Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh started his career in 2010 with Band Baaja Baaraat bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. Post the release, the production banner again collaborated with the actor for its 2011 release Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. Singh has been part of a bunch of YRF films. However, the association has come to an end now.

As per a report by Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh and YRF Talent Management Agency have amicably decided to part ways. Quoting a reliable source, the report stated, “YRF will always be home for Ranveer Singh. Aditya Chopra punted on him as a rank newcomer, who has since then become one of the biggest superstars that this country has seen.”

It further added, “He has been mentored, groomed, and shaped to become the icon that he is today. So, the relationship between the two is and will always be solid and precious as ever.”

As the source continued, it asserted, “Ranveer was being managed by YRF’s talent management agency and they have now amicably decided to part ways in this regard. Ranveer and YRF will continue to collaborate together creatively as and when they can come together for an exciting project. The relationship between Ranveer and YRF has always been and continues to be one of immense mutual respect and affection.”

A few days ago, the portal had also reported that Parineeti Chopra has moved out of YRF’s talent management agency. However, it’s all done amicably. The report had stated that Parineeti wanted to explore other avenues, and thus she decided to move to another talent management agency.

Coming back to Singh’s professional front, the 37-year-old actor was last seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He has a bunch of upcoming projects in his kitty, including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Cirkus, among others.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently shooting for an upcoming film in London. Being an avid social media user, the actress keeps posting to give a sneak peek to her fans. Making an addition to the same, on Thursday evening, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a photo dump, featuring her elder sister Karisma Kapoor.

For the unversed, on her day off from work, Bebo joined sister Karisma Kapoor, Haseena Jethmalani, Nitasha Nanda, and Rima Jain over lunch. While she shared a group picture on her Instagram story, Kareena dedicated a post to give glimpses of her gala time with Karisma.

The Kapoor sisters can be seen taking a mirror selfie together in the first photo. Interestingly, the duo twinned in animal-printed fur jackets and looked as stunning as ever. In another snap,  Kareena was seen sporting a short, black dress with turtleneck details. She layered it with a fur jacket with an animal design and knee-high boots.

His fans have showered immense love on him. In fact, the Pathaan teaser has now crossed 22M views on YouTube.

On the video-sharing platform, the teaser of the SRK-starrer has crossed 22M views along with 1M+ likes and is still counting. Interestingly, the actor had also shared the official teaser on his verified Instagram handle. The platform suggests that the video post has garnered over 34M views from users on Instagram.

It is worth mentioning that  Tamil and Telugu-language teaser has also bagged over 4M views on the photo-video-sharing application.

For the unversed, the one-minute-twenty-four-seconds-long teaser was unveiled on the occasion of Khan’s 57th birthday, which was on November 2. The upcoming action-thriller will also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film is slated to release on January 25, 2023.

Talking about the film, director Siddharth Anand said, “We had to make a unit that justifies their wait to see something of Pathaan as well as the fact that we have chosen his birthday to release the first big asset of the film! It had to be spectacular and memorable at the same time and I think we have managed to make them very happy, given the incredible reaction that we are witnessing for Pathaan’s teaser,” in a statement.

The War director further continued and added, “For us, Pathaan is not just a film, it is an emotion as we are aiming to make the biggest action spectacle with one of the all-time biggest on-screen icons that Indian cinema has ever seen.”

Raj Kundra, who has been in news for making bizarre appearances during events, has finally opened up about the reason behind using masks. Readers would be aware that Raj, who even attended the lavish B-town Diwali bashes, refused to reveal his face to the camera and has been sporting it for all events that he has been attending ever since he returned home after being out of police custody. Known for calling out patriarchy and doing roles that break stereotypes, Neena Gupta has never shied away from calling spade a spade. From doing shows like Masaba Masaba to playing some of the most popular characters on the big screen in recent times, the actress has been once again on a career-high even at the age of 60. During an interview for her forthcoming film Uunchai promotions, Neena Gupta and Sarika were discussing how they played older siblings to actors who were much older than her and how actors would romance actresses who were almost two to three decades younger than them.

