Brahmastra has gone on to roar at the box office with the film receiving a lot of appreciation from fans and viewers. Despite the low phase in Bollywood, the fantasy adventure bringing together real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together for the first time, has been doing good business at the box office. While expectations are riding high not just for Part One but also for the upcoming two parts of the trilogy, Ayan Mukerji has asserted that the next parts will be academically inclined towards Indian mythology rather than human emotions. Recalling his experience of shooting for Part One, the filmmaker revealed that he had to comprise on shots due to budget constraints including a scene that was eventually incorporated in the SS Rajamouli film RRR.

Reminiscing about one such incident, Ayan Mukerji revealed during FICCI 2022, that he had planned a bear sequence quite similar to the one showcased in RRR featuring Junior NTR. However, he couldn’t achieve what SS Rajamouli could, because of budget restrictions. Speaking about the kind of compromises he had to make during Brahmastra, Ayan said during a media interaction, “I think there is no life or relationship without compromise. Even in Brahmastra, there were many times when I had thought of something but couldn’t do it that way or there were times when we hoped we could do it but were not able to. Let me tell you something interesting. In RRR, there is this interval sequence where all the animals jump out, which is an incredible sequence. That sequence is done by Namit’s company as well. A few years ago, I had thought of such an incredible sequence with a bear in Brahmastra. But due to budget constraints, we had to cut the bear out of part one but it was a great sequence. Now in RRR, they managed to put the sequence with a lot of other animals. Even now, when I meet Namit I ask him about how he made me compromise on the bear sequence. So you do compromise but still, try to do your best.”

Speaking of Brahmastra, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. It released on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. On the other hand, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli starring Ram Charan, Junior NTR, along with Alia Bhatt released on March 24.

Readers would be aware that Brahmastra was announced years ago, way back somewhere in 2015. Seven years later, the film finally saw the light of the day and has opened up to rave reviews from audiences. The VFX of the film is being highly appreciated and there are a lot of expectations riding high on the second part of the trilogy. When the film was announced with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji asserted that it is only the first part of the Brahmastra trilogy. Speaking about the other two parts at the recently held FICCI event in Mumbai, Ayan, who shared the stage with producer Karan Johar, opened up about the details of the film.

At the recent FICCI event, Ayan Mukerji said, “We hope we can complete the film faster and people can enjoy it. That's the vision! Our production processes are now being able to fasten this Astraverse. It was very important to achieve that because we can’t take another 7 years to make Part 2. So how do we integrate that quality within that amount of time?” The filmmaker asserted that the work on the second installment of the trilogy will be completed at a much faster pace. He went on to add, “I feel that urge to start working on part two how to get faster. So that's the vision. We have to make this all happen.”

During the same event, Ayan also spoke about what the second and third parts will be like. While there have been theories and ideas floating around about what the next film will be, the filmmaker opened up by asserting that the two films will be a lot more technical unlike the first. He added, “I think what also attracted a lot of people was Indian spirituality along with the visual spectacle. I think it’s a very important ingredient. I realized very early on that the bedrock of this fantasy needs to come from Indian history.”

He added, “I did not approach the first part in a scholarly fashion, I approached it in a very emotional fashion. In fact, as I move on to part two and part three, we might get a little more academic on Astras and will be reading a lot about Indian mythology. But in Part One, I approached it in a very emotional manner. The first part was more about my connection with my faith, with God, stuff in me that I had forgotten, the shlokas that I had heard, what was my understanding of Hindu philosophy and I just expressed all of it. I went with this idea that if I do this in a pure way with a pure heart, somehow it will go through very naturally and people will not have any issues.”

He went on to speak about how Brahmastra did not get entangled in any controversy because he made it with pure intention. “I think we had one issue with Ranbir kicking the Kandi in the trailer you know he was wearing slippers but it went through very nicely. So I think my instinct worked,” he concluded.

Netflix is set to bring Gyeongseong Creature to viewers around the globe. The thriller series follows individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong, the series is highly anticipated due to the sheer amount of talent tied to it. Park Seo Joon, who received acclaim for his roles in the dramas Itaewon Class and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, and Han So Hee of My Name fame will headline the project.

