Restaurateur Timmy Narang has confirmed his divorce from actress Isha Koppikar. For weeks, rumours about their separation were rife. However, Narang has now confirmed that not only is the divorce final, but the actress has also moved out of their house with their daughter.

In a statement to ETimes, Timmy Narang said that they were contemplating divorce for one and half years before taking the decision. He said, “The divorce was granted in November last year, and it was on amicable terms. Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact. So, I don’t see why there should be any confusion regarding that. While I haven’t read the latest report, considering the legal option isn’t even an option because the divorce has already come through, it’s as simple as that.”

The source was earlier quoted saying, “The couple parted ways due to compatibility issues, which cropped up a while ago. They tried every bit to save the marriage but didn’t succeed. Isha has moved out of the house and is living separately with their daughter.”

Isha Koppikar married hotelier Timmy Narang in November 2009. They have now parted ways after 14 years of marriage.

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is kicking off 2024 with Rohit Shetty’s first web series Indian Police Force. The actor also makes his streaming debut with this upcoming series. However, Sidharth Malhotra is already in talks for two projects with the production house Junglee Pictures. These projects are reportedly being directed by Meghna Gulzar and Drishyam’s Jeethu Joseph.

According to a report in Peeping Moon, a source revealed, “Sidharth and Junglee Pictures have been talking about collaborating for the past few months and are mainly discussing two movies — one directed by Meghna Gulzar and the other by Jeethu Joseph, acclaimed for his blockbuster Malayalam movie franchise, Drishyam. Sid, however, hasn’t signed them yet, as it’s still in the conversation stage. Depending on how the talks go, he might decide to do one of them or ultimately agree to both.”

Like always, Meghna Gulzar’s project is based on a true story. Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph’s project is about a “valiant, sharp, and quick-witted law enforcement officer who embarks on a journey to fight for truth and bring justice in a high-stakes case at the international level.” Both projects are eyeing the 2024 production stage.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra has Yodha as his next theatrical release. It is set for an April 2024 release. While this was Janhvi's third time on the show, The Archies debutante made her first appearance. As they spoke about their lives and careers, they also recalled the time when they heard about their mother Sridevi's death.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, is poised to tie the knot today with her longtime partner, Nupur Shikhare. The couple, who got engaged last year, shared a delightful series of pre-wedding photos, radiating love and excitement. As the much-anticipated day unfolds, the duo's affectionate snapshots echo the anticipation and happiness surrounding their union.

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is all set to venture into digital streaming and will be making his OTT debut with Sony LIV’s upcoming family drama series, Badaa Naam Karenge. The streaming platform has announced its robust 2024 line-up and the filmmaker’s project is set for Diwali 2024 release.

The upcoming debut series, though casting details remain undisclosed, is set to grace screens during the festive season. While the makers are tight-lipped about the ensemble, the confirmed promise of a family drama series has heightened anticipation.

Meanwhile, Sooraj Barjatya will next helm a project starring Maine Pyar Kiya actor Salman Khan. Many reports suggested that it was supposed to be announced on his 58th birthday last month. However, it wasn’t announced. Speaking to the news outlet India Today last year, Sooraj said, “I am starting with Salman mid-next year because when I make a film, I become selfish. Today, at this stage of my life as a director, I have become selfish. I write the film myself and when I write myself, then I take my own time. With Salman especially, since we are doing something together after a long time, it has to be something special, especially after all these years. Kicking off the New Year on a big note, designer Manish Malhotra has announced his third production Ul Jalool Ishq under his banner Stage5 Productions. The announcement was made on January 2, 2024. Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sharib Hashmi, the film will be directed by Vibhu Puri with Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar’s involvement in the project. The shooting for the film commences on January 9.

Manish took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share a few photos of the cast and wrote, “Bewakoofiyan, Nadan galtiyan, badi bhool hai ishq; Sach Poochiye toh mere huzoor ul jalool hai ishq! I am so happy to announce Stage5 Production's third film production. A beautiful film, Ul Jalool Ishq, written and directed by Vibhu Puri, starts shooting on January 9 with this supremely talented cast: Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sharib Hashmi. It is an honour to work with Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj, produced by Dinesh Malhotra.”

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone recently watched Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper's Maestro and has been mesmerised by the actor's performance. The film has gotten rave reviews last year and already has Oscar buzz.

