SONAM KAPOOR
Nobody can match Sonam Kapoor's personality and flair since she is a true diva. She frequently astounds us with her show-stopping attire. Sonam donned a gorgeous ice blue kaftan dress by prominent international designer Taller Marmo to a weekend event. She chose a light and cosy dress with a free-flowing design and turtle neck details. The fact that the kaftan had fringes at the edges stood out, though. She wore strong red lips and defined eyes to complement the ensemble. She also wore white heels with strappy tops. She had her hair up in a sloppy bun with a centre part. Along with it, Sonam was toting a gorgeous handbag.

KATRINA KAIF
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif recently travelled to Jodhpur, a well-known Indian vacation spot, to attend a wedding. The actress dressed in a refined colour scheme with just a tinge of sparkle for the occasion. Of course, she chose Manish Malhotra as her go-to designer since he met all of her requirements. Manish Malhotra's icy blue calcite chiffon saree, which was bordered with matching pastel pink glitter and adorned with sequin grids, was worn by Katrina. It was exquisitely designed and looked stunning with Manish Malhotra's iconic velvet Taban blouse, which had a plunging neckline, a cutaway strap back, and beaded accents all over. handcrafted Russian emerald polki earrings by Manish Malhotra jewellery were one among Katrina's accessories. The outfit's soft colour scheme was chosen with care, and the addition of cuffs and earrings made sure that the accessory issue stayed under control. While maintaining her rosy toned, luminous, and beautiful as ever makeup, Katrina's flowing locks were done in easy waves.

MISSES

RASHMIKA MANDANNA

Rashmika has always had a bookmark-worthy casual aesthetic, and this time she enhanced it with a black and white striped midi dress with a turtleneck style. With a fuchsia overcoat, she gave this plain silhouette a splash of colour. This time, the outfit was a failure since Rashmika's quirky appearance was ruined by the lengthy, striped dress and long coat. Additionally, her accoutrements lacked aesthetic appeal.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar plays Vicky Kaushal’s hottie wife in Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Naam Mera. The young actress, who has become a force to reckon with in Indian cinema with stellar performances in every film that she has done so far, has been getting praises for her acting in the film, and especially for the mike-drop moments due to her hilarious dialogues!

Govinda Naam Mera star Bhumi Pednekar opens up on her role; says, “Delivered some of the most cracking dialogues that I have seen on screen in recent times”

Bhumi is thrilled that the makers have empowered her character to deliver the punchlines on screen because it changes the status quo in the industry because a man used to always mouth the best dialogues in a genre like romantic comedy!

Bhumi says, “I honestly have loved delivering the punches in the film and I have to admit that I have been given some of the most hilarious punchlines by Shashank! What I love the most about my dialoguebaazi in Govinda Naam Mera is that they are from the heroine’s side and that’s refreshing for a romantic comedy in the Hindi film industry because traditionally only heroes used to get all the great dialogues in a genre like this and make people laugh.”

She adds, “I’m glad that my producer Karan Johar and my director Shashank Khaitan thought of subverting the norm and empowering a girl to deliver some of the most cracking dialogues that I have seen on screen in recent times. Gauri Waghmare is literally one of most favourite characters that I have played on screen.”

About her character, Bhumi further adds, “She is an equal to a man and constantly reminds a man that her gender doesn’t make her inferior and that she is the master of her own actions and decisions. I hope I can entertain everyone with this role and audiences laugh their hearts out when they see the film.”

Also starring Kiara Advani and produced by Dharma Productions, Govinda Naam Mera will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 16.

Korean pop, or K-pop, is a term that refers to more than only music. It is a culture that distinguishes itself via its ability to incorporate many musical and dance styles. K-pop stars are renowned for fusing luxury with streetwear and dressing in ways that are influenced by several decades, whether they are on stage or the red carpet. The artists have the capacity to bring all genres of music, art, and dance together under one roof while also bringing some of the best-dressed celebrities on the world stage. Winter is here, and now is the time to discuss winter fashion trends that have taken over the fall-winter fashion in music videos and on-stages in 2022. As we are all aware, the style from Korea is becoming more and more popular throughout the world. The beauty of Korean fashion resides precisely in individualism and the freedom to express oneself via style, making it difficult to distil it into a singular aesthetic. But K-pop celebrities usually appear to be careful to follow the latest fashion trends.

