series, will also feature 35 leading personalities from the film industry, who have closely worked with YRF through its 50-year glorious existence. Sobhita Dhulipala, who is one of the self-made stars in Bollywood, recently has been busy promoting the web series The Night Manager. The actress, who has been a part of some prestigious projects like Ponniyin Selvan, opened up about the kind of transition and culture-shock she experienced as a teenager who shifted from Vizag to Mumbai. Recalling her initial days of modelling and giving auditions for TVCs (Television Commercials), Sobhita revealed that she was rejected as a background model for the skin and haircare brand L’Oréal and then later, being signed on as one of their brand ambassadors. During her interview with Mashable India, Sobhita Dhulipala discussed her journey, starting from her early modelling days to becoming an actress. In the same, she opened up about how she faced several rejections because she didn’t fit the conventional standards of beauty. She said, “I never got even one because they told me I was not pretty or appealing”. The actress went on to add that during her college days, she did not believe that she was good-looking because she felt out-of-place in terms of fashion and style. So when she got rejected from modelling assignments, she would often believe it to be true because she was not confident about her looks. She added, " I was like, ‘Yes, obviously,' bachpan ka woh trauma tha, woh sach bol raha hai (because of my childhood trauma, I believed that they were saying the truth).” Sobhita went on to recall about her L’Oréal experience saying, “Mujhe voh bhi nahi mila (I did not even get that).” She continued, “Background mein bhi reject kia tha (They rejected me as a background model also).” She concluded the experience, “I was with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, passing shampoos, doing the ad, and I just felt it’s nice to be here,” she said. Coming to her recent project The Night Manager, the web show is a remake of John le Carré’s novel by the same name and stars Aditya Roy Kapur as well as Anil Kapoor as the two essential characters with Sobhita’s role as Kaveri acting as a crucial catalyst. The show is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Also Read: Anil Kapoor confesses he was “nervous to a certain extent” while performing with The Night Manager co-star Sobhita Dhulipala

Last week, Bollywood Hungama reported that there could be a change in the release date of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The makers of the Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer were contemplating releasing the film on Tuesday, March 7, instead of Wednesday, March 8. The thought emerged as the makers thought that it’ll be wise to take advantage of the Holi holiday in several states on March 7. However, we have not learnt that the prepone plans have been dropped. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “There is no change in the plan. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will release on March 8, as originally scheduled.” The source further said, “A lot of last-minute prep is going on with the film and the makers feared that releasing a day earlier might add a lot of stress to the already overworked team. Moreover, even internationally, the plan was locked for March 8. Hence, a decision was taken to release Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar on March 8.” The source added, “The makers are confident of a healthy opening, though it’ll be a working day in several states on March 8. But thanks to considerable hype and youthful appeal, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar can score on the partial holiday on Wednesday. And let’s not forget that Women’s Day also falls on March 8 and that can further boost the footfalls.” A trade expert quipped, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will enjoy a five-day weekend and then there’s limited competition till the release of Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa. If the film clicks with the audience, it’ll be the second hit of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.” Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar also stars Dimple Kapadia and Anubhav Singh Bassi. Producer Boney Kapoor makes his full-fledged acting debut with this rom-com. It is directed by Luv Ranjan, of Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) fame. Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman made her Instagram debut on February 11, 2023. The actress now has a family of 87.5K on Instagram and still counting. Unlike many other Bollywood celebs, Zeenat did not stick to just general posts. She made her Instagram as a platform for her to share yesteryear experiences with the audience. Her Insta fam is in complete awe of her significant posts. In her recent post, she revealed that she wanted to make her Instagram account meaningful. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “We are over 81,000 strong now on this page, and I am so touched by all of your comments, shares, messages and love. I am also just gobsmacked by the sheer geographic diversity of my well-wishers. It is physically impossible for me to respond to each person who writes in, but I do see and appreciate your words. Please accept a warm thank you from me. Over the past week, my boys and I have been discussing the purpose of my presence here. As well as how to use Instagram as more than just a platform for my memories, work and vanity. So I think, once in a while, I will take to Instagram to spotlight causes, issues or organisations that I feel hold meaning for society as a whole. I only stumbled upon my love for animals quite late in life, with the adoption of our first dog Raphael in 2006. Raffy’s love transformed me, and taught me to look at all animals with a kinder eye. Sadly, this also meant acknowledging how poorly most species are treated. Animal welfare is certainly something I will be talking about here. Other causes will vary, but for today I encourage you to follow @pari.network that brings out stories from rural India. I specifically chose PARI today because I see the evaporation of authentic rural stories from mainstream storytelling, and am aware of how much news space even the most banal celebrity updates occupy. I’m glad to be here with all of you. Bye now! ???? Picture by @tanyyaa.a_” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zeenat Aman (@thezeenataman) Reacting to the post, a user commented, “o happy to see you in the Gram! You are my all time favorite actress! Your beauty, fashion sense and intelligence and progressive attitude broke barriers for all the actresses that came ayer you! You are so original and we’re a breath of fresh air when you came to Bollywood movies!” while another user wrote, “Also, some posts, perhaps, on tutoring us on how to communicate respectfully, how to articulate without being too verbose, but be straight as an arrow at the same time. I’ll pay premium prices for such classes, buy new stationery, take notes religiously and keep them notes in the bank locker, for these would be my most prized possessions.” A commented read, “So so glad to have you here on IG, Zeenat ji! For numerous reasons, we are presented such one-dimensional versions of women in the film industry. With every post, the way you share your thoughts and musings and passions, it becomes clearer that an articulate, 'real' woman sparks so many ideas and inspiration. Many false structures would get demolished the instant women are just able to connect and have the conversations we were always going to have if not for insecure men calling the shots :),” “Zeenath Maam believe me im such a great fan of you... Every week I keep a song of you on my whatsapp status. .. MaShaAllah maam may Allah Give you best of health... Love you Maam,” read another comment. Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. The evening's red carpet was up a notch by the presence of many more guests. Rashmika Mandanna followed, and with her moment of making a statement in style, she stood out from the throng. Rashmika chose a strapless, short black dress with a straight hem. The tiny dress had two patterns, with the black lace overlay covering a beige inner. It resulted in a flowing train behind her and an exaggerated cold shoulder design on one arm, both made of a metallic black fabric. Rashmika wore simple heels with a transparent strap and gold anklet accents. There were only a few rings and stud earrings in her jewellery collection. Rashmika made the perfect decision in opting for an updo since it put the spotlight squarely on her face and neckline rather than concealing them.
