Singer Asees Kaur and musician Goldie Sohel tied the knot and shared their first pictures as a married couple on Saturday. The newlyweds took to Instagram to post a joint picture, showcasing their wedding outfits. Asees and Goldie opted for elegant pink ensembles, with Asees wearing a pink salwar suit and Goldie donning a white sherwani paired with a pink turban.

In the first picture, Asees can be seen smiling while Goldie gazes at her lovingly as they sit inside a gurdwara. The next photo captures Goldie with his arm around Asees, their eyes locked in a beautiful moment. The final photo shows the couple closing their eyes as they bring their faces close together, symbolizing their love and connection.

The DCU project, directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Ezra Miller in the lead role, has been captivating audiences worldwide with its gripping storytelling and powerful performances.

On June 17, Hrithik took to his verified Instagram handle to share his thoughts on the film. In a selfie posted by the actor, he can be seen posing inside a theatre with the captivating title of The Flash displayed on the big screen behind him.

Hrithik's excitement and admiration for the movie were evident as he captioned the photo, "Just watched #FLASH / What a movie!! / Incredible!" He further expressed his satisfaction by stating, "This one hits the bullseye!"

The much-awaited film Adipurush has finally been released with much fanfare. Starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, the film has opened at a huge Rs. 36 crores as per early estimates. What’s praiseworthy is that despite being such an expensive film, the makers didn’t ask for ticket prices to be insanely hiked. The norm nowadays is to opt for blockbuster rates for biggies. Often, this makes it unaffordable for the masses. Many have been complaining about it on social media but their plea has fallen on deaf ears. Everyone expected Adipurush makers to also sell tickets at inflated prices. But viewers were pleasantly surprised when they realized that the ticket rates were steep but not as much as for other big-scale films of recent times.

During an interaction with Hindustan Times, Bhushan Kumar explained that there are three price brackets – regular, popular and blockbuster. He said, “Big films like Brahmastra (2022), RRR (2022) and KGF - Chapter 2 (2022) opted for blockbuster rates. But, we opted for the popular rates. The tickets are expensive, as Adipurush is also available in 3D and theatres have added their cost.”

Director Om Raut, meanwhile, revealed that he had asked for a cap in ticket prices. He added that if they had their way, they would have sold Adipurush’s tickets for Rs. 100 so that the masses could afford to watch it.

In the same story, Bhushan Kumar also revealed that Om Raut had done a thorough research and hence, they were able to sail through easily during the Censor process. Bhushan said, “Om had a checklist of things we should not do. He had everything documented by the experts. Even when we went to the Censor Board for certification, we were prepared for the questions that might come up. I’m glad we got a U certificate.”

Actress Sonia Kashyap, known for her work in the show Kismat Connection on Sahara One, allegedly fell victim to a fraudulent scheme orchestrated by an imposter posing as renowned television producer Rajan Shahi, the mastermind behind popular TV serials Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Sonia, hailing from a small district in Assam, shared her harrowing experience of being scammed out of more than Rs 50,000 by individuals claiming to offer her acting opportunities.

According to a report by Free Press Journal, Sonia, currently residing in Goregaon, Mumbai, filed a complaint with the local police, narrating her unfortunate encounter with the scammer. Seeking auditions and acting roles, she stumbled upon a phone number and a Facebook link that supposedly belonged to Rajan Shahi. These contacts led her to a post mentioning casting calls for popular serials, including Anupamaa, and claimed to be associated with Shahi's production company, Director's Kut Productions.

The imposter engaged in conversation with Sonia and eventually demanded payment for membership in the Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA), insisting it was a prerequisite for landing a role. During this ordeal, Sonia was put in touch with two people—one impersonating Rajan Shahi and the other claiming to be Anita Singh from CINTAA. Trusting the imposter's promises, Sonia reportedly transferred approximately Rs 53,000 for the alleged CINTAA membership.

However, her ordeal did not end there. She was subsequently asked to pay an additional Rs 24,000. Realizing she could not afford to pay any more money, Sonia expressed her inability to do so. In response, the imposter assured her that the money would be refunded. Unfortunately, the promised refund never materialized. Sensing something was amiss, Sonia made several attempts to contact the individuals involved but found herself blocked from further communication.