If you don't have classic faux fur pieces in your collection, you can't call yourself a fashionista. Faux fur makes a highly opulent and striking statement, and designers and celebrities all over the world have taken advantage of this to their advantage. We truly enjoy how the stars are wearing with faux fur at glossy events, casual street walks, or on the red carpet. Faux fur is an animal-friendly, less expensive alternative to genuine fur that will boost your style statements. In the shape of faux fur hats, K-pop stars are adopting faux fur trends.

Yeji, who is always immaculately dressed, adopted the faux fur style hat for the concept photo for their latest album CHESHIRE. She opted for a leopard-print faux fur bucket hat and looked adorable as always. She added a number of finger rings and earrings to complete her ensemble. Her appearance was further accentuated by her adorable fringes and natural makeup.

Vicky Kaushal confesses about taking advice from his wife Katrina Kaif on his dancing skills

It is a known fact that Katrina Kaif is a fabulous dancer who has given us chartbusters like ‘Chikni Chameli’, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, ‘Mashaallah’ among others. Talking about how he often respects her opinion, Vicky Kaushal told Indian Express.com in an interview, “Of course, whenever I would rehearse, I’d go back home and show her the video of the rehearsal. She doesn’t say, ‘yeh acchha hai, yeh buraa hai (this is good, this is bad)'. She’s a spectacular dancer and has a lot of knowledge about dancing in cinema so she has very specific feedback to give.”

He continued, “She knows how it comes across on camera, what to do and not to do. So, I’d take a lot of guidance from her and she’d actually help me a lot. Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is easily the film that stands out from Sharman Joshi’s career. But the film that became his claim-to-fame was N Chandra’s Style in 2001. This is what he revealed in an exclusive video chat with Bollywood Hungama. “People started knowing me as Bantu (his character name in Style). They didn’t know me by name though,” he said.

But he achieved actual fame only after he did his first and only Hirani movie. “They started knowing me by my name only after 3 Idiots,” said Sharman proudly. Sharing an interesting anecdote, the actor said he still remembers the shoot of Style when he and his co-star Sahil Khan had dressed up as women. “The first day I dressed up (as a woman) and walked onto the sets and started delivering my lines, Chandra ji was laughing like anything.”

Sharman added that this actually was an appreciation of his performance. “He (N Chandra) was absolutely delighted by the way I was playing it out,” he recalled. “Of course, he had seen me during rehearsals but then he saw me in the whole costume. Everyone was loving it. And Sahil and me were wondering since we had done that daily during the rehearsals and not many people were praising it then.”

Weeks before Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya hit the theatres, a handful of theories of its crossover with Stree started trending on the internet. While the ending of the film and the makers have confirmed the crossover, star Abhishek Banerjee, who has played significant characters in both films, spoke his mind on the crossover.

EXCLUSIVE: Abhishek Banerjee spills the beans about the Stree-Bhediya crossover; talks about Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Vampire

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Abhishek shed some light on the crossover and what the audience can expect. Meanwhile, he also discussed the third instalment of Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy Vampire, which will star multi-talented actor Ayushmann Khurrana. When asked to talk about the crossover, Abhishek said, “The crossover would be a little bit exciting for me I have not resisted. That's going to happen that connection is going to happen definitely. At the end of Bhediya, Vicky and Bittu come to take Jana.

Elaborating further on the matter, he added, “Something is happening in Chandery that needs Jana’s help. I'm looking forward to helping my friends and reuniting with them.”

When asked if he will be a part of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Vampire, he asserted, “I don't know whether it's going to work out or not because I'm already part of two and I don't know if my character can jump to the third as well. I don't know how they're (Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik) looking at it even if it was character heavy it's really difficult to say right now but I will still check the dimensions and if they have a role for me.

As the conversation progressed further, he also opened up about sharing the screen space with established actors and if it gives any pressure on him. He explained, “I'm a trained actor. I don't think any trained actor will have that insecurity. If tomorrow, I start thinking to grab attention, it will never come. If I'm honest with my art, then I'm pretty sure that that honesty will reflect on the audience, and they will appreciate it. So, I never take that pressure.”

South Korean juggernaut RM released his first official solo album Indigo today. The official music video of the lead single “Wild Flower (with youjeen)” is also available on YouTube. Indigo is a record of his 20s and a candid introduction of who RM truly is. Each track portrays RM’s outspoken opinions, prevailing thoughts, reminiscence of the past and instant feelings.

