After taking viewers on a remarkable rollercoaster ride of some never-seen-before stunts, COLORS Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 has finally come to an end as the stunt-based reality show crowned Karan Veer Mehra as the ultimate ‘khiladi’ this season. Amid the whirlwind of adrenaline, Karan Veer Mehra walked away with the trophy, while Krishna Shroff and Gashmeer Mahajani made their mark as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Continuing the action-packed course, the stunt-based reality show put an entirely new spin to holidaying in European paradise, Romania for its 14th edition. Marking the show’s debut in the beautiful country, the battleground of fear flipped the script, turning a dream destination into a scare-cation that kept viewers glued to their screens for nine weeks. From sky-high plunges to underwater ordeals, every mode of transport was explored as a vehicle for fear and contestants came face to face with a bear for the first time.

Excitement is brewing at Abundantia Entertainment as they unveil their latest project, a captivating blend of comedy, drama, and action. The production house, led by Vikram Malhotra, has roped in the duo of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri to headline this highly anticipated film. The project, directed by the acclaimed Suresh Triveni, marks a reunion for the filmmaker and Abundantia after their critically lauded 2022 thriller Jalsa, starring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah.

As per a report in Peeping Moon, while plot details remain tightly under wraps, the film's unique selling point is undoubtedly the pairing of Dixit and Dimri. The casting for the male lead is still underway, adding another layer of intrigue to the project. The report suggests they will portray a mother-daughter duo, navigating a whirlwind of emotions, laughter, and thrilling situations.  The plan is to  take the project on floors by March-April 2025.

This collaboration isn't the first time Dixit and Dimri will share the silver screen. The two actresses are already slated to appear together in Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan's upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, releasing this Diwali.

Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri has amassed an impressive slate of upcoming films including Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video releasing on October 11, followed by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2 later this year. Kalki 2898 AD released earlier this year amid much fanfare as many celebrities couldn’t stop gushing about the Nag Ashwin directorial and its grandeur. Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi had expressed his thoughts on the film too wherein he appreciated a few aspects but also criticized a few. He went on address Prabhas of ‘being used as a joker’ which did not sit well not only with his fans but also with some celebrities from the South Indian film industry.

After receiving much backlash on social media for his comments, Arshad Warsi now has issued a clarification about being misconstrued for his statement. He further insisted that his remarks were only directed to the character Prabhas played and was in no way insulting his acting skills. In fact, appreciating the talent of the Telugu superstar, Arshad told PTI, "Everybody has their own point of view and people like to interpret noise. I spoke about the character, not the person. He is a brilliant actor and he has proved himself again and again, and we know about it. And, when we give a bad character to a good actor, it's heartbreaking for the audience”.

For the unversed, Arshad Warsi had opened up about watching the film during an interaction in Unfiltered by Samdish YouTube channel. The actor had compared the film to a Mad Max-like vibe and expressed his desire to watch someone like Mil Gibson in such roles.  “Meine Kalki 2898 AD, jo mujhe achi nahin lagi (I watched Kalki but I did not like it). Amit Ji (Bachchan) was unbelievable! I cannot believe it.” While talking about Prabhas he said, “I am really sad but, why was he was like a joker? Why? I want to see a Mad Max yaar, I want to see Mel Gibson over there. What have you made it. Why do filmmakers do this, I will never understand,” he had said.

Kalki 2898 AD is expected to be a sci-fi drama inspired by Indian mythology. Apart from Prabhas, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone in key roles along with a host of celebrities in supporting characters. The film released in multiple languages including Hindi in June this year.

For fans of Dil Se, there was a sweet reunion of sorts on the stage of IIFA 2024 that was held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Shah Rukh Khan returned to the awards after a couple of years and seems to have entertained the audience with his usual charm and wit as the host of the ceremony and later, he also bagged the prestigious Best Actor Award this time. The superstar went on to receive the same for his performance in the 2023 action drama Jawan.

The said award was presented by none other than the director Mani Ratnam and music composer A R Rahman both of whom were a part of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dil Se. In a video clip from the award ceremony that has found its way on social media. SRK is not only seen receiving the trophy with humility but he also touched Mani Ratnam’s feet as a mark of respect. Furthermore, the actor gave a heartfelt yet short speech expressing his gratitude towards IIFA and his audience.

For the unversed, Jawan marked the Bollywood debut of filmmaker Atlee and female superstar Nayanthara. The film featured SRK in a dual role along with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist along with a host of celebrities like Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and others playing key roles.

Additionally, Tiger will soon appear in Rohit Shetty’s action-thriller Singham Again. The torrential rains that engulfed Mumbai on Wednesday, September 25, brought the city to a near standstill, disrupting various aspects of life, including film productions. Salman Khan's upcoming action film, Sikandar, under the direction of AR Murugadoss, was one of the projects affected by the inclement weather.

According to a report in Mid-day, the film crew had been diligently working at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon since the end of August, preparing for an elaborate action sequence. However, the heavy rainfall forced a change of plans. The lighting setup required for the scene posed a significant risk of electrical short circuits, prompting the production team to prioritize safety and temporarily halt the shoot.

