The National Cinema Day has made the industry realize that cheaper ticket rates can pull audiences to cinema halls in hordes. It was celebrated on September 23 and tickets were sold for just Rs. 75. It resulted in house full shows not just for big-ticket films like Brahmastra but even for small films like Chup and Dhokha Round D Corner. The offer was then extended to weekdays. Recently, the tickets for the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Goodbye were sold for just Rs. 150 on its release day, that is, Friday, October 7.

And now, the makers have come up with another exciting offer. On Tuesday, October 11, viewers will be able to watch Goodbye for just Rs. 80! A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Since the film’s lead, Amitabh Bachchan, turns 80 on Tuesday, the makers felt that it’ll be a great idea to sell tickets for Rs. 80 on this day. They spoke to the multiplex chains and they also felt it was a great idea. They readily came on board. The advance booking has already begun for the 11th.”

The source continued, “There’ll be a lot of noise on October 11; after all, the mahanayak is turning 80. The makers plan to promote this exciting offer and are confident that it’ll result in huge footfalls. They are expecting that several viewers will come to the cinema halls to take advantage of cheaper ticket prices.”

According to the source, as of now, PVR Cinemas, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Mukta etc are already on board. “The other multiplex chains, standalone cinemas and single-screens too are expected to sell tickets of Goodbye for Rs. 80 on October 11,” revealed the source.

Meanwhile, a film festival named ‘Bachchan Back To The Beginning’ is going on at PVR Cinemas. It is organized by the Film Heritage Foundation from October 8 to 11 in 17 cities. As part of this film festival, classic films of Amitabh Bachchan like Don, Kaala Patthar, Kaalia, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony etc are being shown on the big screen. While tickets on October 8, 9 and 10 are available for Rs. 150, on the 11th, the tickets will be sold for just Rs. 80.

Three-time National Film Awardee, Manoj Bajpayee has been roped in to play the lead in an untitled courtroom drama, backed by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Suparn S Varma and Zee Studios. It is expected to revolve around a hard-hitting subject and marks the debut of director Apoorv Singh Karki in Hindi films who has helmed popular OTT shows like Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd, and Flames, among others. The film brings back Suparn S Varma and Manoj Bajpayee together after their award-winning series ‘The Family Man’. Besides Bajpayee, the film is also expected to feature an ensemble cast.

Speaking about the film, Manoj Bajpayee said, “When Vinod Bhanushali & Suparn S Varma told me about the story, I was fascinated and immediately agreed to be a part of this beautiful script. The courtroom drama will enthrall and Apoorv Karki is going to create something that will intrigue the audience. We are excited as we start shoot today. I am sure this film is something people will remember for a really long time.”

Talking about choosing this film as his debut in Hindi cinema, director Apoorv Singh Karki shared, “This film has everything on point that attracted me towards it – a good story, solid cast, strong producers backing it. The script demanded a calm and assertive actor like Manoj Sir to lead the film and we are glad to have him on board. This is definitely an unmissable opportunity for me.”

Producer Vinod Bhanushali added, “Whenever Manoj Bajpayee comes on-screen, he makes you believe in the story, the character he portrays, and makes you notice every little nuance. He was always our only choice for this character. In this film, I get to work with friends Suparn S Varma and Shariq Patel at Zee Studios as well as experience a young talent like Apoorv Singh Karki.”

Talking about backing the film, Shariq Patel, CBO at Zee Studios, concluded, “Zee Studios is committed to exploring newer entertainment realms and always pushing the envelope. The film is an enticing courtroom drama and will showcase Manoj Bajpayee in a never-seen-before character.”

A Zee Studios and Bhanushali Studios Limited presentation, Suparn S Varma’s courtroom drama directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Asif Sheikh & Vishal Gurnani and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta. While the filming begins on October 9, the makers are looking at a 2023 release.

