In exactly over two months, superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes his much-awaited after five years. The actor, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, will take on the role of a spy in the upcoming action entertainer. It is part of Yash Raj Films’ 50^th anniversary. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the makers have kept every announcement under wraps, surprising people with it and thus, breaking the internet with Shah Rukh Khan’s look back in June 2022. As the actor turns 57 today, Pathaan makers have unveiled the first teaser of the upcoming film giving a glimpse into the world of the upcoming spy actioner.

Back in June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a live session on his Instagram account after completing 30 years in the film industry. While speaking to the fans, he said, “When we started shooting Pathaan, it was a lot of fun. It is an action film with wonderful co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Ashutosh Rana among others. It is the kind of film I wanted to do for 30 years. I always thought of myself as somebody who can do some cool action stuff. So, I think my impression about Pathaan is what I really wanted to do when I first came to Mumbai, hopefully, I have achieved that in Pathaan as an actor.”

He admitted that he wanted to be an action hero in his 20s but is enjoying the process at 56 too. “I enjoyed it. It is fun having to do action. It is a little late (referring to his age). At the age of 56, I am being macho and solid, trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team have put in a lot of hard work. Hopefully, it will work,” he smiled.

Readers would be aware that Janhvi Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film Mili, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen. The actress will be seen in a new avatar in this survival drama. As the actress is busy with the extensive promotions of the same, she has also been attending press conferences and media interactions as part of the process. During one such interaction, the actress came across a journalist who continued to persistently question her opinion regarding her late mother Sridevi, who was India’s first female superstar. A Reddit page titled BollyBlindsNGossip shared a video of Janhvi Kapoor from one of the recent press conferences she attended where she was asked about a biopic on Sridevi. One of the journalists quizzed her if she would like to do a biopic on Sridevi if one was ever made. The actress curtly responded with a ‘No’. Janhvi Kapoor will be essaying the role of a waiter who works for a food chain but gets trapped in a cold storage freezer for over 48 hours in Mili. The film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the film is expected to hit the big screens on November 4.

Readers would be aware that Salman Khan received death threats followed by the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly. The actor, even got a weapon license under the need for self-protection. Now, recent reports have it that the security for Salman Khan has been increased. Along with him, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher will also be given extra security.

Readers would be aware that Salman Khan received death threats, allegedly, from the Bishnoi gang, after the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. Akshay Kumar has been given added security owing to the increasing number of social media death threats because of his nationality. On the other hand, Anupam Kher too has been given security because of the film The Kashmir Files that talks about the sensitive situation of Kashmiri Pandits in the controversial state. As per a Mid-Day report, Salman Khan will be given Y+ security which means he will have four armed security personnel aka commandos at all times. The actor has been given intense security because his father Salim Khan received death threats via a note that was placed on a public place when he was jogging in the city.

Following the recent tragic events in Itaewon, multiple South Korean celebrities are canceling and postponing their scheduled promotional activities for the next few days.

Halloween celebrations turned deadly in South Korea’s Itaewon. It was reported that a crowd crush led to the death of 154 people, of whom 26 were foreign nationals and 132 were injured as per updates on Sunday, according to Korea Herald. An estimate of 100,000 people was expected to be in attendance on Saturday night in Itaewon.

In the narrow alley, around 10:40 pm, the crowd began to surge leaving people stuck there for over one and a half hours. This led to suffocation in the tight space. Videos and photos went viral on social media in which people and first responders were giving CPR on the spot to people who were unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. Maximum fatalities were those of people in their 20s.

In light of the tragic events, BTS' Jin’s debut appearance on SBS’ reality show Running Man, which was scheduled for October 30, has now been cancelled. SBS announced the cancelation of his episode by issuing an official statement and asked for fans’ understanding.

Yong Jun Hyung's EP titled Loner, whose virtual tracks and physical album were both scheduled to be released on Sunday and Monday respectively, have now been delayed. Moreover, newly released films Remember and Confession canceled the appearance of cast members and directors at theaters to greet audiences.