Recalling the days, Neena Gupta spoke about how she had played elder sister to Feroz Khan who was 20 years older than her. The actress played his widowed sister-in-law in the film Yalgaar (1992) which featured Feroz Khan with Sridevi as his love interest. The film also featured Sanjay Dutt, Nagma, and Manisha Koirala, among others. Agreeing with her perception, her Uunchai co-star Sarika added that in recent times, actors’ characters and roles have changed as more and more actors are willing to play the role of fathers to grown-up women which was never the case earlier.

Neena Gupta was seen discussing it during a Mirchi interview, where she said, “I once played Feroz Khan’s older sister… He was 20 years older than me… I have done many roles like this because at that time, we didn’t have TV shows or anything. We only had films, and these were the only roles we’d get.” Meanwhile, Sarika added, “Playing a mother isn’t always a bad thing. It’s wrong when they ask you to play mother to someone who is just four years younger than you in real life… There are so many men who are in their 50s, and they’re playing fathers, so it’s very good. In the old times, they used to keep dancing around bushes even after the age of 70.”

Coming to their forthcoming film Uunchai, produced by Rajshri Productions and directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film tells the story of three friends who decide to fulfill the last wish of their fourth friend at any cost – which is to climb Mt. Everest. With Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher in the lead, the film also features Parineeti Chopra as their guide and it is slated to release on November 11.

Brahmastra was one of the most awaited films of 2022. The movie finally released this year, on September 9. The hype was tremendous and it resulted in an earth-shattering opening of Rs. 36 crores. The word of mouth was largely positive and hence, it continued to do fine business at the box office. It ended its domestic lifetime collections with Rs. 257.44 crores. Overseas too, it did well and collected Rs. 95.59 crores gross. The worldwide total gross came up to an impressive Rs. 402.07 crores. And this collection is going to improve next month.

It has come to light that Brahmastra will release in China on December 2, 2022. The Chinese poster is out and it has created a lot of excitement among fans. An industry expert told Bollywood Hungama, “The whole industry and trade will look forward to Brahmastra’s release in China. As we all know, several films in recent years have done exceptional business in the neighbouring country like Dangal (2016), Secret Superstar (2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2017), Hichki (2018), Hindi Medium (2017) etc. Moreover, Brahmastra is backed by Disney and it’ll make sure it gets a wide release in the country.”

The industry expert continued, “Usually, Bollywood films release in 4500-5000 screens across China. The exceptions were Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) which got a release in 6000 screens while Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which was released in 9000 screens. It now remains to be seen if Brahmastra’s screen count exceeds that of Dangal. Even if it doesn’t, it’ll surely be one of the biggest releases for a Bollywood film in the country.” Brahmastra is also expected to get a release in the IMAX screens.

Another source remarked, “It all depends on which local or Hollywood film is releasing alongside Brahmastra. That will give a clear idea about the screen count in the weeks to come.”

Before the pandemic, the Akshaye Khanna-Sidharth Malhotra-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq (2017) was the last Bollywood film to be released in China, on October 25, 2019. Post-pandemic, things resumed with Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Chhichhore (2019). It arrived in Chinese cinemas on January 7, 2022. Then, Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam (2015) was released in China on April 15 this year. Ram Gopal Varma has claimed that his film Ladki (2022) will soon release in the neighbouring country but there’s no confirmation of it. Meanwhile, another major Hindi film of 2022 that is certain to release in China is the Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.

Another trade expert, however, cautioned, “Brahmastra faces a few challenges. The China box office is not the same anymore. It has been affected by China government’s zero-COVID strategy, which involves frequent and often prolonged lockdowns in certain cities. It has also resulted in travel restrictions and economic hardships for the residents. It’ll be interesting to see if Brahmastra can tide over these challenges and emerge a success.”

Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 57^th birthday today, November 2, and there’s a lot of excitement in the air. A lot of celebrations are planned today. The biggest of them is the teaser release of his most awaited comeback film, Pathaan. It was released by the producers, Yash Raj Films (YRF), at 11 am. Moreover, YRF also re-released their classic film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) in several cinemas across the country. Surprisingly, many shows are either sold out or fast-filling.

And now Disney+ Hotstar has also joined in the celebrations it seems. The streaming giant has dropped the first 10 minutes of Brahmastra on their portal as well as on their YouTube channel. Interestingly, the film will be out on the app on November 4. Since Shah Rukh Khan’s much-loved cameo appears in the beginning of the film, many feel that it was intentionally dropped today to coincide with the superstar’s birthday.

Co-produced by Karan Johar, Brahmastra starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles and it also features Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna also was seen in a cameo. Shah Rukh Khan in this Ayan Mukerji-directed film was seen as Mohan Bhargav, who possessed the Vanar Astra. His special appearance led to frenzy in cinemas due to the mass element and also because viewers got a chance to see their favourite screen on the big screen after ages. SRK’s last film as a lead was Zero (2018).

An industry expert told Bollywood Hungama, “It is not a mere coincidence that Disney+ Hotstar released the first 9-10 minutes of the film today, on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, that too, when the digital premiere is less than 48 hours away. It’ll surely be lapped up and get millions of views in no time.”

Vicky Kaushal is setting new husband goals as he is thrilled about the release of PhoneBhoot which is also the first release of Katrina Kaif post their wedding. The actor reviewed the film on his Instagram story and couldn’t stop raving about the performances and comic timing. Katrina’s co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, reposted the story on their respective social media handles, expressing their gratitude towards Vicky.

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, PhoneBhoot is expected to be a horror comedy where the ghost Katrina Kaif is on a mission to help ghosts attain salvation and peace by helping them escape the clutches of Aatmaram who likes to trap them. To accomplish it, she takes the help of two jobless youngsters and trains them to be ghostbusters. Produced by Excel Entertainment, the film is expected to hit the big screens this week, on November 4.

Coming to Vicky Kaushal, the actor is currently gearing up for the period drama Sam Bahadur inspired by real-life events featuring Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh among others. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the RSVP banner.

In exactly over two months, superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes his much-awaited after five years. Back in June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a live session on his Instagram account after completing 30 years in the film industry. While speaking to the fans, he said, “When we started shooting Pathaan, it was a lot of fun. It is an action film with wonderful co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Ashutosh Rana among others. It is the kind of film I wanted to do for 30 years. I always thought of myself as somebody who can do some cool action stuff. So, I think my impression about Pathaan is what I really wanted to do when I first came to Mumbai, hopefully, I have achieved that in Pathaan as an actor.”

He admitted that he wanted to be an action hero in his 20s but is enjoying the process at 56 too. “I enjoyed it. It is fun having to do action. It is a little late (referring to his age). At the age of 56, I am being macho and solid, trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team have put in a lot of hard work. Hopefully, it will work,” he smiled.

Readers would be aware that Janhvi Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film Mili, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen. Janhvi Kapoor will be essaying the role of a waiter who works for a food chain but gets trapped in a cold storage freezer for over 48 hours in Mili. The film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the film is expected to hit the big screens on November 4.

Readers would be aware that Salman Khan received death threats followed by the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly. The actor, even got a weapon license under the need for self-protection. Now, recent reports have it that the security for Salman Khan has been increased. Along with him, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher will also be given extra security.

Readers would be aware that Salman Khan received death threats, allegedly, from the Bishnoi gang, after the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. Akshay Kumar has been given added security owing to the increasing number of social media death threats because of his nationality. On the other hand, Anupam Kher too has been given security because of the film The Kashmir Files that talks about the sensitive situation of Kashmiri Pandits in the controversial state. As per a Mid-Day report, Salman Khan will be given Y+ security which means he will have four armed security personnel aka commandos at all times. The actor has been given intense security because his father Salim Khan received death threats via a note that was placed on a public place when he was jogging in the city.

