Jennifer Mistry aka Mrs. Roshan took Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma fans by shock when she accused the producers of the Sony SAB show of mental and sexual harassment. Followed by that, another popular actor of the show, Mandar Chandwadkar, who essays the character of Mr. Bhide, denied these allegations and accused Mistry of lying. An upset actress recently revealed that she is disappointed in her best friend as he even attempted to convince her to not take action against the producers.

In an interview with ETimes, Jennifer Mistry said, “I know the production team will not speak in my favour, they will obviously support the production house. But my best friend from the show, Mandar Chandwadkar, I am disappointed with him. I've shared birthday posts for him every year on social media. He has been a close friend and I am surprised that he's saying that I don't know why Jennifer is saying all this and Taarak set is not male chauvinist. Firstly, he himself is a male, so he will never admit it. He knows every single thing that I am saying and he knows it is right. He knows point-to-point what all is happening in our life, especially mine. Sonalika Joshi, Ambika Rajankar and Mandar we are close friends. He knows each and every word of mine.”

She further went on to recall how he was the first person to call her when she sent the complaint draft to the producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. “When I sent a draft of the complaint to Sohil Ramani on his WhatsApp on April 4, Mandar was the first person to call me. He called me 6 times till the next morning and sent me messages. He told me I got to know from Sohil that you are planning to file a sexual harassment case against them, why are you doing this? I asked him to stay out of it. I told him if you can't stand for me or speak the truth, stay out of it. If you can't stand with me then don't lie. I am ready to fight and stand alone. I told him categorically that don't stop me from what I am doing. He asked me to think about the show and I told him that my best wishes are with the show. I told him I am because of the show and I'm grateful for it. Gratitude is on one side and fact is on another,” she added.

She also maintained that she wouldn’t have taken his name had he not accused her of lying. “I had no interest or intention to take Mandar's name. He spoke against me and that's why I'm taking his name. Mandar has called me every five days to ask what's happening. Then why were you calling in the past few months? You knew all the developments and you never denied them. I told him during the conversation that you are aware of what happened in Singapore with me. Aren't you? He heard everything on the phone and in affirmation. Then why was he hearing the conversation? Why didn't he say then Jennifer you are lying? My other two colleagues also knew about the situation, but I don't want to take their names," she concluded.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is truly going global. After being announced as the ambassador for Gucci, the actress attended the Gucci Cruise 24 show in Seoul on Tuesday amidst much fanfare. The show unfolded at Gyeongbokgung where stars from around the world including some of the biggest Korean stars graced the grand event.

The front row was filled with celebrities including Dakota Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Saoirse Ronan, NewJeans’ Hanni, IU, Lee Jung Jae among others. US Ambassador Eric Garcetti, who is currently in India, recently met Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his residence Mannat in Mumbai. Eric was seen on Tuesday having a discussion with SRK, Gauri Khan. As per his tweet, they went on to talk about the film industry and the impact of both Bollywood and Hollywood across the world.

The US Ambassador tweeted the photos and wrote, “Is it time for my Bollywood debut? On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan. The film’s collections crossed Rs. 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. It released in theatres on January 25, 2023. The film starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, and it was directed by Siddharth Anand. He will also be seen in Atlee's Jawan in September 7, 2023. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Rohit Shetty cop universe is the second biggest IP of Indian Cinema at this point of time after the YRF Spy Universe. The filmmaker has got some of the biggest names of Hindi Film Industry in his Cop Universe. The cop universe started back in the day with Singham played by Ajay Devgn, followed by Simmba with Ranveer Singh and finally, Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi.

During the promotions of Cirkus, Rohit Shetty confirmed that Deepika Padukone will be the newest cop in his universe. And now, we have learnt that Rohit is planning to introduce URI actor, Vicky Kaushal as well as a cop. "Vicky Kaushal and Rohit Shetty are in talks for Singham Again for a while now and Rohit is chalking out a proper character for Vicky in Singham Again. His cop will be very different from Ranveer, who is an over-the-top character. Rohit wants to explore the heroic and macho side of Vicky in his cop universe," a trade source told Bollywood Hungama.

Vicky and Rohit have been discussing a film for the last 3 years, much before pandemic, and it seems that the collaboration will finally happen this year with Singham Again. "Rohit is working on the script to carve a track for Vicky and is happy with the way things are moving ahead. An official paperwork shall happen once the script is locked. But Rohit is excited to work with an actor in a different space," the trade source told us further.