Park Seo Joon plays Jang Tae Sang – the head of merchant marketplace Golden Jade House who is the wealthiest, most well-connected person in Gyeongseong. Tae Sang is someone who puts money before justice, but all that changes when he crosses paths with Yun Chae Ok while investigating a series of missing person cases.

Han So Hee plays Yun Chae Ok – a famous bounty hunter who can track down missing people, even ones who are dead. Chae Ok possesses a sharp eye and agile survival skills learned from her rough childhood roaming across Manchuria and Shanghai with her father.

The solid cast also includes Claudia Kim and Wi Ha Joon who have both received international acclaim for their roles. Claudia Kim plays Maeda, the wife of a powerful official in Gyeongseong during the colonial period. The actress has been active on the global stage through the films Avengers: Age of Ultron and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and the Netflix Series Marco Polo.

Wi Ha Joon, who made a lasting impression with his role in Squid Game and is currently starring in Little Women, plays Gwon Jun Taek, Tae Sang's best friend. He joins Tae Sang's dangerous plan in rescuing the people who have gone missing.

Joining them are popular and critically acclaimed actors Kim Hae Sook, and Cho Han Cheul. Gyeongseong is the former name of Korea’s capital city Seoul, and the name used during Japanese colonial rule. The upcoming series invites audiences to 1945 Gyeongseong, the hotbed of turmoil caused by creatures that suddenly appear and wreak havoc on an already troubled world.

Behind the scenes of this stellar cast lineup is a talented production team consisting of heavyweight hitmakers. The team is led by screenwriter Kang Eun K, who penned dramas across various genres such as Dr. Romantic and Kang Chi, the Beginning, and director Chung Dong Yoon, who flexed his powerful muscle as a creator in Stove League.

Ranveer Singh was in attendance at the inaugural of FICCI Frames fast track 2022 in Mumbai on Tuesday. At the opening session, the actor spoke about Brahmastra and the spectacle that has come with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer. Rumours are rife that the actor plays Dev in the next part though the makers continue to keep it under wraps. Showering praises on the film, the actor said that the film was a ‘fantastic big-screen offering’.

At FICCI Frames 2022, Ranveer said, "I thoroughly enjoyed the Brahmastra experience, the 'Astraverse'. It is a fantastic big-screen offering and something, unlike anything we've seen in Hindi cinema. I truly appreciate the efforts of my friends and putting that out there. There is now a very clear distinction between what is meant for the big screen. With the films releasing in theatres, it's imperative to have big-screen appeal, visual spectacle, scale, something you can't really experience at home or then a community watch. It's not the same when you're sitting alone and watching at home on the couch... It's a completely new landscape with the rise of new verticals."

Organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), FICCI Frames is India’s biggest international conference for the media and entertainment industries, covering film, television, digital entertainment, animation, gaming and visual effects.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen on the screen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He will be next seen in Karan Johar's upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. His next big screen release is Rohit Shetty's Cirkus dropping in theatres on December 23, 2022.

Salman Khan is once again taking his hosting duties. The actress is set to return to the TV screens with the 16^th season of the reality show, Bigg Boss. The official announcement of Bigg Boss 16 was made on Tuesday at a grand press conference in Mumbai. During the event, the actor spoke about the speculations about him not returning as the host of the reality show.

Addressing the claims at the press conference on Tuesday, Salman Khan said, “I also get irritated sometimes and tell this to people that I don’t want to do the show. But these people are majboor to take me. If not me, who then. However, if it was on them, they wouldn’t come to me. Main khud apne paas na jaun. But inke paas option nahi hai.”

When asked what brings him back to the show each season, he added, “Bahut kuch sekhne ko milta hai (I get to learn a lot). I get to meet so many people and whenever everyone goes off track, I like getting them back on the right way. I protect the bullied and bully the ones who bully. The four months that we are on air, we do develop a bond.”

At the event, the actor announced the first contestant, his Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-star and Tajik singer Abdu Rozik. Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on October 1 and the introduction to the contestants will be given on the premiere day. They will be locked inside the Bigg Boss house for a hundred days.