Following the recent tragic events in Itaewon, multiple South Korean celebrities are canceling and postponing their scheduled promotional activities for the next few days.

Halloween celebrations turned deadly in South Korea’s Itaewon. It was reported that a crowd crush led to the death of 154 people, of whom 26 were foreign nationals and 132 were injured as per updates on Sunday, according to Korea Herald. An estimate of 100,000 people was expected to be in attendance on Saturday night in Itaewon.

In the narrow alley, around 10:40 pm, the crowd began to surge leaving people stuck there for over one and a half hours. This led to suffocation in the tight space. Videos and photos went viral on social media in which people and first responders were giving CPR on the spot to people who were unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. Maximum fatalities were those of people in their 20s.

In light of the tragic events, BTS' Jin’s debut appearance on SBS’ reality show Running Man, which was scheduled for October 30, has now been cancelled. SBS announced the cancelation of his episode by issuing an official statement and asked for fans’ understanding.

Moreover, actor Jung Il Woo also announced via statement on social media about the postponement of his fan meeting in Japan. The statement reads, “Notice of postponement of Osaka and Tokyo fan meeting. First of all, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Itaewon accident in Korea. As the period of national remembrance has been set in Korea, we also have to make a difficult decision to express our intentions of remembrance.”

The statement continued, “We have decided to postpone the Osaka and Tokyo performances you have been waiting for for a long time. We deeply apologize for having to postpone the fan meeting you have been waiting for and cheering us on until now. We promise to see you again, and once again we sincerely apologize. Yong Jun Hyung's EP titled Loner, whose virtual tracks and physical album were both scheduled to be released on Sunday and Monday respectively, have now been delayed. Moreover, newly released films Remember and Confession canceled the appearance of cast members and directors at theaters to greet audiences.

A year ago, Dutt set up his production company - Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd which will bankroll feature films and other content. Now, one hears that along with producer Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment, the star is steering his company into the first venture. The duo has come together for their next titled The वरGIN Tree. The film is a horror comedy with an ensemble which includes Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan and also the launch vehicle for debutant Nikunj Lotia, known as Be YouNick. It is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and written by Vanuksh Arora & Sidhaant Sachdev.

Pop titans BTS are unstoppable. When in June 2022 the group announced they are taking a break from group music, they also mentioned that the focus would be to release solo work and collaborations. In the last couple of months, several collaborations have been released from the members. Following J-Hope’s Jack In The Box album and Jin’s single ‘The Astronaut’ with Coldplay, the group’s leader RM will drop his solo album on November 25.

If the reports are to be believed, the member is currently gearing up for his solo work which he teased on his Instagram story a few days ago. In response to the report, a source from BIGHIT MUSIC said in a statement, “RM will be releasing a solo album, and he is currently in preparations.”

RM has previously mixtapes titled RM and Mono. He recently did a song collaboration with Balming Tiger on ‘Sexy Nukim’

Meanwhile, BTS members have all released collaborations in recent times. J-Hope became the first member to drop his solo album in July 2022 with Jack In The Box with two lead tracks ‘MORE’ and ‘ARSON’. He released his collaboration ‘Rush Hour’ with rapper Crush on September 22.

On the other hand, V released his OST ‘Christmas Tree’ for the Korean drama Our Beloved Summer. He was also featured on Benny Blanco’s track ‘Bad Decisions’ along with Jin, Jimin and Jungkook. Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth on the track ‘Left and Right’; SUGA collaborated with PSY on ‘That That’ whereas Jimin released an OST ‘With You’ with Ha Sung Woon for K-drama Our Blues.

It was recently announced that BTS will fulfil their mandatory military conscription and opt for full-time service. Jin will be the first one to enlist followed by other members after their solo work releases. They will resume activities as a group in 2025.