With this, Singham Again becomes the biggest ensemble film as the extended cast would comprise Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Actors Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth are all set to welcome their first child. The couple hosted their baby shower on Tuesday and it was an intimate ceremony with family and close friends in attendance. Ishita's older sister Tanushree Dutta and the couple's close friend Kajol were also in attendance.

Cancer Patients Aid Association has decided to organize a special concert on World No Tobacco Day, which falls on May 31. As per recent update, the association is planning a charity fundraising event with popular singer and musician Sunidhi Chauhan and a press conference has been held to announce the upcoming Sunidhi LIVE.

The press conference will be attended by the popular Singer Sunidhi Chauhan herself along with the key members of the association. Ms Anita Peter, Executive Director, Cancer patients aid association, who will be present at the event, will be making the announcement of Sunidhi Live, amidst the presence of dignitary members as well as a few cancer patients. The fundraising concert aims at raising funds to support cancer patients on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day.

Talking about Sunidhi Chauhan, the singer has performed at some of the most prestigious venues across the world. Sunidhi started her career in the 90s and has sung for the biggest Bollywood blockbusters as well as worked with some of the most renowned music composers in Indian cinema. She gained massive fame for her voice in the movie Mast (1999) and went on to sing songs like ‘Mehboob Mere’ (Fiza), ‘Bumbro’ (Mission Kashmir), ‘Aa Tayar Hoja’ (Asoka), ‘Bhaage Re Mann’ (Chameli), ‘Aisa Jadoo’ (Khakee), ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ (Tees Maar Khan), ‘Beedi Jalaile’ (Omkara) among others along with winning two Filmfare and two IIFA awards among other achievements.

Anurag Kashyap’s most expensive flop ever Bombay Velvet was released on May 15, 2015. It was a costly experiment inspired by James Ellroy’s L.A Quartet featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar (playing the arch villain) that proved disastrous for all concerned.

Looking back at the experience Anurag says he should have Bombay Velvet the way his colleague Vikramaditya Motwane has made the OTT series Jubilee. “I saw Jubilee recently and seeing what Motwane has pulled off, I realised what I should have done in Bombay Velvet. Instead of being overwhelmed by the budget that I was given for the film, had I looked at as an ambitious Rs. 300 crore film that I was to make in Rs. 90 crores, I would have flourished.” Kashyap feels with a much more controlled budget he would have been in control of the venture. “It would have been a low-budget product at that cost and I would have been on the edge and would have made a multiple times stronger film.”

Comparing his Bombay Velvet to Motwane’s Jubilee Anurag Kashyap zeroes in on the quality lacking in his film. “It lacked the ambition it should have had. This is what I realised after seeing Motwane pull of ten hours of Jubilee at a lesser cost, keeping in mind the inflation.

Bombay Velvet featured Karan Johar as the Parsi antagonist media baron Kaizad Khambatta.

Anurag stands by Karan’s casting. “Karan Johar, I still maintain was a good choice. He didn’t let me down, I let him down.”

Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha release date has been the talk of the town over the last few months. The film was earlier supposed to hit the big screen in November 2022, and then got postponed to July 7 release. However, due to VFX issues, there was yet another delay as the makers announced September 15 as the new date.

And now, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that Yodha will no longer release on its already announced date of September 15. "Shah Rukh Khan has announced Jawan for a September 7 release and arriving a week after a Shah Rukh Khan film in today's market is like playing with fire. Jawan is expected to be a box office tornado and will eat into the business of every film releasing around. So Karan Johar and other stakeholders of Yodha have decided to delay the film's release," a trade source told Bollywood Hungama.

The new release date will be decided soon, as the makers are considering several date options in October, November, and even December 1. "Exact date for Yodha will be locked in the next 2 weeks leading to its official announcement. The makers will now zero down on a date that best suits the arrival of Yodha for our audience," the trade source added.

Yodha is produced by Karan Johar and stars Sidharth Malhotra with Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna.

Shah Rukh Khan was the surprise guest at the launch of Gauri Khan’s book, ‘My Life In Design’. He also stole the show as he shared interesting anecdotes. His introduction speech was touching and even his closing statements left a lasting impression.

Towards the end of the event, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Before we walked in, she said, ‘Listen, I don’t want to be riding on the fact that I have done this big restaurant or this big house. So we’ll talk about stuff we have done internally’. This takes a lot of hard work that she puts into making sure her clients are happy. A living space or an office space is very personal. People have choices. I just like the fact that when she makes a house or a home or an office, it seems very lived-in. It doesn’t just seem sanitized or clean. There’s some warmth to it. It seems like a place where she would have liked to spend time. I have seen some of the places she designed. The kids visit these places and are like, ‘Mumma has designed this place’ or ‘Mumma’s style’.”