Reportedly, Bigg Boss 16 will see Tina Dutta, Sreejita De, Gautam Vig, Shalin Bhanot, Sumbul Touqueer, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Manya Singh, Soundarya Sharma and Gori Nagori enter the house this season. The contestants are yet to be officially announced.

10 years ago, moviegoers got entertained as well as enlightened like never before with OMG Oh My God. Starring Paresh Rawal in the lead and Akshay Kumar in a supporting role, this courtroom drama is about an atheist who sues God. It released on September 28 with minimal hype but ended up collecting a huge Rs. 81.46 crores. It opened at Rs. 4.25 crores on Friday while on Monday, it collected more (Rs. 4.60 crores). The next day was a national holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti and this is when the film collected Rs. 7.37 crores, surprising the trade and industry.

On the film’s 10th anniversary, writer-director Umesh Shukla, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, talks about his memories attached to the film and a lot more

Were Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal the first choice for OMG Oh My God?
Yes. Paresh bhai was confirmed from the very beginning. We were wondering who should play the role of God. A few years before the release of our film, God Tussi Great Ho (2018) released and it had not worked. Hence, we were confused about whom to cast and who’ll be ready to take up the role. When Akshay bhai saw the play (Kanji Viruddh Kanji), he loved it and showed interest in playing Lord Krishna. Also, corporates were not ready to back this film as they felt the script was risky. But later on, things fell in place smoothly.

How did you and the makers finalize the title of the film?
We had some different titles in our minds for the film. Initially, we decided to name the film Kanji Viruddh Kanji, just like the play on whom the film is based. Then, we felt that we need to have a youth-centric title. At that time, abbreviations of certain words had become fashionable. So, ‘OMG’ came out of my mouth and we realized that this is a perfect title. But then we feared that what if viewers don’t understand what OMG stands for? We then thought of going for Oh My God as the title. But it was already registered. This is when we decided to name the film OMG Oh My God. It sounded catchy as well. Thankfully, the youth took to the title. They embraced the film and soon, every section of the audience went to see it.

Salman Khan voiced the teaser of the film. How did he come on board?
It was a marketing strategy. We had shot for a promo and we happened to speak to Salman bhai. So, he agreed to provide the voiceover. He knew about the play and its plot though he had not seen the film then.

In the play, the lead character Kanji collapses in the courtroom and later dies. However, in the film, the ending was changed and Kanji was shown to have survived. Could you tell us what led you and the makers to tweak the ending of OMG Oh My God?
We did that for numerous reasons. An ending of that sort can be accepted in a drama as its audience is a bit niche, although in today’s times, even cinema audience is accepting. But at that point, we wanted to end the story on an optimistic note. Secondly, we realized that the film can possibly become a franchise and hence, it was important to keep the character alive. The subject is such that aap kisi bhi scam par Oh My God naam ki film bana sakte hai!

Having seen both the endings, I felt the film ending was more impactful…
Actually, on stage, certain things are not possible. But since the film is a different medium, you have the freedom to explore and enhance the new impact.
The film had some interesting Easter eggs that one might not discover in the first viewing. For instance, the number of Akshay Kumar’s bike is ‘OM + 786’, identifying the three main religions. Also, it seems like you consider Michael Jackson a God. That’s why his suit is being sold along with other divine items in Kanji bhai’s shop!
Oh yes. We had a blast shooting for the film and adding these aspects. We had worked a lot on the detailing. Everytime you see the film, you’ll discover something new which you hadn’t noticed before. Just some days back, somebody called and told me, ‘Kanji dil ke acche the. Kabootar ko daane khilate hai ek scene mein’! When people tell me about these things or when you remarked about Michael Jackson’s suit, it makes me really happy. I am surprised that people have noticed these small, small things.

During a Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview before the release of the film, Paresh Rawal revealed that many reputed religious leaders saw the film and they all enjoyed it. They agreed with the film’s message…
I had done a play at Beas for Radha Soami Satsang Beas members. They all loved it. Then there was another instance when a reputed priest during curtain call requested to speak on stage. He told us, ‘What we are not able to convey with our week-long ceremonies, you managed to communicate in just 2 ½ hours!”