A year ago, Dutt set up his production company - Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd which will bankroll feature films and other content. Now, one hears that along with producer Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment, the star is steering his company into the first venture. The duo has come together for their next titled The वरGIN Tree. The film is a horror comedy with an ensemble which includes Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan and also the launch vehicle for debutant Nikunj Lotia, known as Be YouNick. It is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and written by Vanuksh Arora & Sidhaant Sachdev.

Pop titans BTS are unstoppable. When in June 2022 the group announced they are taking a break from group music, they also mentioned that the focus would be to release solo work and collaborations. In the last couple of months, several collaborations have been released from the members. Following J-Hope’s Jack In The Box album and Jin’s single ‘The Astronaut’ with Coldplay, the group’s leader RM will drop his solo album on November 25.

If the reports are to be believed, the member is currently gearing up for his solo work which he teased on his Instagram story a few days ago. In response to the report, a source from BIGHIT MUSIC said in a statement, “RM will be releasing a solo album, and he is currently in preparations.”

RM has previously mixtapes titled RM and Mono. He recently did a song collaboration with Balming Tiger on ‘Sexy Nukim’

Meanwhile, BTS members have all released collaborations in recent times. J-Hope became the first member to drop his solo album in July 2022 with Jack In The Box with two lead tracks ‘MORE’ and ‘ARSON’. He released his collaboration ‘Rush Hour’ with rapper Crush on September 22.

On the other hand, V released his OST ‘Christmas Tree’ for the Korean drama Our Beloved Summer. He was also featured on Benny Blanco’s track ‘Bad Decisions’ along with Jin, Jimin and Jungkook. Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth on the track ‘Left and Right’; SUGA collaborated with PSY on ‘That That’ whereas Jimin released an OST ‘With You’ with Ha Sung Woon for K-drama Our Blues.

It was recently announced that BTS will fulfil their mandatory military conscription and opt for full-time service. Jin will be the first one to enlist followed by other members after their solo work releases. They will resume activities as a group in 2025.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures' collaboration, Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani is slated to release in 2023. The team already wrapped up the Mumbai schedule in early October. Last week, they headed to Gujarat for the Ahmedabad schedule and kicked off the shoot in real locations.

As per several leaked photos, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan were seen riding a bike. The actor was dressed in a blue kurta whereas the actress wore a light blue salwar kameez.

In another set of photos, Kartik was surrounded by the crew of the film. He was donning an orange-yellow printed shirt. He was joined by Gajraj Rao on the location. Fans have been mobbing the set to catch a glimpse of the actors. The Ahmedabad schedule will go on for 15-20 days. The city plays an important part in the narrative of the story. They plan to shoot at as many real locations as possible.

Satyaprem Ki Katha will mark Kartik Aaryan & Kiara Advani's reunion after their last venture Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film, which released in May earlier this year, was a blockbuster.

Satya Prem Ki Katha also marks a collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Satyaprem Ki Katha will be releasing in theatres on June 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next star in Freddy which is seeing a direct-to-digital release. The announcement was made on October 27 that the film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Alaya F opposite Kartik Aaryan. It marks his second digital release after Dhamaka.  He also has Kabir Khan's next which was announced a couple of months ago and Captain India.

On the other hand, Kiara Advani has Ram Charan's next RC 15 with Shankar. She was last seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. She is reportedly also gearing up to reunite with Shershaah co-star Sidharth Malhotra.

Netflix on Tuesday announced the release date of its upcoming psychological drama, Qala will premiere on 1st December 2022. Set in the late 1930s and early 1940s, Qala is the story of an eponymous young playback singer. The film is about Qala’s tragic past and the ways in which it catches up with her, causing her to unravel at the peak of her hard-won success. But the beginning and end of her spiral is her relationship with her mother. The pathology of her upbringing and the neurosis it leads to. Witness the emotional journey of Qala who navigates professional successes while battling personal demons.

