The latter also visited Sonam in London during her pregnancy days and stayed with her sister during her second trimester. And now that the actress welcomed an adorable baby boy, their homecoming was planned in the grandest way possible by the Kapoor girl. Rhea also took to social media to share videos of the grand welcome she planned for Baby Kapoor-Ahuja.

Sonam Kapoor returned home, a day ago, after her delivery. Her husband Anand Ahuja and father Anil Kapoor expressed their happiness by distributing sweets to the media, and sister Rhea Kapoor showed her happiness by planning the grandest welcome for the new mother and her little boy. The child's maasi planned a special welcome for her sister and her nephew. Their house was decorated with beige-golden balloons and banners that read, ‘Welcome Baby Kapoor Ahuja’. Videos of the special décor were also shared on her Instagram story.

Earlier this week, Rhea Kapoor took to Instagram to share a series of photos after she visited her sister Sonam Kapoor and met Baby Kapoor-Ahuja for the first time along with her mother Sunita Kapoor. The producer-designer also wrote about how she got emotional during her visit and also shared a photo of her getting teary-eyed and emotional. She posted the photos saying, “Rhea masi is not ok. The cuteness is too much. The moment is unreal. I love you @sonamkapoor the bravest mommy and @anandahuja the most loving dad. Readers would be aware that Sonam Kapoor Ahuja spent most of her pregnancy days in London. She returned to Mumbai to spend time with her family during her final trimester. The actress, who was last seen in The Zoya Factor, shared an Instagram post along with husband Anand Ahuja announcing the arrival of their baby with a post on social media that read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed. Sonam & Anand.”

Considering that the fantasy adventure drama Brahmastra is a pan India release, the team of the film is collaborating with some renowned names in the South industry. While they joined hands with the blockbuster filmmaker SS Rajamouli for their film promotions down South, yet another popular actor from the Telugu industry has extended his association with the movie. It is none other than RRR actor Junior NTR who gained a global fan base with the big budget multi starrer that also featured Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt.

He will be reuniting with RRR co-star Alia Bhatt who also plays the leading lady of Brahmastra. Junior NTR has been invited as the Chief Guest for the pre-release event of the Ayan Mukerji film. The said event will be held in Hyderabad, right before the release of the film, on September 2. Announcing their association with the Telugu star, the official Instagram handle of the movie posted a video which featured scenes from Brahmastra as well as from Junior NTR’s movies. Brahmastra also features Telugu superstar Nagarjuna in the role of Nandi Astra. Besides Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna, the film will also see Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in extremely pivotal roles. Based on Indian mythology, the film is based on the concept of the most powerful Astra (weapon), the Brahmastra. The forthcoming release is a part of a trilogy and has been in the making for the past seven years. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, it is also the first film to feature real life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together. It is slated to release on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Satyaprem Ki Katha will be a special challenge for Kartik Aaryan. It will require him to undergo many layers of personality makeover to emerge in a completely new light. The actor on the lookout for new challenges says he will plunge into a role and film only if he is challenged as an actor. “There is no point in doing what I’ve already done.”

In Satyaprem Ki Katha the milieu, the era, the clothes and body language need a complete makeover. Kartik Aaryan is up for the challenge. “He will set aside a large chunk of his time later this year for intense workshops. There will be a huge volume of preparation and speech modification. Kartik will be unrecognizable in the part,” says a source close to the project.

Going by the intensity of preparation involved, and the director Sameer Vidwans’ earlier achievements in his landmark Marathi film Anandi Gopal, this could be the film that could get Kartik his first National award.

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora recently attended the pre-wedding bash of designers Kunal Rawal with Arpita Mehta. Needless to say, the special day saw the presence of some big names from the industry. Arjun Kapoor recently also walked the ramp of designer Kunal and attended his reception along with girlfriend Malaika Arora, and the two of them were seen dancing their heart out on ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ during the post-wedding party.

Readers would be aware that the song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ remains to be iconic even today. The song was an A R Rahman musical with Sukhwinder Singh and Sapna Awasthi and is from the 1998 Shah Rukh Khan, Manisha Koirala starrer Dil Se. The film also marked the debut of Preity Zinta and was directed by Mani Ratnam. As for the song, it featured Malaika Arora in a special appearance and her dance remains to be legendary.