Shah Rukh continued, “In our family, we all do work very hard and very professionally. It’s a culture we follow in our family. But somewhere down the line, when it comes to homes and houses, it’s double the responsibility. It’s not just a film that you make and hope everybody likes. A house has to be lived in by the families there and loved to death. So it’s double the responsibility. I see her working at 3 or 4 in the morning.”

SRK signed off by saying, “Putting the four walls and ceiling is the easy part. Making it liveable and lovable is what a designer should do, that too according to the choice of the client and not just your will and fancy.”

Shah Rukh Khan was the surprise guest at the launch of his wife Gauri Khan’s book, ‘My Life In Design’. The opening speech given by Shah Rukh was loved by one and all.

Shah Rukh began by saying, “I should have had no choice but to come here. My wife is launching her book. I have to be here. But there are reasons that are more pertinent than just the book and that she is designing houses, hotels, restaurants etc. Except for the rooms in my house, she is designing everything else around the world (smiles). But still, I am a forgiving person.”

Shah Rukh Khan continued, “The book does contain a few things that I’d like to mention. I and Gauri have known each other since she was 14 and I was 18. Sometimes, when you know each other for many, many years, a sense of appreciation for each other’s work starts diminishing because you take it for granted. I have been doing what I have been doing for a long time and Gauri has played her part in the best way possible. We raised three beautiful children. She’s the wife of a movie star who became extremely popular because of the grace of God and people like Suhel (pointing at Suhel Seth, sitting in the audience)!”

SRK said, “But there was a passion that she always had. There’s a mediocre sense of creativity in our whole family, including our little 10-year-old. We do dabble with paints and music a little. Gauri was also a part of that journey. She has always been creative about things, how she would do up her space or work on her paintings. For about 23 or 24 years of our married life, we were just so busy settling down in Mumbai and getting used to the overwhelming response we got from the profession that I am in, and just to deal with it and live a normal life and raise our children that she didn’t realize that there was an aspect of her which needed to vent out. This book stands for all that. To all the youngsters and those who miss out on a dream of their life and to be creative, you can start at any age.”

Shah Rukh Khan said, “Gauri started in the mid-40s” He was interrupted by Gauri who said, “No, (I started) at the age of 40.” The audience laughed while SRK felt embarrassed. In his trademark funny style, he joked, “Gauri is 37 now! In our family, we age backwards!”

On a serious note, he continued, “At 40, she started doing this. At that time, I asked her, ‘Should I be helpful? I have some friends. We can talk to them’. She declined. She started with a 10x20 feet shop in Lower Parel. She worked it all out on her own. She is the busiest person in the house now (smiles), compared to me, my son, my daughter and my little one and my sister. We ask her, ‘What do you keep doing all day? Why do you do so much work?’. She says, ‘Because it satisfies me’. This book stands for that. You follow your dreams and do what satisfies you. The material end of it is not so important.”

SRK revealed, “We all have to have dinner together in our home. We have no choice in that. At that time, we discuss, ‘How was your day at work?’. At the end of the dinner, the discussion is, ‘It was a satisfying day’. She believes that a satisfying day is a happy day.”

In the end, Shah Rukh Khan stated, “The book can inspire people who feel that their dreams have passed them by. They can try at any age, without any formal education; she could not get (formal education) as she got married very early but still made something come out of it.”

Shah Rukh signed off by saying, “Thank you Gauri for giving us this mantra of success. I am extremely happy and satisfied that I am here when she’s launching her book!”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma recently opted for motorcycles as an option to reach their shoot locations amid Mumbai traffic. Hours after Big B shared pictures of himself riding a bike with a stranger, Anushka Sharma was also seen sitting on the pillion seat.

Following the photos of the two stars went viral on social media, netizens pointed out that the two of them weren’t wearing helmets and reached out to Mumbai Police. Gauri Khan launched her coffee table book ‘My Life In Design’ at a high-profile event in a five-star hotel in Mumbai on May 15. The guests present at the launch were in for a surprise when Gauri’s husband, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, also accompanied Gauri at the book launch.

Shah Rukh Khan went down memory lane as he explained how Gauri became the designer of their iconic bungalow, Mannat, as they didn’t have money to hire a designer. Shah Rukh said, “When we got the house we live in now, it was way beyond our means. Being from Delhi, one was used to living in bungalows. One did not realize that Mumbai has its own system where apartments are even more expensive. We were not used to it, not because I was very well off but it was just that everybody in Delhi seemed to have a bungalow.”