In her complaint to the Mumbai Police, Sonia poured out her heart, stating, "I am a simple girl trying to make my living in this city by acting and selling ladies' bags to friends and their circle. I am in constant need of money and work to survive, and hence was duped by these people. I humbly request your help in recovering my hard-earned money and ensuring that these individuals are punished so that they do not cheat other innocent people."

Hrithik Roshan bagged his fifth International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category for his performance in Vikram Vedha, commemorating the experience the versatile actor shared a reel on social media.

Presenting an unseen facet of his versatility, Hrithik Roshan impressed with his impactful performance as the menacing Vedha in Vikram Vedha. Paying attention to all details, Hrithik aced the mannerisms to the accent as the dreaded yet ethically sound gangster, making him worthy of all the praises and accolades for his role.

Bagging the award at the event in Abu Dhabi, Hrithik Roshan had decided it to the makers of his film Pushkar and Gayatri saying, “I have lived with Vedha for many years now. It began right here in Abu Dhabi. I gave my first shot as Vedha here...it feels like life has come full circle to me. Vedha helped me unleash madness inside me which I did not know existed. Thank you universe and thank you Vedha for helping me discover that madness and helping me discover the strength to hold that madness. I really love and admire characters which are born out of a deep collaboration between an actor and a director. And I know for a fact I wouldn't be standing here this evening if it wasn't for my directors.”

Saying this, Hrithik Roshan invited the co-writers and director duo Pushkar and Gayatri on stage, dedicating the award to them and expressed his gratitude for them. The director duo also showered their love on Hrithik Roshan, reciprocating the admiration and respect.

Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai released in 2000, same year that IIFA was instituted. The Indian superstar revealed the same during his press interaction at the award ceremony. Hrithik Roshan said, “I’ve got some amazing memories with IIFA; IIFA and I began together in 2000.”

As the IIFA was held in Abu Dhabi this year, Hrithik Roshan revealed another interesting anecdote saying, “Abu Dhabi is where I gave my first shot as an actor”, recalling his first ever scene for Vikram Vedha shot in the city.

Legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty turned 73 yesterday. He has acted in over 350 movies in a career spanning close to 50 years. Known the most for films like Disco Dancer and Agneepath, he continues to be active in films. He was a pivotal part in last year’s blockbuster The Kashmir Files. Just before Mithun Chakraborty’s special day, we spoke to his son Mahaakshay aka Mimoh Chakraborty on how it has been growing up with an evergreen star.

How are you planning to celebrate Mithunda’s birthday? Dad… you know how low-profile he is. He doesn’t celebrate his birthday at all. He strictly tells us not to wish him, no celebration, etc. But we don’t listen to him. We call him at midnight and sing “Happy Birthday”. But when he is in Mumbai, we insist that he cook for us. That is something we look forward to on his birthday.

As a child, what were your first impressions of your father? As a child my first impression of my dad was that he was always super-busy. Would you believe, he used to do as many as six shifts per day? Six projects on the floor on the same day! To each he would give two hours. So he was always on the move, whether in Mumbai or out of the city. So my brother and I would hardly ever see him. But when we did see him, we used to be very scared of him. He had this intimidating personality. Dad was Dad! Like mom was always mom, cuddly and affectionate. Today, touchwood, dad and I the best of friends. We’ve adult conversations. Back then we were very scared of him.

When did you become aware that he was a major star. Did you have first-hand experiences of your father being mobbed? See, we always knew dad was an actor, a superstar and a legend. And we’ve seen him first-hand being mobbed left, right and centre by his fans. But even today, when you ask me this, for us it’s never been like, “Oh he is a superstar!”. We know how much people love and respect him. But for us he has always been a dad. An achiever no doubt. But not Mithun Chakraborty, the superstar. Dad is dad.

When did you first watch his films and which are your favourites? I am sure you liked him best in Disco Dancer when you were a child I don’t remember at what age I started watching his films. He was already doing a whole lot of films while we were kids. Of course, I love Disco Dancer. But my favourite film of dad is Phool Aur Angaaray. I don’t know why I have a soft corner for that particular film. I remember watching the film 10-15 times at the trials before it was released. Somehow, the movie was fixated in my head. In the second-half when he has this Terminator look with jelled hair and the leather jacket out to take revenge… the coolest action hero.