Filmmaker Karan Johar returns as a director after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, who previously were seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film also will see Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles. While the actors have wrapped the film, one song shoot remains which will be shot after Alia Bhatt gives birth to her first child. The film, which was previously scheduled for February 2023 release, does not have a finalized date yet. However, Karan is quite satisfied with the way the film is turning out.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Karan Johar called his next directorial a ‘joyous’. “The film is a joyous film, in my opinion, I hope that everybody else believes that. I just think that I'm very privileged to have been able to work with Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra, besides Ranveer and Alia. We have an amazing cast from Kolkata as well. We have Churni Ganguli and Tota Roy Chowdhury. I've worked with Aamir Bashir, Kshitee Jog and an actress called Anjali Anand. We have so many interesting new actors and it's a massive ensemble, a family love story. It has all the elements in the film that I have loved watching and always having as part of my films. The songs and the dances – it a celebratory film and I can't wait for actually everyone to kind of dig themselves into the world of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.”

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi is slated for a 2023 release. The filmmaker is also planning to direct an action entertainer with hopes to kick off the shoot in April 2023.

As soon as the teaser of the Om Raut directorial Adipurush dropped, it received a mixed response. Meanwhile, a section of netizens trolled the look of Saif Ali Khan as Ravan. Now, director Om Raut and dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir have finally broken their silence.

In an interview with Aaj Tak, the director-writer duo addressed the criticism. Raut explained, “Our Ravan in today's time is demonic, he is cruel. The one who has abducted our Goddess Sita is cruel. We have shown what Raavan look like in today's time. This is not a film or a project for us. This is a mission for us.”

Om then went on to elaborate and asserted, “Our film is a symbol of our devotion and we need everyone's blessings for this. Whosoever is speaking about the film are our elders. I am listening to all of them and taking note of everything. When you will watch the film in January 2023, I will not disappoint anyone.”

Muntashir added that people have only watched a 1 minute and 35 seconds-long teaser in which Saif's Ravan is seen with a tripund (three horizontal lines on the forehead in the form of a tilak). He continued, “I want to ask which Khilji sports a tilak or a tripund? Which Khilji wears a janeu (holy thread) and rudraksh? Our Ravan sports all of these in the tiny teaser.”

The mythological film based on Ramayana is slated to release on January 12 next year. While Khan will essay Lankesh, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon will be seen as Ram and Sita.

Your commercial viability depends on your box-office success.

As the conversation progressed, the Raat Akeli Hai actress also shared her two cents on male-driven films and how it affects the screen time and depiction of women characters. She said, “I knew the story was about two men. My part was always going to be small. That said, it’s not about screen time. I loved working with Gayatri and Pushkar.”

Recalling an incident, Apte continued, “I jokingly said, ‘Why didn’t you make Vikram and Vedha women?’ They told me there will be a next time. Would I like to be in films that offer me more scope and time? Definitely.”

Talking about the Pushkar-Gayatri directorial, she mentioned, “Vikram is darker than Vedha; that’s what I loved about the movie. I am tired of watching good and bad based on society’s ideas and mandated moralities that make no sense to me. People are extreme and intolerant across the world. The film is relevant for the times we are living in.”

After his last big screen release, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has won the audience's hearts with his four back-to-back OTT projects. As the actor was more visible on the screen in the past two years, his fans are eager to know everything about his upcoming projects. Well, here is some news for them!

Abhishek Bachchan is in advanced talks with Nikkhil Advani’s production house, Emmay Entertainment, for a drama. Mid-Day recently shared a report, in which the publication spilled some beans about his upcoming collaboration. Quoting a source, the report stated, “Abhishek has been choosy in his second innings as an actor, and it has paid off with Manmarziyaan [2018], Ludo [2020] and Breathe: Into the Shadows earning him praise.”

It further added, “He has liked the script, but has yet to sign on the dotted line. The film will see Nikkhil serve as a producer, with one of the studio’s directors going behind the camera. If all goes as planned, the team will kick off a start-to-finish schedule in Bhopal by the month-end.” The upcoming film is said to revolve around an unusual bond that Bachchan’s character develops with a kid.

However, it is worth highlighting that neither the actor nor the filmmaker has given any confirmation to the report yet.

Talking about Jr Bachchan’s professional front, the 46-year-old actor will be next seen in the third instalment of Prime Video’s popular series, Breathe: Into the Shadows. While R Madhvan played the lead in the first season, the second season introduced a new story with Abhishek in the lead along with Nithya Menen. The channel treats the audience and fans with short videos and promos from the upcoming episode. In one of the recently shared videos on the verified social media page of the channel, Kili Paul can be seen grooving with judge Madhuri Dixit. 