Shah Rukh Khan continued, “We used to live in the house next to Taj (the hotel where the book launch took place). It was my director’s (Aziz Mirza) house. He lent it to us and he allowed us to stay there as long as we wanted to. We did not have a lot of money. So, as soon as we mustered up some money, we decided to buy this bungalow. It was way beyond our means. But we managed to buy it, which was one thing. We had to rebuild it because it was dilapidated and kind of broken. We didn’t have money to furnish it.”

Shah Rukh Khan revealed, “We called one designer. The lunch that he served while telling us how he would design this house was way more than the salary I used to earn in a month. We were like, ‘This guy is going to charge us a lot’. So we bought this house and what do we do with it?”

The superstar then said, “I told Gauri, ‘Listen, you have little artistic talent. Why don’t you become the designer of the house?’ So, whatever money we earned over the years, we kept on buying small things. I remember we had gone to South Africa. We had little money which we used to buy the leather for the sofa. So, it took us a while and that training ground actually made her start designing. Mannat is, if I may say, a little big and for her to start doing something at such a young age without a designer helped her also to learn.”

Adah Sharma, the Bollywood actress known for her role in the recently released film The Kerala Story, reportedly met with an accident. This incident occurred amid reports of death threats that the actress had received. Adah took to social media to share an update on her health and assured her fans that she was doing fine.

On Sunday night, Adah tweeted, “I’m fine guys. Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team, all of us are fine, nothing serious, nothing major but thank you for the concern.”

Earlier in the day, Sen had expressed his regrets over not being able to travel to Karimnagar for a youth gathering where he was supposed to discuss his film. In his tweet, Sen mentioned that the reason for the cancellation was due to an unforeseen health emergency. He also apologised to the people of Karimnagar and urged them to continue supporting the film.

Speaking of the film, besides Adah, it also features Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in the lead roles. The storyline revolves around a group of women hailing from Kerala who undergo a conversion to Islam and subsequently join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Produced by Vipul Shah, the film has already crossed the Rs 100-crore mark.

Uorfi Javed, a popular social media influencer, has recently opened up about the physical and emotional abuse she has allegedly faced at the hands of her father. In a shocking revelation, she claimed that her father had hit her so severely that she had fainted. Javed also spoke about the impact of online trolling on her mental health, revealing that it affects her deeply. 

It all happened during the latest episode of YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadi’s podcast. During her appearance on the show, Uorfi spoke about various aspects of her life including the above-mentioned. Javed recalled her childhood and explained, “I was underconfident, weird, and had no friends. I was a confused soul.” 

The Bigg Boss OTT fame actress was also asked why she gets affected once every three months, she stated it is because of trolling. She further added, “Maybe what they say is right- maybe I am not good enough to be a woman, maybe I am a stain on society, maybe I am a bad example for the younger generation. In the language of trolls, as they say it, maybe I am a s**t. I can’t quit and even if I do, what’s happened is always there on the internet.”

Uorfi expressed her distress by asking, “Kya mai itni buri hoon? (Am I so bad?) Maybe no one will accept me, no family will accept me.” As the conversation progressed further, Uorfi revealed that her father held extremely conservative views and that her mother had to shoulder the responsibility of raising five children at a young age. Speaking frankly about her difficult childhood, Uorfi continued that her father's beatings were so severe that she would lose consciousness. She said, “I was not close to my father at all. If one of the parents gets angry and that anger is being taken out on me, that is a different thing.”

She went on to add, “If you will beat your child black and blue and they faint only so that they understand you, then what will they even understand? You can’t retaliate, so that anger keeps building inside and after one point, you say-‘Enough’. When a child grows up and you hit them, it affects them deeply and leaves a negative impact.”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is busy with his work schedule. Recently, amid the traffic issues, the actor took a motorbike lift from a fan to reach his shoot location and even shared pictures on his Instagram account to thank him.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Amitabh posted photos in which he was sitting on the bike. He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue trousers and brown blazer with white sneakers. Sharing the photo, Amitabh captioned the post, “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner.”

Taking to his blog, Amitabh shared a series of pictures and wrote, “Sunday permissions are given to specific regions which can be blocked off for the work we do .. and this is work and the well-wishers after work ..ride on the bike and the driving enthusiasm never does run away.”