Such kind of appreciation must have given you a high, isn’t it?
The monetary success or failure of a film or play is a different matter. But when you are able to bring a change in people’s lives through your work, it gives you immense satisfaction.

A 75-year-old couple came to meet me after watching the play. They told me, ‘I wish a play like this was made 20-25 years ago. Our life wouldn’t have been so dismal today’. I asked why they feel so. They replied, ‘We wasted our time adhering to certain beliefs and we went to great lengths while doing so. Usse accha humne bhagwan ko apne andar dhunda hota toh behtar hota’. They held my hand and started crying. They were so overwhelmed that they wanted to touch my feet! I, of course, stopped them and said, ‘Aap bade hai humse. Aap aisa please mat kijiye’. Such experiences are priceless and mean a lot to me, more than my film becoming a super hit.

It was also interesting to see the character of Arun Bali. He was a religious seer and yet, was in support of Kanji in his fight…
Yes, that was the idea that there are good seers also. He rightly says in the court that Sai Baba lived in poverty all his life. And ironically today, his idol is placed on a throne worth crores. Similarly, it is said that hum apne maa baap ko abhi kitna sukh dete hai, woh zaroori hai. Shraddh ke waqt unka manpasand khana bana ke koi fayda nahi hai. Rather, make them happy while they are still with you.

OMG Oh My God faced some protests due to the content. Did that worry you?
Not really. My film was balanced. Hence, it’s been 10 years and still, there’s been very less criticism. It’s not an anti-God film. We have shown God in the film and we have shown Him passing the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita. In fact, God advises Kanji that he should also read the Holy Quran and also the Bible to find answers to all the questions that he seeks. Koi bhi dharam galat nahin hai. It’s just that certain people interpret it wrongly and that’s where scams take place in the name of religion.

Do you think it would have been possible to make a film like OMG Oh My God in the present-day scenario when society is believed to have become far more intolerant than it was in 2012?
Yes, why not? Our film will not face a problem because as I said, it’s a balanced film. The film could have faced problems even during its release. However, we took a fair approach; it was a logical and rational script.

Did you visit cinema halls to check the audience's reactions?
Yes, I went to many theatres. I was very eager to know the public reaction to this film. I travelled to several theatres, that too in different cities. It was heartening that everywhere I went, the film was unanimously appreciated.

2 years after OMG Oh My God, Aamir Khan-starrer PK (2014) was released and though its plot was different, it gave viewers a déjà vu of OMG Oh My God. Rajkumar Hirani mentioned that he had thought of PK fighting a case against God in the case but Abhijat Joshi advised against it as he had seen your play…
Yes, it happens. If their film had come before ours, we would have had to change the script of OMG Oh My God!

There were also rumours that Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra had offered you Rs. 8 crores to stop the shoot of OMG Oh My God!
That was all false. They are all lovely and talented people. We look forward to their work as their film always enlightens us.

OMG Oh My God, starring Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar, will be released in 2023. However, you have not directed it…
Even Paresh bhai is not a part of it. We didn’t have any written agreement that only I can direct OMG Oh My God films. But I wish them great luck. The subject is that some great films can be made out of them. Also, the people associated with the film are quite talented. I am sure they’ll come up with a film that’ll entertain the audience.

Is there any update on the release plans of your next film, Aankh Micholi?
Sony Pictures will take a call. Now, theatres have reopened and business is almost back on track. The film is completely ready. So, it’ll be released soon

You were also supposed to make a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui…
We were planning but the project has been delayed. I am sitting on my laptop right now and working on its script!

And what about your biopic on Ujjwal Nikam?
It has also got delayed.

Finally, you have also acted in films. You were seen in a blink-and-miss appearance in OMG Oh My God! Do you plan to act more in future?
Life mein kaafi galtiyaan ki hai maine. Usme se ek (acting) hai (smiles)! On a serious note, I am game. If I am offered a good role, I’d definitely take it up. However, right now, I am busy directing, producing and writing films.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on Monday night, September 26. The actress reportedly complained of uneasiness. The actress is currently recuperating after numerous tests were done which took half a day.

