Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan on Monday launched his luxury brand. The starkid along with co-founders Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva forayed foray into the luxury lifestyle business by unveiling D'YAVOL, their passion project. The three entrepreneurs aim to bring consumers the best global experiences and authentic products across fashion, beverages, and exclusive events.

Speaking to Vogue India about how his parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan felt about his first venture, Aryan revealed, “The commonality between the family is that they believe in following what you’re passionate about. My mom is a producer, but she loves interior design. She’s made a successful business out of it because she loves doing it. My dad is an actor, but he also has a VFX studio and a production company, and because we loved sports, we got into it about 10 years ago. Now, there’s a global sporting franchise that’s expanding and doing really well. It’s not like you can either do this or that. I believe that if you like something and feel that there’s an opportunity that presents itself and a void you can fill, you can do a multitude of things.”

He stated, “My parents are extremely encouraging about the new venture. When you know what you’re passionate about, you can make it your business. Because then the business isn’t business anymore, it’s personal. And when business is personal, that’s when it really flourishes."

As reported earlier, D’YAVOL will be rolling out a series of exciting launches in the months to come, starting with a premium beverage brought to consumers in partnership with AB InBev India, closely followed by the unveiling of a limited-edition capsule apparel collection. Through 2023 and beyond, the brand will broaden their reach with a number of luxury lifestyle products offerings.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan is currently working on his first screenwriting and directorial project, with production on the series scheduled to commence in early 2023 through Red Chillies Entertainment.

Ranbir Kapoor delivered a flop in the form of Shamshera this year. But he compensated for it big time with the super-success of Brahmastra. His next film, directed by Luv Ranjan, has also generated considerable hype. It will see Ranbir being paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. Moreover, it marks Ranbir Kapoor’s comeback into the romcom space after a long time. In this genre, he has delivered successful films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) etc. Hence, the Luv Ranjan-directorial is considered to be one of the promising films of 2023.

Yesterday, the team of the film made an interesting promotional move by revealing just the initials of the title – TJMM. The fans were asked to guess the title. They also assured that the title will be unveiled today, December 14, at 11 am. As expected, fans and also a section of media went into overdrive, trying to guess what TJMM can mean.

Bollywood Hungama came across a source who claims to know the full form of TJMM. The source claims, “It is said that the film’s title is Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Luv Ranjan is known for quirky titles like Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) when it comes to his directorial ventures. Hence, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar goes with the Luv Ranjan tradition of having titles that excite viewers as much as the film’s trailer and songs.”

A few other names thrown up by other sources are Tu Jhootha Main Makkaar, Tu Jhakaas Main Makkaar and Tu Juliet Main Majnu. Which title turns out to be the right one will be known to the world with the official announcement today at 11:00 am.

Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Luv Ranjan’s film also stars Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. Ranbir Kapoor recently attended a session at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia, where he spoke about this film and said that it might be one of his last romcoms. He stated, “I don't know it is probably going to be one of the last romantic comedies I do because I am getting older.”

As per the announcement made by the makers last year, the Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer will release in cinemas on March 8, 2023, that is, on the festival of Holi.

Ali Fazal, who has had a great 2022 with his recent wedding with co-star Richa Chaddha, seems to be quite excited for the next year. With an interesting lineup projects, we hear that Ali will begin 2023 with the shoot of the Anurag Basu directorial, Life in a Metro 2 which is titled Metro In Dino which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur. It is being said that the actor will join the shoot schedule in the later part of January 2023.

The film is an anthology that consists of four loving and heartwarming intertwined stories and Ali will be playing one of the lead characters in one of these stories. Confirming the details, a source said, “Anurag had been planning to make the sequel for a long time but it was during the first lockdown during the pandemic that he got an idea. He started working on the script and simultaneously his search for the casting began. It's going to be a 4 part film linking to each other at some point. Anurag da has done a remarkable job in Ludo conjoining 4 different stories bringing all of it together at a certain point. Life in a Metro 2 will have a similar flavour but will be treated in a different style.”