Director Anvitaa Dutt shares, “Qala is a story about mothers and daughters. And how a troubled upbringing can damage someone and have far-reaching consequences. Anvitaa Dutt’s directorial return to Netflix stars Triptii Dimri, Babil Khan, Swastika Mukherjee, Amit Sial, Neer Raao, Avinash Raj Sharma and Ashish Singh in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karnesh Ssharma under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz.

A few days after breaking the internet with his shirtless photo, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is again grabbing the attention of his fans. For the unversed, Khurrana shared a photo on Friday, in which he was seen shirtless. In the caption, he dropped a hint about his “return”, and it seems he is finally returning to a set for the shooting of his next project, titled An Action Hero.

On Sunday late at night, Ayush took to his official social media handle and shared a photo, which features a camera focusing on him. He looked dapper in an all-black avatar. Interestingly, he is facing a camera trolley in the shot. Giving the context of the photo to his 16.8M followers on Instagram, he wrote, “Wait for it. Just wait for it. / Lights. Camera. Action!”. He also hashtagged “December” and “Action”. To conclude his write-up, he added, “Saari raat main laayiyaan”.

Coming to his work front, the 31-year-old actor is gearing up for his multiple upcoming releases. As mentioned above, he is currently shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha, co-starring Kiara Advani. The duo flew to Ahmedabad to shoot a schedule. Directed by Sameer Sanjay Vidwans, the upcoming film is jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures.

On the other hand, Kartik will soon grace the OTT screens as his film Freddy is all set to release. Though the makers have not announced the date yet, the film will directly stream on Disney+ Hotstar.

In the wake of the tragedy in Itaewon in South Korea on Saturday which left hundreds of people dead, Netflix has decided to postpone their upcoming Korean drama The Fabulous starring Minho from popular K-pop group SHINee and actress Chae Soo Bin. The press conference was to take place this week followed by the premiere on November 4, 2022.

Swoon Netflix account on Monday shared an official statement on Instagram and wrote, “As national mourning is taking place due to the tragic accident in Korea, we have decided to postpone the press conference and the release of <The Fabulous>.”

For the unversed, Halloween celebrations turned deadly in South Korea’s Itaewon. It was reported that a crowd crush led to the death of 154 people, of whom 26 were foreign nationals and 132 were injured as per updates on Sunday, according to Korea Herald. An estimate of 100,000 people was expected to be in attendance on Saturday night in Itaewon, a district in central Seoul. In the narrow alley, around 10:40 pm, the crowd began to surge leaving people stuck there for over one and a half hours. This led to suffocation in the tight space. Videos and photos went viral on social media in which people and first responders were giving CPR on the spot to people who were unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. The majority of the fatalities were people in their 20s.

Coming back to The Fabulous, the upcoming series follows four best friends as they chase their dreams alongside fashion’s elite while juggling demanding jobs, romantic dilemmas and wild nights on the town. In the series, Minho plays Ji Woo Min, a freelance photo editor established in his profession and known for his attractive appearance. However, he struggles with finding passion for his work. Things change when he encounters Pyo Ji Eun (played by Chae Soo Bin), a PR manager for luxury brands, and the two find themselves in a blossoming romance. The first look photos were unveiled in September.

Meanwhile, Chae Soo Bin was most recently seen in Disney+ series Rookie Cops. The series marked the debut of singer Kang Daniel as the lead actor.  She is currently seen in a variety show Young Actors’ Retreat. On the other hand, Choi Minho was last seen in Lovestruck In The City and Yumi’s Cells season 1.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is returning to India after three years. Following the pandemic and the lockdown, the actress couldn’t travel to her home country. She has been in her Los Angeles home for the past couple of years where she lives with her husband Nick Jonas. Earlier this year, they welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Malti Marie Chopra, through surrogacy due to which she waited for a couple of months to be back in India. After celebrating Diwali last week in LA, she is all set to be back in Mumbai. This will be the first time she will be in the city with her child.

Sharing the photo of her boarding pass, Priyanka wrote, “Finally…going home. After almost 3 years.”