INDIGO: BTS' RM desires to live like tranquil 'Wild Flower' in an enigmatic music video in collaboration with youjeen

The title ‘indigo’ comes from the name of the natural hue that represents RM’s taste for natural things. Indigo also acts as an indication of the change in his thoughts, taste and tendency since his last mixtape mono. which was visualized in black and white. The colour of ‘indigo’ is also visualized in the album’s cover art showing RM in denim look along with a painting called ‘Blue’ by late Korean painter Yun Hyong Keun, whom he admires most.

Indigo transcends boundaries; it is a collection of collaborations with musicians in various genres, and a collaboration of music and art. RM led the overall album making from writing the songs and lyrics, developing the concept of the album, and designing album art to developing the music video.

The ten tracks include: lead single “Wild Flower” (with youjeen), “Yun” (with Erykah Badu), “Still Life” (with Anderson .Paak), “All Day” (with Tablo), “Forg_tful” (with Kim Sawol), “Closer” (with Paul Blanco, Mahalia), “Change pt.2,” “Lonely,” “Hectic (with Colde) and “No.2” (with parkjiyoon).

The lead single “Wild Flower” (with youjeen) conveys RM’s desire to live like humble and tranquil wildflowers rather than a flamboyant flame that quickly vanishes. South Korean rock group Cherry Filter’s vocalist youjeen came on board as a featured artist. RM’s composed rap and youjeen’s powerful vocal maximize the energy of the rock sound of the song.

Starting with fireworks from the above view, the music video takes the viewers through the flaming sun, turbulent darkness, and a field with flying petals, and then finally shows RM on stage with a full audience. One of the visual motifs, Nakhwa Nori, is a traditional folk game that involves hanging bags of oak charcoal powder in between lotus lanterns and lighting them on fire to watch the flames scatter down onto the water. The music video is highlighted by a compelling scene of flames from Nakhwa Nori falling down towards the ground, amplifying the message of the song.

RM’s discography includes solo mixtapes, RM (Mar 2015) and mono. (Oct 2018), which proved his outstanding musical capability regardless of genre. RM is also known as an art enthusiast and shows his unparalleled ability in writing profound lyrics often inspired by diverse works of art. Based on his flexible and philosophical thinking, RM has worked with various artists including Lil Nas X, Fall Out Boy, Wale, and HONNE.

In exactly 55 days, fans will be all set to welcome Shah Rukh Khan back to the silver screens again. Though he never left, his hiatus has been for five years now. The actor now is gearing up for the upcoming action entertainer Pathaan which is a part of Yash Raj Films’ 50th anniversary. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the actor recently said that no one was approaching him for action films before Pathaan came along.

Shah Rukh Khan says nobody would consider him for action movies before Pathaan: ‘Want to do Mission Impossible-ish kind of films’

Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday attended the Red Sea Festival in Saudi Arabia for the special screening of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The actor spoke to Deadline about Pathaan and why he wants to do action movies. “I’ve never done an action film, I’ve done really sweet love stories, I’ve done some social dramas, I’ve done some bad guys, but nobody was taking me for action," he explained. "I’m 57 years old, and I thought for the next years I have to do action films, I want to do Mission Impossible-ish kind of films. I want to do over-the-top kind of action films."

Shah Rukh Khan went on to explain that India is evolving massively in terms of technology. "I think we've gone ahead leaps and bounds so I want to use all that knowledge," Khan added.

Back in June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan had revealed why he wanted to do Pathaan. “When we started shooting Pathaan, it was a lot of fun. It is an action film with wonderful co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Ashutosh Rana among others,” he explained, “It is the kind of film I wanted to do for 30 years. I always thought of myself as somebody who can do some cool action stuff. So, I think my impression about Pathaan is that what I really wanted to do when I first came to Mumbai, hopefully I have achieved that in Pathaan as an actor.”

He admitted that he wanted to be an action hero in his 20s but is enjoying the process in his 50s too. “I enjoyed it. It is fun having to do action. It is a little late (referring to his age). At the age of 56, I am being macho and solid, trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team has put in a lot of hard work. Hopefully, it will work,” he smiled.

“I remember Siddharth narrating a lot of films to me. Unfortunately, we could not find the right time to collaborate for years. He had this title called Pathaan with him. And he would tell me that, ‘Sir, maine film ready kar li hai.’ One fine day, when we could not work on the two scripts he narrated, he sent me a sweet message, which read, ‘I have this title. I have not been able to get a film with you. Now, please take the title and make a film whenever you want,'” Shah Rukh Khan said revealing that Siddharth Anand came back to him with a new script. “The film has had a long journey. And soon, you all will be able to see it,” he said.

Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu!