The first installment of the Anurag Basu directorial, Life in a .. Metro was released in 2007. It featured an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut and Sharman Joshi in lead roles.

On the other hand, the sequel, Metro In Dino will feature Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Konkana Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, among others along with Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Just yesterday, Bollywood Hungama reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's upcoming romance drama is finally getting its title. In fact, as per our report, the film's name would be unveiled on December 14. While the name itself will be announced tomorrow, the makers along with the director of the film Luv Ranjan unveiled the first teaser poster on Tuesday and asked the fans to guess the name of the film.

Luv Films tweeted a vibrant poster with a caption that read, "And the title is……Guess Karo ???" The hint on the poster has the initials TJMM.

According to a source close to the development, Luv Ranjan will surprise the audience with a title announcement on December 14. "Yes, the wait is finally over. Luv Ranjan will announce the title of his much-awaited film with a special quirky video on December 14. It's going to be a digital launch for this video, and the same will be played in multiplexes all across from December 16,” a source informed Bollywood Hungama.

The title has been kept under wraps and all the sources close to Luv Ranjan and Ranbir Kapoor are refusing to utter a word about the title. “It’s a quirky title and they want to announce it in their own way. It’s best to respect the secrecy,” the source told us, and was quick to inform us that both Ranbir and Shraddha will feature in the video announcement video.

Producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand unveiled the first song of Pathaan, 'Besharam Rang', on Monday! The song has been trending worldwide ever since its release and fans and audiences have gone berserk complimenting how SRK and Deepika Padukone are looking in the song and how hot the choreography is because the verdict is unanimous - Deepika has looked her hottest best in 'Besharam Rang'!

Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, who is known to present the hottest versions of leading ladies on screen - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 'Kajra Re' from Bunty Aur Babli, Katrina Kaif in 'Kamli' from 'Dhoom 3' to the scintillating Deepika Padukone in 'Besharam Rang', etc is over the moon with the response to the song. She says, “In my body of work, I have probably consciously made an effort to ensure that the female leads are always presented very aesthetically. For instance, with Ash (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) in 'Kajra Re', I made it a point to a kind of enhance the expressions in the way she did her adaakari. In 'Kamli' with Katrina again, I kept in my what Katrina would look great doing.”

She adds, “One must always study the actor you're choreographing for because it doesn't matter if the movement looks great on me or my assistants, but it must look fantastic on the actor, it should bespoke to the actor.“

Vaibhavi further says, “Strangely, I’ve never been able to choreograph something for Deepika until 'Besharam Rang'. So, this is my first song with Deepika and I knew I had to do something really special for this one. It was very endearing for me to see her approach me and say finally we get to work with each other I said Deepika I truly want to make this very special for you because this is our first and I don’t want to shoot a better song than this for you in future.”

Vaibhavi says she went all out in making Deepika look the hottest heroine that India has ever seen on screen. She says, ”I wanted to go all out to present her in a way that she has never been presented before. I must give it to Shaleena Nathani for the costumes. Deepika has a great rapport with her and I was pleasantly surprised to see her being so comfortable in her own skin. She owns the song and she is looking gorgeous in every frame.”

Vaibhavi adds, “Deepika put in a lot of hard work to look the way she is looking in 'Besharam Rang'. She had an entire crew - dietitian, her physical trainer and the stunning costumes by Shaleena. I was mighty impressed with the way she just approached all the costumes she's like, yeah, she's cool to wear this, she's cool to wear that. So, I think that really triggered a certain style in which this song should be shot. Because I was like, I can't make her wear those costumes and make her do steps in a way that we usually shoot songs.”

The song features a sizzling Deepika with Shah Rukh Khan, who plays a gun-toting spy with a license to kill in Pathaan. Both are looking their hottest and fittest best as Deepika flaunts her hot bod in bikinis and SRK - a perfectly chiselled eight-pack! 'Besharam Rang' was shot in Spain’s most gorgeous coastal towns Mallorca, Cadiz and Jerez.

