After being a global star, an investor, and an owner of a restaurant, Priyanka Chopra Jonas added another feather to her cap as she turned into an entrepreneur with her haircare product Anomaly. The actress recently landed in her home country after three years as Anomaly made its debut in India. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Chopra talked about her haircare brand and how it is a reflection of Indian haircare DIY rituals.

While calling Anomaly Indian hair care, PeeCee asserted, “Indian hair contributes to the most amount of wigs in the world. And it is because we have an abundance of it. It's thick, it's and that's not just genes. It comes from the rituals of oiling and taking care of our hair. We didn't grow up with hot tools and tongs and blow dryers. Our hair care was oil. And I remember my grandmother used to sit me down or oil my hair and I used to hate it.”

The ‘Desi Girl’ further added, “But that's what Anomaly is about. Anomaly is not a shampoo or a haircare range that is just to clean your hair or style your hair.” She also called Anomaly gender inclusive and elaborated by saying, “We are not for women or for men, hair is hair. Our marketing has told us that men's hair care and women's hair care are different. It is for anybody who has hair on their head. It is for them.”

Concluding her take on the same, the Bajirao Mastani actress said, “It has great ingredients. It's clean. It has no parabens, or sulphates. None of that stuff, which could ever exist in shampoos.”

Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has finally come back to her home country India after three years. On being asked how involved she is in this business, given that acting is her day job, PeeCee asserted, “I'm involved in every business of mine, if anything has my name on it, then I'm involved in, I don't attach my name to anything unless like, I can make sure I have quality control, or I have the ability to say, I can take it to the maximum the potential that it has.”

The actress further was further asked if because of her fans she is attached to her business. In her response, the actress said, “I'm not relying on my fans to be able to be my only consumer base. I want to create a loyal consumer base based on the product itself. So for me, it's really important that I'm associated with excellence. I always associate myself with and strive for excellence. So we worked for a year and a half on this product before it even hit the market in America two years ago. And today we are with multiple retail partners.

On her association with Nykaa, the Baywatch actress informed us, “The Nykaa team told me that they have about 44,000 plus beauty brands on their platform, and we are in the top 10 today, just in three months. That's not because of my name. That's because we have repeat customers, people that have used it and come back and bought more. And that just is such a validating feeling.”

As she continued speaking on the same, the Bajirao Mastani actress called herself a learner and added, “Before this, I was more like an investor. I am someone who always walks with caution. I don't run at a very fast speed.”

After the release of the third installment, fans are eagerly waiting for the next part in the movie series. In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Arbaaz Khan spilled some beans about it.

After a fun rapid-fire round with us, Arbaaz participated in a Yes or No game. During the same, we asked the actor to confirm if Tigmanshu Dhulia is directing Dabangg 4. Khan took a pause for a couple of seconds, but responded by saying, “I'm not too sure about that at this point in time.”

Interestingly, in the rapid-fire round, we asked the Dabangg 3 actor to state aspects that make the Dabangg series special. In his quick answer, he said, “It's very heartland. It’s very rustic and very rooted. It has a very distinct character who is not completely white.”

For the unversed, Arbaaz also talked about his recently released web-series Tanaav. The 12-episode show is streaming on SonyLiv. Directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Krishn, the web show is an Indian remake of an Israeli show Fauda. The ensemble star cast of the series features Danish Husain, Ekta Kaul, Manav Vij, M. K. Raina, Rajat Kapoor, Satyadeep Mishra, and Shashank Arora, among others.

There is a lot of Hera Pheri happening around the casting of Hera Pheri 3. Earlier, it was reported that Akshay Kumar would be doing 3 films – Hera Pheri 3, Awara Pagal Deewana 2, and Welcome 3. The talks were on between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and actor Akshay Kumar for a while now and the reports gave in a sense of excitement to all Khiladi fans. Just days after the reports, it came to everyone’s surprise that Hera Pheri 3 is happening with Kartik Aaryan and not Akshay Kumar.

We put in our detective hat and tried to decode what went wrong in the last week, which has led to Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay Kumar. According to our sources, producer Firoz Nadiadwala was having parallel conversations with both Akshay and Kartik over the last few weeks. “Firoz is keen to revive Hera Pheri franchise and wanted to start it as soon as possible. After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik is also a hot property for Akshay Kumar franchises and hence, he was discussing Hera Pheri 3 with both Akshay and Kartik,” a source informed Bollywood Hungama.