He also added, “But now .. caution and care and above all regulatory lives .. Part of living .. many a time there is desire to take over the vehicle and drive it to work .. for the way and the method the carrier drives is of concern .. is of the breaking of regulations .. is the unknown factor of how did they get these driving licenses, when their basic skills are challenged .. no helmet, no regulation or discipline to adhere and respect traffic signals .. blatantly disregarding them and giving a damn to the law or the rules. Maine Pyar Kiya, a film that marked the debut of Bhagyashree and Salman Khan, is still considered a classic. The chemistry between the lead actors was adored by all. Recently, the actress shared an uncomfortable experience with a journalist who alleged that she had an affair with Salman while visiting her at the hospital after childbirth, creating an awkward situation for her and her husband. Bhagyashree has been married to Himalaya Dassani since 1990, and after so many years, she has opened up about the incident.

Bhagyashree told Siddharth Kannan, “I had just given birth to Abhimanyu, and my sister-in-law was outside my room. A press reporter came by with a big bouquet and asked to meet me. Of course, they said go in. She came in, looked at Himalaya, and said, ‘How do you feel about Bhagyashree’s affair with Salman Khan, and now she has this kid with you?'”

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan have scheduled a meeting with their fans on Sunday, May 14th. While the reason for the meeting has not been disclosed, it is likely related to the promotion of their upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke. Previously, it was announced that the film's new title would be revealed on May 16, which happens to be Vicky's birthday.

Earlier, Jio Studios had revealed their forthcoming portfolio of movies and web series. The studio had also provided a few sneak peeks at some of their upcoming movies, including the film starring Vicky and Sara titled as Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke.

Salman Khan, who recently went on a performance tour across the country, has decided to continue with his Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded. While the superstar landed in Kolkata after many years to give a live performance at the East Bengal Club, he also took this opportunity to meet up with the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.

Salman Khan was scheduled to perform at the East Bengal Club as a part of his Dabangg Tour on May 13, Saturday and ahead of the show, the superstar paid a visit to the CM Mamata Banerjee at her residence at around 4pm, according to recent reports. ANI posted a video of Khan dressed in semi-formals as he was snapped outside the CM’s place in Kolkata. The latter not only greeted him warmly but also presented him with a shawl. As per reports, many fans of the superstar gathered around the CM’s residence during this meet-up and the actor was present there for about half hour before taking off to perform at the show.

Bollywood fans have something to look forward to as Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan are to share screen space in a supernatural thriller film directed by Vikas Bahl. The highly anticipated movie is yet to be titled and is being produced by Panorama Studio and Ajay Devgn Ffilms.

Vikas Bahl is a highly acclaimed director who has previously directed the critically acclaimed and National Award-winning film Queen. With such an accomplished director at the helm, expectations for the upcoming film are high.

The news of the collaboration between Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan has further fueled the excitement among fans. Ajay Devgn is a well-known actor in Bollywood, known for his dynamic performances in action and thriller films. R. Madhavan, on the other hand, is widely regarded as one of the most versatile actors in Indian cinema, having starred in a range of genres.

Adhyayan Suman, son of Shekhar Suman, who acted in movies such as Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Heartless, and Himmatwala during the early stages of his career, understood that being the son of a popular actor Shekhar Suman didn't ensure him any roles in films. He disclosed in a recent interview that casting directors used to treat him badly and he felt like a submissive creature that was trying not to offend their egos.

Adhyayan told Hindutan Times, “People used to tell me ‘Arrey jaa na, party kar na industry ke logon ke saath, mix around with them’.(Go and party with industry people) But my question is, mere party karne se kaam kaise mil jayega?,” (how will I get work by partying?).”

He further added, “Sirf party karne se kaam nahi milta hai. Also, you can’t just go and party with them (established names in the industry) . If you are a nobody and haven’t done something big yet, they are not going to invite you ki, ‘Aaja party karte hain’ (Come Let’s party). Either you need to be very successful or be a childhood friend of a star kid to chill around them.”

Talking about how social media has made it more difficult, Adhyayan said, “Things depend on how popular you are on Instagram. But what has Instagram popularity going to do with how you are as an actor? You need to have a certain sense of the craft to be an actor, isn’t it? But here, you are being compared to people with 1 million followers. And aapke utne followers nahi hain toh aap ko cast nahi karenge. It has become ridiculous.”

Adhyayan also how the casting directors behaved with him. He said, “I’ve had casting directors calling me at 2am and saying, ‘Abhi aaja uthkar’. They woke me up at odd times, asked me ki abhi aaja party karne raat ko, and I’ve gone to such parties. I was desperate for work. But after a few times, I felt like a dog. Usne abhi bola uth jaao, phir bola baith jaao. (They have said get up, then said sit down).” He added that couldn’t deny “because if you deny them, you are hurting their fragile egos.”