The report in Pinkvilla suggested that it was a taxing situation due to which she was taken to the hospital. “The actress faced quite a taxing situation and was immediately hospitalized. Fortunately, Deepika is feeling better now,” the report read. The actress’ team is yet to release an official statement regarding her health.

In June 2022, it was reported that Deepika Padukone had complained of an increased heart rate and was in Hyderabad for the shoot of Project K alongside Prabhas. The actress was admitted to Kamineni Hospital for proper check-up.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Gehraiyaan with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. The film, helmed by Shakun Batra, was released on Amazon Prime Video India in February 2022. The actress will next star in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it is slated for January 25, 2023 release. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Following that, the actress has Project K with Prabhas and The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan. She reportedly has a cameo in Atlee Kumar’s next Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She filmed her scenes last month.

Superstar Salman Khan is set to return with the 16^th season of the reality show, Bigg Boss. At an official announcement on Tuesday in a grand press conference, the actor announced the first contestant, his Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-star Abdu Rozik.

Abdu Rozik is a Tajik singer, who is a sensation on social media and lives in Dubai. “It is great, he does not understand Hindi but can sing Hindi songs," Salman said as Abdu entered the stage singing ‘Dil Deewana’ from Maine Pyar Kiya. They spoke about what happens once you enter the house. While Rozik insisted one can expect a lot of drama, Salman Khan said that romance stars in the house first before the drama begins.

Talking about his entry into the house, Abdu said at the event, “I am very happy. I am excited to go inside the house. I love everyone and please support me.”

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took the internet by storm on Sunday, September 25 after he dropped a shirtless photo from the photoshoot for Pathaan. Since June 2022, every month on the 25^th, the makers have been dropping some kind of content in order to keep the excitement on a high amongst the fans. This past Sunday was no different though some might say SRK practically broke the internet.

Turns out, SRK was quite shy as his team was ‘staring’ at him during the photoshoot. Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani took to her Instagram to share the same photo SRK had shared earlier and captioned it as, “People will Stare.. making it worth their while with.”

SRK was quick to comment, “Uh???? you guys were the ones staring the most and making me shy & making me look like this…..@poojadadlani02 @anaitashroffadajania @tarun.vishwa @arunindulkar @raajluv @prashantsixpack @preetisheel.”

Stylist and Shah Rukh Khan’s long-time friend Anaita Shroff Adjani also left a comment, “And stare we did!” Make-up artist Preeti Sheel wrote, “Absolutely worth every bit of it.”

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had used Silsila’s iconic dialogue as a caption for the photo, to which Gauri Khan left a comment saying, “Oh God! Now he’s talking to his shirts also…..!!!!”

Back in June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan had hosted a live session on his Instagram on account of his 30-year-run in the film industry. While speaking to the fans, he said, “When we started shooting Pathaan, it was a lot of fun. It is an action film with wonderful co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Ashutosh Rana among others. It is the kind of film I wanted to do for 30 years. I always thought of myself as somebody who can do some cool action stuff. So, I think my impression about Pathaan is that what I really wanted to do when I first came to Mumbai, hopefully, I have achieved that in Pathaan as an actor.”

He admitted that he wanted to be an action hero in his 20s but is enjoying the process at 56 too.  “I enjoyed it. It is fun having to do action. It is a little late (referring to his age). At the age of 56, I am being macho and solid, trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team have put in a lot of hard work. Hopefully, it will work,” he smiled.

“I remember Siddharth narrating a lot of films to me. Unfortunately, we could not find the right time to collaborate for years. He had this title called Pathaan with him. And he would tell me that, ‘Sir, maine film ready kar li hai.’ One fine day, when we could not work on the two scripts he narrated, he sent me a sweet message, which read, ‘I have this title. I have not been able to get a film with you. Now, please take the title and make a film whenever you want,'” Shah Rukh Khan said revealing that Siddharth Anand came back to him with a new script. “The film has had a long journey. And soon, you all will be able to see it,” he said.