The source added, “Through the discussion, Akshay Kumar quoted Rs. 90 crores as his fees plus some share of profit as his remuneration for Hera Pheri 3 whereas Kartik Aaryan was willing to do it for Rs. 30 crores. Firoz went to the satellite and digital players with the two probable casting calls and that’s when he realised that the proposition of working with Kartik Aaryan was giving him more lucrative returns in the final tally than working with Akshay. The difference in the remuneration price was nearly Rs. 60 crores between both actors. However, the film was fetching only Rs. 15 crores lesser from satellite and digital players for Kartik as compared to Akshay. Firoz was nearing saving Rs. 45 crores by signing Kartik for the film.”

Firoz went to Akshay again and tried to convince him to enter into a profit-sharing arrangement. “Akshay turned it down as he felt, the franchise benefits majorly from his presence. After several rounds of meetings, the conversations were not moving in the right direction and ended in a stalemate. That was the final nail in the coffin. Finally, Firoz Nadiadwala had no choice but to sign his contract with Kartik Aaryan and the duo are now all set to revive Hera Pheri 3. Firoz feels that Kartik is the best fit for the role of Raju. In-fact, the entire script has now been worked on keeping Kartik’s image in mind,” informed the source, adding further, “Hera Pheri 3 warrants the presence of a young Raju. It’s a solid script and will do justice to the Hera Pheri franchise.”

Hera Pheri 3 will in all possibilities be directed by Anees Bazmee and the talks at the moment are in advanced stages. “With Akshay Kumar, the director would have been Farhad Samji, since the actor himself was taking a lion's share. Signing Anees Bazmee (For Rs. 25 crores) would have meant Akshay plus Anees taking home Rs. 115 crores, even without a single frame being shot. The key to the success of Hera Pheri 3 lies in the constrained budget too, and now, everything has fallen into place,” the source told Bollywood Hungama.

Hera Pheri 3 is currently in the scripting and pre-production stage.

American actor Kevin Conroy, who gave his voice to Batman on Warner Bros.’ TV show Batman: The Animated Series, has died at 66. Series producer Warner Bros. announced the heartbreaking news on Friday. Conroy died on Thursday.

On the official Instagram handle of WarnerBros. Animation, the company shared a post while expressing their grief over his death. In the caption, they wrote, “Warner Bros. Animation is saddened by the loss of our dear friend Kevin Conroy. His iconic portrayal of Batman will forever stand among the greatest portrayals of the Dark Knight in any medium. Delhi Crime is a web series streaming on Netflix. The two-season web series managed to grab the attention with its gripping storyline. While season one was released in 2019, the streaming giant dropped season two this year in August.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is gearing up for his upcoming release Bhediya. While the trailer and songs from the film have left the audience spellbound, the actor is keeping them engaged with his social media game. After gracing the Meta Creators stage and launching a Bhediya-theme filter on Instagram, Dhawan has shared another intriguing post. However, this time it is rather a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of Bhediya.

In the video post, shared on Varun’s official handle on Friday, he can be seen enjoying a drive with his Bhediya co-stars Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee, and Paalin Kabak. While Paalin can be seen driving, Varun is shooting the video. Meanwhile, Deepak and Abhishek join as the video captures them in the back seat.

The Bhediya cast can be seen singing ‘Dekho Maine Dekha Hai Yeh Ek Sapna’ and ‘Teri Yaad Aa Rahi Hai’ from 1981’s release Love Story. Captioning the video post, Dhawan wrote, “Bts-We sang songs in between shots / With #deepakdobriyal @nowitsabhi @paalinkabak driving around ziro #bhediya.”

Coming back to Bhediya, the upcoming creature-comedy is slated to release on November 25. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also features Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. Bhediya is said to be a part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe.

Interestingly, a couple of days before its theatrical release, Bhediya will be premiered at the International Film Festival Of India, which will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28. Bollywood Hungama had also reported that Varun Dhawan will be performing live at the event.

Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani, Uunchai releases today, on November 11, 2022. Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news that Uunchai will get a limited-screen release. Here is another update on the same.

Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Uunchai has got 483 screens across India along with 351 screens overseas. Meanwhile, the film has bagged 70 screens in Nepal, which makes a total of 904 screens. It is worth mentioning here that Uunchai is extensively shot in Nepal.

In our previous report on Uunchai’s limited-screen release, we had quoted an exhibition source, who told us, “The film is expected to release in just 450-475 screens in India. This is quite less for a mid-sized film, featuring an A-lister and made by a blockbuster director.”