Adhyayan Suman made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with the film Haal-e-Dil. He later appeared in several other films such as Raaz: The Mystery Continues among others.

According to the latest reports, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd, which is owned by renowned film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, has recently bought a 7,470 square feet plot located in Juhu Gaothan, Andheri West for a whopping ₹31.30 crore.

According to documents accessed and shared by IndexTap.com, the transaction between the production house and Portion Trading Pvt Ltd was recorded on April 10. The documents stated that Nadiadwala's company paid a stamp duty of ₹1.87 crore for the plot and the transaction rate was ₹41,900 per square foot.

Nadiadwala's banner is one of the leading production houses in Bollywood, having produced many hit films like the Baaghi series starring Tiger Shroff, Heropanti, Kick starring Salman Khan, and Judwaa. Several of their recent movies, such as Housefull, Judwaa, Baaghi, and Heropanti, have also had sequels. Nadiadwala's 2018 franchises Judwaa 2 and Baaghi 2 both grossed ₹100 crore worldwide at the box office. The Nadiadwala family has been in the film industry since 1955 and has produced over 200 films.

Sajid Nadiadwala, the film producer, has an upcoming movie named Satyaprem Ki Katha, which features Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The movie is currently under production and its release date has not yet been announced. In addition to that, Nadiadwala's production company is also backing another movie titled Bawaal. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is slated to release in the current year, but the release date has not yet been revealed.

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi made a deliberate choice to avoid the public eye for six months, despite having nine projects slated for release in 2021. During this period, he focused on his upcoming film projects and also engaged in development work in his village. This work included upgrading a school to a high-tech facility and overseeing the planting of 500 plants. Although it may seem unusual for someone with such a busy schedule to step back from the spotlight, Tripathi stated that it was a conscious decision on his part. He is now ready to return to the screen with his upcoming projects.

Pankaj told Hindustan Times, “Since the last two years, I was very frequently seen on screen, so it was my intentional decision to take a step back from the limelight. I don’t think we should be talking where there is nothing concrete to talk about. In life also, I am a low-key person. I work and head back home. I have many projects releasing in the second half, so thought it is better for me to be low key in the first half.”

Pankaj Tripathi upgraded his village school with solar system and library. He said, “The school, which has become secondary from primary, in my village needed some work. The principal reached out to me as I have also studied from the same school. That’s how I got involved in bettering the infrastructure of the place, and also including a solar system in place. The school is high tech now. The main reason for me to do it was to inspire the students studying there. Have also made a library, now coordinating about adding books there.”

Actor's strong connection with village drives him to help with development work. Tripathi said, “It is very important for me to pitch in the development work for my village and the adjoining areas. Because that is the place where I started my journey, and I can’t ever forget about it. My life’s foundation was laid there. Whenever I get time, I head to the village and feel connected. My parents still star there. Last year, I supervised the planting of 500 plants in the area with the help of the local administration. I don’t like talking about it but I do it for my self-satisfaction. It is the society which has made me an actor, and it is my duty to pay back to the society.”

The 2018 blockbuster Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor, made the words ‘Ghapa Ghap’ famous. In the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Vicky Kaushal’s character utters the phrase and it was slang for sex. It was allowed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and cleared the film with a U/A certificate. Five years later, the CBFC, however, asked ‘Ghapa Ghap’ to be censored from an upcoming film, Jogira Sara Ra Ra.

Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma, Jogira Sara Ra Ra has been passed with a U/A certificate and 7 cuts. The words 'daal de...mere' and 'Chub raha hai' were asked to be muted by the CBFC's examining committee. A cuss word, which was not mentioned in the cut list, was also censored. At one point, the dialogue 'E lo...nahin jaayega' was removed and also the visuals shown in that scene. In some scenes, the objectionable 'finger gesture' visuals were removed and replaced with suitable visuals. The anti-smoking ticker was inserted in a smoking scene. And finally, 'Ghapa Ghap' was removed and replaced with suitable words. The cut list mentions that the said dialogue is between a brother and a sister.

After these changes were carried out, the makers Jogira Sara Ra Ra were handed over the censor certificate on May 8. The length of the film, as mentioned on the certificate, is 121 minutes. In other words, this romantic comic caper is 2 hours and 1 minute long.