Pathaan has the biggest stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu!

Amid all the chaos around the remake version of ‘O Sajna’, Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak playing Garba and Dandiya have left netizens confused. For the unversed, days after the release of the Neha Kakkar track, Falguni Pathak slammed the makers of the song while revealing that she wanted to sue them. While the debate on the matter is making rounds on the internet, singer Sona Mohapatra has jumped into the conversation and defended her contemporaries. 

Before voicing her opinion, the ‘Ambarsariya’ singer shared a tweet bashing Bollywood music. In her tweet, Sona wrote, “the constant showcasing of a lack of courage to back new compositions, songwriters, disrespecting creators, writers has destroyed the fabric of what made #Bollywood music culturally relevant.The horror of the Sri Lankan ‘Manike Mage’ remade, case in point2. Puke worthy for me.”

The ‘Jiya Laage Na’ singer shared another tweet, in which she addressed Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak’s feud while commenting on people assuming that Neha-Falguni’s online tiff was nothing but a “publicity stunt”. Meanwhile, Hindustan Times has also published a report quoting the team of Falguni Pathak. An insider told the publication, “This particular segment was shot during the auditions round. It was shot in August. The timing is all coincidental. They shot the chunk for Navratri. In fact, at that time, Neha and Falguni were quite cordial. Currently, Neha doesn’t even wish to talk about Falguni and was quite clear that she won’t promote the particular episode or talk about what it was like to have Falguni on the sets”.

In just a few days, the highly anticipated Vikram Vedha, a Hindi remake of a Tamil film with the same name, is set to release in theatres. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles, the action-packed thriller is making the right kind of noise. The makers had an early screening recently for industry folks and Saif Ali Khan’s star-wife Kareena Kapoor Khan got to watch the film.

Following the screening, the Laal Singh Chaddha actress took to her Instagram story to share her thoughts on the film. Calling it a blockbuster, she wrote, “Best actors. Best film. Best directors. What a film!”

A day ago, the makers unveiled the theme song 'Bande' of the film. It is composed, arranged and programmed by SAM C S, as singer Sivam gave his powerful vocals to the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir.

Vikram Vedha is an action-thriller written & directed by Pushkar-Gayatri. The story is full of twists and turns, as a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and chase a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan).

Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by Bhushan Kumar & S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment. Vikram Vedha will hit the big screens globally on 30th September 2022.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The actress’ next project is with Netflix. It is Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X adaptation with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.

Falguni Pathak and Neha Kakkar were trending on the internet over the remake of ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’ While Falguni expressed her disappointment saying she would take legal action for the rights of the song was with her, Neha defended herself with a cryptic note on Instagram addressing her ‘haterz’ trolling her for ‘O sajna'. However, it seems Kakkar and Pathak seem to have put all of this back rather quickly as recently, Falguni Pathak met Neha Kakkar on the sets of the latter's singing reality show Indian Idol, and played Garba with her.

In the video, Neha can be seen talking about a special theatre round while mentioning that the same day marks the start of Navratri. Later, she introduces ‘legendary’ Falguni ma’am. As the video progresses, we can see the Dandiya Queen singing one of her special Garba ‘Mane Mavtar Made To’ while Neha along with Himesh Reshammiya, Aditya Narayan, and other fellow contestants can be seen enjoying garba and dandiya.

For the unversed, a week ago, Kakkar dropped her latest track, ‘O Sajna’, which is a remade version of Falguni Pathak’s song that released back in the ‘90s. Including netizens, Pathak also critiqued the song. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pathak said, “I wish I could (take legal steps) but the rights are not with me”, when asked if she is planning on taking the legal route. Meanwhile, in another interaction with Delhi Times, Pathak was quoted saying, “I got to know about the remixed version three-four days back. First reaction was not good. I was like, mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha. (I was about to puke, it was like that)”.

On the other hand, in a cryptic post, Neha addressed her haters and wrote, “Very few people in the world get what I have received in life. That too in such a young age. This kind of fame, love, countless super hit songs, super duper hit tv shows, world tours, fans from little kids to 80-90 years old people and what not! You know why I Got all this because of my talent, hard work , passion and positivity.”