For the unversed, Kili Paul is a Tanzania-based content creator. The promo of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10 has managed to garner love from Instagrammers. While a user wrote, “That's our boy presenting Tanzania”, another added, “That was sooo amazing....I can't wait for the ep.” This episode will be telecasted on Saturday-Sunday, which is October 8 and 9, at 8 PM.

Talking about Dixit, on the professional front, the 55-year-old actress is making headlines for her second web project, Maja Ma. Produced under the banner of Dharma, the family drama was released on Prime Video on October 6. The ensemble star cast of the film also features Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, and Srishti Shrivastava.

Korean band The Rose, composed of four members Woosung (vocals, guitar), Dojoon (keyboard), Hajoon (drums), and Jaehyeong (bass), has made their highly anticipated return to music with their full-length album Heal, which released on October 7th.  The album was created to bring people together and heal through music. After a three-year hiatus due to completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, the band has released a ten-song collection themed around coming together.

The members shared their notes and experiences from the past three years spent apart, then travelled to Joshua Tree, California for ten days where they collaborated and brought their collective voices to creating and recording the songs.

The album's first single ‘Childhood’ focuses on the group's new freedom and rebirth. The song and video signify the band's journey into uncharted territory not only with each other but with those who support them along the way.  The featured single ‘Sour’ is a tongue-in-cheek ode to the group's favourite candy and a reminder to cherish anything you love. The single was accompanied by a beautiful music video which will release later on Friday.

Heal is an album that is inspired by the stories of the fans and the healing power of music.

In the two months since the pop-rock quartet has been back, the band joined a partnership with Transparent Arts, garnered over 1 million TikTok followers, and sold out a 40-city world tour this Fall, including 6000 tickets in Sao Paolo, and 4000 tickets in both Los Angeles and New York. You can see them on their world tour starting this October.

With Suhana Khan ready to debut with the Indian adaptation of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Aryan Khan is not too far off from making his mark in the industry. While the star kid made quite the headlines last year with his arrest, he is moving on to better things and is already gearing up to debut as a writer, under Red Chillies Productions. It was earlier reported that he is penning a script with a bunch of writers for Red Chillies Productions’ web series. Now, it seems like casting is underway with the plan to take the project on floors by 2022 end.

As per a report in ETimes, several actors have auditioned for the web series. The work has already begun on the project and it may kick off by the end of the year. Bilal Siddiqui, who co-wrote the Bard Of Blood series starring Emraan Hashmi, is co-penning this script with Aryan Khan. Reports suggest that Jersey actor Prit Kamani may be part of the show.

Earlier, it was reported that the story revolves around the tinsel town and it is a comedy. It is a fictional telling of the Hindi film industry and Red Chillies Entertainment’s in-house writers are working on the project.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan wants to learn the nitty-gritty process of filmmaking and more before he dives into the direction part. He is kicking off his journey as a writer first.

Nushrratt Bharuccha has been working on several projects. The actress will be next seen in a drama-thriller titled Akelli. Set in Iraq, the film showcases how a person realizes her own capabilities in adverse situations like being trapped in the desert land.

Speaking about the film, the producer and Founder of Dashami Studioz,  Nitin Vaidya expressed, “We are thrilled to announce Akelli starting Nushrratt Bharuccha. Her character in this film symbolizes a lone woman’s battle against all odds. The film's subject is very different and as a storyteller, Pranay has visualized each and every bit so well that his conviction made us want to back this movie.”

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared her first look and wrote, “Apni Pe Aa Jaaye..Toh Ek Akelli Hi Kaafi Hai!” The video sees her standing at the centre surrounded by women. In next clip, she is holding the clapboard.

Akelli is helmed by Pranay Meshram, who has worked as an associate director for various projects and will debutant as a director with this film. The film is produced by Dashami Studioz' Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, Aparna Padgaonkar along with Vicky Sidana & Shashant Shah.