Pathaan is India’s biggest-ever action spectacle for audiences. The visually spectacular Yash Raj Films’ action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. The adrenaline-pumping, visually extravagant film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Another Bollywood movie is seeing a direct-to-digital release. Mission Majnu starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna will premiere on Netflix on January 20, 2023. The news was confirmed on December 13, 2022.

Sharing the first poster on Twitter, Netflix India tweeted, “Ek jaanbaaz agent ki ansuni kahaani.. MISSION MAJNU. Only on Netflix, 20th January.”

Previously, a source close to the film told Bollywood Hungama, “Sidharth Malhotra starrer Mission Majnu is headed for an OTT release. The film will be skipping the theatres and heading directly to a leading streaming platform. There is no denying that the actor is very much in demand after his film - Shershaah broke all records last year. While everyone wants a piece of the heartthrob, we hear that the streaming giant had bought the film at a whopping amount.”

While Sidharth Malhotra’s last film Thank God didn’t do well at the box office, last year, the Vikram Batra biopic Shershaah also saw a direct-to-digital release on Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will next star in Dharma Productions’ Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna. Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, will resume Pushpa 2: The Rule shoot. She will also star in Thalapathy Vijay’s next and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Ranbir Kapoor.

Critically-acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee’s mother Geeta Devi died at the age of 80 on December 8 at a hospital in New Delhi. Reportedly, she was unwell and was hospitalised around a month ago. Now, days after her death, the actor took to his verified social media handle and penned an emotional note for his mother.

“A tribute to an IRON LADY, my Mother!” wrote the Satya actor. He further added, “That’s what I call her! A Mother of six children and wife to the most gentleman farmer! She protected her family from all the evil eyes and intentions of this unforgiving world and supported her husband in fulfilling every child’s needs while sacrificing her own dreams. She was an alpha woman who ruled her world with an unflinching eye! wish I could go back in time to see my mother grow into the amazing strong-headed individual that she was!”

While stating that he will be “forever indebted to her for her innumerable contributions”, the actor wrote, “Her selfless love & dedication was incomparable. Her unwavering support during my days of struggle has given me the strength to never give up. Her words of encouragement will always remain with me, and I will pass those on to my children. I am a reflection of her.”

“Her efforts, sacrifices, selfless love, & hard work has shaped what we have become today. She is a forever friend who has been a pillar of strength every step of the way,” read an excerpt of his note.

As mentioned above, Manoj Bajpayee's mother Geeta Devi passed away on December 8. A spokesperson said, “She wasn't keeping well for the past 20 days and was undergoing treatment at Max Super Speciality Hospital,” in their statement. Geeta Devi is survived by two other sons and three daughters.

Director Todd Phillips announced "day one" of production on Joker: Folie a Deux as he debuted the first look at Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. Taking to social media, the filmmaker shared an image of Joaquin Phoenix lying dead-eyed and transformed into his character of homicidal Arkham Asylum convict, Arthur Fleck, who can be seen receiving a shave from what appears to be an orderly at the facility. "Day 1. Our boy," he simply wrote in the caption.

Phillips returns to direct Joker: Folie à Deux after helming the award-winning first film. The sequel, which has been described as a musical, also stars Lady Gaga in the role of Harley Quinn. Brendan Gleeson has also been cast in the production, per Variety. As the report notes, the Joker sequel will pick up with Phoenix’s killer clown after he’s been admitted to Arkham Asylum.

Shashank Khaitan has proven to be the latter during the shoot of his upcoming quirky comedy Govinda Naam Mera, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.

Elaborating on his process, Shashank said in a statement, “I have always believed that everyone has a creative side and as a director I think it's only fair that I allow that creative flow and take bits that could help the film. Luckily, each of the actors involved have their own quirks and their own ingenious methodologies. Not a single moment went by without somebody randomly laughing during the comic scenes.”