Actress Ankita Lokhande, a contestant on Bigg Boss 17, has touched a chord with viewers once again as she openly discussed her emotional journey following the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput. In a recent episode, she shared a poignant recollection of his death with fellow contestant Munawar Faruqui, leaving many viewers moved by her vulnerability. 

Lokhande spoke candidly about the immediate aftermath of his demise in June 2020. Describing a particularly impactful image she received, she revealed, "When I saw him, I felt everything was over. There was this one picture of him which was very bad... It looked like he was sleeping. I just kept looking at that picture and thought there was so much in his brain."

Expressing her anguish at the loss of Rajput's potential, she added, "I knew him very well. He must have had so much in his brain but all was vanished. You are nothing, you're just a body then." While remaining discreet about the specifics surrounding Rajput's death, Lokhande acknowledged his struggle, stating, "Tut gaya voh kisi chiz se. Nahi hona chahiye tha (He was broken because of something. This shouldn't have happened)."

The conversation also touched on the online harassment Lokhande faced in the wake of Rajput's death. "But maine na bohot logo ko uss time pe block kiya. Kyuki mujhe itna ganda bola jaata tha, mei nahi le sakti thi. Maine block kar diya. (But I blocked many people that time because there were bad things told to me which I couldn't take it)," she confided.

For the unversed, Lokhande rose to fame alongside Rajput in the popular television series Pavitra Rishta. The duo fell in love on the sets of the ZEE TV show. However, they ended their relationship after seven years of dating. Now, Ankita is married to Vicky Jain, who is also participating in the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Bollywood's renowned filmmaker, Karan Johar, has thrown his weight behind the controversial yet successful film, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In a bold statement at the Mega Pan India Roundtable 2023, Johar declared the Ranbir Kapoor starrer the "best film of the year" and a "game-changer" for Indian cinema.

Johar, seated right next to Vanga during the roundtable, elaborated on his admiration for the film's unconventional narrative. Animal is a stark contrast to Johar's own recent romantic comedy, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He said, “People have come up to me after I spoke about how much I loved Animal, and said, 'You have made Rocky Aur Rani,' That's the vaccination for a film like Animal. It's the opposite extreme. I said that I cannot disagree with you more, because Animal to me is the best film of the year.”

“It took me a while to reach to this statement and a lot of courage because when you are around people, you fear judgement. Like during the time of Kabir Singh, which I also loved... I was like I am going to say this and I am going to get dirty looks from certain people but I don't care anymore,” KJo added further. 

Explaining his take, the 51-year-old producer-director said, “I loved Animal for its front-footed, absolutely conviction-based narrative storytelling, breaking grammar, breaking myths, breaking everything that you think conforms to mainstream cinema. Suddenly you have an interval block where the hero is getting bashed up and everyone's singing a song... I am like, 'Where have you seen a sequence like this?' It's genius.”

Speaking of the climax, Karan asserted, “The end, where the two men are going for each other and they play that song... I had tears in my eyes, but there was only blood. So I was like something is wrong with me or something is wrong with him, but something put together is very right about this film.

Heaping praises on Vanga, Karan said, “This is not an average thinking mind. This is the mind of someone who is so distinct, so individualistic that I was blown away. I saw the film twice, first as an audience member and second to study it. I think the success and acceptance of Animal is game-changing. The conviction is something that I want to have.” 

Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor in a dark and intense role, has already crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office. Despite its controversial themes, the film has garnered critical acclaim for its raw portrayal of human emotions and its captivating storytelling.

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has not only attained success at the box office but it has also become one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies ever. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the movie has achieved this despite being 3 hours 23 minutes long and, more importantly, getting an Adults only certificate from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). Released exactly a month ago on December 1, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri.

When a film attains such a stupendous success, it is obvious for the makers to celebrate. Hence, as per information received by Bollywood Hungama, the team of Animal will be throwing a success bash in Mumbai on Saturday January 6. We have also come to know that the party is going to be a grand one at the posh Jio World Convention Centre at BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex).

As expected, along with the cast and team Animal, some big names from the film world are expected to attend the celebration.

Animal is a story about a son, played by Ranbir, and his deep love for his father (Anil Kapoor). The film is produced under the banners of T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Pictures.

Koffee With Karan season 8 is kicking of the year 2024 with sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor in its forthcoming episodes. While this will be Janhvi’s third appearance on the show, The Archies debutante Khushi Kapoor will be making her debut on the celebrity talk show. And the promo for the upcoming episode is out.