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is reportedly dating Joelle Rich, the lawyer who represented Depp in his 2018 libel lawsuit against The Sun. According to Page Six, earlier this week, it was reported that the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been romantically involved with Rich, one of the defense attorneys from his 2020 U.K. libel lawsuit against The Sun.

As the report suggests, Depp isn’t exclusive with his lawyer-turned-girlfriend. The London-based lawyer represented Depp when he sued The Sun for calling him a "wife-beater" in a news article on former-wife Amber Heard's allegations of domestic violence. Depp lost the case with a judge ruling it's "substantially true" he abused Amber Heard on multiple occasions. His team soon filed to appeal the ruling, but the claim was denied in March 2021.

While Rich did not represent Depp in his defamation lawsuit against Heard in the U.S. earlier this summer, she did make several appearances at the courtroom during the trial. At the time she anticipated the US trial would reveal “complete, irrefutable evidence of the truth in the U.S. libel case against Ms. Heard where she will have to provide full disclosure.”

In the U.S. trial, the actor was represented by Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew. Depp eventually won the case in June with jury concluding that Heard intentionally and maliciously defamed Depp when she wrote a 2018 Washington Post op-ed identifying herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

The jury ordered Amber Heard to pay Johnny Depp $15 million in damages and awarded the Aquaman actress $2 million as compensation for one of Depp’s former lawyers having defamed Heard in the media.

A group of 40 crew members, that worked on the production of Don't Worry Darling, issued a joint statement on Saturday denying the reports of tensions between director Olivia Wilde and star Florence Pugh on the set of the psychological thriller.

According to Entertainment Weekly, allegations that Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh got into a "screaming match" on set are "complete false," according to the crew members, which include writer and producer Katie Silberman, producer Miri Yoon, costume designer Arianne Phillips, and director of photography Matthew Libatique.

"As a crew, we've avoided addressing the absurd gossip surrounding the movie we're so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous 'sources' quoted in a recent article," Silberman and co. said in a joint statement issued to People. "Any allegations about unprofessional behavior on the set of Don't Worry Darling are completely false."

Olivia Wilde, "an incredible leader and director who was present with and involved in every aspect of production," the crew said, "ran this set with class and respect for everyone involved." The statement continued, "There was never a screaming match between our director and anyone, let alone a member of our cast."

"We are happy to put our names on this, as real people who worked on the film, and who have witnessed and benefitted from the collaborative and safe space Olivia creates as a director and leader," the crew members continued. "We're also thrilled that the movie is in theaters this weekend."

Miri Yoon, a producer for Don't Worry Darling, also told PEOPLE exclusively, "Rumors of screaming matches between our director and leading lady on set are completely unfounded. We truly hope you enjoy the movie." The statement comes after a Friday report from Vulture tabloid in which an anonymous source recalled a “screaming match” between Wilde and Pugh.

The report said then-studio head Toby Emmerich had to intervene and moderate a “long negotiation process” to ensure that Pugh would participate in the film’s press promotion and “not jeopardize the potential box office.”

Don't Worry Darling arrives in theaters September 30.

Global popstar Rihanna confirmed she will be headlining the next Super Bowl Halftime Show for Super Bowl LVII.

The nine-time Grammy winner shared a picture of an NFL-branded football on her Instagram, hunting that she will be performing at the next Halftime Show. The show is set to take place at the State Farm Stadium on February 12, 2023 in Glendale, AZ.

According to Variety, Roc Nation also officially confirmed the singer’s participation through a statement released on Sunday. The game, which typically draws one of the biggest single TV audiences of the year, is scheduled to be played at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on February 12.

Following the announcement, Jay-Z – who is also part of organizing the massive NFL halftime showcase – said Sunday, “Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. The upcoming Super Bowl will feature the first halftime show sponsored by Apple Music. After giving two back-to-back hits in 2020, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff returned to the silver screen with Heropanti 2 in 2022. However, the highly-anticipated film failed to cast its magic at the box office. The action-drama closed its account with less than Rs 50 crores in its bag. Though the makers and the star cast remained tight-lipped on Heropanti 2’s poor performance, Tiger has finally broken his silence.