Since he was doing multi- shifts when you were born, did you get to spend enough time with him as a child? We did not get to spend that much time with him. He was working his ass off for us. Even today he is doing everything for us. I remember when we were young and waiting for him to come home, dad had this habit of ringing the doorbell twice. Whenever the doorbell rang twice, we knew dad was home. Back then, we couldn’t understand why we didn’t have more time with him. Now we know.

Is Mithun da a disciplinarian? Or did he pamper you and your siblings silly? Dad was always a balanced father. Right remains right and wrong remains wrong. It doesn’t change for his children. He’s never over-protected or pampered us. He is a balanced father with me and my three siblings.

Does it become a burden sometimes to be known as Mithun Charaborty's son? I don’t think the privilege of being Mithun Chakraborty’s son would ever be a burden. Today also people tell me, “Dada ke hum fan hain. Unki filmein dekh kar bade hue.” It is such an honour. We are always reminded of his achievements. It feels like such a blessing to be one of his children. I thank my parents for this. And please understand, there is no entitlement to my career because of whose son I am. I am just thankful for having the parents that I do. If you ask me next year or ten years from now what it feels like to be my father’s son, the answer will remain the same: it is and it will always be a blessing.

Your birthday wish? My birthday wish for my dad? It’s my dream and my life’s purpose to make him proud. I want to say thank you for all the love he has given us. It is my wish to keep pushing myself to make him proud.

Prabhas starrer Adipurush released in theatres on June 16, 2023. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. While the film has opened in cinemas all over the globe, there have been incidents over security reasons and even screening delays. Cinegoers in Telangana vandalized a theatre after the screening of the film was delayed.

A video has gone viral on the internet from Jyothi Cinema in Telangana’s Sangareddy city. Some were heard chanting “Jai Shri Ram” in the background while some throwing things at the glass window panes. The cinegoers vandalized the theatre after the screening was delayed by 40 minutes allegedly due to issue with the sound system. A case was registered and the police is currently investigating the incident.

The film Murder (2004) is credited to have made erotica mainstream in Bollywood. But 10 months before the release of this film, Khwahish (2003) arrived in cinemas and surprised people with its content. It starred Himanshu Malik in the lead and is said to be the debut film of Mallika Sherawat. As Khwahish completed 20 years on June 6, Bollywood Hungama exclusively spoke to Himanshu Malik about working on this film and a lot more.

How did you bag the film? The director, Govind Menon, was an old friend. This was the time when I had just worked in Tum Bin (2001), a year before. It had done really well. The makers of Khwahish were looking to do a fresh film and they had a good script in hand. My current producer, Akbar Arabiyan, was also the producer of Khwahish. That’s how I know him.

It was a passion project. We were all very driven. Govind had just done his filmmaking course in the USA. He had some fresh, interesting ideas. Khwahish was ahead of its time in certain ways. It showed how youth engage with relationships and that’s why it created a flutter.

Khwahish was one of the first films or maybe the first film that showed a character hesitating to buy a condom. 20 years have passed but this aspect is shown in films even today. The recent release Jogira Sara Ra Ra (2023) also had a similar scene… Yes. The characters in the film discussed sex openly. This happens in every relationship but it was never shown on celluloid before. It was an era of Yash Raj and Karan Johar films. Everything then was soaked in buttery, sugary syrup. That is what stood out in Khwahish and we got noticed and remembered.

The belief that it had 17 kisses in the film must have also helped in generating awareness and hype… It was quite unprecedented. Now they show much more. But at that time, we were petrified that due to the kisses, the Censor Board might refuse certification. There was a lot of anxiety among us. At that time, if a hero and heroine would kiss, the makers would cut to birds flying or flowers dashing. A Yash Raj or Karan Johar film had not shown a kiss till then. It was very brave of the makers to go for it.

But were there as many as 17 kisses in the film? I happen to count and I feel the number of kisses was lesser… I don’t know who came up with the idea. I guess 17 kisses toh nahin the. Some journalist had mentioned it. The connotation became that it had a lot of kisses. Then all the idiotic discussions began that whether a peck on the lips is a kiss or a forehead kiss is also counted as a kiss! Nevertheless, the word spread that the film has such content.

Did the Censors cut any scene? No. We went through the process smoothly. They didn’t ask for a cut and got an ‘A’ certificate.