In the promo, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor talk about being confident about their episode. Karan asks Khushi about the conjecture of her dating The Archies actor Vedang Raina. To which, Khushi responds, “You know the scene in Om Shanti Om where the people are saying, ‘Om and I are just good friends!’” leaving both Karan and Janhvi in laughter.

Karan then talks about Janhvi Kapoor's mimicing skills where the actress shows how her uncle Anil Kapoor behaves. In a fun segment, Karan asks Khushi about the boys she has dated. To which she responds, “I have only dated three and we are sticking to that” as she points finger at her younger sister.

When asked about the three people on her speed dial list, she mentions her father Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor and her alleged boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya.

Karan Johar has been successful in taking his home production house Dharma Productions to newer heights ever since he had to take on the responsibility following his father and well-known producer Yash Johar’s death in 2004. The filmmaker has now given a major credit for Dharma’s success to their banner’s CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Apoorva Mehta in an emotional post on Instagram.

By sharing his picture with Apoorva, Karan said that he came to his rescue to serve the banner despite being settled in the UK with his family. “When my father passed away in 2004… he left a void that perhaps can never be filled … on an emotional impulse I called my best friend @apoorva1972 who was based in the UK and very settled with his wife Bijal… I said “I need you … I have no family to help me build my father’s dream … Dharma productions” without even a pause he said “I will be there” and just like that overnight Bijal and him changed their settled life to walk into an unknown territory and as we enter 2024 I want to take this moment to express my deepest love and gratitude to both of them for being emotional and professional pillars to me in my most trying and challenging times!”

Adding how proud Yash Johar would have been, Karan ended the note saying, “Thank you Aps! My father would have been so proud of us … just knowing that we could keep it together and do our best to build his dream….love you and thank you! Rajkumar Hirani returned to the direction scene with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. The filmmaker recently talked about the film in detail, and why he cast Vicky Kaushal in a special role.  

In a recent conversation with NDTV, Rajkumar Hirani said, “As we were chatting, the topic of casting came up. When he asked about the ideal boy for the role of Sukhi, I mentioned, ‘A boy like Vicky would be perfect’. However, I made it clear that I wouldn’t offer him the role because it’s a small role. Now he’s doing lead roles, so I wouldn’t offer it to him. Sham (Vicky’s father and action director Sham Kaushal) didn’t say anything.”

“That night, I got a call from Vicky, and he said, ‘How could you tell dad that you can’t offer the role to me?’ He met me the very next day, and it was kind of him to take on that role. It also showed what a good actor can do with a role like that, and Vicky made the biggest difference to the film,” he added.

Befor Dunki, Vicky Kaushal was a part of Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor.

A strong crowd of more than 2000 people had a great time attending the show 'Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon'. Presented by Saregama, it featured Javed Akhtar narrating never-before-heard stories behind some of the classic songs he wrote. This was followed by Meiyang Chang and Jahnvi Shrimankar singing those songs. At the very beginning of the show, the legendary songwriter brought the house as he revealed the funny episode of writing the evergreen song 'Tumko Dekha Toh Yeh Khayal Aaya' from Saath Saath (1982).

Javed Akhtar started writing lyrics after Yash Chopra coaxed him to do so for his film Silsila (1981). He said, “A film takes a lot of time to be made. When it releases after 1 ½ years, tab log bolte hai ‘Bahut acche dialogue likhe hai aapne’. Matlab dedh saal lag jaata hai taarif sunne mein! With song lyrics, you write the song, it’ll be recorded in 2 days and the same evening, you’ll get to hear praises! Hence, I started to enjoy writing lyrics. Yeh aasaan bhi hai aur isme taareef zyada hai!”

He then said how he came on board for Saath Saath saying, “Yash Chopra’s fourth assistant, Raman Kumar, a very talented man, approached me. He told me that he is making a small film and doesn’t have a huge budget. He told me ‘Main aapse free mein likhwana chahta hoon’!”

Javed Akhtar, in his trademark style, quipped, “Now, there could be two reasons why I wrote the songs for free. One is that I am kind-hearted and I felt that gareeb ki madat karna mera kartavya hai. The other reason could be that I was enjoying songwriting. Which reason you feel is correct, uspe aap tick mark kar dijiye!”