Priyanka Chopra was expected to come to India in April. The actress, in an interview with Travel+Leisure magazine, had said, “My brain has been taking vacations every night, but I am dying to go back to India. Every state in India has its own written and spoken language, which means different alphabets, clothing, attire, foods, and holidays. So it's like going to a new country every time you cross the border in India. Every time I go back home, I make sure I take time to do a bit of a holiday and travel.”

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and It's All Coming Back To Me with Celine Dion. She will be seen in Russo Brothers’ Prime Video series Citadel, alongside Richard Madden. She also has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. Post the release of the Vishnuvardhan directorial Shershaah, the lead pair Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani made headlines for their chemistry both on-screen and off it too. In fact, with the audience taking an immense liking to the film, filmmakers made a beeline to sign the two on for new ventures. One such venture was the quirky film tentatively titled Adal Badal, which revolved around the concept of soul transfers. In fact, both Sid and Kiara had read the concept note and were pretty kicked to start the project. However, now we hear that the said film has run into trouble.

As per a source close to the developments, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that the project has now been put on the back burner. Revealing details, the source informed Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were very keen on doing the film. In fact, the quirky premise of Adal Badal intrigued them both, and they even gave the makers a green light to go ahead with the development of a script for the venture. Unfortunately, even before the venture could take off it seems to have been grounded with no takers for the film.” Further talking about why Adal Badal has been put on the back burner for now, the source continues, “No one in the industry is ready to bankroll the venture. It isn’t because of the lead pair, but instead, it is due to the rather unconventional storyline. Despite its quirkiness and novelty, in the current state, the industry is in, nobody wants to take a gamble and risk big monies on an untested formula.”

With no investors ready to take a gamble on producing the venture, it seems like the venture will eventually be dropped. Interestingly though, for fans who have been wanting to see the two together on screen again, the buzz is that Sid and Kiara will soon move onto the Dharma Productions venture that will topline them in the cast. In fact, reports claim that the two are contemplating starting work on this untitled venture rather soon.

As for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, both actors have an impressive lineup ahead. While Sidharth has Yodha and Mission Majnu, Kiara has Govinda Naam Mera, RC15, and the Kartik Aaryan starrer Satyaprem Ki Katha.

In the wake of the tragedy in Itaewon in South Korea on Saturday, the popular entertainment agency SM Entertainment, which houses K-pop groups like NCT, Red Velvet, aespa, Super Junior, EXO, SHINee among others, has cancelled their annual Halloween celebrations. For the unversed, Itaewon, one of the popular destinations in South Korea, witnessed thousands of people during Halloween celebrations which led to one of the most horrific incidents.

In a statement on late Saturday night following the tragic incident of crowd surge in Itaewon, SM Entertainment released a statement which read, “We are informing you that the live broadcast of the “SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2022” red carpet, which was scheduled to be streamed live for free today for KWANGYA CLUB ACE members on the global platform Beyond LIVE for approximately one hour starting from 6:15 p.m., has been cancelled. Because the “SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2022” event itself has been cancelled, there will be no livestream of the red carpet either. We ask for fans’ understanding.”

President Yoon Suk Yeol has officially announced the mourning period from October 30 – November 4 amid the Itaewon case. As per a report in Korea Herald, atleast 151 people died and more than 82 were injured in a “crowd crush in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, central Seoul, according to fire authorities at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The fire department began to receive reports of patients having difficulty breathing at 10:22 p.m. on Saturday.”

It was reported that most fatalities were people in their 20s amongst whom 19 were foreigners who were dead. Videos and photos went viral on social media where people were providing CPR to several people who went into cardiac arrest due to crowd-crushing in Itaewon which is a central party spot. The report states, “A total of 848 personnel, including 364 firefighters, were mobilized to deal with the accident and 142 ambulances were deployed.”