Interestingly, Jogira Sara Ra Ra was all set to release this Friday, on May 12. But due to multiple releases, the makers decided to postpone the film. Jogira Sara Ra Ra will now be released on May 26. However, since the initial plan was to release it in the second week of May, the makers had begun the censor process so that they could get the certificate before May 12.

Huma Qureshi, known for her role in Army of the Dead, is being cautious in picking her next venture. She recognizes that Indian representation is on the rise, particularly at the Oscars, and is eager for high-quality films, series, and roles, both in India and overseas.

Huma told Hindustan Times, “Army of the Dead was released in 2021, and in the same year the first season of Maharani was also streamed. Last year I had a packed year with Mithya, Maharani season 2, Valimai, Double XL and Monica, O My Darling. Honestly, I haven’t had the mind space to think about chasing after a project because I haven’t had a breather.”

She further added, “Whether it’s in India or in the film industry in the US, I want to be part of cinema. I have always been choosy about the work that I do and it’s no different when it comes to saying yes to the work that comes my way from the west. When it comes to the work announcement from the West, you will have to wait and watch.”

Huma Qureshi also spoke about how proud she is of Indian cinema winning Oscars in two different genres - RRR for Best Original Song and The Elephant Whisperers for Best Documentary Short Film. “Indian cinema has captured the imagination of the west for a long time now. But what’s applause worthy and should be celebrated is the fact that a Telugu film (RRR) which celebrates the true spirit of commercial Indian cinema has won the Oscar for Best Original Song and other important recognitions in the US this year. That’s not all, The Elephant Whisperers hit it out of the park by winning the Best Documentary Short Film Oscar. As an Indian and as a member of the Indian film fraternity, I felt proud because we had been recognised in two completely different genres.”

Popular singer-songwriter Papon was recently hospitalized at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He announced that he was not feeling well. In addition, he revealed that his 13-year-old son stayed with him throughout the night at the hospital.

On Friday, Papon took to his Instagram account and shared the news of him being hospitalised. In the picture, he could be seen resting on bed while his 13-year-old son is sitting on a chair besides him. The duo was all smiles as they looked at the camera. Sharing the post, he wrote in caption, “We all fight these small battles alone. I don’t personally like posting these incidents on social media. But last night was different. It was for the first time, my little boy who is all of 13 opted to be the night attendant at the hospital!

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently shared her experience as a model before she entered the film industry. During an interview, the actress revealed that she had messed up her first-ever photoshoot. The incident left her in tears as she was disappointed that she couldn't perform well in the shoot. Kriti also stated that she has always been a perfectionist and it can sometimes be irritating.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Kriti said, “My mother is a professor, and she was the first woman in her family to work. In fact, she completed her PhD while she was pregnant with me. And being the firstborn, sometimes you have to shoulder the responsibility of setting an example. So I have always felt the need to be really good at whatever I do — I think it’s inbuilt. And I am a perfectionist, almost irritatingly so. I remember feeling extremely nervous during my first photoshoot, and I screwed up a little. I came home crying because it bothered me that I didn’t do well. But confidence can be built over time. I believe you learn more from your failures than you ever will from your successes — my mantra is to learn from my mistakes and move forward.”

Talking about her upcoming project, Kriti said, “I am currently shooting for The Crew, which is a very interesting project for me. I am working with two amazing female actors...we generally work with a lot of male actors, but to work with two leading ladies is a dream come true, and it’s a lot of fun.”

Kriti Sanon will be soon seen in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush. Apart from her, the cast includes Prabhas, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage. It is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. Bollywood actress Kubbra Sait recently discussed shooting an intimate scene with her co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the popular Netflix series Sacred Games. She praised Siddiqui and fondly remembered playfully teasing him about the scene afterward.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, talking about the intimate scene in series Sacred Games, Kubbra said, “That scene was shot on the first day. It was the last scene of day one. I had to just go and complete the scene. I remember we finished the scene and to complete the scene we took seven takes. By the seventh take, I had lost count of the many hours we had been filming. Finally I fell to the floor and could not get back up. I was exhausted. I was crying uncontrollably. Nawaz and AK picked me up and held me tight as I sobbed. Dimly I heard a cut.”

Talking about her co-star, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sait said, “I love him. He is just a beautiful human being and what an incredible co-actor to work with. Also. so shy and we had all those crazy scenes together. He is the shyest human being on earth. Toh unse pakad pakad ke scene karwana padta tha. I used to go kiss him on the cheeks and say ‘chal na sex scene karte hai.’ This is my job I need to create that environment.”