The filmmaker is convinced that every actor from Govinda Naam Mera has the potential to become a professional comic artiste. “The whole set would resonate with laughter and I sincerely believe that each of them could be a stand-up comedian on their own accord for the number of jokes they crack!”

Govinda Naam Mera is Shashank’s next feature film after Dhadak, which was the official remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat. Produced by Dharma Productions, Govinda Naam Mera will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from December 16.

Earlier this year, there were ample of rumours of Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff’s breakup that was doing the rounds across media and social media. The actress will also be making her South debut with the untitled Suriya film, Suriya 42 which is expected to be a period drama mounted on a large scale.

Rohit Shetty is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated Cirkus. The trailer was unveiled on December 2. The trailer promises unlimited entertainment and a laughter riot. The film marks a double role for Ranveer Singh for the first time. As the promotions began in full swing, the actors reached the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show this past weekend.

Kapil Sharma shared two photos with Ranveer Singh after the shoot. He wrote, “You can’t stay calm when he is around you ???? my super talented bro @ranveersingh lots of love n best wishes for #cirkus.” Ranveer left a comment on his post saying, “Love you Paaji !! The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johny Lever, Siddharth Jadhav, Tiku Talsania, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Patkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Brijendra Kala among others. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Cirkus is set to release theatrically this Christmas on 23rd December 2022.

Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor hosted their sangeet and mehndi night at Guneet’s Mumbai residence last night. The festivities began last night with an intimate affair of sangeet with close friends and family. Amongst the highlights was Sanya Malhotra’s energetic impromptu dance on 'Sheila Ki Jawaani'. Their wedding is set to take place tomorrow in a Sikh Anand Karaj ceremony. 

Apart from Sanya Malhotra dancing to the Katrina Kaif starrer dance number with the couple, the beautiful musical ode by Sona Mohapatra also amped up the energy of the ceremony. She sang the songs, 'Resham Ka Kurta' and 'Nit Khair Manga'. Amongst other attendees were Sheeba Chaddha, director Ben Rekhi and Vasan Bala.

For the unversed, Guneet announced her wedding with long-time beau Sunny Kapoor a couple of weeks back. Guneet said, “Having once staged a whole wedding for Dadi ji we are now set to tie the knot in real life. Though I was born and brought-up in Delhi, my whole life is now in Mumbai - my ‘Karma Bhoomi’. I have found friends like family here. All the ceremonies will be in Mumbai with a reception in Delhi.”

Adding further, she said, “Ever since I was 18, I wanted to get married and finally met Sunny last year on a dating app!” She further adds, ‘I am so grateful to have found a family that is so loving and giving. Since I lost both my parents at the age of 23, I have dreamt of having a big family and I am so excited for that dream to come true. Can’t wait to end the year with a big bang.”

The Randeep Hooda-starrer web series CAT finally arrived on Netflix on December 9. While the audience and the critics are praising the story and performance of the cast, actress Hasleen Kaur, who plays a cop in the web show, discussed how she prepared for her character while sharing her mind on the series being compared to Udta Punjab in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama.

When asked how she prepared for her role given that she will be acting alongside Randeep Hooda, Hasleen said, “Before we started shooting, I'd met him only once, after that I met him directly on the sets. Now, while we were shooting, I had an idea who I'll be filming with, but to work with them in person is a completely different ball game altogether. You can see them in action. And Randeep Hooda, for example, I'm a big fan of his. I admire him. But when I saw him in action, the way he invests himself completely not just as an actor, but in the overall filming process. He has an eye on everything.”

As she refreshed her memories, she added that Randeep used to “keep correcting” her cap and he used to ask her to correct her uniform. She recalled, “He was there to help me through every shot. However, sometimes he was a little bland. He used to scold me like, ‘What have you learned? What did you do in your homework?”