The source further informed us, “As per the instructions given to the theatres, the shows of the film should commence only after 11:00 am. Moreover, multiplexes with five or more screens are asked to play only four shows at the maximum. Theatres with less than 5 screens are told that they can have around 2 or 3 shows a day.”

Elaborating on Uunchai’s release strategy, the source added, “the makers are following the old Rajshri model of release. They famously released their biggest blockbuster, Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), in very limited screens in week 1. And as the word spread and demand increased, the number of prints also increased. They are hoping that Uunchai can also go the same way.”

Ayushmann Khurrana created a niche for himself with his social comedies and emerged as a dependable actor. Sadly, his films haven’t worked in the post-pandemic era. But his popularity is intact and there’s hope from his upcoming film, An Action Hero. It’s the first time the versatile actor will be seen doing hardcore action.

There’s another interesting aspect to this film. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Malaika Arora will feature in an item song in An Action Hero. She liked the song and the idea behind it and she agreed. A glimpse of the song and the actress will be seen in the theatrical trailer. She looks sizzling hot as always and the song is sure to enhance the hype for An Action Hero.”

Malaika Arora has appeared in several special numbers over the years like 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dil Se (1998), 'Kaal Dhamaal' in Kaal (2005), 'Hoth Rasiley' in Welcome (2007), the evergreen classic 'Munni Badnaam' in Dabangg (2010), 'Anarkali Disco Chali' in Housefull 2 (2012), etc. She was last seen in the song 'Hello Hello' in Vishal Bhardwaj's film, Pataakha (2018). This means that Malaika Arora’s item song in An Action Hero is her first in more than 4 years. Directed by debutant director Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and releases on December 2.

Janhvi Kapoor is now preparing for her first sports film with Rajkummar Rao Mr & Mrs Mahi. Both actors will play cricketers in the film and are putting their best foot forward for their roles.

In order to perfect her role, Janhvi has been practicing cricket and is rigorously working to stay fit. However, it has come with a price for the actress. She says, “I know that’s going to be another memorable experience. I’ve already dislocated my shoulder twice while playing cricket.” The film is produced by Karan Johar who gave Janhvi her first break in Dhadak. It is directed by Saran Sharma who also directed Janhvi in Gunjan Saxena.

In addition to Mr & Mrs Mahi, Janhvi will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal of which she says, “It is my most precious film. I know I say that every time. But really, this has been an experience so rewarding that when I am alone, I sit and think about it. I’ve never felt like that for any film.”

Shooting with Varun Dhawan for the first time was fun. “It was just such a happy set. We were all working in unison to make this vision come true. It was truly the most rewarding experience.”

While fans across the Southern part of the nation are showering their love with grand gestures, Samantha expresses her thoughts about her first Hindi theatrical release. 

Creating a frenzy across varied parts of the nation, Samantha's fans are gearing up for the big release of the week- Yashoda by showcasing their support with huge poster cut-outs displayed in different cities. From Hyderabad, Rajamundry, Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Nandyal, Vijaywada and Vizag, humongous cut-outs of Samantha in her Yashoda avatar have been displayed to mark her biggest Pan-India release. 

Releasing in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, Yashoda emerges as the widest pan-India theatrical release for a female-centric film in India, which also incidentally is Samantha's first Hindi film. 

Talking about her first, Samantha said, "I am quite nervous, I don't know what to expect but I really happy with the way the trailer has been received by the Hindi audience. I am extremely happy and humbled by the response.

After the success of Samantha's first nationwide appearance with The Family Man, Samantha's stardom rose multifold across the nation. Adding to the frenzy, Samantha's bold and beautiful avatar in 'O Antava' made the actress the biggest pan-India female Superstar as ranked by a survey. Gearing for Yashoda, Samantha has created immense buzz for the film with her power-packed action avatar. 

Directed by Hari and Harish, Yashoda is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies. The ensemble star cast of the action thriller also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukandan, Rao Ramesh, and Murali Sharma, amongst others. With Mani for music, M Sukumar for cinematography and Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor, Yashoda releases in theatres on November 11, 2022.

After the success of The Kashmir Files, fans were eagerly waiting for director Vivek Agnihotri's next. A couple of days ago, Vivek teased his fans by sharing a cryptic poster. Though the poster seemed intriguing, it did not reveal the name of the film. Now, the wait is finally over as the director has announced the title, The Vaccine War.