‘Hero’ Shah Rukh Khan and ‘Villain’ John Abraham are getting ready for the fight of the year in Pathaan. Apparently their climactic faceoff in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan will be a fist-to-fist combat between Khan and Abraham, thereby making this the first onscreen action sequence where a shirtless Shah Rukh will step on camera.

Incidentally John has as important a role as Shah Rukh in Pathaan. Says director Siddharth Anand, “John Abraham is THE antagonist, THE villain of Pathaan. I have always believed in the fact that the villain’s projection should be as big, if not bigger than that of the hero’s. Only when the villain is massive, can the tussle between them be spectacular.”

About the confrontation between the two stars Anand reveals, “We have an extraordinary battle when SRK takes on John! We wanted to present John in a super slick avatar.”

The director says the first looks of the actors are teasing people into the world of Pathaan. “The first looks of SRK, Deepika Padukone and John, truly represent the zone we want the audiences to view the film in. People have now just got a taste of the world of Pathaan. Inspired by one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the Broadway musical Come Fall In Love by Aditya Chopra is all set to premiere in the US. The show will open in San Diego on September 14 and will continue till October 16. Along with a special note by Aditya Chopra, the news was posted on the official Instagram account of Yash Raj Films. For the uninitiated, the original Bollywood film featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead and released was in 1995.

Yash Raj Films shared the news on social media saying, “Aditya Chopra’s Broadway-bound musical Come Fall In Love (CFIL) is set to open at The Old Globe, San Diego on September 14. Here’s his note inviting people to see a celebration of love on stage… The musical’s official Opening is on Wednesday, September 14, and will run through October 16. #ComeFallInLove @theoldglobe”. Explaining how close Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is to his heart, Aditya Chopra penned the note saying, “I first conceived the story of DDLJ (even before it was called DDLJ) as a Hollywood story of a white American man and an Indian woman. My main motivation at that time was to present Indian culture and values to a global audience. Years later, as I reimagine the story as a Broadway musical. My mainstay is still the same, showcasing Indian culture to a world audience. And the most powerful way to depict a country’s culture and values is to see it from the perspective of someone who does not belong to the same culture. That is the starting point of Come Fall In Love, the story of Indian Simran, her culture and heritage through the eyes of American Roger.”

He went on to share, “Come Fall In Love is the story of Simran, an Indian American. She is at the center of the musical’s story, as she struggles to balance her love for Indian tradition and her family with her love for Roger. He is a white American man who falls madly in love with Simran and then falls in love with her culture and her country. He aspires towards India and finds a new version of himself in India’s energy, values, and way of life.”

The story is about unidentified parasitic life-forms that live off of human hosts and strive to grow their power. As they start to disrupt society, a group of humans wage war against the rising evil.

Hitoshi Iwaaki's original comic book series Parasyte about invasive life-forms that seize and control human bodies has sold over 25 million copies over 20 territories and countries. The Walking Dead veteran Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be joining the cast of the Amazon Original Series The Boys in Season 4 as a recurring guest star. Details on his character are being kept under wraps for Morgan’s reunion with showrunner Eric Kripke.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan played patriarch John Winchester on Kripke’s Supernatural and marks as the latest to join after Jensen Ackles having boarded season 3 as Soldier Boy.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s charisma, undeniable charm and versatility have landed him a variety of prestigious films and television series working alongside award-winning actors and filmmakers.  Having worked nonstop the past few years, Morgan continues to capture the attention of Hollywood and has emerged as one of the industry’s most sought-after leading men.

Just a day ago, news of Raju Srivastava gaining consciousness went viral after certain reports claimed that the actor-comedian has come out of ventilator. However, denying these, daughter Antara Srivastava took to Instagram to share a note where she not only updated everyone about Raju’s health condition but also requested them to only believe statements given by family members and doctors. However, in the note, Antara did assure fans and well-wishers that the actor-comedian’s health is indeed improving.

Antara Srivastava took to the official Instagram account of Raju Srivastava to share a note saying, “Dear all well-wishers, My dad Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment.” The clarification statement came after the personal secretary of Raju Srivastava, Garvit Narang assured everyone that the actor-comedian is out of ventilator and gained consciousness in a statement given to news agency ANI.

Furthermore, Antara, in her note, also requested everyone to only trust information that is given by AIIMS hospital in Delhi and the official social media accounts of Raju Srivastava. “Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable. The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We’re thankful to them and his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery,” the statement concluded.