How was it to work with Mallika Sherawat? She wasn’t fun to work with. It was her first major film. She was extremely anxious. It was a slow process. She needed more and more rehearsals and more and more takes. As a co-actor, it became extremely exhausting. You want your best take to be there and you also want your co-actor to do the same. It’s a team effort. When I did Khwaish, I was two-films-old. I knew the process and the pressures of being on a film set. Also at that time, we used to shoot on film. Each rejected take meant money wasted.

Salman Khan is back with Bigg Boss and this time he is hosting the OTT version. The first season was hosted by Karan Johar. The launch event took place on Friday, June 16.

Salman recently spoke about his expectations from the second season of Bigg Boss OTT and said, “I always look forward to Bigg Boss. First time on Bigg Boss OTT. I hope it is not too uncensored and unfiltered, and if it is, then I will control it myself. The show should run keeping in mind our culture and that’s why I am a part of Bigg Boss OTT. Actually, Karan (Johar) and Farah (Khan) were not available, that’s why I had to do Bigg Boss OTT.”

He added, “Main OTT par bhi aise kuch hone nahi dunga joh humare khilaf aur humare culture ke khilaf ho. Main nahi hone dunga (I will not allow anything against our culture on the show).”

When asked if there's any difference between TV and OTT platforms, he said, “I don’t find any difference. The type of OTT content you are talking about, I anyways don’t do that kind of stuff and I don’t like it. I think now there are guidelines for OTT, after which OTT has improved.”

He further said, “I have a friend who did not tell me he is participating in the show. I was shocked looking at him on the stage. His name is Niketan Madhok.”

Talking about the wedding on June 18, a source was quoted by Hindustan Times saying, “All the functions will be held at Taj Lands End, but the haldi ceremony took place at their house only. That’s because they wanted some functions at home for that wedding vibe. Adipurush is expected to be a retelling of Ramayana and is directed by Om Raut. The film also stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankeshwar, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, and Sunny Singh as Laxmanan. The film is expected to release on June 16 in multiple languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.

As for Prabhas, apart from Adipurush, he has some interesting projects like Project K with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, Salaar with Shruti Hasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Spirit with Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and an untitled film with Maruti in the pipeline.

In the year 2006, the Mika Singh and Rakhi Sawant controversy kick-started with the reality show star and actress taking legal action and registering an FIR against the ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’ singer for forcibly kissing her at his birthday party. The musician was charged under sections 354 for molestation and section 323 of assault as per the Indian Penal Code. Followed by the same, while the case has been in limbo for years, the Bombay High Court has finally quashed the case after Rakhi submitted an affidavit of consent.

Earlier this year, Rakhi Sawant, who was in news for her divorce with Adil Khan, surprised many by posing with Mika Singh outside a coffee shop. The actress-dancer insisted that they are now on cordial terms and was seen hugging it out, after which Mika moved the court to dismiss the charges against him and quash the chargesheet filed against him by the Mumbai police. Justices A S Gadkari and S G Dige observed that Rakhi Sawant in her affidavit, had maintained that she has ‘amicably resolved’ all her ‘differences and realised the entire dispute had arisen due to misunderstanding and misconception’ on their part. Followed by the same, the court has dismissed all the charges filed against the singer.

For the unversed, Mika Singh had invited Rakhi Sawant to attend his birthday party in 2006 and had warned his friends to refrain from smearing cake on his face. Rakhi, allegedly, did not pay heed to it and continued to smear the cake on Mika’s face. As per the singer, in order to ‘teach her a lesson’ he had forcibly kissed her. Many photos and videos from the party had later made to the media. The FIR against the singer was registered on June 11, 2006.

In a dramatic turn of events, the release of Om Raut’s highly anticipated mythological epic drama Adipurush was earlier stalled in Nepal by the Nepal Censor Board after they took objection to the dialogue which says that Goddess Sita was India’s daughter. According to the board, Sita was born in Nepal. But as per a latest update, the board has allowed the film to be screened in Nepal after the makers of Adipurush decided to remove the dialogue from the film, which is releasing worldwide tomorrow on June 16.

The initial news came out when journalist Rahul Raut took to Twitter and said, “The Nepal government has objected to the scene where the film claims Goddess Sita was the daughter of India, whereas she was actually BORN IN NEPAL. The Censor Board has decided not to release it there until the makers correct the error!”