He continued, “You might be a very good person but when you do work for free, you take time! Those days, I used to drink extensively, that too every night. I had to deliver just one song. Raman used to come home every night and tell me, ‘Sir, woh ek gaana reh gaya tha’. I would reply, ‘Haan, bilkul’. Because of me, his liver also got affected!”

Javed Akhtar added, “Every night, I would tell him, ‘Kal tumhara gaana likhte hai’. The scenario would repeat every night. He had to catch a train. Hence, he used to check his watch (to ensure he doesn’t miss the last local train).”

The Padma Bhushan awardee continued to raise laughs as he stated, “One night, he told me, ‘Aaj toh der ho gayi. Kal pakka likh dena aap’. I was 8-9 pegs down and aise mein, confidence bada aa jaata hai! I told him ‘Abhi kar dete hai’. I asked him for pen and paper. He was checking his watch, to catch the train. Hence, I know how much time I took to write the song.”

Javed Akhtar amazed the crowd as he revealed, “Yeh gaana sirf 9 minute mein likha tha. That song ('Tumko Dekha Toh Yeh Khayal Aaya') became a hit and continues to be popular even today.” As expected, the audience couldn’t stop clapping.

Saath Saath starred Farooq Shaikh and Deepti Naval. Incidentally, it was edited by none other than David Dhawan.

Kareena Kapoor Khan forayed into digital space earlier this year with Jaane Jaan, helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. While she had a great year in terms of her work, she is ending the year with a Forbes India cover. In the conversation, the actress heaped praises on Rani Mukerji and Tabu and the kind of work they are doing!

Praising Rani Mukerji, Kareena called her one of the most talented actresses in the Indian film industry. She said, “Rani is absolutely cinematic in every which way. Whatever role she plays, she just transforms on the screen. You cannot take your eyes off her.”

She further added that Tabu is one of the finest actors the industry has ever seen. “For them, no one thinks of age. They're entertaining the audience. We're here to entertain. How does age matter?” asked Kareena.

She added, “All these actors are doing better than even, sorry, but even the younger lot. We're all raring to go. Age is just a number now and it shouldn’t even be discussed. Y’all are not asking these things to the older crop of actors so why are we (women) being asked?”

In 2003, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani released his iconic comedy film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. Starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, the characters of Munna and Circuit became iconic. This was followed by the 2006 sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai which also featured Vidya Balan. However, there has been no update on Munna Bhai 3, which fans eagerly are waiting for.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Rajkumar Hirani said, “Munna Bhai ke sath humesha mera struggle yehi raha hai ki pichli do films itni achi ban gayi hai ki mere paas 5 aadhi likhi scripts abhi tak padi huyi hai (The struggle with this film is that the first two films were so well made and I have five half-written scripts. I feel that if I don’t reach the level of those two films, I won’t be able to make the third one. I have one story that can be made but some stories get outdated so only time will tell.)”

“Meri aksar baat hoti rehti hai Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) se. Woh kehta hai ki ek banani chahiye. Abhi yeh Dunki khatam huyi hai toh ab main kholunga pitara purani kahaniyon ka. Speaking about his work commitments, Anil Kapoor is gearing up for the first release of 2024, Fighter, which will see him play the role of a Air Force Captain alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. It is slated for release on January 25.

Prithviraj Sukumaran rocked the show with his performance of Varda in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. His bonding with Prabhas was one of the strengths of the film and the dashing, talented actor spoke about the film’s success and a lot more in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.

How has been the feedback for Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire? You must be flooded with messages and DMs! (Smiles). I am. I am elated with how Salaar has been received. It’s heartening that the film has resonated equally well with people all over the country. That’s what our intention was. Full credit goes to Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel, Prabhas and the whole team. I have had the privilege of enjoying lots of successes and failures in cinema. But this feels special because I am getting calls and messages from people from different industries. Each one of them spoke to me as if they had seen a film from their own industry!

Salaar must have been your biggest release in terms of reach… Indeed. It was also the biggest release in terms of scale and as you said, how widely it was distributed and the magnitude of the release. It’s a dream for any artist for their work to be showcased and celebrated in such a fashion. I hope this is the beginning of a lot of new good things to come.

How are the team of Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel Prabhas reacting? Are they happy with the feedback? Oh yes. I have worked very closely with Hombale Films. I am also directing a film for them. And yes, Prabhas and others are very happy with the reaction. Prashanth is the kind of guy who is unaware of what the film has done! Even during KGF, he pretty much behaved the same way. But I am sure he’s also very happy. To see all our hard work and efforts bore fruit is truly gratifying.