For the uninitiated, Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS Delhi after the actor-comedian collapsed during his gym training session on August 10 due to cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital by his trainer and later, the doctors had to perform CPR at least twice to recover his heartbeat. Followed by the incident, the actor-comedian is also said to have suffered brain damage and is currently on ventilator.

And his look from the ad is definitely a reminiscent of his look as Pushpa Raj from Pushpa.

A photo of Allu Arjun that has taken the social media by storm recently is the one where he is shooting for commercial for KFC. His curly hair, ripped jeans and floral shirt looks like a recreation of his rugged avatar from Pushpa. Needless to say, his look is getting a lot of appreciation from fans. Speaking of Allu Arjun, his last film Pushpa, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, went on to become a record breaking success. The Pan India film that released in multiple languages including Hindi, released amidst the pandemic in December 2021. Despite that, the film managed to garner ample audience in theatres. Directed by Sukumar, the film is expected to even have a sequel.

The new episode of Koffee With Karan 7 saw Kabir Singh co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The two stars spoke about their films, careers, relationships and more. During the episode, the actor spoke about his marriage to Mira Rajput, with whom he has 13-year-age gap. The actor tied the knot in July 2015.

When Karan Johar asked Shahid Kapoor whether it was a conscious decision to marry someone from outside the industry, he said, "So for me, it was very simple. I have two very distinct sides to myself. One is obviously what people see of me being an actor, and from the fraternity, and the glitz and the glamour, you know all that. And then I also have a very homely and spiritual side to myself. I have a deep faith and I am vegetarian. I don't drink. You know, I have all those things, so, I always found it difficult to come across somebody, who would be able to understand both sides of me. And I really struggled with that and I was 34 and I was kind of ready to settle down because I had been living on my own for over ten years and just at that time, through family and through friends everything came up but it just happened and we met and it's the best thing that happened in my life. And I feel she brings so much into my world and she balances me out and she makes me feel very normal and we have beautiful children. And I am very thankful for that."

Karan Johar also appreciated Mira Rajput who has come into her own and asked Shahid whether he encouraged her in her career domain as she has "become a bit of a strong influencer." Shahid added, "I don't know how much she sees I have. I am not a very in your face kind of a person. When we got married, I was 34 and she was 20. So I had to approach it very differently. She needed to be cared for, with kid gloves. She had left everything in her life and had come to Bombay. I was very established in my space and films in general and this world of films can be very intimidating and judgmental. Sometimes, I used to feel like I know too much and I think I can tell her what to do and how to be. But I used to sometimes do it from a place of wanting to protect her. This is because I had been in that place myself. I was this kid from Lokhandwala, who at 21, did well and didn't know how to be."

Kiara Advani added, "I think she always was. In the episode also, I remember when you guys were on the couch (referring to an episode from a previous season of Koffee With Karan). I think she brings a lot of calmness and stability to Shahid's life and he told me, 'I have sensed that I have someone to go back home to and I always wanted that' and I felt that it was so beautiful and she is truly one of the loveliest people and I really love her and think she is like this fresh, warm sunshine in his life."

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot in July 2015. The couple are parents to two kids - a daughter named Misha and a son named Zain.

Earlier this week, the trailer of the Akshay Kumar starrer Cuttputlli was released. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari the film narrates the story of a serial killer, who targets schoolgirls. While the trailer received mixed reaction, especially since the film is said to be a remake of the south film Ratsasan, the film itself is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar in September. But before it hits the OTT platform Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Disney+ Hotstar has shelled out a whopping Rs. 125 crore to acquire Cuttputlli.

“Akshay Kumar’s recent releases have been going through a bit of turmoil at the box office. However, with Cuttputlli the makers had decided to go the OTT way and Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the film”, confirms a source. Further talking about the amount, the OTT platform spent on this acquisition the source informed Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, the digital streaming rights were sold for Rs. 125 crores to Disney+ Hotstar. Given the current scenario, it is a bonanza for the makers.”

As for Cuttputlli, produced by Pooja Entertainment the film features Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari Cuttputlli releases on Disney+ Hotstar on September 2, 2022.

Kangana Ranaut directorial and starrer Emergency is all set to begin soon. While Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade and Mahima Chaudhry have already joined the film’s cast, Milind Soman now has been roped in to essay the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He was the Chief of the army staff during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.