After becoming a blockbuster in cinemas, Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles is set to arrive on Disney+ Hotstar The digital premiere of Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva will be available to the viewers in their preferred language from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Releasing on November 4, 2022, on the platform, the magnum opus is produced by Star Studios & Dharma Productions, and directed and written by Ayan Mukerji.

The film saw special appearances by the biggest names including Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia. Expressing gratitude to them, Ayan spoke to ANI and said, “Brahmastra was an ambitious project from the start. And I felt that each of these characters represented something very unique. In a way, they represent little worlds in the larger world of Brahmastra. And that required certain gravitas and weight. Which led us to approach some of the best actors and talent in the country. We were very lucky that everyone accepted and supported this ambition. I am truly grateful to them for all their support. And for saying yes…”

Sharing how the characters are deep-rooted in India’s rich culture and are representative of it, Ayan Mukherji said, “Brahmastra is a grand celebration of our rich and unique Indian culture. Our film is inspired by our history, our vast heritage, and the stories we all have grown up with. It was important to me that Brahmastra ends up being a film every Indian can be proud of.”

Elaborating on how the film marks a new phase of Indian Cinema, he said, “Brahmāstra is the first film of our own original new universe. An entertaining, larger-than-life story based on our rich, grand culture, told with cutting-edge technology. It is a cinematic experience that I am very excited to bring into people’s homes so that families can watch it again or for the first time.”

“I am looking forward to all the reactions that are going to come our way from audiences who are revisiting the film, or are getting introduced to this world for the first time,” he added.

This never seen before visual spectacle is headlined by some of the finest actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, among others in a universe which is loved and praised by everyone.

In one of the latest developments, Henry Cavill is saying goodbye to the beloved character Geralt Of Rivia in The Witcher season 4. Ahead of the season 3 arrival next year, Cavill took to Instagram on Saturday to inform his fans that he will officially be ‘laying down my medallion and my swords’ and departing the fantasy series, on Netflix. Season 4 will see Liam Hemsworth take on the role of monster-hunter Geralt of Rivia instead.

“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures," Cavill wrote in his post. "In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”

He continued, "Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him. Enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find."

Hemsworth took to Instagram and paid tribute to Cavill, “As a Witcher fan, I'm over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia," he wrote. "Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honoured that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure.”

Henry Cavill’s announcement comes in less than weeks since he made a cameo as Superman in DC’s Black Adam. He then announced that he is putting the cape back on and is ready for the next movie.

Netflix has seemingly greenlit seasons 4 and 5 of the series which will be reportedly shot back-to-back. While it is unclear when the production will begin, the seasons are currently in the writing stage.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai's iconic song 'Choli Ke Pecche Kya Hai' from Khalnayak made its way to the White House, submerging the United States' presidential residence in Indian music! 'Choli Ke Peeche' is still the heart of every celebration and mesmerises people.

Poorna Jagannathan, who is seen in Mindy Kaling's show Never Have I Ever, was one of the attendees. She shared a clip of people dancing on the tunes of the song at the White House Diwali Party this year. The filmmaker tweeted about it mentioning, "Happy to see CHOLI KE PEECHHE song being played at White House Washington n Poorna Jagannathan dancing there. Reminiscing the making he shared how 'Choli Ke Peeche' was actually picked from popular folk songs from Eastern India, he said, "We had never imagined that the song would receive social and political backlash. 1 crore cassettes were sold just within a week of its release, this led to envy from the industry and the song was labelled to be vulgar and faced criticism. When the movie was released, a leading newspaper mentioned that the song is beautifully depicted and is one of the iconic scenes of Indian cinema. When I myself went to see the audience's reaction, they were purely awestruck. It was also picked up by many dancing workshops in schools. It became an iconic song for many people, including celebrities. One can realise the efforts went into composing the song and the negativity we dealt with when a section of people reacted to the song, but today the same people are in admiration. That's the beauty of art we live in. Sometimes you might feel that you have done wrong but with time it turns out to be a classic. I feel blessed that this song has become so iconic that it's being played globally including the White House in Washington DC wherein Poorna can be seen enjoying it."