Did you get a chance to see Salaar in theatres? I am in Kerala right now. It’s not easy for me to go and watch the film in theatres here.

I request you to come to Mumbai and experience the madness in Gaiety-Galaxy. Maybe, you can do so for Salaar’s sequel… I agree. Salaar is a film that you have to watch with a big crowd. I’d love to do that. Going by how things are and assuming that Salaar is going to run with packed houses for a few weeks more, I am hoping I get a chance to see the film in a sold-out show.

Your character Varda doesn’t do any action for most part of the film, leaving many to assume that he’ll not beat up baddies. But in the climax, he goes all out. Was it intentional to keep the best for the last? Prashanth had this deliberate design in mind to keep giving hints about how deep the bond between Varda and Deva is. So finally when they join hands, you know how deadly a force they can be collectively. Let’s just say that the climax portion of Salaar is just a hint of what is going to come in part 2.

At times, scenes are written well on paper but they don’t translate the same way on celluloid. But the ‘Yaa Yaa’ scene went to another level on celluloid. Also, the way you kept your eyes shut added to the effect… When Prashanth narrates the film to you, he also tells you his vision. Prashanth had a clear vision for that fight sequence. Like I am closing my eyes while everyone else opens when Deva walks ahead. It’s like, ‘Everyone else will want to see what is going to happen. You (Varda) are the only ones who knows what is going to happen and is thinking, I don’t want to see it’. He got this aspect so well in his writing and execution. Plus, he’s also a spectacular technician. He has this amazing sense of style which he neatly incorporates into the drama. Prashanth’s imagination is boundless.

On a lighter note, it is often joked that Prashanth Neel doesn’t like lights as the visual tone of the film is quite dark. Your thoughts? (Laughs) Som Prashant doesn’t like too many colours and prefers monochrome, high contrast and shadows. I understand that a lot of people are saying that ‘Salaar looks a lot similar to KGF’ in terms of styling and cinematography. But I know for a fact that Prashanth always wanted a particular look in Salaar. And Salaar was written before KGF. He preferred the black dust and the texture on the clothes to create a world where probably the most colourful thing is the blood! He always had that in his mind. Nevertheless, the styling, the colour tone, the cinematography, the contrast ratio and the play between shadow and light contribute a lot to what the visuals of Khansaar make you feel. The styling is very much part of the writing. Hats off to Prashanth for imagining how the world would look like. It’s entirely fictional and created in his mind. It’s akin to J R R Tolkien creating the whole world of The Lord Of The Rings. He imagined what the place would be, what the politics of the place would be, how that place is ruled, the hierarchy, dynamics between players etc. A whole lot of effort has gone into conceiving the world. Part of that effort is also the style and the feel; like how do you feel when you look at the screen and see Khansaar? Prashanth, more than anyone else, would have known that comparisons are bound to happen. He still chose to go with this styling for Salaar.

Which was the most difficult scene for you? The entire climax action sequence was challenging. We were shooting in December when Hyderabad can get quite cold during the night. You have to wear a woollen jacket. And Prabhas and I were drenched in blood. The fake blood, which we use in films, feels very cold. At 1 or 2 am, Prabhas and I would sit in front of the fire. And it was not just for one night. The shoot took place for many nights. Now that you have seen the film, you know that the people whom we fight against have to behave in a particular way for some reason. They couldn’t be very exact with their movements. They had to act like they were completely out of control. That made it quite challenging.

Did you get the chance to see Dunki? I have neither watched Dunki nor Salaar! I have been shooting continuously. I am really looking forward to watching both movies. I am a big fan of Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan sir. I am very happy that both the films are doing well.

After a whirlwind wedding in 1991 with Amrita Singh right at the start of his career, Saif Ali Khan gained much prominence in the industry. The recent episode of the Karan Johar hosted show featured Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan debuting on the couch where they discussed their personal and professional life, during which the mother-son duo opened up about Khan’s divorce. Saif revealed that his mother was the first one he spoke to when he was considering this separation. “With the separation, I just like to say, that the first person I spoke to before the separation was my mother. She took a deep breath, there was a pause on the phone, and said, ‘I am with you if that’s what you want’ and that helped a lot,” said Saif.