Talking about the character and about Milind Soman, Kangana Ranaut says, “Sam Manekshaw was the hero of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Milind Soman’s overpowering screen presence and talent were ideal for the kind of actor we were looking for to play this important role. Sam Manekshaw had clarity of vision, was a strong-headed individual and his relevance is huge in the film. The film showcases how two very strong-headed personalities, Mrs. Gandhi and Sam Maneskshaw, worked together to fight the war against Pakistan. This chapter of history intrigues me a lot as it delves into how things worked and panned out for them. We are privileged that Milind Sir will be playing this role. I hope this film does justice to his enormous talent and great screen presence.”

Manikarnika Films presents Emergency which is written and directed by Kangana Ranaut. The film is produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut. The screenplay and dialogues are by Ritesh Shah.

Kiara revealed that she and Sidharth “are more than close friends”. During rapid-fire round, when Karan asked Kiara, “If you current life was a movie title, what would it be called?”, she answered Shershaah, The actors were also seen together in the Captain Vikram Batra biopic.

In the film, the character Meghna had an orgasm in front of the whole family. The role was like a second innings for Kiara and completely changed the game for her in the industry with her now becoming the go-to leading in every big project. Karan said, "I had offered it to Kriti Sanon, the role and she said that her mom didn't allow her."

Karan continued, "I thought everybody's mom would stand in line, not allowing their daughters. It's actually a very empowering story. It's about a woman's right to pleasure. So I met Kiara at Manish Malhotra's house, and I just saw her, I knew her of course, I knew her as Alia Advani then...so I met her and I asked can you come tomorrow and meet me, it's for a short film. She came and she heard it and then she was a little zoned out.

"She said, are you directing it? I said yes. Then she said, yeah! I'm doing it!" Kiara said citing that Karan Johar directed the project and it is an opportunity for her to work with him. She said, "I have to say that when I signed the film, it was only to work with Karan Johar."

Karan asked, "Recently, your film didn't perform to expectation. On a performance that was very largely loved and everyone said you were outstanding and actually coming from a performance that was National Award winning, was it tough for you to deal with how the film went at the box office, or did you just accept it for what it was and moved on because the climate is such?"

Shahid replied, "Actually in December, when we were supposed to release it on the 31st and we couldn't release, because COVID came in and Delhi got shut down. It literally happened 3 days before. All our marketing material was out and everything had been released and very clearly in my head in December, I asked myself,  "Am I thinking from my head or from my heart?" Because it was a film that was very close to our hearts and I was very emotionally involved in the character and the father-son dynamic had affected me personally as well. And my director and producer, Aman and Gautam, both of them were very keen that the film goes to the big screen."

He continued, "When in December it didn't happen, I was really thinking that should we just straight go to digital now. Because its really difficult to repeatedly keep creating the hype around the film, especially when all your material is out and then unfortunately we released in April, which was not a great month for us because there was a certain mood and a certain type of cinema which the audience was watching and we had shifted our date multiple times by the time we released, but you are still optimistic and hopeful thinking that things will get sorted but it didn't work out like that and I feel maybe we didn't do the right thing on the film maybe the film needed to be protected."

After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous eight seasons, Zee TV is all set to launch the 9th edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs this time with Bharti Singh as the host.

After announcing Shankar Mahadevan and Anu Malik as the show's judges, the channel has now finalized comedian Bharti Singh as the host of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9. While Bharti has hosted several shows in the past, this is the first time she will be seen hosting a reality show on Zee TV. It will also be the first time she will host a reality show featuring kids.

Talking about being part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Bharti Singh mentioned, “I have been a part of a couple of awards shows on the channel and I have made a few appearances on some popular shows too, however, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will be the first show that I host full-time for Zee TV. I am really excited and glad as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the longest-running reality show franchise, making it an honour for all of us to be associated with it. I must add that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is also going to be the first time I host a reality show featuring kids. Being a new mother myself, it really makes it even more special to see young talents from across India shine on the grand stage. I am really looking forward to the new season to begin.”

On ground auditions for the new season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs have begun across the country. It will soon take place in major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Nagpur. While Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is all set to premiere soon on the channel, the date is yet to be finalized.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to social media on Tuesday night to inform his followers that he had tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time. The actor has been shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

On Tuesday night, the megastar took to his official Twitter account to share the news. “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also," he wrote.

Back in 2020, Big B had tested positive for Covid-19 and was even admitted to the hospital. He had tweeted, “I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital. Family and staff undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested."