On the work front, Nushrratt Bharuccha will also be seen in Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar, Satya Dev and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is set for Diwali 2022 release. The actress’ next is Selfiee with Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi and Diana Penty. It will be released in 2023. She also has Chhorii 2, the sequel to her film, Chhorii. She recently returned from Uzbekistan after wrapping a month-long schedule for her next untitled project.

After much anticipation, Brahmastra – starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt – released in the theatres on September 9. Despite the film receiving mixed responses amongst critics and audiences for its dialogues, it also managed to receive a fair share of praises for its attempt to make a fantasy-mythology modern drama. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, it marks his third directorial under Dharma Productions.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the film’s producer Karan Johar gave a major share of credits and a pat on the back to the director Ayan for successfully creating such a visual spectacle. “[Brahmastra] is an all-round success for everyone concerned, not just for Dharma, every member of the film. And mainly, I would like to say this; it’s an Ayan Mukerji baby all the way and I think he has really made a mark as a filmmaker because his trajectory has been amazing. His first film was Wake Up Sid, his second film being Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, third Brahmastra.”

“If you put these three films together and you don’t know the details, you will never know the same filmmaker has made these three films. Karan also heaped praises for the acclaimed filmmaker who seamlessly “blended the modern world with mythology and has created an entire universe; that has never happened.”

“Full marks to Ayan for creating this world which is completely original while his inspiration might be drawn from fantasy films across the world but I think this story is original. Everything about it is completely born within him and by him.” When asked about exactly what made him confident that he will be able to pull off this fantasy trilogy, Karan said, “Just knowing that his level of passion is one of the highest I’ve seen in a filmmaker?”

He continued, “His level of commitment, his level to just do one thing and do it and his academic mind, his accepting and acknowledging of good, bad, everything is, that kind of receptive mind. I feel anything Ayan Mukerji does will always make a mark because it’s coming from a lot of labor, a lot of hard work, a lot of passion, a lot of integrity and a lot of commitment.”

“Including myself, I’ve never seen a filmmaker work this hard, the way Ayan has worked,” he added. “I don’t think in my collective career, the kind of work I’ve put in, he’s put into this one film.”

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has flown to London and kicked off the shoot for director Hansal Mehta's crime thriller. The untitled film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Dressed in all black, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently took to Instagram to update that she has begun her next film.  “Day 1 Film number 67 or 68? Chalo (let's go) guys let’s do this," she wrote. In the picture, Kareena was donning minimal makeup whilst standing against the sunlight. She wore a long dark jacket, with a luggage bag next to her as she leaned against the wall.

With this film, Kareena Kapoor Khan turns producer. The project will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Hansal Mehta. Ekta and Kareena Kapoor Khan previously teamed up on the comedy, Veeri Di Wedding in 2018. Excited to turn producer for the first time, Kareena Kapoor Khan previously said, “Very honoured and excited to work as a producer on this film with Ekta whom my family has known for years and ofcourse to be directed by Hansal for the first time. I am a huge fan of Hansal’s films and to be working with him for the first time will be special. There are a lot of firsts in this film and I cannot wait to begin this journey.”

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The film released on August 11, 2022, and arrived on Netflix on October 6, 2022. She also has the adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Veteran actor Arun Bali was reportedly suffering from the neuromuscular disorder Myasthenia Gravis. The actor passed away on October 7 in Mumbai. The actor was 79.

According to a report by Indian Express, the veteran actor’s son Ankush Bali confirmed that the last rites will take place on Saturday. The family is waiting for other members to come down to Mumbai from the US for the funeral.

Earlier in January 2022, according, member of CINTAA Nupur Alankar who has known him for years, was speaking to Arun Bali over a call when she reportedly noticed something amiss in his speech. She also mentioned when she sensed something was majorly wrong with his speech and pointed it out to him. Later, she tried contacting his son Ankush but couldn't get through. She also tried calling up Rajeev Menon who is Ankush's colleague and got his other number and advised him to take Arun to the hospital immediately. Arun Bali's daughter later notified Nupur that her father has been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare autoimmune disease caused by a communication failure between nerves and muscles.

Arun Bali was most recently seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, the Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump. The film starred Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film released on 11 August 2022. The actor's last project would be Goodbye, where he will be seen as Neena Gupta's father.