But moments later, he posted another tweet which read, “UPDATE!! #Adipurush is now releasing in Nepal... Popular TV star Avneet Kaur is making her Bollywood debut with the upcoming comedy-drama Tiku Weds Sheru. Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav, the film is the maiden project of Kangana Ranaut's production house, Manikarnika Films, also making it their first collaboration with the streaming service Prime Video. Tiku Weds Sheru stars acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with actor Avneet in the titular role. Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.

Sharing his reaction on the commencement of the film’s shoot, Gulshan said in a statement, “It’s been a good year for me so far and Ulajh has a great cast put together and I’m really looking forward to filming this film with them. To say the least it’s a complicated part that I’m playing in this one.”

The movie, which is directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures, follows the journey of a young IFS officer, played by Janhvi Kapoor, and the ups and downs that she goes through. It also has Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles.

Recreating a portion of Mahabharata with his next, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is expected to be planning to retell the folklore of an epic saga with Karna. Going by recent reports it seems that the filmmaker is keen on Suriya playing the lead role. We hear that the actor too is keen on playing the role and is in advanced talks with the Rang De Basanti filmmaker for the same.

As per a Pinkvilla report, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was keen on roping an experienced actor to essay this complex character. A source was quoted in these reports saying, “Karna is Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s dream project and he has been working on the subject for a while now. The filmmaker as also his producer partners believe that the film has potential to be a game changer in India as no one has attempted a film on such a complex protagonist till date. The character traits warranted a great actor who can slip from one zone to the other, and who better than Suriya to do the same.”

Needless to say, the film will be a Pan India venture that will release in multiple languages. The source also revealed that the film will be a two-part series and that Suriya too is quite keen on coming on board. “Suriya and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra have been in talks for Karna for a while now and it’s all moving in the right direction. Suriya is very excited to be a part of the two-part epic with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It’s a historical set in the Mahabharata times with Suriya playing one of the most complex characters of his career – Karna,” the source added.

If all goes well, this will mark Suriya and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s first collaboration. As of now, Suriya is busy with the shoot of the ambitious film Kanguva which also stars Disha Patani.

Talking about The Archies, it has been recently reported that the film is aiming November 24 as its release date. The film serves as the launchpad for a group of promising newcomers, including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan, marking their entry into Bollywood. A musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything young adult, the film will feature the youthful energy, hope, and excitement of the sixty’s era. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, The Archies is co-written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. Said to be a musical drama set in the 1960s, the film is all set to release on Netflix.

Talking about her marriage, Sonnalli had earlier told Hindustan Times, “Ashesh and I were very sure about having a very simple wedding with people who mean something to us. In a shocking turn of events, producer Sajid Nadiadwala along with his director Nitesh Tiwari and the actors, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have decided to bring their next, Bawaal, on direct to digital platform. Sources close to the production houses have confirmed that Bawaal is slated to be a direct to digital release on Amazon Prime Video.

"Bawaal is among the most ambitious films by Sajid Nadiadwala that rides on a subject that doesn't exactly have the commercial trappings of dance and music. In the present market scenario. Sajid, who has a knack of commercial cinema, feels that it's best to bring Bawaal on direct to digital, rather than risking a theatrical outing. He has got a great deal from digital players and decided to part ways with the original plans of bringing it in theatres," a source close to the development told Bollywood Hungama.

The film will now release in October on Amazon Prime Video and an official announcement shall be made soon. "Sajid got into conversation with his actors, Varun and Janhvi, and it's only after having all been on the same page did he take this call. The entire team believes that Bawaal will win over the audience's love on OTT. The film is a poetry in motion and is expected to reach out to an even wider audience base on digital medium, which might not have been possible with theatrical release. The idea is to go global with Bawaal and Amazon is the perfect partner for that reach," the source further told us.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Bawaal is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is slated to see a direct to digital release on Amazon Prime. The movie stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead, and is set against the world war 2 backdrop.

Gadar – Ek Prem Katha (2001) is not just one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema but a film that continues to be loved and consumed regularly, even after 22 years of its release. When it arrived in cinemas on June 15, 2021, it created a frenzy in cinemas. Hence, it was shocking when Sunny Deol dropped the bomb that before the release, there were apprehensions in the industry about its box office prospects. Distributors shied away from buying it while some suggested that it seems like a ‘Punjabi film’! Sunny Deol opened about up about this aspect at the re-release premiere of Gadar – Ek Prem Katha, held in Mumbai on Friday, June 9.