Salman Khan arrived at the set at 5 pm, prepared for an overnight shoot. A source close to the production revealed, "The shoot was to start at 7 pm, and the crew was on the set by 3 pm. But given the incessant rains, the direction team decided to call off the shoot for the day. The IMD had issued a red alert by then, and there was no way the team could have pulled off a night shoot in that weather."

Despite the setback, the production team remains optimistic about resuming filming on Friday, weather permitting. The source assured, "The two-day delay is not expected to affect the project’s overall schedule." Sikandar, which also features Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj, is being crafted as an action-packed film and is slated for an Eid 2025 release. Filmmaker Karan Johar has been vocal about the exorbitant fees demanded by certain actors in the industry. In a recent interview, he expressed his frustration with stars who ask for astronomical fees without commensurate box office returns. He argued that the industry's economics simply do not support such extravagant demands. Saif Ali Khan responded to Johar's comments in a subsequent interview.

Khan emphasized that the industry operates on a business model where actors' fees are determined by market demand and their perceived value to a film's commercial success. Saif said at India Today Conclave in Mumbai on Thursday, "He wants to cut pay cheques. I think I should have my own union on that. I am sure he is right, but it makes me a little nervous when we hear about cutting pay cheques. No cutting pay cheques. Well look, the economics of our industry (is like that). That's what happens - you go to a star, sometimes they say 'hey, if you want me, that's what it is going to cost'. And people pay it. And if people pay it, then sometimes the economics do get skewed. But Indians are businessmen. So, the film industry is primarily a business kind of financial centre in itself and people take shots. But Karan Johar knows best. I'm just joking."

The actor added, "What he (Karan Johar) is talking about is people charging astronomical money and then not delivering, which can't last. We don't charge that much, we are recession-proof."

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter India recently, Karan Johar said, "What is your last couple of films? How much have you opened to? With what right are you asking me for this number? Every star asked me for the same money that the budget was for. I was like, ‘How can I pay you? When the budget is Rs. 40 crore, you’re asking for Rs. 40 crore? Are you guaranteeing the film will do Rs. 120 crore? There's no guarantee, right?"

Audiences were quite excited to see the return of the romantic comedy De De Pyaar De as the makers have kicked off the shoot of its sequel. Adding to their anticipation, reports announced that R Madhavan, who recently collaborated with Ajay Devgn for the horror film Shaitaan will be reuniting with the actor again for De De Pyaar De 2. In fact, reports even suggested that the makers have already started shooting for the project but the recent update is that the shooting had to be paused due to filmmaker Anshul Sharma.

The shooting of De De Pyaar De 2 kicked off in Patiala, Punjab but it has now been paused because director Anshul Sharma was diagnosed with dengue. The cast and crew had completed around 7-8 days of filming and were expected to continue until mid-October. However, due to the director's illness, the team has returned to Mumbai. A source said, "Once Anshul recovers, the team will plan a Mumbai shoot and resume the Patiala schedule at the earliest based on the actors' availability."

Speaking of the film, De De Pyaar De 2 will take forward the story of Ashish and Ayesha, wherein after receiving best wishes from Ashish’s family, the couple will now take another step in their relationship by meeting Ayesha’s side of the family. Buzz is that R Madhavan will be essaying the role of the suave young father of Ayesha aka Rakul Preet Singh who will not convinced with Ashish as his son-in-law which will lead to a series of several fun events.

With Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh reprising their roles as Ashish and Ayesha, a few other members of the star cast from the prequel are also expected to be a part of this romantic comedy. The film, produced by T-Series and Luv Films, is set for a May 1, 2025 release.

Alia Bhatt is actively promoting her forthcoming film, Jigra, set to release next month. In a recent conversation with Jr NTR, star of Devara: Part 1, and filmmaker Karan Johar, Alia shared that she signed on for Jigra shortly after giving birth to her daughter, Raha Kapoor. She noted that the maternal instinct she experienced at that time resonates with the film, which centers on her character’s quest to save her brother.

In the conversation, Alia talked candidly about when she was offered to participate in Jigra and said, “When I signed Jigra I think I was in my tigress mode. I was in my most protective- like, ‘No one come near her,’ mode. That was the energy. That is why I always say destiny, luck, life has so much to play in things going a certain way. Forget the fate of Jigra, the fact that it came to me also was… wow what is this timing! That I am feeling this way and it came. It had all of those things laced over it.”

Bhumi Pednekar and Pulkit are set to reunite for a new project. The critically acclaimed duo previously collaborated on the Netflix film Bhakshak, a heart-wrenching retelling of the Muzaffarpur Shelter Case. Now, they are joining forces once again, with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment backing the project.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, while the rest of the cast is yet to be announced, the film is currently in its early stages of development. The project marks a dream come true for Pednekar, who has long expressed her admiration for Red Chillies and its founder, Shah Rukh Khan.