Arun Bali was known for his roles in 3 Idiots, PK, Kedarnath, and Panipat among other films. The actor was seen on several TV shows including his 1989 debut project Doosra Kewal, Chanakya, Swabhimaan and Kumkum Pyaara Sa Bandhan.

Speaking about how it all started with Darlings, Alia Bhatt said in this Forbes conference, “What started off as a bit of a mathematical calculation, ended up being a production house. So, when Darlings came to me, I didn’t want to loan the production of the film. So I decided to charge a lesser fee and also that I’ll take the backend of the film. Actually what I realized by that time was that I was way more interested in what happens behind the camera and what it takes to make a movie. Ten years into the industry, I have had my first film as a producer out and I feel that the understanding that I have gathered on making a movie like Darlings has been extremely substantial. I am always learning - That’s my motto! I believe that you continuously learn and grow. You should also always ask questions because you don’t have all the answers, no one has, even Bill Gates doesn’t.”

She went on to further share, “It did seem like financially the right thing to do but otherwise also, it seemed like the right thing for me as a creative individual, ten years into the industry. Sorry, at that time I was eight.”

At the same time, Alia also asserted that she didn’t want to be like a production house that is constantly churning out content after content. “I am still a boutique production house. It’s not going to be like I am churning out content. But I will set out a certain goal where I would like to develop possibly a show, a movie, or a podcast. Whatever be the case, I know that I want to put out content that I connect with and has an emotional core that is extremely high. I want to be a part of a filmmaking process behind the camera and not just in front of the camera,” she concluded.

The popular ‘it’ couple of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who were last seen on the big screen in Brahmastra, recently shot for an interesting ad. While Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been promoting several products in the past, Ralia seem to be taking slow on the endorsement front. The couple recently featured in an ad for steel bars and it was directed by none other than Abhishek Varman who has worked with the actress in both his films.

For the uninitiated, Abhishek Varman has directed and written two films in the past under Dharma Productions. While he made his directorial debut with 2 States, he went on to work with Alia Bhatt in his next film too, which was the multi-starrer Kalank. The filmmaker has now roped in the real life couple for this endorsement too. The actors were seen in the ad, playing themselves as a reel life couple who are discussing about their dream home. While Alia presents a graphical sketch of their dream house, Ranbir lists down the benefits of using Rungta Steel TMT Bars. The official social media account of the brand shared the commercial on their Instagram page.

Coming to the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone where she will be starring alongside the likes of Gal Gadot. Besides that, the actress also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh that is in the pipeline for release but the date will be locked once she returns from her maternity break. Actress Urmila Matondkar known for her superlative performances in films like Satya, Ek Haseena Thi, Bhoot, Rangeela, Kaun and Pinjar, is all set to make a grand comeback in a thriller titled Tiwari directed by Saurabh Varma, produced by Content Engineers. The actress plays the titular role in the web series set in a small town and has an emotional mother-daughter story at the core of it.

The thriller has the actress doing gritty action for which she has been training rigorously for last six months. Urmila will be seen in a completely different avatar in the show. Apparently, Urmila will play the double role of mother and daughter in Tiwari.

Talking about the show, Urmila says, “Tiwari offered me characters and a story arc that is challenging as a performer and things that I haven’t attempted so far. Written and created by a team of young writers, the team managed to keep me hooked till the end while narrating it. What I liked the most in the story is that at the core, it is an emotional mother-daughter story but at the same time, it has everything from drama to action to some thrilling twists and turns. I can’t wait to start shooting.”

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen forayed into the digital world with the web series Aarya, helmed by Ram Madhvani. With the success of the series, the actress has been receiving several offers. Recently, it was announced that the actress has signed another web series Taali which will be for Voot Select. It was revealed that the actress is set to play transgender activist Gauri Sawant. The actress has now confirmed her role.

Sushmita Sen on Thursday took to social media to make the official announcement of her next web series Taali. According to the reports, the series will tell the tale of Gauri Sawant and her rise in the community. The story will also highlight Gauri Sawant’s precious bond with her adopted child Gayatri. Sushmita Sen was floored by the courage of Gauri Sawant and agreed to star in it. The six-episode drama will showcase several aspects of Sawant’s life, the challenges, the journey and her relationship with her daughter Gayatri. The shoot for the series has commenced. She will then embark on shooting the third season of Aarya early next year.