Sunny Deol said, "Jab Gadar – Ek Prem Katha lagi, tab humein nahin pata tha ki yeh film gadar machayegi (smiles). People used to say, 'Yeh Punjabi film hai. Isse Hindi mein dub karo'. Some distributors said, 'Main toh nahin kharidunga yeh film'. So we did face a lot of issues. Lekin janta ko film itni pasand aayi ki unhone sab ka munh bandh karwa diya! Unhone hi humein himmat di hai ki hum part 2 banayein."

Gadar – Ek Prem Katha was re-released on June 9 across the country as the sequel, Gadar 2, is all set to hit cinemas on August 11 this year. Just like the first part, Gadar 2 also stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma.

A discussion on Gadar – Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol is incomplete without the mention of the iconic hand pump scene. When Sunny was asked if he’ll once again lift the hand pump to beat the baddies, Sunny Deol joked, "Iss baar in logon ne saare hand pumps chhupa diye. Pehle se hi nikaal diye!"

Director Anil Sharma was also present and he remarked, "Main film yehi soch ke banata hoon ki yeh Bharat ki hi nahin, vishwa ki sabse badi blockbuster hogi. At times, I succeed and at times, I don't. Gadar – Ek Prem Katha ke time pe main sahi ho gaya. Sunny ji is humble. He knows from the inside (that the film will work). Yet, he would ask me, 'Sharma ji, chalegi?'. I would say, 'Chalegi nahin sir, daudegi. Bahut daudegi'.”

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is finding joy not only in her professional life but also in her personal life. The actress is currently having a delightful workday, accompanied by her mother and mother-in-law. Recently, Kiara was captured stepping out of her vanity van, where the trio was seen enjoying some quality time together on the set of the film Satyaprem Ki Katha.

In the video shared, Kiara's mother looked lovely in an oversized white shirt paired with black flared pants. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra's mother wore a colourful kurta and palazzo set, walking alongside Kiara's mother as they both stepped out of the vanity van. It appeared that both the actress' mother and mother-in-law came to support Kiara on The Kapil Sharma Show.

While for the show, Kiara Advani looked stunning in a pink saree. She elegantly paired it with an off-white sequined blouse, tied her hair in a ponytail, and showcased beautiful jhumka earrings as she stepped out of her vanity van and entered the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. Talking about the film, Satyaprem Ki Katha also marks a massive collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films Chhichhore and Anandi Gopal. Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to hit theatres June 29, 2023.

The film also marks as reunion of the beloved on-screen duo Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, known for their previous collaboration in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the previous year. Satyaprem Ki Katha is a highly anticipated romantic musical love saga has been teasing audiences with an intriguing teaser and the soulful song, 'Naseeb Se.' and the recently released official trailer, further intensifying the excitement surrounding its upcoming release. Kiara also has Game Changer in her pipeline.

On June 9, Friday, actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi celebrated their engagement in a private and intimate ceremony. The couple delighted their fans by sharing the first pictures from the engagement on Instagram, shortly after midnight. The candid snapshots showcased both Varun and Lavanya proudly displaying their engagement rings.

Few hours after the engagement, both Varun and Lavanya took to their Instagram account and delighted fans with beautiful pictures from their ceremony. In the pictures, Varun looked dashing in a white kurta pyjama, while Lavanya exuded grace in a light green saree. She complemented her attire with traditional jewellery and styled her hair in an elegant loose bun. For the unversed, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi met each other on the sets of their 2017 film Mister, a romantic action drama directed by Srinu Vaitla. While the two actors were expected to have shared a great on and off-screen camaraderie during the shoot of the film, we heard that the rumours about them dating started surfacing when they worked together again in the 2020 film Antariksham 9000 KMPH. The sci-fi adventure movie also featured Aditi Rao Hydari and was directed by Sankalp Reddy. According to reports, Varun chose to make his official proposal to Lavanya during her birthday celebration in Bangalore. Despite this significant event, the couple made a mutual decision to keep their relationship a secret until they were ready to publicly announce their engagement.