Apart from this, Kubbra Sait has two upcoming projects. One of them is the movie Shehar Lakhot, which features a talented cast, including Chandan Roy Sanyal, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Shruthy Menon. Apart from this, the 27-year-old actress was last seen in Gaslight, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31. She will be next seen in Homi Adajania’s Murder Mubarak in her pipeline. Adah Sharma, who recently featured in The Kerala Story, is all set to feature in the film titled The Game of Girgit produced by Gandhar Films and Studio Pvt Ltd. Starring Shreyas Talpade in the lead role along with Adah Sharma, the film is loosely based on the infamous ‘Blue Whale Game’ which became an instant hit among the youth but also led to various hazardous events and deaths that took place due to the 'The Blue Whale' challenge.

Helmed by Vishal Pandya, the film will star Adah Sharma in an unconventional role wherein she’ll be headlining the role of a police officer in the film, which is inspired by true events. Speaking about playing a cop, Adah Sharma said, "I play a cop in Bhopal in The Game of Girgit. The film is based on an app called the blue whale app. The game on the app is a series of tasks which finally leads to self-harm or harming someone else once one has taken the assignment there is no way out. I'm solving the case. I've played a cop before in Commando. Bhavana Reddy got very popular. Gayatri Bhargav is a very different cop. It's fun to play a cop but differently this time."

On the other hand, protagonist Shreyas Talpade too opened up about the film, adding, “The plot of the film is extremely interesting and that intrigued me to be associated with the film. The Game of Girgit is being directed by Vishal Pandya and I’m really looking forward to this journey, the thriller also has a powerful message that we strongly feel should reach the audiences, especially the kids and the youngsters of the nation.”

Giving us a further insight into the film, filmmaker Vishal Pandya, continued, " The Game of Girgit is a story of today’s generation where the young kids have adopted friendship apps on mobile as their friends with whom they share all their private life without knowing what problem they are getting into. Shreyas Talpade plays an app developer who takes advantage of this vulnerable kids & Adah who is a cop, investigates the cases of kids committing suicide & how her own closed one becomes a victim. Now the challenge to catch Girgit is not professional, now it gets personal."

The Jiah Khan suicide trial, that recently had its final hearing at the Special CBI Court, seems to have not ended. Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan expressed her disappointment in the verdict of the court after they acquitted Sooraj Pancholi of all charges due to lack of evidence. In a recent statement given to the press by Khan, she continued to not only assert that the case is ‘homicidal’ in nature but also termed the trial as ‘mockery’ of the Indian judicial system.

In a statement given by Rabia Khan, she said, “This case was on the wrong track from the very beginning. All the evidence were pointing to homicidal death. Sooraj Pancholi was accused of the wrong crime to start with. How can it be possible that police accused him of the crime when they had no evidence? All the evidence that I had given to CBI like forensic experts reports that pointed to murder was simply ignored and was never pr”oduced before the honourable court by the prosecution.”

She went on to accuse the prosecution and CBI to be compromised. The entire trial was a mockery of the judiciary system. The court was following a higher court order, pre-trial, the path they predetermined for the trial court to follow to give an acquittal to the accused only to close the case. In long ten years both the agencies of India – the police and CBI did not find one single piece of legally relevant evidence for suicide, it requires convincing evidence of an accused having directly driven the victim to commit suicide immediately before the act, and prove any abetment of suicide allegations against the accused Sooraj Pancholi. The burden of proof was so high, all the parties involved must have known the outcome but none of it made legally or rationally any sense.”

“During the trial it was soon obvious to me that CBI and the prosecution had been compromised, because they never established the actual cause of death. Let me repeat this: The actual cause of Jiah’s death was never established. No evidence were sent for forensic analysis by the court, Instead, the CBI simply used the preliminary finding of the police appointed post-mortem report as the cause of death due to asphyxia,” she continued.

Despite the verdict, Rabia not only continued to accuse Sooraj Pancholi but also called him ‘merciless’ for distributing sweets to the media. “Sooraj was an accused and he lied through his teeth and both the agencies throughout honoured his lies for reasons best known to them,” she accused as she concluded by adding, “The fact that he handed out sweets outside the courtroom illustrates this and sums up his mercilessness. Sooraj will one day have to grapple with the demons that he walks with.”

As per recent reports, the court also observed that the suicide-note submitted by Rabia Khan was also ‘fake’. On the other hand, Rabia Khan, in an earlier statement, has asserted that she would be approaching the High Court to take this case further.

For the unversed, Jiah Khan was found hanging in her Mumbai residence on June 25, 2013. The actress was then reportedly dating Sooraj Pancholi, who is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.