While speaking of her experience of working with senior actors, Kaur asserted, “To work with these actors, I had to learn very quickly, I had to learn on my feet. I've seen this side of acting for the first time.”

As she continued, Kaur also spoke about her co-star Suvinder Vicky and explained that he used to “maintain a register” in which he often re-wrote his scenes and dialogues. While giving a shout-out to the director of the series, Balwinder Singh Janjua, Hasleen concluded by saying, “I feel like now after CAT, I have become an actor.”

Later we asked the actress to elaborate on CAT being compared to Shahid Kapoor-starrer Udta Punjab. She said, “His vision was not to remake Udta Punjab. I want to be very clear on this and this is something that even Balwinder sir has always been very candid about. He was not making another Udta Punjab. It is a nice film but CAT is a different story altogether.”

Concluding her take, she added, “It's my request not to relate the two. Like how we have RAW, there is an organisation called as CAT. This is a form of intel. Punjab was the first state in India to use this technique in order to counter the insurgency that existed in Punjab. CAT's full form is Counter Against Terrorism.”

With south cinema going pan-India, even Hindi film actors are keenly interested to be a part of a project of that scale. In recent times, actors like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, and more have been featured in special roles in Telugu movies. Varun Dhawan is also one of them who wants to do a movie down south. He joined the roundtable conversation held by Galatta Plus where Karan Johar said that the Bhediya actor was “dying” to work in a south film. He said, “He will go to Hyderabad or Chennai and live there. He is dying… jumping.”

Tamil star Karthi, who was also one of the celebrities to join the roundtable conversation, said, “He (Varun) has already mentioned his interest and work there.”

Varun said, “We released Bhediya in Telugu as Thodelu. It was released by Geetha Arts. Even at the launch, they said you are more like a South Indian hero than a North Indian hero because of your energy level and the kind of films you do. I would love to do it because I have never seen a distinction. I grew up with my father (who) in the morning would show me Tamil and Telugu films.”

He added, “Given the opportunity, I would love to work there. There are brilliant filmmakers who are on my bucket list. I know it will happen. I don’t know how, but I know it will happen. It’s a plan.”

Varun pointed at Dulquer Salmaan, who was also part of the conversation and said, “He is a producer. Maybe, he can give it.” The Sita Ramam actor was laughing as he said, “I can’t afford you.”

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan was most recently seen in Bhediya with Kriti Sanon. The film released in theatres on November 25, 2022. He will next star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor.

In one of the most horrific incidents, veteran actress Veena Kapoor was allegedly brutally murdered by her son Sachin Kapoor over a property dispute. As per reports, he admitted to the crime and said that the incident took place in a fit of rage as he repeatedly hit her head with a baseball bat. He then threw her dead body into a river in the Raigad district. Mumbai Police has arrested the accused and their house help Chhotu alias Lalukumar Mandal for murder after the interrogation.

A police complaint was filed when the security supervisor of Kalpataru Society in Mumbai reported that the 74-year-old actress had gone missing. During the interrogation, Sachin Kapoor confessed to the murder and said that the heated conversation to get the Rs 12 crore plot led to the killing of his mother.

Veena’s co-star from the TV show Meri Bhabhi, Nilu Kohli wrote on Instagram, “Veenaji you deserved better. I am heartbroken, posting this for you. Kya bolun? Am at a total loss of words. I hope you are finally resting in peace after soo many years of struggle.”

She spoke to TV9 Bharatvarsh and said, “I worked with Veena ji for about five years in Main Bhabhi. After this serial, we also did another serial together. But before Corona, we lost contact and I got busy with my projects. After the death of a person, we remember these things. I still can't believe she is no more with us.”

As per Economic Times, police also said that Veena Kapoor’s elder son lives in the US. They have registered a case against the accused under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The investigation is underway.

Veena Kapoor was also known for her performances in movies like Mitter Pyare Nu Haal Mureedan Da Kehna, Dal: The Gang and Bandhan Pheron Ke.