On Thursday, Vivek Agnihotri took to his social media handle and unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film, The Vaccine War. The poster features a bottle of the vaccine. Interestingly, the sticker on it read, “I am Buddha presents The Vaccine War.” It further read, “A true story”. At the bottom of the poster, the director mentioned its release date, which will be Independence Day 2023.

Captioning the post, the renowned director wrote a short write-up, which read, “ANNOUNCEMENT: / Presenting ‘THE VACCINE WAR’ - an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage & great Indian values. / It will be released on Independence Day, 2023. In 11 languages.” He also urged his fans to “bless” the team.

Interestingly, the forthcoming Vivek Agnihotri directorial will clash with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, slated to release on August 11, 2023. For the unversed, Animal will be a pan-India film. It is said that the film will revolve around a gangster family and is being extensively shot in Mumbai and Delhi.

Animal marks the first collaboration of Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga with Ranbir Kapoor and the latter's first onscreen appearance with Rashmika Mandanna.

The massive fan following of Vijay Deverakonda definitely left everyone surprised when the actor featured in Liger and went on to a city tour for promotions. While we have seen many of his talents, did you know that the actor a lot into music, especially hip hop music. Vijay is the brand ambassador of Breezer Vivid Shuffle and in a recent exclusive interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the South superstar spoke about what music means to him and his love and fondness for hip hop.

Speaking about how he likes to listen to music in his free time, Vijay said, “When I'm not shooting I'm working on for like three hours a day and those three hours I need music to motivate me. It helps me feel good and sometimes you resonate with the philosophy of the song. When I'm in my caravan when I'm at shoot, sometimes I listen to it. Music is beautiful, music is important.” Further speaking about hip hop he added, “It is the genre that I listen to the most. And if you go to my playlists, nine out of 10 songs will be from this genre. It’s the kind of music where you're drawn to a certain width and style of it. You have to listen to it first.”

Recalling how he got his hands on this kind of music, Vijay continued, “I don't remember if I heard it from friends, or I heard it on TV. I know that it happened around the age of 17-18 (years old). Because before that, I was in a boarding school where we didn't have access to the world as much we have now, it was like a very strict religious school. So when I moved back to Hyderabad, from the boarding school, I think I got exposed to hip hop. It was Eminem and Dr. Dre in those days and I just took to their style of music.”

Giving us a glimpse of his Hip Hop playlist, Vijay added, “I enjoy Black Eyed Peas. Eminem, Kanye. Travis Scott. Recently, a lot of Indian artists have been making their way into in to my playlist. The latest song that I'm tripping on a lot is a song called ‘Jalala’. It's on loop.” He also discussed how the influence of hip hop is present everywhere from clothes to dance. He shared, “Hip hop is freeing. You can express yourself in any way. In terms of fashion, before hip hop, you couldn't write stuff on clothes. There was never a culture of expressing yourself through text and graffiti on clothes or a formal shirt or suit. But once hip hop came into the scene, people started expressing their feelings through the clothes, colors, speech and even through bars and drawings. So it's a creative world where they express themselves freely and I'm attracted to it.”

The actor not only loves the music but also expressed his fondness towards the dance form. “I enjoy watching it a lot. I can spend hours watching it. I enjoy doing it also a little bit,” he said.

Speaking about his recent block party that he attended in Hyderabad, Vijay revealed that it was BVS aka Breezer Vivid Shuffle’s one of the first ground events after the pandemic. He said, “The last two years BVs was digital. And this is the first year we went ground. But it was time and I was excited about. And this time we could see everything happening but personally. So it was the first big on ground event because till then we were mostly digital, the last couple of seasons. I loved soaking in the atmosphere of the hip hop festival and seeing all the talent and meeting all the fans.”

Talking about how he loved his association with BVS, Vijay added, “I enjoy it. I'm happy with the Association. And that's why we are in two years three. And I look forward to a lot more. It's easy Association. It's a nice match.” Further elaborating on the campaign, Vijay explained, “We've already shot the majority of the marketing campaign and I had a lot of fun. It's always fun shooting the marketing campaign of Breezer.”

In the concluding statement, Vijay dedicated an important message to hip hop fans saying, “To express yourself confidently and, and put yourself in everything. We can very easily go into a sort of imitation. But I think the guys who stick the guys who you'll find a natural magnetic attraction towards are the ones who are true to everything. There's something very original about them. So be confident and just do original.”

Alia gave birth to a baby girl on November 6 at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The announcement was made on the actress’ official Instagram page.

The Razi actress said, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia,” in the announcement post.