During a recent Q&A session, Pednekar revealed her childhood dream of working with the superstar, sharing a heartfelt video on her Instagram story. She said, "Honestly, an actor... The sacred geometry symbols on my body have been painted by @avantika_1988 . The flower of life on my navel, and the symbol of the divine feminine on my chest. Little did I know at the time that I would have a daughter”.

Parvin Dabas has been hospitalized following a car accident in Mumbai. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, leaving the actor with serious injuries. His wife, Preeti Jhangiani, has spoken out about the ordeal, sharing details of the accident and her husband's condition.

"It's been a shock for all of us," Jhangiani revealed to Hindustan Times. "Parvin is usually so full of life, always talking about work. To see him lying there, quiet and inactive, is incredibly distressing."

The accident occurred when Dabas was driving home after a late-night work session. A sudden flash of headlights caused him to lose control of his vehicle, resulting in a collision with a divider. Fortunately, he was close to a hospital, and two passersby rushed to his aid and brought him in.

Dabas is currently being treated for a concussion, which has left him with symptoms such as dizziness, double vision, drowsiness, and nausea. "He hasn't been able to talk much," Jhangiani explained. "Thankfully, his medical tests, including an MRI and CT scan, have come back clear. We expect him to be out of the ICU soon and will continue to monitor his progress."

Jhangiani has confirmed that Dabas was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. "He's always been very strict about driving safely and never drinks and drives," she stated.

The Pro Panja League, an organization co-founded by Dabas, released a statement expressing their concern and support for the actor. It read, “We regret to inform that Parvin Dabas, co-founder of the Pro Panja League, has been hospitalized and is in the ICU at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra following an unfortunate car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning. Details of the incident are still emerging, but we can confirm that Mr. Dabas is currently receiving medical attention. Our thoughts are with Parvin and his family during this challenging time. The highly anticipated third installment of Ajay Devgn's Singham franchise, Singham Again, is set to hit theatres this Diwali. As excitement builds, rumours have been swirling about a potential cameo by Salman Khan, reprising his role of Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series. The anticipation surrounding the upcoming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been steadily growing. While the iconic track ‘Ami Je Tomar’ from the previous installment remains etched in our memories, the makers are treating us to a brand-new romantic number. Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are currently immersed in filming a captivating love song amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Leh. Director Anees Bazmee has commenced this Ladakh shoot this week.

As per a report in Mid-day, composer duo Sachet-Parampara have crafted this enchanting melody, joining the ranks of Pritam, Amaal Mallik, and Tanishk Bagchi who are contributing to the film's diverse musical soundtrack. Dispelling rumours of a recreated version of ‘Labon Ko Labon Pe’, the source confirms that this newly composed song is being brought to life through the choreography of Vijay Ganguly.

The picturesque mountains and serene lakes of Leh provide the perfect backdrop for this romantic ballad. Kartik Aaryan exudes charm in a black vest, leather jacket, and brown trousers, while Triptii Dimri radiates elegance in flowing chiffon sarees. The song's visual aesthetic is reminiscent of the Yash Chopra films, evoking a sense of nostalgia and romance. As the shoot progresses, the director is set to film another song before wrapping up this phase of production.

Speaking to the publication, producer Bhushan Kumar expressed his enthusiasm for shooting in Leh, highlighting the region's pristine beauty and its untapped potential for cinematic storytelling. He emphasized that the location perfectly complements the grandeur of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, offering a visually stunning backdrop for the film. He said, “Leh and Ladakh offer a pristine landscape that hasn’t been explored much for songs in Indian cinema. For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, we wanted a location that would match the grandeur of the film, and these breathtaking locations provide the perfect backdrop.”

The recent announcement of the fourth film in the Race franchise has got fans excited. What added on to the anticipation is the return of Saif Ali Khan to the franchise. The actor was the main lead in the first two films but was replaced by Salman Khan in Race 3.

The writer of Race 4, Shiraz Ahmed, who also penned the first three films of the franchise, shared details about the fourth film in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama. “Race 4 will go on floors in January (2025),” he said. “The script is almost completed and so is the casting. Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s casting is already out in the media. The rest of the cast will be revealed by the producers Tips Films at the right time in a proper announcement.”

Ahmed also revealed the story pattern for Race 4. “For Race 4, we have continued the story and characters from Race 1 and 2. We have gone back to the same world of the first two films,” he said.

Race 3 did earn money at the box office, but the film faced its share of criticisms. Reflecting on this, Ahmed said, “In Race 3, we shifted a bit from the Race franchise in terms of characters. If you remove the title ‘Race’ from the film, you will enjoy it. People went to see Race, but they got to see something else. We had Salman Khan in the film. So, you need to keep certain things in mind. He doesn’t play negative roles. Mainly, his fans would never like to see him in a negative role. So certain boundaries came about. Still, we tried to do whatever we could.”

Produced by Tips Films, the first two films in the Race franchise were directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan. The third film was helmed by Remo D’Souza. The director for Race 4 is not finalized yet.