Sharmila Tagore went on to speak about how the entire divorce and separation affected her and her cricketer-husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi aka Tiger. “When you are together for such a long time and you have such lovely children, then no break up is easy. Then it is not a harmonious… I know it is difficult to have harmony at that stage, everybody is hurt… so that stage was not nice but I tried. But that’s water under the bridge, she needed time to cool down and they worked it out together.”

She added, “It’s not just staying away, there are so many other things that are involved. It wasn’t a happy time for us because Ibrahim was just three and we were very fond of the children. Especially, Tiger was really fond of Ibrahim and he would say, ‘That’s a good lad.’ He didn’t get that time with him. So we felt doubly deprived to lose Amrita and lose the two kids. So it’s just not him but we also had to adjust to all that,”

Currently, Saif Ali Khan not only spends time with Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, but the duo are also share a great rapport with Saif’s second wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh.

During the same, the filmmaker expressed his deep regret as he missed out on an opportunity to work with Sharmila Tagore in his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

For the unversed, Sharmila Tagore was approached first for the role essayed by Shabana Azmi in the romantic drama. Speaking about the same, Karan Johar said on the show, "I had offered Sharmila ji the part played by Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She was my very first choice. Due to health reasons at that time, she couldn't say yes but it is a regret I have." Responding to the same, Sharmila revealed that her family and loved ones had asked her to not do it due to the pandemic as they were concerned on how the same will impact her health since Tagore is a cancer survivor. "This is at the height of Covid. They hadn't really grappled with Covid at that time. They didn't know the vaccine... We were not vaccinated. You know, after my cancer. So, they didn't want me to take that risk," replied the yesteryear diva.

Readers may be aware that Shabana Azmi essayed the role of Rani aka Alia Bhatt’s grandmother in the film, who falls in love with the sweet Kanwal Lund Randhawa played by Dharmendra. The film also stars Ranveer Singh along with an ensemble cast and received a lot of love at the box office.

Salman Khan rang in his 58th birthday in Mumbai with a special bash at midnight on December 27 at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma's residence. The celebration held added significance as it coincided with the birthday of Arpita’s daughter, Ayat. The joint celebrations saw the presence of several celebrities including actor Bobby Deol, who always speaks highly of Khan after his career renaissance.

Actor Ajay Devgn will be back on the sets of Singham Again, helmed by Rohit Shetty, from January 2024 onwards. The film went on floors a few months ago. Led by Ajay, he will resume the new schedule in Hyderabad in the third week of January 2024. The actor was recovering from an injury and had taken a break from the shoot. The upcoming schedule will go on for over a month.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, a source said, “On the day Ajay Devgn was hit on his eyes, he went to the doctor and quickly returned to the set to finish his work for the day as he believes in the philosophy of ‘Show Must Go On. Post that, Rohit continued to shoot for the film as planned with other artists and the crew at Golden Tobacco in Andheri. He recently called it a wrap on the Mumbai schedule and is now gearing up for the next marathon schedule of Singham Again at Ramoji Film City.”

“All the members forming part of the principal cast will be joining the next schedule at some point of time, and Ajay Devgn will be constantly shooting for the film over a period of next 30 days,” the source added.

Singham Again stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. It also has special appearances of Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. The makers plan to release the movie during the Independence Day 2024 weekend. In a surprise turn of events, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with make-up artist Sshura Khan in an intimate ceremony on December 24, 2023. The nikaah took place at their family residence in Mumbai in the presence of their family members and close friends from the industry.

Arbaaz Khan on Monday shared inside photos from the nikaah ceremony. He was seated beside his newlywed wife Sshura Khan, son Arhaan Khan, parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, older brother Salman Khan and sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri. He captioned the post, “It’s you. It's me. It's us.”

In the series of photos, the entire Khan family was seen including Sohail Khan and his kids, Atul Agnihotri and kids, Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma and their kids, veteran actress Helen and Sshura Khan's family.

Arbaaz was dressed in peach and beige floral bandhgala with beige trousers for the ceremony. The bride Sshura was dressed in a shimmery blouse and floral peach lehenga. The diva's makeup, which included glossy lips, a dewy base, kohl-rimmed eyes, black eyeshadow, and a black manicure, was a true work of art. She wore her hair loose in curls.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Ganpath alongside Tiger Shroff. She will now star in Rajesh Krishnan’s upcoming comedy-drama The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu. Kriti also has Do Patti and an untitled film with Shahid Kapoor in pipeline.