Interestingly, on Saturday, the Baaghi actor took to his social media handle and hosted an Ask-Me-Anything session on his Instagram. The actor gave answers to a bunch of questions asked by his fans and followers. One among them asked Tiger, “Heropanti 2 karke aapko kaisa laga (how did you feel after doing Heropanti 2)”. In his response to the query, the actor wrote, “it was a lot of fun before the film's release, but not after the release”, in Hindi.

For the unversed, the Ahmed Khan directorial was the sequel of Tiger’s debut film, which also marked the debut of Kriti Sanon. Whereas, the sequel featured Tiger’s SOTY 2 co-star Tara Sutaria as the leading lady. Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was seen essaying the antagonist named Laila.

Earlier, Bollywood Hungama reported that the trailer of the upcoming film is cleared by CBFC with UA Certificate while revealing the runtime. A source told us, “Akshay Kumar is already gearing for his fourth theatrical release this year and fifth overall. Following the release of Raksha Bandhan in cinemas in August, his next is Ram Setu hitting the theatres during Diwali 2022.”

Adding further, the source continued, “Now, the fans can get excited that the trailer of the film has been cleared by CBFC with an a U/A certificate. The runtime of the trailer is around 3 minutes and 10 seconds. The countdown for the trailer launch begins.”

Talking about the film, along with Kumar, the star cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is an action-adventure drama that brings forward a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and her link to alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar only gets entangled further as the matter continues to make news. The latest update on that front was that the actress will appear before Delhi’s Patiala House court on Monday morning, in connection with the extortion case. As per several reports, Fernandez’s legal team will be seeking pre-arrest bail.

The Kick actress will appear before special NIA judge Shailendra Malick. The supplementary charge sheet in the case has been submitted, therefore at the time of Fernandez's appearance before the court, her legal team will be submitting a pre-arrest bail application. Last week, Jacqueline was questioned by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police for over seven hours. She had been called in for questioning on her alleged involvement in the crime a second time.

On the other hand, Fernandez’s stylist Leepakshi Ellawadi was also questioned at Delhi EOW, where she admitted that she was given Rs. 3 crores by Sukesh Chandrashekhar to purchase actress’ gifts. As per a PTI report, Ellawadi confirmed Jacqueline and Sukesh’s relationship and revealed that Sukesh contacted her in an attempt to understand the likes and dislikes of Jacqueline. Her statement also mentioned that the conman was trying to woo the actress.

For the unversed, the Housefull actress has been accused of being in a relationship with alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is involved in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case. However, the actress has asserted that she wasn’t aware of his crimes when she was in touch with him. The actress has been accused of receiving gifts worth Rs. 7 crores.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Thank God, is indeed having a grim day as his pet Coco passed away yesterday. The actor, on Sunday, took to his verified social media handle and mourned over his beloved pet’s death. Sharing the same with his fans and followers on Instagram and Twitter, Devgn wrote a note.

The Golmaal star wrote, “I’m sad to have lost my pet Coco yesterday”. He further added, “RIP big fella. The family and I miss you deeply and for always”, along with a broken heart emoticon. Many Twitterati flooded the comments section with “RIP”.

As Chup: The Revenge of the Artist released this weekend, the film has managed to receive a positive response from the audience as well as the critics. Interestingly, before the release of the film, the lead actress of the venture, Shreya Dhanwanthary exclusively spoke about criticism and social media trolls with Bollywood Hungama. During her candid conversation with us, she discussed how none of the social media platforms has been a blessing for her.

When asked if she has experience trolls, the Why Cheat India actress says, “So far no social media has been a blessing for me because again, I feel like an underdog so I feel like I'm still flying under the radar. So it should be fun to see where I go from here so far I've not I mean I've gotten nothing but love from the audiences.”

Apart from this, the Ladies Room actress also discussed how the success of Scam 1992 and The Family Man gave a kick to her career. She asserts, “I think Family Man is the one that brought me to the attention of a lot of people which I think laid the ground for me to get Scam.