Born as Ganesh and raised in Pune, Shreegauri Sawant is a transgender activist from Mumbai. She was one of the petitioners of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) which was filed in 2013, in which the Supreme Court recognized transgender as the third gender with a final verdict in 2014. The upcoming biopic will shed light on the momentous life of Shreegauri Sawant - from her childhood, and her transition, to her contribution to revolutionising the transgender movement in India.

The biopic is created by Arjun Singgh Baran & Kartk D Nishandar, directed by National award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar & Afeefa Nadiadwala.

Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen has also signed a biopic whose rights have been acquired by Mansi Bagla of Mini Films and photographer Subi Samuel’s Bungalow No 84, joined by Soham Rockstar Entertainment. The is set to go on floors by the end of this year.

You may or may not be a fan of last year’s spooky satire Bhoot Police where Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan joined forces for a farce that many, including your truly thought to be, an utter waste of time. But Bhoot Police will have a sequel. Yes, you had that right.

Confirming the development, Saif Ali Khan says, “I loved the script and I liked my role in Bhoot Police. It continues to be one of the most watched films on that platform, and they are very keen to do a sequel.”

The first part of Bhoot Police was filled with such never-before sights and sounds. Like A Chudail belching profanity like Linda Blair, like Saif trying to mimic Rajkummar Rao in Stree, or Arjun Kapoor puking into a holy earthen pot while Saif holds it for him, or… never mind!

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who tied the knot in April 2022, are expecting their first child. The actress took to Instagram in June to announce her pregnancy. Following the release of Brahmastra in September, the actors hosted an intimate baby shower ceremony on Wednesday on the occasion of Dussehra.

Neetu Kapoor shared several pictures on her Instagram stories offering a glimpse into the celebration.

The group photo featured Alia, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, Alia's mother Soni Razdan, Nitasha Nanda, Rima Jain, Anissa Malhotra Jain, Shammi Kapoor's wife Neila Devi and others. Alia was dressed in yellow attire.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a series of pictures on her Instagram stories which included Ranbir, Alia, and Karisma Kapoor.

Karan Johar also shared a selfie with the parents-to-be Ranbir and Alia. Ranbir was dressed in a white kurta-pajama with half printed jacket. He is sporting a beard and long hair.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married in an intimate ceremony on April 14 with close friends and family in attendance. The couple dated for several years before getting married. Their ceremony was widely covered in news and on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt will next star in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. It is slated for 2023 release. She also has a Hollywood debut in Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

Just last week, the much talked about teaser of the Prabhas – Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush dropped, at a lavish event in Ayodhya. Apart from the launch of the teaser, the makers of the film also unveiled a poster featuring Prabhas with a 50-foot image rising out of the waters of the river Sarayu. Interestingly, while the teaser went on to become one of the fastest videos to cross the 50 million views mark, the makers recently unveiled the 3D version as well.

At a media even in Mumbai, director Om Raut screened the 3D teaser of the Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush. Post the screening, while speaking to the media director Om Raut said explained how this film will be best viewed on the big screen and for those who can watch it in 3D must do so.

Also addressing the reactions on social media, he said he was taken aback but since it's a film meant to be experienced on the big screen he is confident that watching it on the biggest screen possible will make it a good experience for the viewers.

For over a week, rumours have been rife on social media that all is not well between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The actress is in Paris for Paris Fashion Week 2022, completing work commitments. Ranveer too, has been busy with his appearances at events, brand endorsements and more. However, he took some time out to compliment his ladylove, whilst shutting down all the separation rumours that are circulating on the internet.

Recently, on the panel of FICCI Frames 2022, Ranveer confirmed that fans will see him and Deepika super soon on the big screen again. While he didn’t reveal the project, it is speculated that the actress is making a cameo in a song in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Cirkus starring Ranveer. He said, “Touchwood…We met and started dating in 2012… so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot. I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone. You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life.”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next star in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, releasing on December 23. The film stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. He also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated for 2023 release. The actor has also signed Shankar’s Anniyan remake.
